It's a Bird! It's a Plane! It's... About to CRASH!
Date of Scene: 13 May 2017
Location: Metropolis
Synopsis: Summary needed
Cast of Characters: Gravitas, Supergirl

Gravitas has posed:
The sky overhead is one of brilliant blues and fluffy white cumulonimbus clouds that float easily across the horizon. It's late afternoon and the whole of Metropolis is peaceful. The day is so beautiful that muggers have decided not to risk the wrath of one of the various superheroes and are playing at the park with their children. Villainous CEOs do their business over a picnic lunch. The world is a more friendly place for the intervention of the beating sun.

Unfortunately, up in the sky above Metropolis is not so forgiving. It started with a technician failing an engine check. Just one check; he forgot to oil a turbine. This would have been fine if a curious bird had not decided to stick his beak inside that same turbine as it flew twenty thousand feet above sea level on a direct course at something near one half sonic speeds in order to enter the city of Metropolis. An alarm sounded.

"This is your Captain speaking. We seem to be having some turbulence. I am going to have to ask you all to fasten your seatbelts and stow any loose objects..."

Victoria is sitting alone in one of the seats in the twentieth row. She is dangling her legs and kicking them lightly, being the sort of girl who is petite, five feet one inch or so, with a generous figure that no one ever gets to see because it is hidden under a pleated skirt and a very modest pink blouse. She raps her fingertips lightly against her seat, her coif of blonde curls bouncing.

Then an alarm light sounds. The plane is listing. Tori slides in her seat, yelp, and then ends tries to push herself up out of it. A stewardess hurriedly ushers her back.

"No, you have to sit. It's too dangerous. Stop-" They argue a moment and the diminutive caramel skinned girl with the blue eyes is forced back to seating.

Something needs to be done fast. Over 20,000 feet up a plane is descending. And picking up speed on its way toward any number of skyscrapers and a public park.

Supergirl has posed:
It's a lovely, calm day in Metropolis. Meaning, that the calm can't possibly last. There's a faint 'BANG' as the poor bird interacts with the airplane's turbine in a most unfortunate way. The sound is too faint for human ears to hear, but Kara Danvers' Kryptonian hearing picks it up as clear as day. Kara was out in Centenial Park, idly sketching and drawing, undisturbed in her civilian identity. But, the sound of danger causes her to look up and see what doom is approaching Metropolis now. Seated in the shade of a tree, near a patch of brush and scrub, Kara ducks into the overgrowth, and changed into her SUpergirl costume. In a momnet, away from prying eyes, the mousy brown-haired, bespectabled Kara Danvers is replaced by the confident blonde powerhouse of Supergirl. With a *WOOSH*, the Girl of Steel takes to the skies to rescue the plane and it's passengers.

Gravitas has posed:
Meanwhile, on the plane a petite teenaged girl has just staged a jailbreak. When the matronly Samoan stewardess turned away Tori slipped out of her belts and wound herself sinuously up over the top of the seat. She dropped backward... Into the lap of some balding businessman who is clutching his laptop like it is worth more to him than the lives of the passengers to his left and right. She stares up at him for a second and he stares back, confused at how such an awkward vision of racially ambiguous and politically correct loveliness could have tumbled into his lap.

Then the girl lets out a squeaky yelp and the man swallows hard and she quickly tumbles into the nearby lane. Tori quickly makes her way through the plane toward the back, already reaching for her costume as she goes. It mostly consists of slicking her hair down quickly using some gel to darken those distinctive curles aned keep them from wildly framing her head and what is above it, then tying on a purple mask and retrieving her hoodie.

Then Tori is confronted with the emergency door. It won't budge. She can't risk just tearing it apart... The alarms surge and the plane goes into a nosedive. Red lights flash. Tori is thrown back against a wall only to catch herself an inch away. Nevermind. With a SMASH, Gravitas explodes out of the plane and flies back to survey the situation.

Wait,is that Supergirl? FLoating just beside a plane headed toward an unfortunately oversized billboard atop a skyscraper, a wildly bobbing but still very much in flight Victoria Lawrence stares for a moment. The cavalry has arrived.

