Cast of Characters: Supergirl, Power Boy

Supergirl has posed:
It's winter, chilly, Kara's been out and about. Now she's back from outer space, checking on her friend. She lets her self in, shivering at the chill and looking around. Assuming Beau and the puppers are out on a walk, she changes into some lounge pants and an oversized sweater to warm up. Towing a blanket over herself, she curls up on Beau's couch, tucking into a ball to wait and doze lightly.

Power Boy has posed:
He was handling the last of the collegiate work earlier. Young master Telle was, indeed, walking the dog. She hears them come back in, and he kisses her as she stirs on the couch. "Kara." He can feel her emotions. The conflict and concern in there? He frowns a little as he leads the dog into the kitchen. He feeds the dog and fetches a towel to dry the last bits of the dog off.
"I love you. What is the matter?" Blunt and to the point, as usual. Beau settles onto the couch next to her and moves to slide an arm about her back to pull her close. He leans over to kiss her with a little warmth. He has his own weird feelings, mostly worry, but other, negative ones. The sort of things he doesn't quite know how to deal with. She, no doubt, can hear his heartbeat pick up a little bit. His smile is soft afterwards and a couple of his fingertips gently caress her hair away from her face.

Supergirl has posed:
Melting into Beau, Kara kisses him. Her nerves heighten, but the tension is offset by the warmth spreading under her skin from Beau's attention. "It's stupid really. I've already settled things but we don't have secrets." She fidgets and looks up at Beau. "Lar kissed me, when I was checking on Drake." She tenses, wincing. "I told him that's not acceptable and he said he wouldn't do it again-but, I dunno." Her blue eyes are big as she searches his eyes. "There's only one man I love, and that's you. Lar understands."

Power Boy has posed:
His heart rate ticks up another dozen beats per minute. Beau works his jaw. She can hear his muscles tense. His left hand quivers with pure, unadulterated, immense rage. Oddly, though, his hand caresses her hair with a tender, almost teasing touch. His fingertips tease at her hair and caress her perfect, soft skin. Despite the tender touches, the young man is obviously pissed as hell. His eyes are dilated, and his nostrils slightly flared. The dog comes running in, and jumps on them both, as if sensing it.

His breath is not needed, but it does knock a beat or two per minute off his pulse. "Okay." Beau finally speaks. The word is soft, almost a prayer. He slides a hand through his hair. "I am going to have to talk to Lar." He's too mad to talk, and she knows it. He's going to lose it. "I am not mad at you." he decides. "I trust you. I believe in you. I believe in⦠us." he gives her a little lingering look. "Ahh, ho-how do we make is so people kn-know we are together? I mean⦠It's not like I can write my name on your face. Uh, i mean, wha-what can we do to signal that you are⦠not available?"

His mind is racing, but he isn't mad at her. He's decided he cannot be mad at her for being beautiful, inside and out.

Supergirl has posed:
"I could have sworn I told Lar we were together. I think he's been so wrapped up in his trauma about losing his memories he forgot." Kara places her hand on Beau's chest and looks into his eyes. "I told Lar after that it absolutely was not ok and he apologized." She tells him. Leaning in, she nuzzles against his shoulder. "I love you."

Power Boy has posed:
"I love you too." Beau's tone is quiet. His blue eyes are serious as he looks at her. "I can see that. I can feel that. I am secure in the fact that you love me. I hope you believe me too."

His brow is tilted as he regards her. "Lar and I are going to have to have a talk as well. A long chat. He needs to learn to keep his lips off my girl." That is said with a certain vehemence. He narrows his brows a little tighter. "You did not answer my question though. What can we do to make people understand you are not, uhm, for kissing?"

Beau pushes a hand through his two-tone hair. "It is important to me. I know it is a stupid, small, petty thing. It matters though." He is a little troubled. "Not a particularly attractive trait, I imagine."

Supergirl has posed:
"I don't know. Human cultures aren't unified in that. Sometimes a girl will wear her partner's clothes as a symbol of belonging-jackets or shirts and the like. Some wear jewelry to notate the courtship. Some do nothing at all. I do talk about you. I don't want you to worry about would be suitors. I discredited the idea Lar could think of me romantically since our worlds were enemies...I shouldn't have assumed." Kara says and scoots to cuddle more on his lap.
