Salmon Fishing in the Celestial's Head
Date of Scene: 08 April 2018
Location: Knowhere
Synopsis: It's all about the Green Ball, just like in Heavy Metal, except less violence and nudity
Cast of Characters: Star-Lord, Beryl, Green Lantern (Jordan), Crusader, Adam Warlock, Angela, Power Girl

Star-Lord has posed:
So, Peter Quill was having a good day, and it was about to get better. He had a pile of hexagonal chips, stacked one on top of the other. There were white ones, purple ones, yellow ones, red ones, black ones, blue ones. It was a rainbow of colours. But he had a lot of those white ones. Like, tons of them. So many chips.

He was at the Casino on Knowhere, leaning over a felt lined table. He clutched his hands together, blowing air into them, "come on baby, Star-Lord needs a new pair of shoes." Someone nearby asks, "what's a star lord?" And the look Peter gives him is a mixture of pain, sadness, and embarrassment. Finally, he resigns himself and explains, "I am." And then he tossed out what looked like a four sided dice and two 10 sided dice, though there were symbols on them, rather than human numbers.

When the numbers came up, everyone around him began to cheer. He had won, and when he won, the table won. Seeing the chips being shoved towards him, his eyes went wide, "oh yeah, come to Star-Lord..." And across the table, one man turned to a woman and whispered, "what's a star lord?"

Beryl has posed:
An unstable hyperspace window forms in the vicinity of Knowhere and a tiny green ship emerges, spinning out of control, the engines flickering then going out. It is a TINY thing, barely ten feet long, made of green metal. There are a few words on it in an alien script, and it now appears to just be adrift. It could even be mistaken for a missle at first except there's no weapon systems on it. It used all its remaining energy to get to near civilization - and then starts emitting a general distress signal, again in an alien language. (The writing and language is Coluan, but they're rather far from this location...) There is low power signatures - obvious hull damage, and no sign of life-support - but no life form could fit in something that tiny anyway.

Green Lantern (Jordan) has posed:
Hovering towards Knowehere was Green Lantern, the GL of Sector 2814. This had been on his trip back from Oa, back to Earth, and on a whim had decided to check in. After all, it had been several months since he had been in the neighbourhood. Before he can enter the facility, if it could be called that, he gets a strange signal amplified by his ring. Stopping his forward momentum, Hal takes a moment, and looks down at his ring. "Ring, identify that signal."

*Distress signal, originating from 214 mark 27. Language of Origin - Coluan*. Hal pauses, and frowns. "Interesting." With a touch of his willpower, Hal pulls up, and then streaks towards where it came from.

Crusader has posed:
The one good thing about space? If your from a backwater planet like Earth, folks do not tend to recognize you, if they are from space. And very few folks from earth go too space. It was perfect! And to this end, Bjorn (the mans' civilian form) is once again in space. His ship the StarPiecer was not parked too far away as he made his way to the casiono table where starlord was. Getting credits can be difficult sometimes after all
Though his ship is able to pick up the distress signal - Bjorn was not quite aware of it yet. Some of the systems were still being worked on, and it might take him a few moments if it all to get the signal.

Adam Warlock has posed:
Adam was actually looking for Quill....and he knew exactly where to find him. After encountering Peter Quill, AKA Star Lord in the gambling den (of course that's where he was. It was either the bars or here) Adam approaches the captain of the Guardians, wearing his robes of the mystic, hood over his head and Karmic Staff in his hand. "Peter Quill. It appears you've been on quite the winning streak. Though do you not think that perhaps we should see if there are any jobs we should undertake?" he asks the fellow curiously.

Before he -feels- that Coluan ship arrive, and because Adam has a ridiculous amount of xenolinguistic knowledge and through use of magic, he understands the language that the ship is transmitting. "Very curious. What is a ship of Coluan origin doing in this section of the galaxy?" he asks curiiously to mainly himself, starting to float over to the ship...only to encounter the Green Lantern Hal Jordon.

"Greetings." he says to Hal with a soft smile, looking then forward back to the ship.

However, he doesn't quite notice Crusader yet.

