Watching the Overwatcher
Date of Scene: 28 January 2018
Location: Drake's Apartment & Outer Space
Synopsis: Jessica and Drake hang out in his apartment, later Jessica went to outer space with Supergirl and Mon-El, before they met with Captain Marvel.
Cast of Characters: Green Lantern (Cruz), Supergirl, Slipstream, Mon-El, Captain Marvel (Danvers)

Green Lantern (Cruz) has posed:
Jessica Cruz set up a Blizzard account - she wanted to try this game that Drake literally makes his money on. She called it 'Cruz Control'. A clever play on words. She's sitting at his computer, wearing a gray sweater and black jeans, the green Lantern ring on her ring finger of her left hand as she is accepting instruction, as she is working on a tutorial stage.

Supergirl has posed:
Dropping by, Supergirl isn't bothering with her persona of earth human. The Kryptonian in cut off shorts and a sweater with a pair of sneakers. Her hair hangs down and free, no glasses in sight. Knocking on the door, she has one hand behind her back with an excited smile.

Green Lantern (Cruz) has posed:
Jessica Cruz blinks as she puts the tutorial on pause - fortunately not a live game, as she heads to the door. She opens the door, smiling. "Ummmm, hello," she states. "Drake's not here right now - he's downstairs for a team meeting." She isn't sure who this blonde woman is. (Her Lantern ring would be easily visible to those who know what it is. She doesn't really try hiding it - invisibility is a tricky power.)

Supergirl has posed:
Blinking, Kara looks around for a moment. "Oh. I see." She answers and relaxes her arm, hiding the gift. A stuffed Murlock with a watch tied on it's arm. "Well, I guess I can bug my Jimmy later. You want to give this to him? It's a ummm, gift I told him I might get him." She tells Jessica in a friendly tone. "Oh hey, sweet Lantern ring. Are you a fan of the green, mean space patrol?"

Green Lantern (Cruz) has posed:
Jessica Cruz smiles faintly. "One can say that. You can come in. He should be up shortly." She isn't sure if she should say that it's a real Lantern ring. But... her ring decides to remove all doubt. "Yes, I am sweet. Tell me more, Ms. Kryptonian," is said in a smooth baritone voice coming from Jessica's left hand. She stares. "Anillo! Stop that!" She blushes. "Sorry. Anillo is very talkative." She trails off. "Kryptonian?"

Supergirl has posed:
Laughing, Kara shakes her head as she steps in. "Hal's never talks! Do they all talk?" She asks and looks at Jessica. "Oh. Yeah. I'm Kara Zor-El. From Krypton." She offers by way of introduction. Only an alien wears shorts in winter on the East Coast.

Green Lantern (Cruz) has posed:
Jessica Cruz smiles. "Jessica Cruz. The newest Green Lantern of Earth," she states, offeirng a handshake. "That must make you Supergirl." She ponders. "They all do talk... but most of the time only on command. Mine... is apparently one of the first ones ever made that has been with many people over its lifetime... so... its AI is more robust." She smiles faintly. "I was visitng my friend Drake. He was trying to teach me the game he plays... but he had a team meeting so set me up on a tutorial level."

Supergirl has posed:
"Oh. I wish I could play. I still have trouble with Earth's...fragility when I get excited. So, controllers, keyboards, squish." Kara admits and looks about the space. "So this is how human males live?" She wonders curiously. "Families seem to have different housing...aesthetics." She notes, and looks about. "But it's nice to meet you Jessica. Maybe I'll see you at the Hall then. I don't get tapped for much with two "grown" Kryptonians on the roster." She crosses her arms under her chest. "Never mind Power Girl and I are the same age. Roughly."

Green Lantern (Cruz) has posed:
Jessica Cruz nods. "Yeah. I've met her a few times. You two do look somewhat similar." She is too polite to mention the most obvious difference. "Actually, I just started dating Drake." She shrugs. "The Hall? I'm... not part of the Justice League yet. I've asked Hal about getting me in but haven't heard back."

Slipstream has posed:
The apartment is covered in various posters of different anime and video games with a simple twin sized bed, a small couch and his large computer desk with a glowing green computer beneath it with three top of the line displays on top. There is a bathroom attached as well that is fairly simple. He has some clothing on the floor near the hamper, as if he just couldn't quite lob it in there. The kitchen is tiny as well, stocked with the basics. As the door opens up, Drake can be seen in his team jersey and a pair of jeans with some patches along the knees and thighs. "Hey." He calls over as he spies the pair of them, offering a grin. "What's up, Kara?"

