Synopsis: Drake and Diana have a chat with Tony at the Avenger's mansion about a new clue.
Cast of Characters: Wonder Woman, Iron Man, Slipstream

Wonder Woman has posed:
Diana Prince arrives at the mansion as she had a few times before, via a town car from her Embassy. She steps out of the vehicle and proceeds to move around it to enter the front gate (she has an appointment so the gate guard let her in!).

She steps up to the door and she passes through it as two other people leaving hold it open for her, because they recognize her! Diana exchanges a few pleasantries with them before going on inside. Wearing a slim fit pair of black pants and a slick dark brown leather jacket, the Princess glances around the interior of the Mansion. Her black hair is tied back behind her head in a straight pony-tail that drapes down her spin behind her. Her blue eyes scan about the area while she walks a little deeper inside.

Iron Man has posed:
An assistant comes out quickly, all pep and blonde. "Ms. Prince! Welcome! You are here for your appointment, ah, of course," the assistant says with a mix of awe and pleasure, as if very pleased that this visitor came on her shift. "I'm Ashley. Please, come with me," she invites, gesturing with her small datapad to one of the very comfortable sitting room areas just off of the foyer, the exterior windows looking out into the broad garden and courtyard beyond.
"Mr. Stark should be with us presently. Can I get you anything? A refreshment, perhaps?" the assistant chimes, all assurance, though not entirely professional due to her blush.

Slipstream has posed:
Coming from the gym is Drake, who is currently wearing a pair of black Avenger's jogger pants and a simple black shirt that clings with sweat to his upperframe. His hair is moist and unruly as he runs a hand back through it. He looks to be a bit tired with a slumped posture to his frame and the way he moves. A gold robot floats after him with a digital expression on it's face, one of o.o, which can almost be construed as concern. At the sound of voices, especially the familiar one of the assistant, he gives a pause and looks over. As he spies the woman, he halts his step, staring for a long moment before he rubs the back of his neck. The device on his left wrist gives a loud beep to distract him, the colors turning red to yellow on the warning screen.

Wonder Woman has posed:
A large smile is shown to the peppy blonde assistance, Diana's red hued lips showcase her pleasant demeanor toward the woman and a soft nod of her head acknowledges what the other says. "It is a pleasure to meet you Ashley. I am a fan of this place, so it is a treat to get to come here every time." Her Greek accented voice is husky in tone and pleasing to mosts ears. "Last time I was here was to speak with Captain Danvers for a charity event... It went very well."

Once inside the seating area, Diana choose a chair to perch her tall-self down upon its edge, sitting straight and proper. "Ah... tea?" Diana says then, showing another smile and a slight tilt of her head. "That would be wonderful, thaaank you." She tells the other.

Diana doesn't yet regard Drake as he hasn't made his presence an obvious one yet to her.

Iron Man has posed:
"Ms. Danvers is not here today, but I'm certain she will be sad to have missed you. Tea? Yes. Of course!" Ashley the assistant answers, crossing her forearms over her datapad with a quick little bow of head towards the well known heroine. "I'll be right back," she says unnecessarily, and slips out of the still-ajar door to the hallway, mostly looking back. She comes around a column, not paying full attention: and almost running directly into Drake. "Ah! Excuse me, Mr. Winters," Ashley says, apologetic, naturally moving one hand out to attempt to touch his wrist in friendly apology.
"Wonder Woman is here," she shares in a quiet tone, needing to tell someone. And then she remembers she has tea to fetch, and heads off to take care of that.
From the upstairs, Tony Stark is coming down, though, giving rapidfire instructions off to one of the other staff members, with a lot of gestures from his left hand, picking off each of the items on fingers of his right. "By Monday," he finishes. "And yes, it's still going to be noisy, for today." He spots Drake in the hallway, as well as the robot with him, and quirks brows in a silent question on his way towards where Diana is waiting.

Slipstream has posed:
When Ashley nearly runs into him, Drake stiffens for a moment as she reaches out to touch his wrist. ".. Sorry, I'm sweaty." He says in a soft, raspy voice as he pulls his hand gently away. "It's okay, don't worry. I probably should have been looking where I was going too." Snowball bumps into his shoulder from behind, trying to give him a bit of encouragement. Thump. Bump. "Wonder Woman?" He asks as he gives a look back over to Diana. ".. Huh. Didn't recognize her without the .. you know... her costume... and ... you're gone." He says as he glances over his shoulder as Ashley hustles off to fetch the tea. He reaches over tap the device strapped to his arm again gently a few times to quell the beeping alerts. He stands there for a few long moments as he weighs thoughts by rocking on his sneakered feet, then gives a glance over to Tony. He gives him a quick, half-guarded smile, lifting a hand up in salutations.

