Synopsis: Summary needed
Cast of Characters: Starfire, Maxima

Starfire has posed:
Central Park. What a glorious place. Noonday sun, not a cloud in the sky. A woman is walking her pet. A... woman whose skin is... orange. With glowing green eyes. And a pet who... what... is... a... larva? Yes, apparently this alien babe has, on a leash, something that looks like an overgrown moth larva. "C'mon, Silkie!" she cajoles. "You can have another bite of the hot dog if you walk a bit more - you are getting a bit chubby!" She smiles - she's holdign a hot dog in one hand dripping with mustard, onions, relish, and sauerkraut. She is whisling happily as the larva scoots along a bit faster, motivated by the thought of food.

Maxima has posed:
"This park has a neat lil' path...look at it, Vex," Princess Maxima says, pointing at the cobbled pathway, "The trees are neatly enclosed, it's just unusual to me because--" she tells Vex, the shorter woman dressed in white. Vex nods boredly, obediently staying next to Maxima, "Yes, my lady...a wonderful collection of trees..." she says blandly, "Vex! They are wonderful," Maxima corrects her.

As Kori races past, Maxima steps in the mustard and slips on the pavement, but Vex steadies her because she's all fast and skilled and stuff. "Hey!" Maxima lets out in a disgruntled fashion.

Starfire has posed:
Koriand'r blinks as she hears the shout. She gathers up the Silkie and runs over. "Oh no, did you fall down?" she asks, blinking as in her distraction, the Silkie managed to snag her hotdog, chewing happily. "You seem to be the okay," she muses, tilting her head. "You are from Alderac?"

Maxima has posed:
Maxima looks down at herself, though her shoes have mustard on them from the hot dog incident <tm>, "Yes, I'm fine," she tells Koriand'r, then looks up at the woman. "It is nothing--What? Yes I am from Alderac," she says with an amazed blinkity blink, "You! Tamarian! Ha!" she lets out accusingly, "I knew it. Who are you?" she asks in a Sherlock Holmes manner.

Starfire has posed:
Koriand'r blinks. "Yes, I am from Tamaran..." She ponders, sighing softly. "I am Koriand'r." She looks hesitant. "I... would appreciate that informatino not leaving this world..." She suddenly sounds worried as she hesitates, squeezing the Silkie who gurgles in annoyance and drools on her arm.

Maxima has posed:
Maxima raises her chin pridefully, "Hmm yes, well you can trust me. I am the most trustworthy of my people. I am Maxima," she proclaims with a knowing smile, "What's wrong? Are you here exploring Earth too?" she wonders. Vex stands next to Maxima and watches Koriand'r closely, not saying much.

Starfire has posed:
Koriand'r shakes her head. "Hiding," she states, sighing softly. "It is good that you are trustworthy," she muses softly, glancing at Vex. "Who is your friend there?" She then blinks. "Oh - did you slip on mustard?" From my hot dog?"

Maxima has posed:
Vex seems not to trust Koriand'r as much as Maxima, "Yes, from...your...hot dog," she states in a vexxed way. "This is Vex, she looks out for me," Maxima states and smiles, "It's fine, I will just have to remove this ketchup from my shoes," she states amusedly, "But I've never removed ketchup from shoes before! Perhaps you know how?" she lets out.

Starfire has posed:
Koriand'r twitches. "It... is... mustard. Not ketchup." She sounds somewhat offended by the mischaracterization. "It should clean with a damp cloth if done so fast - it's possible that it might stain." She ponders. "But mustard is the most wonderful Earth food." She ponders. "Is she called Vex because she looks vexed? That is the emotion displayed, yes?"

Maxima has posed:
Vex crosses her arms and looks more vexxed, "Her purpose is to be attentive," Maxima states and looks amused at Koriand'r's characterization, "Don't be offended, Vex. You were not bred to be characterized in such a fashion. It's just amusing," she tells Vex. Vex hmmfs. Maxima then takes off one of her heels and tries to hand it to Kori, "Oh no, the mustard! Very well, you can get them back to me. I would have no hope of cleaning them to avoid stains," she explains. She takes the other cute looking heel off and holds them out for Kori.

Starfire has posed:
Koriand'r smiles as she flies over to the hotdog stand as quickly as she can, leaving a contrail of red flames behind her, as she gets some napkins and water and quickly gest to work getting the stain off, smilign as she winks at the hotdog stand person. She then returns the shoes to Maxima. "Just be glad they are not white shoes. NOt sure I could've got the stain out. I think they're all better. Oh, this is the Silkie!" she chirps, holding the critter out some for Maxima to pet if she chooses.

Maxima has posed:
Maxima eyes the creature peering at her, about to proclaim something really arrogant and snippity but she stops short, "What...? Maxima does not---!" she begins and then adds, "I mean, it is a fine pet...to be sure," she states while Vex eyes her suspiciously.