Supergirl has posed:
Holding up the murlock, Kara beams! "Congratulations on not dying. I had every faith. Did Star Labs get in touch?" She asks and shows him the watch tied to the poor stuffed animal's arm. "No Jimmy Olsen is complete with out emergency alert watch." She tells Drake and looks at Jessica. "I'll poke him at the next meeting then. It's nice to get more girls around." She tells her and looks down at herself. "I know, she's stacked. To be fair, I'm still physically younger. Suspended animation, even partial suspension makes perception of time and aging super complicated."

Green Lantern (Cruz) has posed:
Jessica Cruz shrugs. "I wasn't going to say it... but I'd bet that if she was human, her back would hurt so bad..." she states. "Hey sweetie," she states. "I was checking over the characters and you'er right. I like Hanzo. Archery is so underrated in this modern society." She ponders. "I wouldn't mind joining that League."

Slipstream has posed:
Drake says, "Woah, you got me a Murlock! That is awesome, Kara. Thanks. Yeah. I got ahold of Star Labs and they and our guys in the Legion got together and created this fancy device that puts my body back together." Drake holds up his wrist to show off the clunky bracelet that is strapped to his arm. "It keeps my molecules in check and not ripping away into another time zone or something. It beeps at me if I push myself too much and it sorta resets my body." He tilts his head at the pair of them. "I see you two met, and you definitely are not allowed to play Hanzo." He chuckles. "I hate that hero. He's a trashcan.""

Supergirl has posed:
"So picky." Kara shakes her head and checks out the watch. "Ha! I can't wait to rub that in Lar's face. I never had a doubt." She tells her friend and hands off the stuffy and the watch. "It has a button on the side that lets out a signal Kryptonian ears will hear. So-if you're in trouble again." She makes a whoosh sound and gestures with a hand. "Though with a green lantern girl friend I'm old news." She teases.

Green Lantern (Cruz) has posed:
Jessica Cruz just stares. "A... trashcan?" she asks blankly. "What's wrong? I suppose you're giong to tell me that since I'm a girl I have to pick a girl to play?" She blinks. She then states, "So... how don't you go mad? If you can hear something like that from far away... does that mean you can hear basically everything going on anywhere around? How can you handle all that sensory input?" She sounds curious. "Oh... sorry. I guess that's a personal question. And... we just had one date."

Slipstream has posed:
Sliding the watch off of the Murlock, Drake slaps it on the other wrist and takes a peek at it. "Cool beans. Thanks for the decoder watch." He teases her with a grin, hugging the stuffed creature against him. He goes to answer her last comment, but pauses as Jessica speaks up. ".. Um..." He pauses. ".. One has nothing to do with the other... you can play Hanzo if you want."

Supergirl has posed:
"Oh, it can be a lot. You sort of learn to drown it out to a sort of white noise and pick out sirens, screams-I mean, like multiple people, gunshots. Horror movies and other umm-you hear-you don't want to focus on every little noise. Sometimes I go up to space, get real quiet." Kara answers, flustered and running a hand through her hair. She looks at Drake with a crooked smile.

Green Lantern (Cruz) has posed:
Jessica Cruz blinks. "Wow, I made _both_ of you uncomfortable. I really have to work on my social skills. Guess I'm rusty after being a hermit for years. And I was just joking, Drake. Seriously, why don't you like Hanzo?" She blinks. "I assume your opinion is based on gameplay..." She glances back to Kara. "Sorry for the personal question."

Slipstream has posed:
"Because he's garbage. He's a high skilled character that fucking idiots will play who don't even know how to hold their dick properly, and they throw games as him. He's easily countered by over half the other heroes and he is situational, and by that, I mean there's never a situation you want a Hanzo on your team." Drake says as he flops down into the large green and black bucket seat gaming chair, then slides his hands over his keyboard and mouse as he keys up a practice range to start doing some quick flick shots as the Widow. "Just dumb white kids who wanna be a weeb insta pick him because they think playing an asian with a bow and arrow is cool to satisfy some dumbshit anime wank fantasy they got." He really, /really/ hates that hero.

Supergirl has posed:
Covering her smile with a hand, Kara listens to the speech and chuckles. She sits, floating in the air crosslegged and leans on her knees with her elbows. Looking at Jessica she shakes her head. "I'm still learning how to interact myself. Fitting in is a hard thing on this planet. So much is different-even just here on Earth, you know?" she watches Drake que up his game. "Are you gonna be that weird spiky guy with the wheel thing?" She asks and leans over a bit to peek.

