Monsters, sausages, kings and queens

Synopsis:	Mutants eating hot dogs, Paper goddesses blowing up mind-warping horrors from beyond, and Atlantean royalty out for a walk.

Aquawoman has posed:
Mera is back up top it seems...humoring someone in particular. Her long red hair was pulled up into a messy bun on the top of her head, a few strands loose. Back in those jeans and a slightly cropped black top, she pulls that black leather jacket shut. Those blue eyes take in her surroundings as she stands leaning against that tree she had found to people watch from. Letting out a soft sigh she folds her arms slowly under her chest. "..hm."

Aquaman has posed:
Orin had noticed that Mera wasn't in Atlantis. His Queen had once again gone to the surface world...which brought a big smile to his features. He's been trying to get her to do so for weeks, and she was finally doing it! Arriving with a longsleeve shirt with the sleeves rolled up, blue jeans, and combat boots, a jacket in his hand, he sneaks up behind Mera and gives her a little kiss on the cheek. "There you are."

Kaydin LeGraize has posed:
    The sound of rapid footfalls announces the teenager. That and a blur of motion and lightning. He moves about the park and passes by Orin and Mera as he stops long enough to be seen. His reason: The hotdog vendor was in central park. "Okay bruno, hit me." Kaydin says as he pulls out some money from his pocket and pays the man and gets several large hot dogs with ketchup on them. One is inhaled as he looks around at his environment to see what exactly was going on. So far no trouble.

Rift has posed:
A vertical red line of light tears open fifteen feet in the air above Central Park as a glowing red female figure flies out, the portal slowly closing behind her. People are getting used to this strange-looking mutant by now whose entire body, clothing and all, glows a dull red, with brighter red glows INSIDE her arms, legs, chest, and head. She lands near Kaydin and the hotdog vendor, grinning. "My usual please," she cooos, as the hotdog man winks and prepares half a dozen dogs, with the works (well, kinda works: no relish or sauerkraut). She nods as she pays, then blinks as she sees someone new in the park. "Hey - look at them..." she cooos to Kaydin whom she moved to stand by. "Her hair might be more red than mine."

Origami has posed:
Miyako Moore soars low over the ground in a giant paper airplane, just like the ones a middle schooler might fold in a boring class. She zigs and zags and clings to the inside of the plane, speeding along. A few seconds behind her, a small group of crazed shattered stained glass monstrosities about the size of a dog come charging after her!

Miyako Moore swoops along toward a paved section of empty clearing ringed with paper litter, then does a swing around stop to face the monsters. As the monsters rush toward her, they hit the ring of paper at the edge of the clearing, setting off a pretty large series of explosions!

When the smoke clears, she pulls out a sheet of paper and casually folds it up, tossing it in front of her. The paper turns spotty and.. cow shaped and cow sized, and wanders forward to start eating all the shards of monstrosity.

Still, it draws some attention. Miyako Moore looks around at the people whose attention was no doubt drawn by the explosions, and waves awkwardly from atop the paper plane. She oohs, recognizing the portal, and slowly floats that direction a bit.

Aquawoman has posed:
Mera leans into that kiss slightly as she chuckles. "I know....shocking that I'm up here again...." She looks up to the tall man and nods. "It must be almost..." But she stops as she sees that portal open up. A raise of her brow as she watches the woman appear and then seems to be.....waiting. Her hands moving to those pants pockets she slowly averts her eyes and looks back to Orin. "So is this....normal up here?" And just as she says that....here comes Miyako that floats over? "....okay this must be....just..." Looking around as she takes in those walking around she then chuckles. "People must be not phased by any of this.

Aquaman has posed:
Orin chuckles and hugs Mera against him as he looks at her. "Little bit, yes." he winks softly then before he turns his head sharply to Kaydin as he arrives. A speedster? curious. then he looks to Miyako and Kotra arrive, tilting his head at the both of them before he returns his attention to Mera. "Strangely enough? Yes."

He smiles warmly to her then with a shrug. "Thankfully though, it's not enemies, but aparently friends who arn't here to make trouble...cross your fingers."

