Cast of Characters: Loki, Thor

Loki has posed:
The sweeping breadth of knowledge contained in the Stephen A. Schwarzman building is impressive. It is a building that has endured over a hundred years and contains the state of the art in information technology and storage. A building where several of the great American novels are stored physically while all the world's wisdom is contained in the depths of their rather well put together computer system. It is a subtle shrine to the modern vision of humanity. And indeed, it is impressive. To mortals.
But despite his time amongst them of late, and despite his somewhat grudgingly given respect and perhaps even a smidge of affection, the expression on the man known as Sam and truly named Loki... is an expression of mild amusement.
He walks down the aisle of mankind's history and there's such a gentle look on his features that is almost condescendingly fascinated. The smile on his lips speaks to the way people laugh and chortle and point at a loving canine companion that sits up and attempts to shake hands. 'Aww look, they think they're people!'
Though Loki does stop and draw a small tome from the shelf and thumbs it open only to smirk all the more and emit a small chuckle.

Thor has posed:
While the Sky-Fathers are up discussing their lofty aspirations and goals, down stairs on the realm called Earth, the base of Olympus, and who knows how many other names, down here, the children ruin any and all schemes by making and executing their own.

Ate has come down from the highest moutant realm and has come after her counterpart. The woman has grown weary of the last few milennia and yet she's had some drastic developments in her world in the last few days and she has some of the most fun she's had in a long time just planning things so she's going to savor this. The goddess steps down the isles of the library and she's searching mystically for the god (Or goddess she's not one to judge) of Loki. She figures he'll be using a disguise much as she is, only the woman has decided to wear something she borrowed, or stole from Aphrodite, a sheer tiny black dress that's one size too small and so she's practically bulging out of the top and bottom. Her bright green eyes flit from left to right as she walks past each isle, "Loki... damn it I thought I sent the message the right way your daddy taught you."

Loki has posed:
The other mischievous manifestation of divinity is indeed in disguise, though for one gifted in particular magical arts or a representation of belief themselves, it is hard to hide that clear after-image of power that seems to follow their ilk. Yet his mortal form is not too strayed from the divine in that olive green great coat of his and the dirty blonde hair. He tilts his head to the side as the goddess saunters down the aisle to him and his lip curves up.
"Message?" He clumps the book closed and sets it on the shelf, pushing it back into place amongst its cloth-bound brethren with one fingertip. He turns and tilts his head one way, then the other, as if trying to gauge this woman from various angles. "I am afraid I have received naught."
That said he steps to her and his nostrils flare a touch, sniffing as if there was something upon the air, then he says. "Tell me, what brings you before me, Ate? Such a risk when we wander the world together. I can't remember, can we stand each other? Did we?" His lip twitches at that last.

Thor has posed:
"Loki, you my fine counter part." The woman begins, her long painted nails lift up and she slides one along his chin as she licks her painted lips slowly and she leans in to whisper huskily but loud enough that others could hear if there were an isle or two over. She continues, "I seem to recall we love each other, knowing we'd be perfect for each other, but also hate each other, knowing that by our very natures we'd have to try and kill each other in perpituity." The woman says, her hand now at the base of his chin before she pinches her thumb and finger against his jaw line on opposite sides and she lowers her face incredibly close before she lets go and slaps him once almost sweetly. "Sorry, been spending time around the cherubs and Aphro lately... must have got me in a mood."

Loki has posed:
The smile doesn't waver on the man, even at the slap as he lets a snort come free after she draws back and utters that last. He rubs at the side of his cheek and cocks an eyebrow at her with a measure of incredulity in those green eyes before he shakes his head "Ah, that would explain why we had... agreed?" He perhaps searches for the best word, "To stay on our relative sides of creation to ourselves. Now perhaps I was wrong but did I not call dibs on Earth?"
He starts to walk then, moving down the aisle with an ease of step and not really mitigating the volume of his voice for now, though to be fair there aren't too many other individuals in this area of the stacks. "But what message is to be carried, what import is to be given?" He pauses as he finds a small treatise on the battle of Cannae and quirks an eyebrow at it.
Loki looks back at her over his shoulder, "If it is going to infringe upon my little game I'm playing I'll be quite put out."

Thor has posed:
"Loki, Loki, Loki." She says with a decending tone, the mischievious goddess says almost condescendingly. "Loki. The message is no longer important. It was simply a communicae about where we should meet up and take some time to discuss our plans and current events. But like I said, we're here now, lets talk."

Ate says, standing near Loki and even giving him a bump of her hip. "Now... what's new with you?" She asks almost coyly as she feigns interest in Loki's life and before he can ever answer she interrupts. "Whatever, who cares, what I have not only infringes upon your game. It flips over the Zuesin' table and sets it on fire." Ate says, a sparkle in her eyes as she says this, promising juicy news.

Loki has posed:
Loki pauses there, his hip being bumped into and his eyes narrowing warily as she gives a sparkly-eyed gaze to him. He returns it with suspicion of course and then folds his arms over his chest, his expression held back a touch warily. "Mmm, you do realize I am terribly protective of my games." He offers that at least as something approaching a causion. But then he gives in.
"Very well, very well. Tell me what you have to say and we'll see." He lifts his eyebrows as if to show that he's receptive...
Only for a young woman in glasses and with pink hair to peer around the end of the bookshelves. She looks back and forth, espies the two deities and then places a finger to her lips to very pointedly tell them, "SHHHH!"
And as quick as that she disappears back around and out of view.

Thor has posed:
Ate looks over at the woman with death in her eyes and then the goddess rolls her eyes and turns back to Loki. The woman puts her arm around the small of his waist and she lowers her voice before she stands on her toes, the woman in the tiny dress pressing her self against his arm so she can move her mouth next to his ear.

    "I."

    "Have."

    "Mjolnir."

The goddess then presses her teeth against his ear lobe and tugs slightly before she lets go by opening her mouth and then stepping back in order to see his reaction.

Loki has posed:
The response from Loki is wide-eyed with a smile that's broad and edged like a newly drawn blade. "You don't!" He says, that British accent broadening that last word to almost two syllables. He eyes her askance, then lets a small chuckle slip from him. "Oh if so then that is terribly amusing. But..."
She can see his features furrow as he looks to the side, even as she presumes to a level of intimacy that would normally draw an objection but for now he's perhaps more distracted by the possibilities before them.
His eyes narrow, then he looks back at her abruptly, "How did this come to pass if so?" He seems to have utterly ignored the pink-haired woman with the glasses as his tone has only marginally slipped lower but has a conspiratorial air to it.
"And what is more, what do you intend to do?"

Thor has posed:
"How, hell if I know." She says with a laughing chuckle before the goddess gets less familiar with her Norse counterpart. "I, intend to find myself a champion capable of wielding the hammer and then I will over throw Olympus." The goddess says, her goals are fairly basic and not anything new for the goddess, but what was Loki expecting?

Loki has posed:
A short laugh slips from him as he turns to walk again, but now there's room for her at his side as he moves, no longer expecting her to walk behind him. "That is no small order, and if you seek that as your end game well..." He cants his head curiously to the side, eyes lifting upwards instinctively. "Then you will need more than just Mjolnir."
And yet as that is said, he turns and leads her off away from the aisle and the library itself, moving towards the side door. He strolls there and then turns around to walk backwards as he tells her, "Give me some time..." He presses against the door's bar and opens it as he leans back against it, holding it open for her as he murmurs, "I think I may have some ideas."