Green Lantern (Cruz) has posed:
Jessica Cruz shrugs. "Alright, alright. Geez. No Hanzo. I'll go with my other choice, Reaper. Knowing about how the weapons work in real life help - they're pretty good at simulatnig the effect." She glances at Kara. "I saw criminals burying a body - they killed my friends as I escape and I hid in my house for years afraid they were coming after me next. Until talking jewelry came to me..." She trails off. "My life sucked - then really REALLY sucked - only now is it showing signs of improvement."

Slipstream has posed:
"You can play Hanzo. I don't care if you do. You won't be in my ranks to play with or against me." Drake chuckles as he fires a leap shot from Widow's hook into a training bot's head. "Reaper is really cool. I like him." To Kara's question, he hits the H and switches to Junkrat. "That's Junkrat. He's a projectile hero. I don't play him because I'm a hitscan. I play a lot of Soldier, Tracer, Cree, Widow. Um...just the ones that allow you to do range. I'm known for my aim." He says as he fires what looks like flaming tennis balls at tires, followed by flinging mines. "I wish I could fly." He grumps.

Supergirl has posed:
"Yeah, I've uhh, had some dark moments too." Kara tells Jessica and grins crookedly at Drake. "It does have it's perks." She agrees where she floats and seems pretty comfortable, slouching a bit as she looks back at Jessica. "You fly, don't you? Hal floats around the damn Hall, even I walk mostly."

Green Lantern (Cruz) has posed:
Jessica Cruz nods as she lights up, her clothes changing to the Lantern uniform, asshe floats up to sit crosslegged in midair with Kara, the Lantern logo forming around her right eye. "I offered to take him flying... but he's acrophobic," she stage-whispers to Supergirl, loud enough for Drake to hear.

Supergirl has posed:
"Poor guy. That's rough." Kara notes and watches him fall down the rabbit hole of gaming. "Well, he's lost to the world." She notes and looks back at Jessica. "So. How long have you been in the corps?"

Green Lantern (Cruz) has posed:
Jessica Cruz shrugs. "About three weeks now," she states. "It's... a long and sad story about how I got the ring... what led up to it. I'd rather not discuss it." She sighs softly. "But... there's just something so peaceful about standing on the moon watching the Earth rise."

Supergirl has posed:
"Look. A lot of us come into this through adversity. It's...something to be proud of. Life gave you it's worst and you stood back up to defend someone else." Kara says more somberly. "And being able to hang out in space is pretty magical." She agrees, settling back down to stand, uncrossing her legs as she does.

Green Lantern (Cruz) has posed:
Jessica Cruz nods slowly. "Basically, a 'dark mirror' of a Lantern ring attacked me, and tried to make me an avatar of destruction... but... I fought it off. Apparently that act of willpower - was special. According to Anillo, nobody ever got the Ring of Volthoom to just leave them. Normally it only leaves on the host's death. That... attracted my ring." She smiles faintly. "Drake is a special person... he's going to help me clean out my house. It's... a big deal. I probably need to pick up several pallets to load."

Supergirl has posed:
"Oh? I mean. It's a house. You don't live in big spaces on this planet." Kara gestures about to indicate. "I mean, it's pretty densely populated where you do have people." She squints a bit and blows out a breath. "So many boxes. I wonder-does it feel...cramped to you?"

Mon-El has posed:
Lar has decided to drop in on Drake just to check up on him...he's been doing that every few days recently. It's good that it seems the gamer has been getting along quite well after the new tech was installed. But he's a little surprised to find Jessica and Kara there too. He knocks on the door to the unit, not even attempting the window this time since last time Drake informed him that it no longer had the ability to open without getting broken again. Amazingly, he manages not to break the door.

Green Lantern (Cruz) has posed:
Jessica Cruz smiles. "Hello, Lar," she states. "Drake's practicing for his next stream." She ponders. "I live in a house in the suburbs, not in a place like this. But... my house is crowded mostly because there's too much stuff in it." She glances over at Lar. "He's fine."

Supergirl has posed:
"I told you so." Kara blurts at Lar as he comes in. She looks back at Drake then Jessica and Lar. "So umm. He has his murlock and his....you and Lar's here now. Soo." She tugs her shorts down a bit and adjusts her sweater before looking around the apartment. "That's a lot of people for in here, this." She gestures around.

