Raijin has posed:
about 3:00pm, Saturday.

New York was in the prime time! Everyone was either heading to get their lunch or were trying to go home from work. Some were even trying to get -to- work, depending on what their time table looked like on a daily basis. But...not everyone was in a rush. In his office at Vasusena Enterprises, Rayner was -bored- out of his mind! He didn't really ahve to do that much either! the board pretty much did everything anyways, though he did play the biggest hand in dealing with the finacnes, which he ran like a genius. as it stands, he's a billionaire out of pocket alone.

But alas, he was bored and he would prefer a friend to hangout with. He stood there in his black two-piece suit with the blue tie. His raven hair was pulled back into a nice, clean cut hairstyle and he wore black oxfords on his feet. Eventually, he pulled out his cell phone and texted Breath:

'meet me at Vasusena Enteprises? Head to the desk and tell them Rayner invited you. they'll send ya right up.'

and now...he waits.

Breath has posed:
Lyssa is at work. But it's close to break, and her boss is pretty understanding of things like this. Especially since she can actually call this 'business related' as long as she tacks on an extra errand. So it isn't actually all that long before a Stark Industries car drops her off at the door with a folder. The folder is delivered before she gets all the way upstairs.

Lyssa peeks in, dressed business casual with her hair tied back in a tail, and looking significantly more made up than usual, and not quite in her usual colors. "Heya, you rang? What's up? Something wrong? Or like, are you just bored or something?" She smiles some, with a tinge of awkwardness.

Raijin has posed:
Rayner has his hands in his pant pockets when Lyssa walks in, and he turns to face her with a small smile on his face. "Heya Lys, and I was mainly just bored. Figured I'd call ya up." a tilt of his head. "WHy? did something happen?" he asks her curiously, inviting her in with a gesture of his hand. "How goes it? dying of boredom at Stark Industries yet?" he smiles kindly to her then, he was just being playful after all.

He sees her dressed business casual. "sorry if it's awkward, I just figured that others probably wouldn't show, so..."

Breath has posed:
Lyssa ohs.. "I was at work. I.... My manager made sure I was prettied up before I came over. I'm not sure what she thinks is going on here..." She blushes a little bit, cataloging a few of the odd ideas she's sure her manager might have gotten from the request.

She nods. "Okay, I can totally see that. Aren't you supposed to be, like, doing some crazy accounting paranoia or some shit like that? Iunno. What'cha want to do?" She closes the door behind her and wanders in, crossing her hands behind her back and slipping over to you in mildly higher heeled shoes than her usual flats.

Raijin has posed:
Rayner was in the COO's office of Vasusena enterprises. Back when Lyssa was on her way, Rayner called Koriand'r and asked her if she wanted company. Invited her up to the COO'So fficea nd instructed her how to get there casually. Then Lyssa arrived, and now the two talk happily. Lyssa is business casual and Rayner is dressed in a two-piece black suit. both look awesome.

"Hah! I'm so sorry about that. I really didn't mean to make it a hassle for you. My apologies." he bows his head softly then as he leans against his desk. "On the bright side you do look pretty great." might as well compliment! "yeaahahh...problem is, I did that shit already. So I'm just bred out of my mind. I can run the supercomputer at the tower in my sleep...running and crunching numbers here? I cna do that in an hour what most people need a day." he shrugs then.

"So, what did I disturb you doing specifically? I didn't call you out of a meeting did I?"

Breath has posed:
Lyssa uhs.. "No, I was making charts for somebody's Powerpoint about materials wastage caused from syringe design. Like, someone's gotta do it, but like, yawn. I'm not even making the actual presentation, just compiling the data. Mostly because I'm the only one in the office who even cares about syringes and needles."

She brushes her hair back, even though it's already tied back.. so it's an empty nervous gesture devoid of actual function. So she straightens the tail instead, and smiles. A little bit awkwardly. "And then I check my messages, and like... /offhandedly/ mention that I should go meet a friend for lunch, and my boss was there, so like, she asks who. And SUDDENLY I am getting dragged into her office and getting made up and stuff. Like, I didn't know about texturing until she made me put some on. Then she hands me a file and gives me a ride here." She looks a little bit awkward at the story.

Starfire has posed:
The elevator door opens, and a gorgeous woman walks in. Wearing a cream-colored sundress that sets off her luscious orange skin, with matching heels. Her fiery red hair loose around her shoulders and down her back. No makeup, of course. "Hello, friend Rayner. Friend Lyssa. I was doing a mdeling shoot when receiving your summons. It was almost over so we put the wrap on it and here I am. I thought I'd try wearing human clothes for once... not sure about the shoes."

Raijin has posed:
Rayner then looks at Lyssa as she goes on an entire mini speal about the situation when Rayner called her over to him, and he looks extremely apologetic. "Oh wow...I was...definitely not expecting that. Apologies." he does frown a little bit at her before he shrugs. "Well...what's in the file? or is it an empty folder?" he grins softly at her...before upon a sudden, Starfire arrives on the premises to save Lyssa from whatever awkwardness she was feeling!

