Cast of Characters: Adam Warlock, Angela

Adam Warlock has posed:
It was on board the Milano, after Adam Warlock and a few other Guardians took a trip to Thanagar and ended up settling a sibling dispute in the process. Now? Adam was simply meditating on the lower deck of the Guardian's mothership, so to speak. His eyes closed as he takes a deep breath. His staff standing upright on it's own in the corner.

After a small sigh and release of breath, Adam stands completely upright, summoning his staff to him with but a extension of his hand. He hums a small moment then. "I wonder if Angela is around...I rather enjoy her company." he muses to himself as the gold-skinned Avatar of Life enjoys a rather quiet day today.

Angela has posed:
Angela wasn't around for the trip to Thanagar, but she keeps in touch with the Milano's crew pretty well with the headset they gave her. That, and she's a hunter; she's good at finding things. Returning to the ship, she cycles the airlock and boards. The wingless angel is returning from Midgard (the place Quill refers to as Earth), and she's brought something back with her. In the square, flat case is something called a 'compact disc' with music that she's pretty sure Quill would like.

Leaving the 'Blondie' CD on the console, Angela heads for the lower decks where the bunks are located. It's not that she needs sleep, or even sustenance. Sometimes all it takes is familiar surroundings to put one at ease.

Adam Warlock has posed:
Adam was simply standing there in the crew bunks when Angela comes down..and he greets her with a smile that compares to the sun in terms of warmth and beauty. "Ah, you have returned from Peter's homeworld, which I believe is called Terra." he smiles then, turning his body to face her.

"How was your trip? You were missed on our most recent adventure." Yes, Adam admitted he missed her.

Angela has posed:
Angela returns the smile, although not as brightly. "That is one of its names, yes." she replies. When he mentions their latest adventure she perks up. "I did? Was there much bloodshed? I'm afraid there were almost no fights on this trip. Although a man did look at me thoughtfully on the subway."

Adam Warlock has posed:
Adam smiles softly then, bowing his head. "I also hear that....one day I will have to learn them all. Life is beautiful in that way, it always presents you with something new." he moves closer to Angela then, smiling to her. "There was a little bit of fighting. Though it was nothing to be concerned with." Though he -does- tilt his head. "You go to earth often. If I may be so bold, do you do it as a favor to the Lord of Stars?" (AKA Starlord, in the native language of Adam) He could also be determining if there's some sort of flirtatious relationship between the two.

"Also...I think I may have found something that may interest you. On Thanagar, there was a golden-haired warrior who proclaimed himself to be the God of Thunder, his name was Thor. However...I noticed something peculiar. He had a strong resemblance to you and you to him." he smiles softly. "If I may, may I ask if you know this person?" clearly he isn't trying to be offensive.

Angela has posed:
Angela shakes her head at the mention of Quill. "No. I go to Midgard... Terra... for my own reasons." Her gaze narrows a touch when Thor is brought up, however. "Asgardian." the redhead replies, with an edge to her voice. The woman's animated ribbons become visibly agitated as well.

"Yes, I know this one. I have fought with him, and though he's a bit... thick... he is certainly valiant. But I would not say that there is a resemblance. Thor is of Asgard, the son of Odin whose curse locked the Tenth Realm away from the rest of the universe."

Adam Warlock has posed:
Adam nods softly then to Angela. "You can speak with me of it if you wish? Though if it is more of a sensitive topic, I understand if you do not wish to speak of it." He smiles warmly to her, before he can see her become agitated, and he looks saddened because of this.

"I see....it just surprised me. Even your auras are relatively the same." he shakes his head softly then. "I apologize. I meant not to offend, but to inform. I'm sorry if I have pained you with this information." he bows his head then apologetically. Though he does reach for her hand, as if to squeeze it in both worry and apology.

Angela has posed:
Angela's ribbons don't seem to be near calming down just yet, and while she draws her hand back it's not in preparation for violence. "You are offering comfort. It isn't necessary. Heven is my homeland, the Tenth Realm. We fought a war against Asgard a long time ago. We lost. Exile was the price of our failure." Failure is clearly something she doesn't like.

Arms fold over her armored chest, her jaw setting as she considers. "When I fought with Thor it ended in a draw. It is very rare for me to lose." Of course in HER interpretation, losing is defined as not-winning. "Perhaps the next time I see him we will have the opportunity to talk."

Adam Warlock has posed:
Adam stops the movement of his hand as she draws it back, though he seems to prepare for a more physical retaliation but...it never comes. With that in mind, he hears her words, but he can also feel the hate and bitterness off of them. "I apologize. I would like to see such a place sometime." he admits with a small smile.

Though he turns and takes a seat on one of the bunks, patting softly next to him as if to invite her to join him. They were already physically close, but he figured it'd be good for her to possibly sit down and relax. "I think that would be the wise course of action. After all, time can either heal wounds, or fester them." He shrugs then.

Angela has posed:
Angela shrugs, keeping her arms folded. "I would like to be able to show you, but the realm remains sealed by Odin's curse." She shifts her weight, looking away for a moment. "I had heard of an Asgardian on Midgard, which is what drew me to that place. I met Thor Odinson and our conversation was not productive."

She turns towards him at the pat and the invitation, and while her expression softens she does not sit. "All the same, there may be others who are more conversational. I do not know. But whether time heals wounds or causes them to fester, I will not forget."

Adam Warlock has posed:
Adam nods a few times then, looking Angela in the eyes as she reveals not only her wish to one day show him Heven, but of her reasons for going to earth as well. "Ah...I see. With the previous words that you have said, it is a great deal of sense that you would go to meet him. I take it you were not pleased with finding an equal in skill?" he asks then, recalling her words of their bout being a draw.

But although she doesn't accept his invitation, he does smile to her softly as her features soften for him. "I understand. But know that in all that you do, I will be by your side. Never are you alone." he encourages her as best he can while also making her a promise to support her should he be needed.

Angela has posed:
"There are not many who are my equal in battle." Angela replies simply. "That is one reason why I am with the Guardians. It occurred to me while we were trying to kill each other that they would make worthy allies." She does smile, then, and she nods. "It is good not to be alone, at least some of the time."
