Alexa (285) has posed:
"You look radiant by the way," Alejandra murmurs, a bight smile on her lips as she looks Emma over from her place sitting across from her. It is lunch time, the middle of the afternoon, and they've found a quiet conference room to commandeer and avoid too many prying eyes, "It's good to see you. I'm looking forward to getting to meet some of the students..." Alejandra surveys the room briefly then turns her green eyes back to Emma's face, tilting her head as she does and gesturing with a fork.

Alexa, Leja to those who speak Spanish, is a full-figured owman in a pretty, sleeveless green dress that matches her eyes, bruentte tresses framing her relatively slender shoulders. Her mind is also well-defended against intrusion, much of the time. Still, she is an earnest, well-meaning sort as a rule, if rather bold. She is eating a cobb chicken salad at the moment. A gesture is made with the blue gem resting on her left index finger. The catalyst for a spell, though which specifically can't be told by this alone.

"I just hope I can help. I don't suppose you have a 'Defense Against the Dark Arts' class that somehow can't hold an instructor..." Alexa lifts her left eyebrow, mirth obvious in her eyes.

Emma Frost has posed:
"I feel radiant, that whole fiasco yesterday has left me feeling quite, regal." She says, lifting a bite of chicken and rice to her lips and savoring the flavor of a home cooked meal.

"I haven't started a class like that persay anyways, but you're certainly welcome to fill the position, but if you mystics start coming out of the wood works, I'll have to find some contest or wild plot device to decide who should teach what." The woman wearing a dark charcol pantsuit with a light grey blouse underneath and her hair done up in a tight bun with two numble two pencils holding her hair in that position.

Alexa (285) has posed:
Alejandra's head bobs slightly from left to right as if she is weighing the options across her shoulders. "This seems reasonable," she says of the contenst suggestion. "I would win, of course, but it's always good to confirm." That comes with a somewhat goofy grin that rather lessens the amount of ego such a statement seems to contain. Alejandra takes a deep breath then, looking Emma over briefly as she does so. The fork reurns to her salad.

"In all seriousness I was thinking of- Literature. English. Latin. Yes, magic too, if you have room for it. Defense against Darkness, all Harry Potter references aside, is an important thing to learn for people who have the strength to move mountains." She seems to be considering something. "I covered that Literature class yesterday and met Miss Roth. She seems to be quite the student. In her own way. Very talented young woman."

Emma Frost has posed:
"I think there are people that could even give you a run for your money." Emma says, thinking of a few students she knows that might be beyond Alejandra, but she doesn't say so, even with her facial features. The blonde can certainly keep a secret. "Seriously indeed, you better be my English, Latin, and magic teacher, that is what I'm trying to do here. I need people like you, able to handle the challenge of dealing with the most stubborn and dangerous children on the planet. We're going to change the world from within these walls." Emma says looking around the room, more than expectations on her face, something closer to hope and dreams, something the CEO rarely allows to slip through the cracks.

Alexa (285) has posed:
"There are a few but I wouldn't expect them here," Alejandra responds to Emma's statement in a slightly lofty way but she also nods. She is clearly open to the possibility she might lose, whatever her words are saying of her ego. The woman stabs another piece of chicken and takes a second to chew it carefully before she continues to speak. "We'll make this happen, Emmecita," Alejandra murmurs finally, tilting her head.

"I had something for you," the woman states abruptly, taking a deep breath and then reaching down under the table. She produces a small, simple box and slides it across the table. Inside is a violet stone in a simple gold setting. It could be put on a chain as a pendant, or even a ring. "In case you need me. Just remember that violet is the colour of dreams."

Emma Frost has posed:
Emma reaches out to put her hand on the box and opens it up slowly after setting her fork down and smiling up to Alejandra. "Oh, you are just too kind!" The White Queen says with a kind smile as she takes the pendant out of the box to examine it closely, she's not too big on jewelry most of the time, but she does wear pieces as the situation calls for, but at school, usually avoids it.

"Alejandra, you're too kind." Emma says and leaves a pause before her ice blue eyes lock onto Alexa, "You're not trying to bribe me, are you?" She says with a deadpan stare, impossible to tell if she's teasing or being totally serious.

Alexa (285) has posed:
"Bribe you?" Alejandra asks in a musing tone, her eyes twinkling with mischief. She studies Emma's features intently as she gives a slow nod. "I was thinking I might, yes," she confesses in a sof,t intimate voice. Leja shifts forward slightly in her seat now, reaching down gently brush her fingers down the dress and smooth her skirt to her legs.

The young teacher takes a deep breath, staring intently into those ice blue eyes for the space of three breaths. Then she continues with, "I want you to keep having lunch with me. At least once a week. I think we could both use time away from reality once in awhile."

Emma Frost has posed:
"Good think I'm not a cop. Bribes are welcome from my teachers, but I'll warn you that you're not the only one that has attempted to get on my good side with materialistic measures."

Emma smiles back up to Alexa, "I agree to your terms but, I am curious if you mean just lunch or do you have ulterior motives." Emma asks, brazenly and with a hink of a devious smirk and that odd twinkle in her eye that is either practiced for effect, or truely genuine, Alexa couldn't be sure.

Alexa (285) has posed:
"No ulterior motives. Yet," Alejandra replies, her gaze mirroring that mischievious look. Leja is the same way. Never quite betraying her true thoughts behind that kind face and upbeat manner. She stabs another piece of chicken for now. "It would all be very scandalous, wouldn't it? Dating your boss. Or an adult student." She laughs softly at this, taking another bite of her food now and falling silent so that she can chew it properly. Then she adds, "I enjoy your company, as it turns out."