Maxima then leans over and peers at the job she's tricked Koriand'r into doing for her, "No I would not wear white shoes," she states and then takes the heels once Kori has completed her duties, "Good! Excellent job! Thank you," she says with a smile, wobbling a bit as she puts her heels back on her feet.

Starfire has posed:
Koriand'r nods slowly. "They are lovely shoes - it would be a shame if my carelessness caused their demise. Oh - so it doesn't happen again." She points at the mustard stain, and her finger glows green, and a narrow beam of light fires out, scorching the cement and incinerating the yellow stain. "I wouldn't step on that scorch mark for a few minutes..."

Maxima has posed:
Maxima peers downward at the scorch mark, "Quite a talent," she mutters, then smiles as she shoots her head back up to proclaim, "You must stop by the palace for more mustard," she tells Kori. "Penthouse," Vex corrects her. "Yes, I demand you stop by. You will, won't you? Perhaps we could discuss business! Yes, I have only a couple business contacts so far, but not a Tamaran," she muses.

Starfire has posed:
Koriand'r states, "Tamaranean. And... I am not in business. I am..." She hesitates. "A fugitive." She shrugs. "But I will step by your... penthouse palace. And... there are other foods I like beside just the mustard - it's just the yummiest. Though... I have noticed... that my tastes run contrary to those of this planet in food."

Maxima has posed:
Maxima hmms and rubs her chin as her lack of Earth knowledge shows again, "Good, perhaps you can teach me more about this place. I hate embarrassing myself. Very annoying," she mutters. "I have to get used to Earth food too," she says, thinking of more annoying things. She sighs, totally annoyed now. She then looks hopeful, "Do not worry, I will think of a way to help you too," she says assuredly, nodding her head, positive she could crush the enemies of Koriand'r. Vex looks worried.

Starfire has posed:
Koriand'r smiles faintly. "Well - shall we go to your penthouse palace then?" she asks softly. "After you." She wonders what this Maxima will use for transpoirtation - she can recognize her race - but little else. "Sadly, the best way for you to help me is to not tell anyone offworld about me."

Maxima has posed:
Maxima waves her hand as if dismissing Kori's fears, "Do not worry, no one can harm you when you're in my presence," she tells her, "But I will remit your...name from my logs if it helps," she says. "Bending the rules," Vex mutters. Maxima only smirks a little as she lifts off the ground and flies toward the penthouse like a bird, "This way! Vex, come on!". Vex sighs and walks back out of the park.

Starfire has posed:
Koriand'r flies upward along with Maxima and flies after her, keeping speed with her, her hair igniting, looking like a living flame, leaving a contrail of red light behind her.

Maxima has posed:
Maxima lands on the balcony and fiddles with the double windowed doors, entering the palace aka penthouse. Some of the Alderac handmaidens have left boxes about, "Excuse the mess. Since Power Boy suggested I live among the masses, I have not finished moving in," she explains to her. She motions Koriand'r to come inside.

Starfire has posed:
Koriand'r nods. "I've heard of Power Boy. Never met. I don't live in a place like this..." She smiles faintly. "You've seen that T-shaped tower out in the bay? That's my home." She hmmmmms softly as she walks in. "So... this is a lovely palace," she states. "I suppose that your bodyguard cannot fly?" she asks. "So what are you doing here?"

Maxima has posed:
Maxima glances at Koriand'r after she moves a box aside, "Yes, you should meet him--" she begins and then adds, "Fly? No, of course not. She's a handmaiden. I am Maxima," she says, motioning to herself and then pursing her lips because her explanations suck, "I am seeking the best of your planet. And advice from Superman, of course. Do you know him?"

Starfire has posed:
Koriand'r blinks. "The best of Tamaran? There isn't much left of my world..." She sighs softly. "It was razed. By Princess Komand'r. Jealous bitch." She is just petting the Silkie. "Why couldn't she have just been satisfied?" she mutters softly as she looks down at the Silkie. "She wasn't going to be queen, but she would've been highly honored..." She's muttering to herself, slipping between English and Tamaranean - perhaps something traumatic.

Maxima has posed:
Maxima twirls her red hair on her finger as Kori tells her lil story, "But you are here now. What will you do next? I have noted that other powerful heroes are here too. How unusual. You live with the most powerful superheroes?" she asks, "If only I could find Superman. I have so many more questions," she explains disappointedly.

Starfire has posed:
Koriand'r smiles faintly. "Well - I'm not with the Justice League. The Titans are... we are good. But not that good. I have yet to meet Superman, I apologize. I would suggest canvassing Metropolis - his adopted city... but why is it so important to see him?"

Maxima has posed:
Maxima waves her hand back and forth, "It's nothing," she tells Kori, "I will find him when I can," she explains. "Titans? You must be quite important to have a big building like that one."

Starfire has posed:
Koriand'r nods slowly. "It's not mine - they were the first ones who found me when I came here. The first one I touched to learn their language... they asked me to come with them and I did. Then I proved my worth."