Star-Lord has posed:
Star-Lord was unaware of the distress signal. Knowhere was uncharacteristically good about responding to them, since everyone out here knew that they were on their own. This wasn't part of the Nova Empire, or the Shi'ar Imperium, or even the Triceraton Republic. This was Knowhere. Anything goes. It strangely helped to create a sense of community and camaraderie. They were scoundrels, but they were each other's scoundrels.

In truth, Star-Lord did get a beep from his wrist communicator, but he missed the chime with the background noise from the casino. "The first eighty thousand units is for what we owe Mr. Blk'ntra'nak." He gestured to a section of his chips. He'd actually bet everything he had on the table. But he had segmented them into piles. He held out the dice to Warlock, "blow," instructing him to blow on the dice. "The next twenty-five thousand is for Gam Metropistac, and the rest is profit," now that the dice had been blown on, he said, "pure, unadulterated... profit." And he lost. He lost it all.

His face dropped. He now had to come up with a hundred and five thousand units, just to pay his debts. When he had more than hundred thousand units in profit on the table, just moments ago. It was very dejecting. The crowd groaned as others lost, but none more than Star-Lord. "Coluan? Hey, Coluans are supposed to be super smart right," his voice dropped to a near whisper, "like card counting smart?"

Beryl has posed:
The tiny ship tried to re-engage its engines, but it couldnt' manage. The distress call is fading rapidly, the ship's engines shutting down, and all systems with it. There are no life-signs aboard - but a strange, separate computer signal within the ship. It is simply adrift now; if not helped, soon itwould just be a piece of space debris, lost. Two running lights are still lit, but they are starting to fade too...

Green Lantern (Jordan) has posed:
Pulling up beside the ship, Hal looks over at the other person, also floating there. Blinking, Hal takes a moment before realiseing he heard that. Using his ring to communicate, Green Lantern says, "Greeting." To Adam Warlock. Then, a "Do you know what is going on?" Hal's eyes go from the floating being to the ship. "Not picking up anything hostile...not yet anyway."

Looking at the ship, Hal scans it with his ring. Placing an emerald force field around the craft, Hal says to Adam, "Looks like she's in trouble. Having issues picking up life forms, but I think we should take her to Knowhere...concur?" With a nod, Hal begins to move the ship to the station with his will, and the power of the Green Lantern ring.

Crusader has posed:
Bjorn gives pause as his ship finally manages to get to him that there was indeed a distressed signal comming in. He Patches in through his ship to the out going signal. He was able to sense the various fading signals...but they seemed odd to him.
He had gotten close enough to hear Star-Lord ask about Coluans being smart in which case he replies "If you take a supersmart human and compared them to the dumbest coluan, they would still be smarter" comes his deep voice. "And it seems such a Coulan ship is in trouble" He blinks as Adam seemed to have dissappeared from the casiono - teleportation tech perhaps. But you don't see it everyday
None the less he turns and heads back out of the Casiono and looks to the sky. Considering the distance. It wasn't too difficult to pick out, what seemed to be a green light in the sky. As before he taps into his ship systems and uses it in place of his own sensors...and spies none othe than Hal...and the man who had just dissappeared. Along with...a ship it seems. He stays put and seems to monitor the situation for now.

Adam Warlock has posed:
No, Adam does not blow on the dice as Peter Quill offers it, though he does shake his head to Quill. "I know not. But perhaps you could ask?" he smiles to Peter before he ends up flying to the craft. Seeing Hal Jordon, he nods to the Green Lantern before he looks back to the vessel. "I would advise this, yes." and he looks prepared to use his powers, but Hal manages easily enough without his help. But what he -does- do, is follow.

Keeping at the same pace as the Green Lantern, he eventually sees Crusader and gives the fellow a small wave. Either way, he is more focused on the Coluan apparently trapped inside this failing vehicle. Once Hal puts the ship down?

With a single gesture of his hands, the door will almost melt open as the matter keeping it together is clearly separated, a magic circle around one of Adam's hands. "You can come out now...it's safe."