Supergirl has posed:
Supergirl has almost reached the plane, when...someone flies out of the emergency exit! The plane goes into a steepet nose dive and the depresurization alarms are going off, mingling with the screams of terror from the passengers. "Great..." Kara says in a flat voice, repositioning herself to get in front and slightly under the plane. This situation just got exponentially worse...First things first, Supergirl settles in under the nose of the plane, slowly lifting up to pull the airliner out from it's near nosedive. Slowly, steadily, Supergirl mnages to correct the angle of descent, leveling the plane out and all but carrying it on her back now.

Gravitas has posed:
Hey, the nosedive was first! They were already screwed. Depressurization made it marginally worse, sure. Fine. Maybe. Tori is flailing for a second but then she ends up moving up beside the plane and touching it with a hand, fluttering backward as she does. The plane lurches upward. Kara lurches upward. This is because from Kara's subjective perspective a plane with the mass of 832,000 pounds suddenly weighs about two hundred. Tori pushes on it with one hand as well. Look! She's helping. Those blue eyes shift to Kara and the girl stares at her past the fuselage. Blink. Blink. Blink.

Supergirl has posed:
The sudden and unexpected shift in the weight of the plane causes Supergirl to overcompensate for a moment, pushing the nose of the plane up suddenly. There's more shrieks as the plane's attitude of flight dramatically shifts, but Supergirl somehow manages to keep control. Letting the plane settle back down, Kara looks over at the flying girl; the same one that broke through the emergency door. "Are you altering the weight of the plane?" she shouts both to be heard and in mild annoyance. "Warn the person you're working with first! I could have flipped that plane if I didn't have such fast reflexes..." She sighs, realizing how harsh she sounds, then speaks in a more even tone. "Look, just keep the weight of the plane light and follow me down. We've got this." Kara adds a smile to indicate that yes, this girl is definately working with her.

Gravitas has posed:
"S-s-sorry...!" Tori has an inner city Metropolis accent. That makes sense given where her plane was headed. Right now the girl nods firmly and focuses on righting the plane with Kara's help. From here the weight remains even and the plane is actually trivial to guide toward the ground, except for the tremendous updraft that threatens to cause the now far lighter-than-air craft to fly upward toward the sun. Somehow, however, they manages. The honeyed haired girlw ith thew ildly bouncing curls is helping but Kara could carry a million planes like this. Tori follows Kara's lead for now, breathing heavily as she sres up toward the sky. "Going for the airport?" She asks, just to confirm what is happening as they continue the descent. "Um..."

Supergirl has posed:
This girl must be really new to all this, Supergirl thinks. "The airport," she confirms with a smile. "Best place to set down a wounded airplane, right?" The updrafts are managed, and the plane is manuevered carefuly towards Metropolis International Airport. Trying to keep the other girl from panicing or getting upset, Supergirl tries to keep the conversation light as they descend. "My name's Kara," she says with a freindly smile. "What's yours?"

Gravitas has posed:
"Right. I didn't want to start pulling toward the airport when you were dragging us somewhere else though. I have the entire mass of the plane following me so it would've been kind of, um... Messy..." The girl trails off for a second then blinks a few times, nodding quickly. Once the plane is safely above the runway she takes a deep breath and lets go of the wreck. It does not, thankfully, abruptly in crease in weight as she does so. "...Gravitas. No, wait. Um. Victoria. Tori." The girl squeaks that last part out and then offers Kara a rather dazzling smile. Perfect teeth with a slight underbite. Given how colorful her appearance actually is (Blue 'Man of Tomorrow' hoodie, the unchanged purple skirt, blue sneakers, golden brown curls, caramel skin) the contrast is actually rather striking. Yes, she's new. There's no panicking as they land at least. "I'm sorry. I'm just not, um, used to working with. People. You. Anyone. Oh, wow... I mean. You're- well, you." A beat. "Stronger than I thought you were even." Where the nerves begin and the girl ends is probably unclear as she gestures animatedly with the spates of slightly squished words.

