Green Lantern (Cruz) has posed:
After being unceremoniously shot out of space last night, Jessica landed in a green fiery meteor, but came out unscathed, though her ring is essentially out of juice. She has to get back home to charge it. But... she has no idea where she is. It's been years sine she was outside like this and the landmarks are unfamilmar. She can see the skyline if hte city so starts walking in that direction, hoping she crosses paths with a river - or a road. She might've got burned by the laser blast, but she can't tell. Just... she's really getting thirsty as she walks.

Headlights can be seen in the distance as a black Elantra is heading down the road towards where the green light was seen launching itself into the ground. Drake is behind the wheel of his team's rental car, looking curious as he leans forward over the steering wheel a bit. He is tapping away at a phone docked on the dashboard near the radio. His headlights flash over the woman walking down the road and he slows the car down, rolling the window down a well.

Star Shimmer has posed:
Its been a few days since Autumn had met the new Green Lantern on the planet. She's been doing her own thing though, Keeping the light of love glowing bright on the planet. She was actually pretty darn far away last night when the the Green fell from space. Half a world away to be exact. Still, Her ring notified her that something was going on. Sadly she was in the middle of nothing short of a real life Romeo and Juliet scenario! Lots of guns, two star crossed teen lovers trying to kill themselves. The whole shabang. Thankfully she's managed to get things cleaned up rather nicely.

So she's on her way back from Greece as it were. The Star Sapphire girl is setting a violet streak off through the sky as she makes her way towards where she can feel the landing point was for the other girl.

Jessica Jones has posed:
Jessica was actually scouting the area for a case, when something sparkly and greeny came crushing towards the ground. Obviously she did what most sensible people do, stepped as far away as she could from the trajectory to not get destroyed by whatever green missile was launched on the Earth. It's only after the crash, that she started to cautiously approach, her camera slung around her neck, "hello...?" She asks hesitantly, and then Jessica gets up from the crater she created, and Jones blinks, "you sure you should be walking right now?"

Green Lantern (Cruz) has posed:
Jessica Cruz finds a road. Awesome. It's a small road but she'll take it. She starts eagerily heading along it, still in the direction of the city. She sees a violet light in the sky - but she knows right now she would be hard to detect. Le sigh. She then hears someone talking to her. "Yeah... ummmm... it's hard to explain. I didn't think I'd see anyone till I got closer to the city..." Then a car stops as... "Wait - I know you. You're Drake.... you saved me from that fire a week ago... " Seh blinks. "I guess you saw my crash-landing..."

Opening the door and stepping out, Drake is still in his team jersey of blue and silver with the word STATIC across the chest and DYNAMITE upon the back. He gives a bit of a shiver at the cold weather as he blinks at the familiar woman. "Hey. You were in Metropolis. What... what are you doing out here... did you see something hit the ground?" He asks, his eyes glancing over to Jessica Jones now. "Are you .. both okay?" He asks with worry in his voice.

Star Shimmer has posed:
The Violet light streak in the sky is in the area at this point. The problem is, the Green ring isn't active making tracking the target much more difficult. How do you find someone specific when the signs of that specific person are hidden? Then it clicks. The love that she sensed the other nice.

As she uses her ring to lock in on her friend, She draws a bead on her. Within moments she touches down in front of the car not far from Jessic C. "Hello Everything alright here?"

Jessica Jones has posed:
"Are you sure you're okay...?" Jessica isn't too sure about the other woman's well being, so she takes a couple of steps after her, until they happen by Drake, and the projectile turned woman apparently was saved by him!? Jessica didn't even drink all that much today! "Wait, you survived getting shoot down from the skies like a missile, and yet you needed a world famous gamer to get you out of a fire? There's something, I don't know what it is, but you're doing it wrong."

Then comes the pink one, violet, whatever you wanna call it, Jess isn't huge on color range, if you'd take her to a beauty salon they'd have a fit. "I think that lady just crashed down from outer space or something, but she insists she's fine," Jessica offers her two cents to Star Shimmer.

Green Lantern (Cruz) has posed:
Jessica Cruz blinks. "It's... yes, I am doing it wrong... that was a week ago," she states softly. "Oh, I definitely could use a drink of water - so thirsty - but yes, I was shot out of space..." She sighs softly. She looks at Drake, then other-Jessica. Then... Star Shimmer? "I was half-expecting one of hte other Greens to track me down - must be busy with the cleanup. Not like they could find me... it's dead..." She holds up her hand, a green ring on her left finger that just looks like some weird not-quite-metal material - its emblem might be reocgnizable to the two non-Lanterns.. "Anillo used up the rest of its charge to save me... I probably should get a checkup - Imight have a concussion..."

Slipstream has posed:
"Woah, you know who I am?" Drake asks Jessica with a wide grin upon his face, cheeks flushed for a moment. "That's really cool. Heh. Um.. I got some Mountain Dew in the car if you're thirsty. I didn't know you were a Green Lantern. Wow.. my friend Zapp is /so/ into you guys. He says Guy Gardner is the freshest guy on the team. I heard he's a real twat though." He pauses in his rambling. "Oh. Um..." He pauses, looking at the other girl who just landed near by him. All in all, he is taking this pretty well. "Hi! I'm Drake. Everyone calls me Dynamite though." He reaches into the backseat of his car and tugs out a can of Code Red, handing it over to Cruz.