Mon-El has posed:
"You told me what?" Lar raises a brow at Kara as he enters. He caught the conversation, but can't quite make sense of what she's saying. Though he does nod toward Jessica. "Hello Jessica. It seems Drake has a lot of visitors tonight. If it's too crowded, maybe we could spend time together elsewhere?" he suggests.

Green Lantern (Cruz) has posed:
Jessica Cruz nods. "Yeah... when he gets like this he's in his own little world. How about we go hang out somewhere that's less crowded. Like... outer space?" She shivers. "Oh, I still get excited just thinking that whenever I will it, I can just go up into space."

Supergirl has posed:
"That Drake was going to be ok." Kara says and latches on to Jessica's idea. "Yes. Great, space is mostly quiet." She nods and clears her throat needlessly before looking between the other two and heading for the door.

Mon-El has posed:
"Oooh." Lar nods slowly at the clarification, smiling. "Yes, Kara. You were right. About everything. And I'm glad you were...willing to give me a little bit of tough love I guess. I really needed it."

He also seems keen on the idea of space. "Well sure, why not? Since we can, and Drake seems busy with practice anyway." With that, he follows Kara out the door.

Green Lantern (Cruz) has posed:
Jessica Cruz emerges with the other two, and heads towards the outside, and once outside, simply ascends up into space, to float above New York, smiling faintly, her aura glowing brightly for her life-support.

Supergirl has posed:
Kara flies out to low orbit, up, up and away. Drawing a breath, she closes her eyes once she's finally out of the white noise zone and things are a bit more quiet. "Oh Rao. It is a pretty planet from further up, isn't it?" She asks and smiles a bit.

Mon-El has posed:
Lar follows the two of them up and up until the curvature of the planet can be seen, and the glow of city lights below are like little golden pinpricks scattered across the landscape. It really is a great view. "Yeah, it never fails to impress every time, does it." he says, floating up near Kara.

Green Lantern (Cruz) has posed:
Jessica Cruz smiles. "I write books about space. A fiction series. But the reality is so much more..." She ponders. "I don't even know how to start. I do hope that my future books will reflect my new worldview."

Supergirl has posed:
"Oh? Yes. There are worlds and worlds." Kara murmurs. "And people from a few of them make it here. Sometimes they're good. Sometimes..." She trails off and takes in the beauty for a moment as her arms wrap about herself. "On Krypton, I liked art, I used to work on it in my free time. I wonder if I should try here."

Mon-El has posed:
"Oh? And what kind of worldview is that?" Lar asks Jessica after her last comment.

"You should." he encourages Kara in regard to the mention of art. "I bet you're still good at it." Assuming she was good to begin with. "What kind of art did you do? Painting? Sculpting? Drawing? Or all of it?"

Captain Marvel (Danvers) has posed:
A gathering of a Green Lantern, a Kryptonian and a Daxamite certainly carries enough combined power potential to occasionally trigger a Kree's 7th Sense. Something which causes Captain Marvel, who was en route to Alpha Flight Space Station, to take a detour, her cosmic glow streakin through space heralding her approach, before she slows down the nearer she gets to the group. It doesn't take more than a casual look to see there's no real threat being dealt with at the moment, "hello there," she offers with a brief gesture of salute.

Supergirl has posed:
"Sculpting, painting." Kara tells Lar with a shrug. "It hasn't been that long, but it has. I bet I'm pretty rusty." She looks at him then back to Jessica. Smiling at Captain Marvel, Kara nods to her. She's still hugging herself lightly.

Green Lantern (Cruz) has posed:
Jessica Cruz blinks as she studies the new arrival. She tilts her head, and a faint murmur comes from her hand. "Captain Marvel," she states, saluting. "It's nice of you to join us. We were just hanging out. My friend here," she states, gesturing to Supergirl, "wanted some openness around her and I suggested space." She smiles. "It's a pleasure to finally meet you." She extends her right hand for a handshake. "I'm Green Lantern." She glances at Kara and Mon-El. "I'm practicing my own kind of art. My constructs."

Mon-El has posed:
"Maybe, but practice makes perfect right? And if you enjoy it, it's worth it." Lar smiles, patting Kara on the shoulder. "You should show me what you can do sometime." he suggests.

Then he turns to the new arrival, immediately curious about her. Clearly she isn't human, but not Kryptonian or Daxamite either. He glances at Jessica. "You know her?" he asks.