Supergirl has posed:
"I'm me," Supergirl confirms with a light laugh. "And in case you're forgetting, you're the one that's manipulating gravity, Gravitas." Yes, Kara use the superhero name, but she adds a 'your secret is safe' wink. "That's awesome and something that I can't do. So, you're one up on me there."

Slowly, the plane is brought in for a landing, meaning that Kara sets it down with nary a further bump. Supergirl slips out from under the plane, resting on it's landing gear, and flies up and over to Victoria. "Come on," she says. "Let's get you out of here before peole take pictures of you and plaster your secret identity all over the web."

Gravitas has posed:
"'Bumbling girl in Superman shirt nearly makes Supergirl crash plane," Tori responds to his, wrinkling her nose. But she's giggling rather than taking this statement to heart as she floats up into the air to join the taller, more visibly muscular girl in their traveling. "Okay.. Yeah, sounds great. Let's get out of here." Still smiling Victoria bobs energetically in the air. No one's going to get hurt by that, at least not at the moment. "Lead the way... Kara."

Supergirl has posed:
Supergirl nods to Victoria, still smiling, and starts flying up and then north up the coastline. It's a casual pace, not very fast, to make sure Victoria can keep up. "So, how long have you had your powers?" Kara asks the other girl. "I know how hard it is to suddenly have powers. I mean, I was a normal girl until I arrived on Earth and then, boom! I've got strength and can fly and all these other powers." She looks over to Victoria, smiling a bit. "And yes. I was totally scared of what I could suddenly do."

Gravitas has posed:
"I mean... A couple years. But I didn't know how- much- I could do. I was just focusing on not making my desk float away at school," Tori responds sheepishly. She tilts her head then, taking a deep breath as she flies along side Kara. the bobbing is just part of how she flies. Not quite straight. Tori doesn't point herself in a direction so much as fall in it, sometimes spiraling, sometimes moving straight. It is obviously physically independent of herself. "And I am still figuring out how much I can do." She returns that smilethen, floating next to Kara. "I must have looked like a complete idiot for a second there. Definitely my first time trying to stop a plane..." She says self-deprecating things casually and without any sense she's actually down on herwself over it.. Fact is fact, perhaps. "I'm terrified of what I can do," Tori admits then. "Because I don't know if there's even a limit yet. Um." She takes a deep breath. "You know, have you ever, like... Flown up to space?"

Supergirl has posed:
Supergirl nods. The fact is, Victoria did make a lot of mistakes. But it doesn't seem like she has any real guidance in her powers. And Rao knows what would have happened to Kara if Kal hadn't been around to help her adjust. "Well...how long have you been doing the whole hero thing?" She asks out of curiosity, rather than an accusation of Victoria's inexperience. "It's okay if you haven't been a hero for long. It shows that your heart and intentions are in the right place. But the first thing that Superman taught me was to analyze a situation before acting, to try and minimize any unintended consequences." She smiles at Victoria, to show she's not upset. "Do you have a mentor or a trainer helping you out?"

Gravitas has posed:
"Nope. I mean..." Tori trails off as she seems to be considering this for a long second. "I've been trying to do the hero thing for a couple of weeks," she finishes simply, shaking her head as she does so. "I've talked to one or two other people but no one does quite what I do. Or how. It's so- complicated. I mean, um, scientists are still figuring out the Three Body Problem. This is more like the two million body problem." She is watching the sky ahead of her thoughtfully for a long moment. "I didn't have another way off the plane and I didn't know if I could control it from the inside. So... Well." She shrugs slowly. "I'm just glad nobody got hurt. I need, like, an actual costume though so I stop looking like a Superman fangirl." A beat. "At least a Supergirl t-shirt or something." There's another of those bright smiles.

Supergirl has posed:
"There's nothing wrong with being a fan," Supergirl replies with a smile. "It means that you value what the person represents, and Superman represents quite a lot of noble ideals. It's good that you want to live up to the ideal. Just make sure you don't forget your own value as a hero." There's a bit of silence as kara hopes her words sink in to Victoria. "If you want help understanding and learning your powers, I know several people that could really help you out. There's a married pair of scientists at STAR Labs in Metropolis, Jeremiah and Eliza Danvers, hat SUperman and I trust and turn to for help from time to time. I could arrange for a meeting for you? And if you're looking for friends and companions, I'm part of a group of younger heroes called the Titans. We're still forming, but I'm sure you would be welcome to join. It would help you get experience, certainly. And yes, a costume would be a good idea if you'd like to have some quiet time to yourself without the world knowing who you are." Kara smiles a bit at the last point.