"Kori, good tos ee you. Wow, I just called people up while they were in the middle of things....sorry. I haven othing for either of you, I was just bored and wanted to spend time with friends." he admits then. Kind of childish, but at least they might feel special. "So, maybe we can all go get some lunch after spending a moment here?"

Breath has posed:
Lyssa ooohs! She gives Kori a once over, smiles, "I *like* those shoes! They're a pain to wear for long, but they look *nice*. You're looking super awesome. It's great to see you! How have you been doing?"

She nods back at Rayner, "Yeah, I'm totally going to be expecting a *ton* of hen gossip when I get back to the office tomorrow. It's crazy. They're going to be doing so much shipping. And like, I don't even think you've ever hit on me? Iunno. I probably wouldn't even notice anyways. I usually don't. And like, it was just a delivery they were saving to send by courier. Contracts or something. I didn't ask. Nothing weird. Sure, I'm up for that."

Starfire has posed:
Koriand'r smiles. "A meal sounds lovely," she muses, clicking her tongue. "I often have wondered what my teammates do during their..." She ponders. "Morning job." She smiles. "And I am glad that Rayner is not hitting you, friend Lyssa. I would hate to have to break his arm." Typical Kori, not _quite_ getting the figures of speech. She sends an odd look Rayner's way.

Raijin has posed:
Rayner smiles softly to Starfire. She really did look amazing. Though he doesn't vocalize it, his eyes falling on her. "What? Oh no, erm..no offense, but we're not our types. Plus I could have sworn you were dating the mechanic who showed up that one time we were trying to hook up the playstation to the danger room." he grins at her softly. Yes, he still thinks that's a thing. Alas, Kori speaks.

"Well, now ya know." he teases her, but he blinks when Kori misunderstands figure of speech. "What? Oh, ohhhhhh no. See, when someone says that they were or are hitting on someone, it's slang for flirting or making romantic advances. Not arm break worthy...in most cases." he smiles to her softly. "Besides, you'd have to try pretty hard to break my arm." he winks at her.

Breath has posed:
Lyssa ohs! She holds up a hand with one finger. "ONCE! I dated him one time. He was totally sweet, but we aren't a thing at all. I mean, it was worth a try, I guess, but no. And yeah! I don't think I'm ANYBODY'S 'type'. I'm not sure I HAVE a type. And that was with the robot in the gym. The danger room thing was totally different."

She tracks Ray's gaze a bit and smiles back at Kori. Then flicks her eyes to decide how high up Rayner's eye level is. She wanders to go stand next to Kori so Ray's hormones don't exclude her from the conversation entirely, since she knows Kori inadvertently has that effect on people sometimes, for reasons she doesn't quite fathom.

Starfire has posed:
Koriand'r smiles. "Challenge accepted, Rayner," she cooos, winking. "I bet I could break your arm if I tried..." She then ponders, clicking her tongue. "But then I'd hurt a good friend and I do not want that... hmmmm. Tricky." She clicks her tongue, muttering softly in her native tongue. "I'm sure you will find someone, Lyssa. You are a beautiful young lady." She puts her arm around Lyssa and gives her a side-hug, smiling softly, as she moves next to her. "So - shall we do the lunch now?"

Raijin has posed:
Rayner can't help but laugh a little bit to Lyssa as she holds up one finger, causing him to lift his hands up in self defense in a 'easy, easy!' kind of way. "Okay, okay! It was just a thought." he laughs a little bit. "I mean, coulda fooled me that you two were an item." he winks softly to her then before his eyes were on Kori them as she coos and challenges him in that flirtatious manner of hers.

"Heh...we'll have to find out one day." he smiles softly to her, crossing his arms before he nods to Kori. "That we can! I know a good seafood place nearby. Unless you ladies would prefer a steakhouse?"

Breath has posed:
Lyssa nods to Kori. "Well I guess. Just, I kinda don't have the right bits yet and stuff, and ace girls don't get a lot of dates. I don't really know anybody that would even be interested. But yeah, lunch would be totally awesome right about now; what are you thinking? Like, I'm not usually in this part of town, I don't know what's good around here, and I don't have my wings with me."

She tilts her head at the list. "Well, like, either one is okay with me? Steak sounds kind of nice, but like, probably because where I grew up just had yuck for seafood. Iunno what I think about the stuff that doesn't taste like it's been in a freezer too long..."

Starfire has posed:
Koriand'r smiles. "Either is fine with me. But a good rare steak covered in the mustard sounds like X'Hal's blessing to me. So I vote on that," she states, nodding and grinning. "Beside, the Silkie doesn't seem to react well to seafood other than canned tuna and I'd want to bring him a bite."