Wonder Woman has posed:
Diana isn't seated for long because she spots some pictures that hadn't been in this room the last time she'd been here. Hung up on the wall across from where she was seated she's moving slowly toward them and standing there with her hands at her hips and her eyes looking over the imagery of the Avengers... New members, she didn't recognize some of them... they're young. Diana smiles softly at the ones having a good time at a party-event of some kind but its soon that her eyes flick away as she hears Tony's voice. (She has great hearing).

When he'd step into the room he'd find her standing in its center with her eyes on the entry way and a faint smile on her lips. She's definitely not in her armor though, as in the past 100 years she's adapted to living amongst the people and though hear gear was never that far from her (Its actually in the car right now!) she's commonly wearing civilian clothing more than it, though that may be a close measurement as to which is on her more often, especially since the formation of the Justice League in the past few years.

Iron Man has posed:
Tony arrives, with a friendly start of a clap on the shoulder, but then he thinks better of it, and pulls his hand back. "Well, you look--" a pause. "Damp," Tony decides, finally, of Drake's sweaty appearance. He glances over the wrist device, then to Snowball, but seems to take it in stride without much change to his expression. "You've looked better, let's check on you, eh, after this meeting," Tony suggests of Drake. "Want to come along? Come on," he invites openly, before proceeding into the room where Diana waits without waiting for Drake to give a yay or nay about it.

"Wonderful as always to see you, Diana," Tony greets in his casual, friendly manner, approaching her smoothly where she stands and without pause. He offers a handshake, sleek and charismatic. "Hope the trip wasn't too wet, the weather's been sketchy; not exactly convertible weather," Tony chuckles. "What brings you out here to us? If the world's ending again, I appreciate the personal touch."

Slipstream has posed:
".. Um..." Drake pauses for a moment, then furrows his brows as he feels Snowball ramming against him from behind again, nudging him on after the Iron Man. He takes in a deep breath and trudges along, trying to work his hair into place with his fingers since he is about to appear before superhero royalty. As Tony speaks to her, he stops a few feet away, staring down at his worn sneakers and respectfully giving them their space.

Wonder Woman has posed:
Diana's eyes weren't on the doorway when Tony did stride in, she had them averted to her right where the sunlight was filtering in from between a pair of window drapes. Out into the well manicured yard, she stares at a bird hopping around on a birdie fountain, splashing water around with his beak and wings.

But when the wondrous Iron Man himself does appear, Diana's gaze moves toward him and a warm smile tugs at the corners of her lips. She dips her chin slight and raises her blue eyes up to stare back at him before she accepts his offered hand. "Mister Stark." She says in that heavily foreign accented voice of hers. "I am actually based in Manhattan now. So the trip is not far for me to take any more. I am... only a few blocks south of here, point of fact." Another glance is given to the window but it is short-lived. "I like the rain, but yes, it is a bit cold yet still to truly enjoy it."

"And I come bearing a gift, of sorts, from the ever talkative Gotham Crusader." From her right pocket she pulls a flash-drive and she holds it up then. "Everything related to the fear toxin that the criminal 'Scarecrow' has used in his terrorizing of poor Gotham." And then the flash drive is lowered and offered to Tony, a faint smile still showing on her red lips.

Diana's eyes glance toward the hallway then, she can 'hear' Drake out there, but if he chooses not to enter she won't make him feel awkward by calling out to him.

Iron Man has posed:
"Manhattan? Basically on my doorstep. Welcome. When did that happen?" Tony asks. He can't keep track of where everyone is; it isn't something on his immediate radar really. "This is Drake Winters, one of our new hires," the gestures to the young, shy fellow that came in behind him. Ashley has appeared with a tray: teapot, cups, various additional items to add to the tea if desired, and she brings it in, hesitating. Tony directs her with a distracted motion, and she sets it on the coffee table between several of the comfortable, plush chairs and low couch.
"'Scarecrow'? Cute. Gotham has the weird ones, doesn't it; I don't envy him that," Tony says, in a tone that says he thinks that's anything but cute. "And relevant to our interests. Great," Tony answers.
"And we have Snowball with us, she can get a first pass on that, and uplink." Snowball is the floating robot, though that may not be apparent at first, beyond that Tony looked sideways to Drake. "Drake, you want the honors?" He suggests with a smile, gesturing with two fingers for Drake to go ahead and help convey the drive to the little robot.