Star-Lord has posed:
With Warlock floating off, Quill is forced to call out, "hey, Adam, hey, where ya going?" And then he finally noticed the blinking on his wrist communicator, which he'll check. Some kind of distress signal. Now's as good a time as any, so he heads out of the casino in a hurry. Of course, his haste had absolutely nothing to do with the two large men heading his way, possibly in the employ of Gam Metropistac, but more likely Mr. Blk'ntra'nak's men. If you can call them men. Quill wasn't really sure if their species even had gender, and he wasn't planning on sticking around long enough to find out.

After passing through the casino doors, he made a mad dash, running, not walking, but actually sprinting towards the Milano. It was still being given a was from Alk's Hand Ship Wash, but Quill was in a hurry, "thanks guys, but I'll take it from here." He ran up the steps and began powering the darned thing up even as the washers scattered while saying, "you gotta pay us!" But Quill, more to himself than them, since they couldn't hear through the Milano's walls, "hey, I got my ship washed nine times and the tenth one's supposed to be free."

Beryl has posed:
When the ship is opened - it is COMICALLY small, not even room for a person, what one would find... is a glowing baseball-sized device, with green lights flickering on it - though one quadrant of the sphere is badly damaged. The other thing inside is a vast quantity of metal - a quarter-ton of titanium in small pieces spread around the Core. Once opened, the core starts to beep, in a trinary machine code. (Those who can understand it will get 'Where am I? Who are you? And... who am I? I... I don't remember!') The complex beeping is getting more panicked as that final realization sets in. (There are no life-signs aboard - just that spherical computer core, a bunch of metal ingots, and an interface to the ship's computer.

Inspection of the rocket itself would reveal some severe damage. It doesn't look like weapons fire - some kind of spacial anomaly like an ion storm. The little ship just couldn't take it.

Green Lantern (Jordan) has posed:
Putting the ship down after heading towards the station, Green Lantern floats to the ground, and after the atmosphere settles around them, let's his shield drop. Placing his hands on his hips, he looks around, and waits for Knowhere's ship authority to send someone to take care of this lost traveller.

"Umm. Anyone?" Hal says, watching as Adam and Peter do their thing, watches as Adam waves to Crusader, and then sees the door melt. "Not bad..." Hal says under his breath. Finally, Hal watches Quill carefully, just in case.

The damage to the rocket is quite severe. Inside...well, inside was interesting. "Huh." Hal says, as he regards the inner workings of the ship with a quizzical expression.

Crusader has posed:
Bjorn makes his way over to where Adam, Hal and the ship was. He had quickly heard Minoke beeping luckily. Good thing about being part machine himself. Though he speaks normally - he also emits a signal Minoke should be able to understand "Your in Garnet Knowhere, sector 17. Bjorn is my name...this one" he gestures to Green Lantner "Is Green Lantern...no idea who the other fello is" he gestures to Adam at that point" he settles a moment "No idea who you are...but you seem to be Coulan" he offers thelittle ship
He whistles as he looks to the damage inside the rocket."Looks like yer ship got badly damaged" he looks to the others and says to them "...oh. Not sure if yer folks realize this. But..." point to th little sphere "Sentient A.I" he tells them, unsure if they recognize this facet of things

Adam Warlock has posed:
Adam approaches the ship as soon as the door opens and the traveler is revealed. His head tilted a moment at Hal Jordan, he eventually nods softly, and lifts a hand, as if to silently say that he can do this. He approaches Minoke, looking like a wizard who's welcoming home the lost hero. He speaks the Coluan language perfectly and without flaw.

'Hello. It appears that your ship is in critical condition. You've come a long way. My name is Adam. Adam Warlock. Unfortunately, I cannot answer who you are. Only that you are a Coluan, a species known for their high intelligence." he smiles softly then, extending a hand to Minoke as if to guide the being out of the pod.

'it is alright...I will help you, if I can. You are on Nowhere. A kind of space station.'

Angela has posed:
Angela is down below in the Milano when the ship powers up. Hey, someone needs to stay aboard to look after things, right? And sometimes Angela doesn't trust anyone except herself. By the time the ship lurches off of the pad she's making her way more quickly towards the cockpit.