Star Shimmer has posed:
Star Shimmer looks at the crashed Green Lantern and smiles, "Make sure you keep a charge on your ring every day. Ya never know when you're going to need a full charge for something." She smiles to Drake and to Jessica Jones. Quietly She points her ring at Cruz and focuses on love. Violet light covers her as she starts attempting to heal the girl up.

As she focuses on Love, she speaks up, "A pleasure to meet you both. I am Star Shimmer, Star Sapphire Corps sector 2814." She continues to focus. "Dynamite? As in Dynamite Drake, the gamer? Sweet." She snickers

Jessica Jones has posed:
"Seriously? I was just joking," Jessica snaps, clearly not truly having expected that Cruz was shot down out of space. That's something. Unlike some, Jessica is utterly clueless about the whole cosmic police lanterns of the rainbow, so she's no clue what the ring means, only thing she knows for sure is people knocked out of space is way past her pay grade. "So...you're saying that ring made you survive getting knocked out of space?" Jessica tries to verify she heard correctly.

Jessica rolls her eyes when Drake is surprised she knows who he is, "come on, you guys beat the Koreans in that World Championship thing? That popped up my feed even when I don't give a fuck, so props for that. People know you."

Looking at Star Shimmer doing her version of the Carebear Stare to heal up Cruz, Jones looks stunned, then she looks aside at Drake, and mutters, "how the heck did -you- save -her- out of a fire?"

Green Lantern (Cruz) has posed:
Jessica Cruz shrugs. "It was before I got the ring," she mutters. She has yet to say her name. "I got trapped in a building fire and he dragged me out of a room before I suffocated. I got the ring later that day. It was a bit weird, admittedly..." She closes her eyes, as the violet aura is making her feel better -the Code Red was chugged down in a moment.

Cracking his own can of soda open, Drake takes a sip from it. "Yeah. Dynamite the gamer. Cool. Even the Star Sapphire corps know who I am." He is beaming with a bit of pride, even when Jessica speaks up about hearing him across the feeds. "Yeah. It was the first time that the Koreans actually lost. They've been on a nine year winning streak. They are like fucking robots, you gotta understand. They put eighty hour weeks in to the game. They live and breathe it. I mean, we do too ... but just the way they think and their reaction to strats is incredible." He pauses for a moment. ".. But no one .. ah .. cares about that. But, like she did .. I was in Metropolis for the tournament and one of the buildings was on fire across the street. I went in and .. just got lucky. Tried to find some people to pull out before the fire got worse. It was on the news, I just sorta ducked out before the media got there."

Star Shimmer has posed:
Star Shimmer looks at Drake, "Well not all the corps. I know of you from being a gamer when I'm not flying around helping Greens who fall from space." She winks playfully. Her attention goes back to the Lantern who she's still healing. "How are you feeling?" Better?" She asks as she looks over at Jessica Jones, "Nice to meet you as well?" She takes a deep breath an lets her light fade for the moment, assuming she's healed up.

Jessica Jones has posed:
"Where did you find it? A cereal box? That's quite the reward, I gotta say," Jessica Jones just has to be Jessica Jones, otherwise, who would she be? No disrespect, it just feels like she stepped into the set of Star Wars or something. "Damn, Koreans must really hate your guts then, huh? Well done," Jessica grins, happy to get distracted by Drake, his issues are way more down to Earth. Plus his Code Red is way less alien than magic rings. "I think you're crazy, Dynamite. Real crazy, but also heroic, so yay for that."

"No, no, no need for that," Jessica notes to Shimmer, "it's never nice to meet me, but thanks anyways."

Green Lantern (Cruz) has posed:
Jessica Cruz blinks. "It's not?" she asks, gazing at other-Jessica quizzacly. "It's... a long story." She maks sure the sleeve over her right arm is in place - she has some ugly scars on that arm - her hand has them too and the side of her neck. "That was nice, Star Shimmer. I just need to get home to recharge and rest..." She smiles faintly. "This is odd, isn't it - all of us just meeting out here? I guess I made quite an impact... good thing I didn't land on anyone.... I... I hope."

"Oh. No, they aren't mad .. I don't think at least. They gave us GG's later that night and gave us their respect. I wouldn't say I was heroic. I had some help, I just .. you know .. it was the right thing to do." Drake trails off as he reaches in for another Code Red, cracking it open after draining the first, then takes a sip. To the other lantern, he gives her a grin. "Yeah? You play Overwatch? I can trade you my B Net if you want. Not sure if you can play with me due to my rank but I'll do QP's or something, Arcade once in awhile." He takes another long sip, then offers the rest of his can to Cruz. "I didn't get your name either by the way, that day. You were kinda out of it and I didn't want to pester you."