Gravitas has posed:
"I mean. I'm not too recognizable if I, err, keep hair down and stuff. But yeah .This isn't really going to work forever. I like the hoodie though. You know, 'Man of Steel' merchandise realy makes a quality product," Tori responds, blinking a few times as she does. "And I... Um. Wow. You think so? With you?" There's a beat as Tori considers this. "There's a girl who works with , um, SHIELD who was hoping I'd help her from time to time too. But they aren't- teaching me. I could probably manage doing both? Like. Travel isn't an issue." Now Tori is just beside Kara, drifting on a though. Her maneuverability is excellent, at least. Even if the flight is a touch erratic. "Eliza and Jeremiah Danvers? Okay! That would be great. Thanks!" She nods a couple of times. Slowly. "Thank you. I've been pretty... Lost, honesty. Sometimes I'm not sure I should land. Like, for safety reasons."

Supergirl has posed:
Supergirl slows the pace down, nodding at Victoria's statement. When they're hovering, Kara moves in and gives Tori a comforting hug. "Believe me, I know how that feels." After the hugs, Kara floats back a bit. "But you have to believe that you are stronger than your powers. You're in control of them, not the other way around. The more you get used to your powers, the more you spend in the company of people with powers...all thouse doubts and fears you're feeling start to fade away. I promise."

Gravitas has posed:
Tori returns the hug tightly. Very tightly. She's actually extremely strong when she relaxes... Kara might be the first person she's ever hugged at full strength. It's nowhere near enough to hurt Supergirl, after all. Then the oter girl floats back and Tori nods quickly a few times. "Yep. I'm going to get in frotn of this thing. I just need to practice somewhere safer. Like... The moon." She ponders this for a long moment. Then she adds rather shyly, her voice just a whisper between friends. "Okay. I trust you. But- yeah. Like I was saying. Have you been to, like, the moon or anything? Since you landed or whatever happened."

Supergirl has posed:
Kara smiles and resumes flying. "Well, I've been out into sapce. It's very calm and tranquil; although I don't recommend it unless you bring your own oxygen supply. Or can hold your breath for a really long time." She smiles wide. "But between the facilities at STAR Labs and the gym at Titans Tower, I'm sure you'll have plenty of oportunities to test yourself and see what your limits are. You don't need to go off into exile to learn your powers, I promise."

Gravitas has posed:
"...I'm not a complete idiot. I know I need oxygen, gosh." Tori laughs, apparently not actually offended but then she shakes her head a couple times. She takes a deep breath. The air around her wobbles and shimmers for a moment. "But... Great. You've been. Then you can help me out. Tranquil sounds good... We can still talk. I got it covered. So come on!" Tori actually reaches for Kara's hand, perhaps inexplicably. Whether she gets it or not... Gravitas is headed UP. Up through the atmosphere, past where the air is clear. Hey. She's pretty fast.

Supergirl has posed:
Curious, Supergirl follows Victoria. As the other girl speeds up, Kara smiles. "Good. Let's see how fast you can get, huh?" And then, Supergirl really pours on the speed, avoiding breaking the sound barrier so that the sonic boom doesn't hit Victoria right in the face. Becasue that would be rude.

Gravitas has posed:
Near the sound barrier? Sound barrier, broken. Twice over. Three times. If Kara keeps accelerating so does Tori. They are going to run out of sky before they run out of speed limits to break at this rate. Tori's effect is a visible ripple through the sky, leaving a cloud spinning and then splaying outward wildly as it parodies the Coriolis Effect behind her. And onward. Further. Faster. She isn't stopping within the atmosphere, that's for sure.

Supergirl has posed:
Supergirl lets Tori set the pace, nodding and smiling. "Good!" she says while there's still atmosphere to carry her voice. "Keep it up, but don't go all out. Test your limits but don't try to break them."