For the Milano to take off so quickly can only mean one thing: it's just been stolen.

With a golden axe in each hand, ribbons writhing like serpents around her, Angela advances into the cockpit with eyes beginning to tinge red. Then she sees Quill. Axes lower and her eyes fade to their normal white.

"Peter Quill. Has our business here concluded in a satisfactory manner?"

Star-Lord has posed:
The Milano rose quickly and without much grace, well, a little grace, the Milano was a graceful ship. She always had a little grace. But it was bumpy and very abrupt lift off. Quill had caused quite a bit of consternation from their resident Asgardian, and he nearly got an axe to the neck for his troubles.

"Oh, uh, you're here." He was so surprised he was kind of processing it verbally, looking her up and down, "right, yeah, there was a distress call." Yep, he wasn't running from creditors, he was running to try and save somebody. "We're going to render assistance, since Knowhere doesn't have a port authority, or... you know, authority of any kind."

Beryl has posed:
Minoke's core just sits there. "I... I think my ship's broken... I... I need help..." She spins slowly in the cradle shaped for the core. "I... I can't get to the metal pieces below me... it's... my body. Or will be..." To those who don't undrestand Coluan machine code, it just sounds like... R2-D2 having a panic attack as it spins more rapidly. "Help me... please.... just... need to get to the metal below me..."

Green Lantern (Jordan) has posed:
Raising his hands, Hal Jordan steps back, and lets Adam and Crusader in to do the work. Enjoying not being at the centre of the issues, Hal smiles, crosses his arms, and makes sure that the danger to the ship, and to the people of the station were good to go.

Noting that the being who met him out in space was Adam Warlock, Hal watches as the two attempt to help in any way they can. Looking over at the side of the area, Hal notes Angela's arrival, as well as Peter Quill's, and nods to each in turn.

Crusader has posed:
Bjorn hmmms "Relax, it is fine" he muses simply. He nods to Hal when the man steps back....and suddenly makes a note in his head to try and avoid Hal seeing him on earth, doesn't need folks knowing his secret civilian form after all
Bjorn reaches in with his large mitt and gently picks the ball up with two fingers and sets it on the side - free from the cradle it appeared to be stuck in. Though reching the metal in such a small ship....yea he didn't want to damage it by accident so he lets Adam take care of that part.

Adam Warlock has posed:
Adam gives a small nod then to Minoke, looking to the others. "The Coluan in this shuttle apparently suffered an extreme amount of trauma. They know not who they are. But..Perhaps I can help. If they can get to the metal in the ship." He takes a breath then, nodding softly to Minoke then to Crusader and Hal, he takes a breath and extends his hand softly, using his magic to -rearrange- the ship itself while keeping Minoke in a comfortable and advantageous position.

Though it's clear he's attempting to remain focused, shifting the ship itself in an effort to make the metal easier for the Coluan to attain...for even he knows that only a Coluan will know what to do with it. 'I will help you' Adam tells Minoke then, helping as much as he can with such concentrated precision use of magic.

Angela has posed:
Angela's golden blades *flow* from axes into a pair of short, slender scimitars that are casually slipped into her wide belt. Stepping closer, she rests one elbow on the back of the pilot's seat as she looks out through the canopy. Since the Milano is already underway and is already following the distress call, there's not a lot to be gained by her chasing it personally.

So she watches as Quill flies the ship, offering. "Tell me when we are close and I will be ready at the airlock." the Angel declares.

Star-Lord has posed:
That was usually Quill's job, to be the one who went out the airlock. He liked going out of the airlock. It really all depended on what was going on. If they needed someone to pilot the ship while escaping, he wanted to be in control, so did Rocket, but Rocket wasn't Quill. If they were saving people, shooting people, especially those who were really bad and couldn't defend themselves and had a reward for being found dead, but not alive, he liked doing that. Sadly, it was rare that any reward was made for someone who was really bad, and only for them being found dead, but not alive.