Captain Marvel (Danvers) has posed:
The smile Kara offers is returned by Captain Marvel, and at Jessica's explanation, she grins, "nothing quite nearly as open as the space in all its vastness," she reaches to take Jessica's hand in a firm shake. Not that she seeks to assert herself, just a force of habit after years in the USAF. "Pleasure to meet you, and glad to have a Lantern in Alpha Flight, I'm sure you'd be quite the asset."

At Mon-El's question, Carol turns to look his way, flashing an amused grin, "she very well should, seeing how she's on the same team with me." She then seems to furrow her brow, recognizing his face, "you're Mon-El, aren't you?"

Supergirl has posed:
"Yeah maybe." Kara shrugs and focuses on Jessica and Captain Marvel, curious. She looks between them now when Captain Marvel recognizes him as Mon-El and not Lar. "Oh? Have you seen him before too?" She asks curiously.

Green Lantern (Cruz) has posed:
Jessica Cruz smiles. "Yes, this is Captain Marvel. One of the commanders of Alpha Flight. I'm the liaison between them and the Green Lanterns in case it's necessary... and it's good training for Hal and Kyle are always so busy with the rest of the sector. Hear there's a strange issue at the far edge of Sector 2814. All they'll tell me it's something to do with the color red." She shrugs. "I'm just trying to learn my place, abruptly thrust into the superhero life."

Mon-El has posed:
"Ah." Lar nods. "Alpha Flight--oh, yeah. They were the ones who sent out the alert about those rigged meteors, right?" He asks, referring to the earlier conflict against the Sneepers and other servants of Darkseid. "It's nice to meet you too, Captain. Er...yes that is a name that a lot of people seem to use although I can't seem to recall how I got it." he grins, looking slightly abashed. "Lar Gand is my, um, birth name."

Captain Marvel (Danvers) has posed:
Carol taps Jessica on her shoulder, "if you ever wish to sparr, discuss strategies or have a need for advice, you can feel free to approach me at any time." She was once new, she knows how overwhelming it can be.

Captain Marvel nods at Supergirl, "I have, I've been sent a link to an unfortunate online video, not because of him, mind you, but because thick headed Johnny Storm AKA The Human Torch decided to announce to the world that 'the age of the hero' is over. He's an idiot."

Not wanting to bring about the whole incident, she just offers Mon-El, "try to avoid any form of media, they are more often than not after sensationalist headlines, scoops, and will twist any facts to make a story catch fire in rating." When he speaks of Alpha Flight, Carol nods, "Alpha Flight is tasked with the protection of the Earth from alien threats from outer space."

When he corrects her about his name, Carol nods, and then flies closer to him, extending her hand in greeting, "Carol Danvers, pleased to meet you, Lar Gand."

Supergirl has posed:
"Carol Danvers?! No way! I-uhhh, do you know ummm, there's uhh, my foster family on Earth use the same last name." Kara says, surprised. "How common is that last name?" She asks and forgets her semi-brooding. Seems she won't be making Batman proud today.

Green Lantern (Cruz) has posed:
Jessica Cruz nods. "Yes... it's how I ended up joining them. I fought alongside them... till I was shot out of the sky. I went up to talk to them and we agreed that I'd be a good asset." She blinks. "Oh, I don't know if I said it already. I'm Jessica Cruz." She waves again to everyone. "I heard about that video with that villain Livewire. I didn't watch it. Her stuff tends to be crap."

Mon-El has posed:
A sigh escapes Lar at the mention of Livewire's videos. He facepalms momentarily. Ugh, that is -never- going away, is it? "For the record, I do -not- beat up women for fun. She was threatening the innocent patrons of an electronics establishment and causing property damage, I merely asked her to stop." And threatened to hurt her if she didn't, but he doesn't say that specifically. "I...Johnny seems nice, but he also seems rather guillable. But he made amends as best he could, after I talked to him."

Kara never saw that video, did she? He really hopes not, glancing nervously at her.

Captain Marvel (Danvers) has posed:
Turning to face Kara, Carol looks surprised, "is that so? I may know them if they're from Boston," she offers, "I'm not sure how common it is, but I'm sure there are more than just a few of us out there," she winks at Kara. Jessica gets a thumbs up for fighting the good fight, "best way to join Alpha Flight, already fulfilling the mission before you become a part of the group." Carol reaches to squeeze the bridge of her nose between thumb and index finger, "Livewire is a headache, her show is harmless, but when she gets idiots like Human Torch to dance to her tune, she can cause real harm."