Gravitas has posed:
Tori continues to accelerate, faster and faster. She's long past broken any speed records for earth aircraft. Terminal velocity is smashed into so much kindling. Then they break into the uppermost atmosphere, entering into a planetary orbit. It isn't until the sky ahead is black that Tori finally sotps with a sudden jolt, holding in place as she stares up at the moon ahead and the stars far past it. She shifts toward Kara, extending an arm. Once the other is fairly close- just about hugging distance again, really- there's oxygen once more, held in a miniature atmosphere around the diminutive Gravitas. "...It's so pretty," she breathes. "Like you, even." A beat. "I mean... You know. I love your hair. Idon't know how i stays like that when you fly, even."

Supergirl has posed:
Supergirl marvels at the portable air bubble. "Impressive," she says with a smile. "Smart thinking, bringing along a bubble of air. But, just remember that there's no way to cylce the carbon dioxide. And even at my fastest, it takes about 30 minutes for me to get to the moon. Just be sure you don't run out of air between the travel and the training." The comment about her being pretty makes Kara blush a bit. "Ummm....thanks," she says. "And...my hair is just my hair. I...don't do anything special with it."

Gravitas has posed:
"You must have some kind of a personal bubble that keeps it from turning into a crazy mess at Mach 50 or something," Tori responds, giggling as she does. "And, I mean. Yep. My power is over gravity. More or less." Tori shrugs then, looking over toward the moon. Now she is starting to blush a bit as well, as what she said is sinking in. "Anyway. I can bring plenty of air. We need about eight liters of air per minute. So this ten foot diameter sphere of ours holds 14,826 liters of air meaning that we can breathe between us for about eight hours, I guess, before the CO2 gets high and closer to twelve before we suffocate," Tori responds helpfully, tilting her head as she does so. She seems to be considering this for a moment. "I have my own little atmosphere that follows me around. Like a gravity field around me that I can expand to contain other stuff." There's that smile again. Still blushing, though.

Supergirl has posed:
Supergirl smiles and shrugs. "To be honest, I just don't breathe when I go that fast. I mean, I can hold my breath for a couple hours, so it's not really a big deal. And yes, your science and calculations are spot on. Good job." Kara smiles wider. "Just remember that the more you exert, the more CO2 you'll expell. So those time limits aren't absolutes." Kara blushes a bit, remembering what Victoria had just said. "I hope I'm not being patornizing. SOmetimes I point out things that are obvious to me that I don't think are obvious to others. But I promise, I get better at not doing stuff like that the more time I spend with someone and get to know their capabilities."

Gravitas has posed:
"Little patronizing," Victoria responds, but then she's giggling and shaking her head, curls bouncing wildly when she does. So much for slicking them back. "It's good. Like, it's cute. I'm awkward and kind of a dork. You aren't going to know what I have actually throught through beforehand. Plus, I like it anyway. It fits you. You're crazy smart, so..." She bobs once. "Maybe we'll be able to talk a little easier when you get to know me better." She is scanning their surroundings again, wide-eyed and breathless, her youhtful face solemn. "Moon then. Thirty minutes sounds doable." She pauses for a moment. "Hope I didn't waylay your whole day dragging you up here?"

Supergirl has posed:
Supergirl shakes her head. "No, I was jst out enjoying the day. Heading to the moon is just as fine and flying around in Metorpolis." Kara sets course for the moon, steaily increasing in speed. "And it's funny that you call me 'smart'. On Krypton, I was considered to be about average intelligence and just went through the basic sicence programs. I was really more interested in being an artist like my mother, to tell the truth."

Gravitas has posed:
"Yeah, you're from a planet of nascent superheroes where everyone is an ubergenius by Earth standards," Tori responds, shrugging as hse does. "But I mean how you think about things. the way you tlak .You're smart. Art, science, whatever. Artsy people can be super smart." Tori shrugs at that. She easily keeps up with Kara's speed for nwo, letting the blonde set the pace so that they remain in the bubble and can continue to talk. "I guess I'm kind of smart? I don't feel like it when I am tryingto do the power thing. It's so- big." A soft laugh then. "Gravity is literallly everywhere. And I don't just see it. I feel it. It's like measuring things by looking at them with your eyes almost. I think there's more out there for me to use to measure by but... I dunno. It's right outside my reach someplace, I guess." Then she glances at Kara and shrugs again, slowly. "Tell me a little more about you? I keep going on about me. But I'd like to hear more anyhow."