If he hadn't already jostled Angela in the lift off, and he weren't you know, afraid of her, he'd have put up more of a fight, but no, instead, he just says, "By Crum, it will be done. You just be ready in your Red Sonja outfit." And shortly thereafter, he was in position to let her out. Watching out of the window, he muttered to himself, forgetting that he was speaking on an open channel, "I always wanted to be a ProStar, but how come I have to be Gretzky?"

Beryl has posed:
Minoke's core was set down in that pile of metal bits due to the kindness of Crusader and Warlock. Once there, the core beeeps and... something even stranger happens. The metal starts to dissolve into a green goo and starts to surround the core. As it does, it extends a tendril to the other half of the metal bits and that gets absorbed too. (Those who can tell what's going on will see that the metal's being broken down into some kind of nanites). This is a slow process, as it would look very strange inside.

Green Lantern (Jordan) has posed:
"Not sure if anyone else needs to help, but I am always willing to be there, with the Justice League's help, to see this through." Hal Jordan uses his ring to call in any JL help. "Green Lantern calling the JL. If anyone is available to assist at Knowhere, please respond." Sending that off, Hal nods. Looking at everyone present, Hal says, "I may need to go, but I have friends who can help if needed." With that, Green Lantern hovers for a few moments, and then head out, with an emerald flash.

Crusader has posed:
Ironicly, another Leager was already there, incognito, but Bjorn doesn't voice as such. None the less Bjorn stays behind and watches the odd strucutre, snesing what was going on, but simply wathes, not wanting to disturb the droid or Adam at the moment

Adam Warlock has posed:
After Adam makes sure everything is set and ready for the Coluan, he stands back and watches the process, he advises everyone else, making sure Peter was listening. "Be advised, you may join us on ground level, but do not interfere with the Coluan." He says then with his eyes ever forward, whispering softly.

"you can do it." he says in COluan. "Take your time."

Angela has posed:
Angela completely misses the 'Red Sonja' reference. Then again, she either misses or misinterprets a good number of Quill's Midgardian metaphors. As the Milano slows she heads towards the airlock in naught but her golden armor, brief though it may be.

"Even with the All-Speak I sometimes cannot understand you, Peter Quill." she offers along the way. Then she cycles the airlock and flies out and just hovers. Watching.

Power Girl has posed:
Power Girl is floating, for a moment, in the upper atmosphere of Earth. She takes in this deep breath of the thin-air on the edge of the world's grasp, her arms folded- basking, clearly, in the rays of the sun, the orb below her spinning freely, without her intervention, just for these few seconds.

The silent moment is broken by a voice, bounced off of the Lantern's interstellar comm system and then echoed through the more terrestrial JL systems, Hal's call reaches the ears of a blonde on the very tip of the atmosphere.

She quietly, and slowly, drifts forward perhaps... Ten, fifteen feet further away from the pale blue of her home- and then, just like that, she begins to accelerate.

It takes her an impossibly, horrifically inconsequential amount of time to arrive on the spot that Hal had called. Without a ship, without even a suit to surround her sunkissed skin aside from the white outfit she always uses, Hal is barely even gone before the blonde arrives.

It takes her a moment to get who the players here are- even though she recognizes the Milano from the only other time she's visited Knowhere. She had to decelerate from some ridiculous multiple of Light+ in order to slip through the docking bay's barriers, and very soon, she's floating towards the rocket.

"Got a call. Can't say I'm entirely sure what's going on."

Star-Lord has posed:
The Milky Way Galaxy was a funny place. 100,000 light years across, and people could travel most of that distance in seconds. It always amazed Quill what some people, kaleidoscope of Lantern Corps, the Nova Corps, even civilisations that didn't band to form corps. But Quill, he was as far as he knew, just a guy, trying to earn an honest living, doing his thing. He had just dropped off an Asgardian god, and now some woman appeared. Speaking into his communications unit, he said, "Adam, Angela, heads up, She-Ra's just showed up, and she's packing..." Whatever he was about to say was probably cut off by some virus that Gamora probably paid Rocket to install into Quill's communications unit.

