Synopsis: Stealing stuff with Witchfire and Blackout. Should be merged with 3975
Cast of Characters: Blackout, Witchfire

Blackout has posed:
Standing atop a building in midtown, Blackout is barely noticeable against the midnight sky. He wears his opaque, flat black body armor made of darkforce. No facial features, almost like a formed plate over his face and no skin showing. Definitely not a Marvel female character costume. He stands silently on the edge of the rooftop of the 70+ floor building. Below are the city streets that never sleep. Above, in the skies, are the random helicopter, flying car, airliner (in the distance) and clouds that block moon and starlight.

Witchfire has posed:
Scoping out the building from street level is Ananym. The horned redhead sliding her fingers along the tops of the trio of wands strapped to her thigh under the slit in the skirt of her dress. She isn't looking to close at the roof, she'd ruled it out as an entry or exit for lack of ease getting away from the building. Instead she eyes a plain, unmarked door used by janitors to take out the trash and the like.

Witchfire has posed:
Slipping into the building, Witchfire has chosen a wand. She moves camera out of the way long enough for her to slide past with a gesture and his of some infernal language. Creeping through the halls, she slips a bit of paper from her top and refers to it with a look about to get her bearings and then moves to the elevator. Everything about this mission makes her grouchy, but better the artifact is moved to more responsible hands even if they're trusting the demon to do it.

Witchfire has posed:
Top floor. The elevator opens with a ding and Witchfire steps into the hall. She's studied the diagram enough to reach the same room with relative easy. She creeps in, content to have evaded cameras so far and moves into the dark room, shutting the door behind her before providing herself with some light. Sliding a pen light free of the same holster she wears her wands, Ana starts to shine her light about, over the walls, honing in on the magic.

Witchfire has posed:
Finding a panel, Witchfire pops her pen between her lips and starts feeling the wall. "Should just burn the whole fuckin' thing." She mumbles to herself around the penlight and sighs as she starts pushing on things, feeling for latches. "Couldn't just display it, ooh, look at us and our evil shit, let's play with cursed artifacts." The demon rolls her white eyes and turns her head, light and all to press her ear to the wall. It's at that point the light catches the edge of the desk and she stills for a moment, not sure if she sees something there or more shadow in the gloom.

Witchfire has posed:
Witchfire waits a few breaths and when nothing moves, she puts her focus back on the wall. A hand brushes her temple and she nods. "Yeah, yeah, I know. Hustle. There's something fiddly between me and the artifact, can't feel it too clearly." She murmurs as her other hand continues to search until she presses in a well concealed latch and the wall slides in and away in a pocket panel in the wall. "Well shit." She huffs, looking at the vault. "I'm gonna blow it up shaman-the door." She warns her cohort and starts to back up.

Witchfire has posed:
Startling, Witchfire whirls and looks at the black on black clad man. "Hold on Shaman." She murmurs and points her wand Blackout's way. "You again?" She asks after a moment and frowns. "Well, I don't crack safes well, so, it's blow up the door and force field, or let Roxxam keep their cursed toy."

Witchfire has posed:
"I thought Catwoman was the thief in the black get up." Witchfire grumbles and steps back, propping her hands on her hips. "I can make force fields, but that's magic, different weaknesses." She notes and gestures to the vault. "Your move Mr. Black. I wouldn't grab this one with out some serious anti-curse swag on hand though. It might turn you inside out, among potential things this stupid pot is rumored to do."

Witchfire has posed:
Closing her eyes, Witchfire turns the wand on the forcefield, probing a bit with some good old fashioned telekinesis. "It extends into the walls...hmm." She points a few feet over on either side with her light. "There and there." Her eyes slide to Blackout. "I think you could drop it from those points, maybe."

Witchfire has posed:
"If not, I can handle the security." Witchfire rolls her neck and slides one wand away before drawing a different one. "Ok. Lets get it going, I'm on the clock." She nods and wriggles her nose thoughtfully. "Hope you don't mind a bit of hell fire."

Witchfire has posed:
Witchfire braces and shoots her fire at the vault to the side of the handle. She's torching a hole through the metal with white hot flames. It doesn't take long for a sweltering heat to build in the room as metal melts and droops to the floor with grim satisfaction.

Witchfire has posed:
Eying the door, Witchfire looks to the artifact. "I don't suppose you'd grab that for me with out stealing it? I've got a guy who can neutralize the nastiness." She says, already putting her back to him and getting a force field up on the door. "I'd hate to have to find you and melt your bones."

Witchfire has posed:
"He's good with bad magic." Witchfire says dryly and backs up towards. Blackout. "Shaman, taking another exit, meet up soon." She murmurs and touches the side of her head lightly before eying the portal and taking a hesitant step back through it, keeping her shield up as guards fire on it.

Witchfire has posed:
"Mmmn. I've decided I don't want to know how this works." Witchfire looks about and shudders. She fishes in a pocket and starts smearing a acrid smelling paste over her hands. "A few blocks over will do. Got a flyer to up and away things once we stow the item." She tells him casually and looks at Blackout. "What do I call you?"

Blackout has posed:
He opens another portal in an alleyway off Madison and 16th. He steps out, leading the way again. "Here we go." His armor shifts to appear to be that of fancy black shoes, slacks, jacket, shirt, no mask.

Witchfire has posed:
"Not an answer." Witchfire notes and steps out. Her outfit more lascivious than combat ready. She makes sure her hands and wrists are covered and nods to Blackout. "Ok. Drop it if you can into my hands. The gunk helps keep it from contaminating, even if it's a bit sharp on the nose." She makes a face as the telepathy links back i and she looks briefly distracted.

Blackout has posed:
"I haven't decided yet.. I mean you know, secret id's and all that. Then again, we've got a sorted history." He gives pause a moment while walking. "Let's go with Marcus. As in that's my name." He looks at her hands and says, "Okay.. ready?" And will open a small portal above her hands, the artifact will fall into her hands.

Witchfire has posed:
"Oh, umm. Ananym." Witchfire offers in return, nodding once she's ready for the pot. "Yeah yeah, he dropped me in Jamaica. Ohh, the range isn't that far? Busted." She chuckles and looks to Blackout. "Ready go. Probably can't linger in the alley all night, they'll catch wise eventually."

Blackout has posed:
"Then hey. I'll leave you to it then. Thanks for the assist. There was no figuring it out on my end. Teamwork really works, or something." Marcus states as he shifts his darkforce jacket with his hands, suring it around his shoulders and buttoning the front."

Witchfire has posed:
"Small world Crossing paths again. You seem to have a taste for dangerous and magical." Ana notes and hisses a bit at the pot. "I need to meet up with Shaman and ditch this thing before I go full she-demon. It's not my best look." She tells him and gives Marcus and up and down look. "Guess that means I'm seeing you around-Marcus."

Blackout has posed:
"I'm actually trying to make brownie points before I apply for a particular job." He notes casually and then sees that she's on her way out, "Good seeing you again too, Ananym." Which he nearly butchers the phonetics of her name. He smiles, turns and will head into the darkness.