Supergirl has posed:
Supergirl smiles, and says, "You're very smart. You knew enough to figure out how much oxygen you could carry with you and how long it would last. That's not exactly common among humans. And you're just unused to your powers. The more you experiment with them, the more you'll be used to them and things won't be so overwhelming. I can totally relate to the gravity sensing thing, though. I was fortunate Superman found me and took me away to get a handle on my powers, especially my hearing. It took time to learn how to down out ambient noise and not have simple sounds overwhelm me. You'll get the same thing too, in time." The request for more information gets an embarassed shrug from Supergirl. "Well, most everything is going to be printed soon in the Dialy Planet. I had an interview with Lois Lane a few days ago. But basically, it's the same as SUperman, except that I was older than him when Krypton exploded. I was sent off in a rocet as well, bound for Earth where the plan was that I would take care of Kal and raise him. But my rocket got knocked off course by Krypton's explosion, so it took me an extra 30 years or so to reach Earth. I just crashed here last summer."

Gravitas has posed:
Tori listens intently, nodding her head as she does so. She takes a deep breath, glancing briefly at the approaching moon while she considedrs everything Supergirl has to say. "I mean, maybe I just like listening to you speak," she teases gently, still smiling. "Beats a newspaper. This is nice." Tori shrugs at that and begiins humming to herself softly between sentences. "You can ask me about, well, me if you want to," she offers then. "Not a lot to say though.. I really just started the whole superhero thing. I'm studying Physics to keep up but I wanted to write. And talk philosophy. That kind of thing. Do you have a favourite book...?"

Supergirl has posed:
"I'm still working my way through high school english," Kara says with a little laugh. "But...Alice in Wonderland. A wrinkle in Time. I like those two the best so far. I've got to catch up on human culture and history, so I'm sort of taking my time with some things. I think it's more important for me to understand the history of Earth and how things came to be, and all the legal concepts. So, books and films and TV shows sort of all get lumped in the back together. How about you? What are your favorite books?"

Gravitas has posed:
"If you want to understand the history of earth you're going to want to read more books. Understand what people hoped and dreamed, how they think." Victoria shrugs at that but then she gives a slow nod, apparently considering something. "I just finished highschool so, um. I can help you with your English. If you want. Not that you need help, I just mean..." A beat. "I love a Wrinkle in Time. Oh my God, you have no idea!" She bobs exccitedly again, floating just a little bit closer. "But for my favourites? I like books like... 'The Pillars of the Earth' by Ken Follet. Historical fiction stuff. And, um. 'A Scanner Darkly' by Philip K. Dick? Things like that." There's a beat afterward and Tori adds, "Lots to learn, though. At least I've been here the whole time."

Supergirl has posed:
"I'll try those books," Kara says with a smile. "And I suppose it's all linked, history and literature and art. It's the facts of history that I think I need to learn quickly, but it's the art and literature that give context to those facts." She smiles and shrugs. "I'll work it out," Kara says happily. "I'm still getting used to movies. Rather entertaining. I especially love animation; that's something we didn't have on Krypton."

Gravitas has posed:
"They didn't have animation? At all? Okay, I am going to blow your mind. You have to come watch some stuff with me..." Tori speaks animatedly, bobbing and bopping to sometimes emphasize a point and gesturing with others. She talks quickly but coherently, going through a number of subjects in movies and animation, science- anything really, and offering opinions on Kara's thoughts. There's laughter and nodding, as well as the general assurance that Kara is the focus of Tori's attention. There's no one else... On the moon. Well, that's true. But she could also be the only person in the world. Eventually the pair are on the moon, standing hwere they can look outat the enormity of the Earth they'd left behind. At this point Tori's instincct is to stand prety close. Not too close; Kara is a fair amount taller than she is. Need to see.