"Nobody thinks you beat women up, Lar, don't worry about that." Carol tries to show support, "you just encountered media when you weren't ready for it." Carol shakes her head at Lar, "Johnny made amends with you, but he never took back his stupid statement. As a Fantastic Four, and one of the foremost heroes, at least fame wise, he was very irresponsible, and still is, the brat."

Supergirl has posed:
"Did you get in another big public fight?" Kara asks and rounds on Lar. She props her hands on her hips and looks at him. "You're impossible sometimes. We're going to impose some alien buddy system so you stop getting into so much trouble." She scolds and shakes her head. "Ooooh Livewire. Yeah, that's ok. You can hit her." She nods and drops the scolding posture. "But you still need to work on that getting in trouble thing!"

Green Lantern (Cruz) has posed:
Jessica Cruz shrugs. "Yeah... he thinks just because he's pretty he can say whatever he wants. And... Livewire doesn't count as media. She's more of a..." She frowns. "I'm not sure what words to use but they aren't polite. I'd just disregard whatever she says." She shrugs. "I heard someone tried to kick her in the head during that interview but Livewire bailed out. Some glowing red girl." Her ring chirps as she holds her hand up to her ear. "Oh, I have to go. Construct practice in the astreoid belt again." She waves and then zips away, leaving a green streak as she heads towards the asteroid belt.

Mon-El has posed:
"-Good-." Lar sounds relieved when Carol assures him no one thinks that. Well, at least no one who really matters, right? "Honestly, I -should- know how to deal with that, with my upbringing, but I guess it was the last response I was expecting at that particular moment and she also kept using a bunch of Terran slang and stuff that I didn't understand." he mutters, annoyed.

He holds his hands defensively when Kara goes into scolding mode. "Hey, I didn't even -get- to hit her before she ran off. Not to say that I don't seem to be a massive trouble magnet lately..." he sighs again, shaking his head. "That whole mess with Glorith just proves it." Then he smirks. "Alien buddy system, eh? Fine by me, as long as I get you as my buddy."

Captain Marvel (Danvers) has posed:
Carol turns towards Jessica and frowns, "you may dismiss her as trash, but her brand of trash gets more million of viewers online than some actual news outlets get, that counts as media, like it or not. We need to have heroes taught how to handle such situations. Being dismissive of them, is the wrong approach." If Jessica hasn't heard about Captain Marvel before, she can get a sense of her now, she tends to be decisive and holds the firm belief that she's right about most anything. It takes a solid debater to get her to change her mind. Or evidence to the contrary. She'll take those too, but as JJ of the Bugle found out fast, Carol Danvers is a tough woman to persuade.

To Lar, Carol offers, "next time you face her, try to have a glass of water on hand."

Supergirl has posed:
"Me? I can't be with you all the time. I have the Justice League and you know-pretending at human life that I have to do." Kara tells Lar and looks at him before looking at Carol. "I like you. You think like my cousin." She nods and asides to Lar "I bet that's how you ended up and El. People probably assumed you were related t o us. Since that's our last name."

Mon-El has posed:
"Well I guess you'll have to take turns with someone, then!" Lar laughs. "Maybe Laurel." Because Lyle has enough headaches already.

He nods at Carol's suggestion. "Yeah, that makes sense. Though I am hoping I won't -have- to." Yeah, he'd rather avoid her, to be honest. "Given I still don't understand a lot of things about Earth's...ways."

"Hm. That's funny." he chuckles a bit at Kara's theory. "But you're probably right. I guess since there aren't many Kryptonians left, someone must have figured if that's where I came from I must have been part of your family, too."

Captain Marvel (Danvers) has posed:
"If you like," Carol offers to Kara, "I can help you practice pretending to be human." She's spent some time with the X-Men, she knows how hard it can be for those who are not human but need to appear as such.

Supergirl has posed:
"It more or less is us, and some criminals." Kara says with a flat expression. It's not an entertaining idea to her. She looks down at the planet and back at Lar and Carol. "Probably not the worst idea. Eliza's calling. Good talk." She offers and abruptly drops back down towards the planet in a free fall for a while before flying off.

Mon-El has posed:
"Ha, if anyone needs practice pretending to be human, it's me." Lar shakes his head. "Because I can barely pick up a piece of glass without breaking it."

He watches Kara leave. "I should go too. It was a pleasure meeting you, Carol!" Zoom! He's off as well, headed for the Legion cruiser.