Star Shimmer has posed:
Star Shimmer smiles to the un-green Lantern and nods, "I can get you home so you can charge up. Don't want ya to catch your death out here." She looks over at Jones and smirks, "If I'd tell you my name you'd probably have a bunch of mobsters wanting to use you for ransom to get me out of my home. They don't like me much. Caused too much trouble for them a few months back." She snickers. Then its back to Drake, "I play more of WoW then anything. Level 90 Night Elf Hunter. Sadly I don't do as many runs as I used to." She snickers. "Turns out flying around Space tends to keep you a little more preoccupied then not."

Jessica Jones has posed:
"Out here in the middle of nowhere? I think it's safe to say it's sheer luck you didn't destroy Dynamite's car," Jessica offers, pointing over at Drake, as if it wasn't obvious she was talking about the only guy in the area. Jones looks bewildered as Drake explains the situation, "no, no, stop right there. Running away or calling the fire department, that's the right thing to do when there's a freakin' fire! Going in to save people? That's heroic, selfless, and downright stupid. World needs heroes though, so congrats, you are one."

"Oh don't you worry about me," Jessica notes to shimmer, "I'm already mighty popular with the under world, ninjas, you name it, it wants me dead. Probably." Looking from Shimmer to Drake, Jones notes, "I'm the one who can't afford a decent computer, so definitely no gaming for me."

Green Lantern (Cruz) has posed:
Jessica Cruz shrugs. "Good at kicking Korean butt and saving damsels in distress..." she muses softly. "Well, it was a pleasure to meet my knight in digital armor and... ummm..." She glances at Jessica Jones. "And... it was nice to meet you." She smiles. "I'll see you two around." She glances to Shimmer. "Beam me up, Scotty?"

Slipstream has posed:
"Th' world can always use more heroes." Drake chimes in Tracer's trademarked line, complete with British accent. He chuckles after a moment and shrugs his shoulders upwards. "Like I said, I had some help. There was a mystic there. I think she's a witch. She had this .. weird decoder ring that could protect me from fire and the smoke. So .. it was sorta cheating ... If it wasn't for that, I'd probably .. ah .. still be watching across the street." He says sheepishly. "And I saw the green blast which is why I drove out here, I was kinda hoping to find a spaceship or something and take pics of it." To Star, he groans. "Oh, you are one of /those/. A Wow'er." He grins at her after a moment. "It's all good. I dabbled in that for a few minutes also. It's just too slow for me. I need that high octane FPS shit." He rubs his eyebrow, then looks to JJ. "You need a ride back in or .. you good? Since it seems they are gonna fly off."

Star Shimmer has posed:
Star Shimmer smiles, "I may be able to help you with that. If you'd like a system I can probably get one together for you. Just need a location to send it and what not." Then she looks at Drake and smirks, "Yeah I'm one of those. Its a nice distraction at least. FPSes tend to get boring after a while to me." Then She looks at the Green girl and smirks. "Okay!" She points her ring at her again and this time a violet ball wraps around her. She lifts off the ground. "Thank you for your assistance everyone.

Jessica Jones has posed:
"Like I told Shimmer over there, I'm never nice to meet, so no need for formalities," Jones offers Cruz, though she does notes, "was awesome to see you survive a freakin' drop from space...I take it you're one of those Superman people, huh? Good luck the rest of the way."

Turning to Drake, Jessica laughs, "I'd expect a gamer to use cheat codes to get through trouble, well played." Tapping Drake on the shoulder, Jessica adds, "these two clearly do the flying thing, so how about you let me have a ride, champ? You get round Hell's Kitchen?"

Green Lantern (Cruz) has posed:
Jessica Cruz nods as she gives Shimmer her address as she waits to be taken away. "Until next time, Dynamite, and... friend," she states, poking the violet travel bubble cuirously.

Slipstream has posed:
"Pff. Only noobs use cheat codes. I just use combo breakers." Drake says as he winks at Jessica Jaones, then waves to the pair of Lanterns as they fly off. He heads for the car and slips in, then reaches over to unlock the passenger side. In the back there is about five cases of Mountain Dew of all colors. Gamers. Best diets ever.

Star Shimmer has posed:
Star Shimmer smiles and lifts off. "Okay. Next stop your home." She accelerates as she gets higher in the sky until *BOOM!* She's high enough to not cause damage but it can be heard. Then for the final bit It looks like a Star Sapphire Logo Firework behind her lighting up the sky. A Sonic Starboom? "Okay You have your battery right?" She asks with a smirk.

Green Lantern (Cruz) has posed:
Jessica Cruz smiles. "It's in my house - Anillo lacked the charge to summon it..." Once dropped off, she unlocks the back door and gets the Lantern. She takes a deep breath and holds her ring to it. "In brightest day, in blackest night, no evil shall escape my sight. For those who worship evil's might, beware my power, Green Lantern's Light!"} she calls out as her whole house flares bright green as Jessica is once more garbed in her uniform. "Good to have you back, Anillo," she muses. "This is twice that you have been my guide," she muses to Shimmer. "I'll have to repay the favor one day."