Supergirl has posed:
All throughout the trip, Kara nods as Tori speaks. She stays silent to help conserve oxygen, but follows along. Occasionally, when propted for opinions, Kara offers them. And once they're standing on the moon, Kara looks out over the horizon to the panoramic view of Earth. Kara smiles at the sight, breaking the silence with, "It's amazing. So beautiful, but...it's so fragile as well." Her eyes are going to the spots on Earth where she sees polution is the worst, souring her thoughtful expression. "It's going to take a lot fo work to protect it."

Gravitas has posed:
"...Yeah. I thought about gathering up some of the pollution clouds and things but I wans't sure where to dump them," Tori responds quietly. She takes a deep breathand then exhales slowly. She isn't worried about oxygen conservation given the earlier numgbers. She smiles as Kara does and then glances up at her, a thoughtful frown quirking across her lips. "Thanks for helping. I mean. I know you live here too, but... Can certainly use it." She breathes another quiet sigh, tilting her head as she does. "Am I talking too much by the way?? Cause it's... Totally okay to ask me to quiet down."

Supergirl has posed:
"Talking is good," Supergirl says with a smile. "It's through communication that we learn from and about each other. It's how we bring people together and build a society." She looks at Tori again and smiles happily. "So, what did you want to do up here? Something you wanted to practice? Or did you just want a travel buddy in case something went wrong with the trip?"

Gravitas has posed:
"Oh, training would be cool. I am not sure quite yet though. Maybe tossing around big rocks and things. Stuff that might hurt people on earth," Tori considers thoughtfully for a long moment. "And yeah. Travel buddy. I knew it would work, I just... Hadn't left the atmosphere before. Just went to orbit for traveling..." she shrugs slightly. "It's nice to have someone around who can keep up. Anything you'd like to do since there are two of us?" She's still smiling, as brightly as can be. Tori has a nearly inexhaustible supply of energy, for a human.

Supergirl has posed:
Supergirl shakes her head. "Nope. This is your trip up here. I'm just happy to hang around. And we'll get you into some training back on Earth too, don't worry about that. A 2 hour commute for safe training isn't exactly something fun to do every day, you know?"

Gravitas has posed:
"Are you kidding? This IS my trip up here," Tori respoonds imemdiately. "This is amazing. Seeing all of this, having you up here with me- you could tell me I had twelve hours of chem homework to do while we were her e and I would still be about ready to do backflips." She does one, just because she can and laughs. "This is aMAZING. Thank you!" Then she blinks, flushing a faint red. "Anyway, um. Okay. So. Giant rocks then. I should probably throw them at you first? We all know you can toss around city busses. I mean. Let's see what we have around..." She manages to meander her way into retreating with a plausible reason for wandering off a short way. Blush and all.

Supergirl has posed:
Supergirl practices with Victoria for a while, pounding through large boulders that are tossed at her. Sometimes, Kara would toss rocks at Victoria to test her defenses. Soon enough, though, it's starting to push the safety limits of the oxygen bubble. So, the long trip back to Earth is taken. Along the way, Kara talks about the Titans, and the idea of being the 'next generation Justice League'.

Gravitas has posed:
Victoria proves quite strong. She catches and throws huge rocks with ease but when they get larger... She stops one particularly troublesome boulder simply by concentrating. As she explains it, the trouble is the level of focus. She has to be prepared. Or scared of being squashed, maybe. On their way back Tori listens as intently as Kara did on he way to the moon. There's a few questions but she is quite content to listen and nod, taking in everything Kara has to say about the Titans and their goals, as well as the members. She's very receptive.. It seems the hyperactivity doesn't obscure everything she does, at least. "Okay.... Awesome. And then the Danvers can help, you'd said? I'd love to meet them." She nods once, hard. "Thank you."

Supergirl has posed:
"Not a problem," Supergirl says. "Just pay it forward when you're the famous superhero and you encounter someone who's new and scared and trying to do the right thing. And rememebr to think things through before acting; that's one of the biggest skills a hero can have. Becasue it looks like you already have the courage and dedication for everything else."