Beryl has posed:
The glowing show ends with one finale as the glowing shimmering green ooze emerges from the hole that Warlock punched in the rocket... and forms into a humanoid shape standing by the tiny rocket. A green-skinned woman with red hair, glowing green eyes, and some device attached to her forehead that kinda looked like an artificial third eye. She gazes at everyone present, tilting her head. She tries opening her mouth to talk but nothing intelligile comes out - it's garbled static as she closes her mouth quickly, emitting a soft beep of panic. Is she... unable to speak?" She looks down, trying to figure it out, her head shimmering a bit.

Crusader has posed:
Bjorn looks up and sees Power Girl of all people! On most days he would greet folks he knew...but for the shake of his secret ID, he makes pretend he doesn't know her at all. Merely offer a wave before looking at the...now formed humanoid. "Hmmmm. Nanites...but no voice yet" he muses and looks to Adam, Power Girl and the Milono. He was unable to hack into the communicators from where he was yet, so his question doesn't go through to the people onboard the ship "Anyone have a communicator? Perhaps she needs one to talk?" he suggests

Adam Warlock has posed:
Adam watches Minoke as she forms her body. Coluans are fascinating creatures, to be certain. He stands back then, before he looks to Bjorn. "She must learn to solve it on her own. Give it a moment." he advises Crusader, watching Minoke with that comforting smile that offers a silent 'you can do it'.

Then his attention is on Power Girl. "Hello stranger. Do join us...we are helping a COluan find itself." he smiles in a friendly manner, before his eyes are back on Minoke.

Angela has posed:
Angela turns when the blonde in the red cape suddenly arrives. The Angel rests a hand on the hilt of her sword, making a mental note to look up She-Ra on the Milano's computer at her next opportunity. Speaking into the comm unit, she finishes Peter's thought. "Yes, she most certainly is at that."

But before Angela decides to do anything more menacing than stare, Warlock greets the newest arrival rather amiably. A small nod of acknowledgement is given, with one hand on the sword hilt. Then she turns her attention to the newly-formed Coluan.

Power Girl has posed:
There is a... Tension, visible in Power Girl as she watches Minoke form. It doubles down on itself as Adam introduces the person they're helping, well, put itself together. The tone of her voice borders on unfriendly- but anyone with a knowledge of Earthly heroes (specifically the Earthly heroes that can fly and shoot lasers out of their eyes) would be aware of why this particular one would be taking such a tone.

    "Which Coluan?"

It's a simple question, but an important one. After all, spanning the Milky Way, there is a specific entity that draws a certain kind of reaction- and appearing like this, this way? Really isn't even remotely outside of -that- Coluan's repertoire.

An angry Kryptonian is in any knowledgable individual's Top Ten Unwanted Things list, but she doesn't seem quite at that level just yet- though, clearly, there is distrust- and the answer to her question is the determinant in what that distrust and apprehension beget.

Star-Lord has posed:
With everyone descending to the ground, Quill pilots the Milano. He thought about collecting Angela, but she can fly under her own power, so, why bother. Besides, with her outside, there was less chance of her complaining about his landing procedure like the way she did his take off earlier.

He followed the group, setting down in a nice, quiet, and easy to take off area, just outside of the group. He was careful not to let the ship potentially get trapped. Once down, he made sure to grab a few extra energy packs, just in case, and came down the loading ramp.

And as much as he'd love to join that tension, because he really did feel like getting killed today, for once in his life, he keeps pretty quiet. He looks down, not making eye contact, but keeping people in his peripheral vision. He reaches up with one hand to scratch the back of his head, and does everything he can to not be noticeable, which sadly for Quill, means he's probably drawing a lot of attention from those little things, like how he whistles... the Jeopardy theme.

Beryl has posed:
Minoke frowns as she hears the tension from Power Girl, as she gazes at the Kryptonian, looking worried and confused. She frowns as she turns back to her ship as a small panel opens which she lays her hand on. She tries to talk again but only horrible static comes out. She sighs as she just stands there, then nods. Her throat shimmers into green goo and reforms. Then, a rough voice comes out, vaguely feminine to match her form. "Can... you... understand me?" she asks, each word being enuciated slowly, in the Coluan language. "I... think... I... can... speak... now..." She coughs, and shakes her head. "Need... energy... tired..."