"If this fear toxin has a history, maybe we can get an antidote together, and get to the root of this. Think the Batman would accept a gift basket to show our appreciation?" Tony asks with a playful smirk.

Slipstream has posed:
"Hi. I go by Slip Stream. It's nice to meet you, Wonder Woman. My friend Valk is a huge fan of yours. She would ... ah .. lose her mind if she knew I got to meet you in person." Drake says as he heads over to get the thumb drive. He offers a quick smile to her, then slips the device into Snowball on the back of her where the usb ports reside. "Maybe if it's okay, I can get a picture for her? I know it would mean a lot."

Once he ensures the device is installed, the youngest member of the Avengers steps to the side to stand next to Snowball, giving a glance over at her for a moment before he settles a hand against the top of her head. Her digital voice goes from o.o to n.n.

Wonder Woman has posed:
Diana regards Ashley when she returns with the tray and sets it down where Tony sort've-indicated. "Thank you, Ashley." Diana tells her softly while moving to gather up one of the tea-cups.

She turns then to look to Tony again. "Yes, Gotham has a lot of very colorful criminals... you could say. One imagines that Batman's approach to solving the woes of the city has helped influence it a bit, but I am told it was like that even before he donned his cape and cowl."

After a drink of the tea is sipped, Diana would then turn to Drake and she grins a little in his direction at his words. "It is a pleasure to meet you, Slip Stream. You can call me Diana though, it is the name I was given and wore for... a... long time, before Wonder Woman was ever placed upon me." Her grin shifts into a smile and she nods once to him. "A picture is more than acceptable, and please tell your friend that I would love to meet her."

Diana returns the grin to the Billionaire. "I do not think gift baskets are Batman's... cup of tea. But I would very much love to see the expression on half of his face, when he is offered one." She's of course teasing, but serious too!

Iron Man has posed:
Tony speaks directly to Drake, turning his head, "Do you want to be introduced as just 'Slip Stream' now?" as a clarity point, brows up. "If you decide you do, get me a memo," Tony says, deciding not to pin Drake to the wall on it in front of Diana. Tony diverts back quickly to the heroine.

"/I/ would, too. I wouldn't be there, alas. But it does beg the question, what /do/ you get for the Bat that has everything?" Tony asks rhetorically, lifting both hands. "More samples of mutant vomit, maybe," Tony guesses with a chuckle and roll of his eyes, snapping his fingers. "I've a wealth of awful biological samples lately. Lucky me."
Tony heads over to the tea tray; he ignores the tea but snares a few things out of a glass bowl on one side of it. Ashley gets a look of approval quickly from Tony: it's a bowl of dried cranberries. She anticipated her boss; he noticed, and eats a few, loosely holding a handful.

"Really though, thanks for bringing this over. This case - I feel like we're close to closing it, and catching these monsters picking on the mutants." Tony pulls a device from his pocket that's sort of a phone, and aims it towards Snowball, thumbing through some menus.

Slipstream has posed:
".. No. I meant .. that's just my code name thingy... you can call me Drake. It's Drake." The young man assures the two of them as he lets out a soft sigh. He rubs his shoulder for a few moments, followed by giving it a squeeze as if to try and work some blood back into it. "I can see why that woulda came off as confusing. My bad." He rocks some on his feet again, giving a glance over his shoulder, then says, ".. It was nice to meet you though. I need to take a shower. I'll let Valk know that I met you." He gives her a smile, then heads off as he shoves his hands into the pockets of his joggers.

Wonder Woman has posed:
Diana continues to grin at Tony's words and she gently nods her head two quick times. "I will present him with a gift basket and then I shall share with you in great detail what his reaction to it was. But I warn you, it will probably involve a long blank stare followed by him excusing himself. That tends to be his go-to response to things he cannot process." Bat-teasing, it never gets old!

"Please be careful with all of this though and I do very much want to help stop any harm befalling the mutants. They have every right that any of the rest of us should be granted. They need to be treated fairly, as we all do."

A small look to Drake and Diana smiles to him. "It was a pleasure to meet you, Slip Stream. I look forward to more chances hopefully soon." And she'd offer him a light wave before looking back to Tony.

Iron Man has posed:
"They absolutely do," Tony agrees. He nods to Drake, letting the young man escape. "After your shower. Tests," Tony reminds, with a tap at Snowball, then to Drake. He then moves in a few steps towards Diana, to lower his voice conspiratorially. "So, the contents of this gift basket...." Tony begins, with a wry little smile.

    Bat-teasing definitely doesn't get old.