Crusader has posed:
Bjorn takes Adam advice and waits. ANd behold, Minoke does indeed begin talking - although Coluan itself is not a language he actually knows, or his own translator has. Machine he can do - intergaltic languages were a bit harder
But none the less he decides to let Adam wok this out before glancing to Power Girl. Yea he knew about Coulans and Kryptonians but he decides not to voice anything yet. As Angela comes down, he gives her a wave, before than looking to Star-Lord who despite all his efforts made himself all the more notcible. Hearing Jeopardy...Bjorn actually begins to whistle pokemon in response to. Because cartoons are better than gameshows!

Adam Warlock has posed:
Adam smiles softly to the Coluan as 'she' manages to find her voice and speak softly in her own native language. Thoug hPower Girl gets a small look from Adam, it's not hostile, only a hand given as if to invite her to his side. After all, she seemed to show tension, and he wanted to show her that there was none to be found.

Given, he don't know her story.

He looks then to Angela, giving a warm smile to his fellow Guardian and a bow of his head to her. Though his attention is ultimately on Minoke, replying in Coluan.

"You require sustenance? Is there a particular energy that you need?" he asks then. He's not an expert on Coluans.

Angela has posed:
When Angela can't understand the static it's not a good sign. She nods at the results of the reforming, looking as though she approves the results. Then people begin whistling and her brows knit in response. She likes Quill's music, for the most part, but Angela is pretty sure she hasn't heard this before.

The muscular wave gets a return wave of her own, and Angela almost smiles. At least it's not her customary grimmace. All the same, everything seems to be in hand, now. "Peter Quill, it looks like the emergency has passed." And with that, she moves to stand closer to him.

Power Girl has posed:
Power Girl is at the moment as stoic as she can be. However, there's only so calm and poise that she can present- without the rest being, obviously, an intense level of apprehension. She knows that there are Coluans that aren't self-named Brainiac. She knows that they exist and she's even seen a few... But she hasn't really properly -met- them, and despite that knowledge, she's still worried that -this- Coluan might be another ruse, attempting to preserve the unique thing known as Knowhere.

"I don't understand what it's saying," she offers, eventually, "Can you traanslate?"

Star-Lord has posed:
With the emergency passed, Angela heads over to Quill, who speaks quietly with her, trying not to be a distraction. The Pokemon whistling does illicit a smile, and replies briefly with a whistle of Chip and Dale's Rescue Rangers theme song.

But then, he spots one of Mr. Blk'ntra'nak's men nearby, and ducks his head, gesturing to Angela, "'yo Angela, have you seen this part of Knowhere?" And doing his best fake accent, this one sounds like Tony Danza, and he'll quietly lead her away from the festivities, and the man he currently owes 85,000 units to. Yeah, it was tough being a legendary outlaw.

Beryl has posed:
Minoke just slumps down. "Think... my ship... got damaged... I..." She whimpers. "I... don't know who I am... I... know a name. Minoke. That's it." She then states, "Low on power... electricity... or something similar..." She watches STar-Lord and Angela leave. "I think... the woman in white doesn't like me..." She looks nerviously at Power Girl. She doesn't undrstand what language she was speaking but can tell that there's something wrong. "Did I do... something wrong?"

Crusader has posed:
Bjorn for now just keeps whistling his tune. When the men get near - he points them in the opposite way that StarLord went. But for now he merely looks to Minoke, Adam and Power Girl as he had no idea what was being said at the moment.

Adam Warlock has posed:
Adam smiles softly then to Power Girl, giving her a nod as she joined him. "Of course." then his eyes returned to Minoke while maintaining full awareness that Star-Lord and Angela went to deal with another crisis. His eyes remain ever forward as he listens. "She says that her ship was damaged. She has no recollection of who she is aside from remembering a single name: Minoke. She is low on power, and requires electricity or a similar power source."

He translated that for the whole group.

That said, Adam lifts a hand. "I can provide you with a small amount of energy to help power your systems." he says in Coluan as he approaches, reaching with a single hand. "Touch my hand, please." Minoke could see that some kind of electricity, likely caused by magic, danced between his fingers and hand.

Power Girl has posed:
Power Girl's response to that information is relatively simple. She slips her arms up, folding them quietly, and starting to rise into the air. "I'll take her word for it."

As she slips back and towards the barriers of the station, she is watching Minoke, taking a moment to memorize the face and body structure that the Coluan had taken during this meeting. She's suspicious- but at the same time, she's taking a page out of Clark's book. Better to trust, for now.

"Good luck." she says, sincerely, to both Adam and Minoke, before she's out of the barrier- and as if a shooting star, she is simply -gone.-

Beryl has posed:
Minoke just watches Power Girl leave as she clings to Warlock's hand. As she does, the electricity dancing across his fingers is ABSORBED into the nanocolony construct, and she would feed on as much juice as he can produce as she sighs, her eyes glowing brighter. "Thank you. Ummmm.... I should know all these languages but I can't remember... what happened to me?"

Crusader has posed:
Bjorn grunts and says "If she needs more than you can provide, Bjorn can provide it in spades" he tells Adam. He looks over Minoke as she continues to speak Coulan. Hopefully they will get her to spea other languages soon. But for now he looks to the sky as he sees Power Girl take off. ALl well that ends well

Adam Warlock has posed:
Adam nods softly to Power Girl as she jets off into the night sky. "....Kryptonian? I thought they had died out...it is good to see life finding a way." Then his eyes shift to Mionke as she absorbs what she could take, happy to see her starting to lok alive. He speaks in her native language. "I may be able to assist wit hthat. Though Coluan minds are incredibly complex, I may be able to assist you. Your shuttlecraft was damaged, and in need of serious repair. I pray you weren't attacked on the way. In the meantime, I can help you learn a vast multitude of xenolingualism." a warm smile for her before he turns to Crusader. "Hello my friend. I will assist her in speaking other languages soon that you may understand what she's saying. Though if you can provide power, please do so." a kindness then in his tone before those warm eyes find Minoke. "My name is Adam. Adam Warlock." he says in Coluan once more. "It is nice to meet you Minoke."

Beryl has posed:
Minoke sighs happily, perking up. "Am I Coluan?" she asks, tilting her head. That word obviously has no meaning to her. "Learning other languages would be good - that angry woman in white... she didn't like me..." She sighs softly. "Thank you for.... feeding me. I... I don't know what happened... but my ship was supposed to keep me fully charged..." She then gives Adam a hug. She glances at Bjorn, smiling, aware that he can't understand her.

Crusader has posed:
Sure, Bjorn couln't understand Minoke, but Adam was no problem. He nods to Adam "Alright, yer handle the language...Bjorn got the power" he rubs his hands togeather "....Ermm...Little Man best sep back" he says before looking to Minoke "Time ta Power Up!" he exclaims, and lightening seems to just dance among Bjorn body - yea he was jammed pack full of energy. None the less this energy was like a Tesla Coil - able to power machinery without actually touching it. Hopefully this princople applies to this nanodoid...and if not, well a good shock of lightning should do the trick.

Adam Warlock has posed:
Adam is slightly surprised when Minoke hugs him nice and tight. He does wrap one of his arms around her with a soft smile. "It is my pleasure, Minoke. I assume the woman in white was hostile towards you is because of some trauma of the past. Maybe she had a bad experience with a Coluan. One can never know" he shrugs before he releases Minoke, stepping aside for Crusader to do his thing.

Beryl has posed:
Minoke just shudders as she gasps, up to full charge from Crusader's remote electrical feeed, as she sways, her eyes' glow much brighter. "Very nice..." she murmurs softly as she finally pulls back. "I... need a place to stay. My ship is too damaged.. it will be a while before I can fly her again..." she muses. "Power systems a mess..." She decides to follow Warlock for now - for he's her only line of communication with this strange world... and his energy is very tasty. She doesn't know where she is or who she is - but someone who can undrestand her is vital!