Kaydin LeGraize has posed:
    Kaydin nods to Kitora with a mouth full of hot dog. He eats and swallows the bite and nods. "I see you got away from Xaviers." Kaydin says as he eats. He turns to the woman that kitora is talking about and shrugs. "Probably redder." He says as he then turns in time to see the paper airplane and such. When it begins to come over here he raises an eyebrow at it. "Mad Origami skills. I bet no one does this as good as you." He says with a grin to the woman once she is close enough and he eats some more hotdog.

Rift has posed:
Kitora Alua nods. "Yeah..." she muses softly. "Oh, I'm still glowing, huh?" She takes a breath and lets it go, and her aura winks out. She now looks like a relatively normal Japanese teenager - but with flaming red hair and matching eyes. "Hey... that's Aquaman!" she coooooos as she moves over there. "Mr. Aquaman! Hello there! I'm a big fan!"

Origami has posed:
Miyako Moore glides up to Kitora and Kaydin slowly, since well... they're not being chill and under cover at all either. There's a garbage can in the back of the glider with some sort of insane mural.. thing painted on it that looks like it was painted hurriedly by a deranged cubist in the advanced stages of schizophrenia or something.

Miyako Moore tosses a thumbs-up. "Don't you know it." She glances back as the paper cow slowly eats all the evidence. "Sorry for the explosions and the Lovecraftian horrorterror thingies. Somebody is being naughty, and I don't know how to find them."

She blinks and looks back over at the whoever Kitora is looking at. She smiles some and waves without recognition.

Aquawoman has posed:
Mera chuckles a bit. "For their sake.....let's hope...." Leaning against him for a moment she glances to the one that was looking to her but seems she already knew her husband in a sense. Those blue eyes stay locked on the woman as she stands up straight now. Moving to stand in front of Orin she looks back over her shoulder then. "Friend of yours, Orin?" Slowly she looks back to the fellow red head and smiles slightly. "Hello to you too."

Aquaman has posed:
Orin chuckles to Mera and he smiles to her, wrapping his arm around Mera before he's apparently greeted by a fan! He doesn't have a whole lot of them, but he chuckles a little bit as Kitora goes full on fangirl on him. "Heya...that's me..but eh, keep it on the down low alright? Call me Arthur." he smiles softly as he extends a hand to Kitora to shake her hand. "What's your name?" he asks her curiously.

He does shed a glance again to Kaydin and Miyako and gives them a light wave as they apparently notice him too.

Kaydin LeGraize has posed:
    Kaydin watches the woman and walks over with Kitora and smiles. "No way." Kaydin says as he watches the girl and when the man answers he nods. "Hey you are him. Are you on the surface for anything specific?" He asks as he eats more of his hot dogs. Once his armful was gone he covers his mouth and lets out a burp. He looks to Miyako "So why were you being chased?" He asks curiously.

Rift has posed:
Kitora Alua smiles. "I'm Kitora and this is Kaydin..." She glances over - Kaydin sometimes runs off without warning. She glances over. "Not s ure who the girl on the flying paper airplane is... it's an interesting vehicle to be sure... probably some kind of magic?"

Origami has posed:
Miyako Moore ohs.. "Because I didn't want them attacking some poor guy sneaking on the back trails, of course. They were just wandering around attacking random trees and bugs when I found them.. Have you seen any tags like this around anywhere?" She points at the deranged, head-tilting cubist madness on the garbage can. "Somebody is just leaving them lying around, and people are getting hurt. But by the time I can find them? They're long gone, and I have to deal with insane monster.. things. And now I have to Mount Doom this thing somehow..."

Miyako Moore sighs. "I'm Origami. And.. I don't think we've met?" She waves a massively scarred hand in lieu of a handshake, then digs out a big tube of prescription hand cream and rubs it into her hands.

Aquawoman has posed:
Mera chuckles a bit listens then nods. "I'm Mera....." Shifting her weight on her feet she smiles as she looks slowly looks them all over. "Nice to meet you guys." With that she leans against Aquaman as she nods. "And really?" Pushing some stray hair out of her face she nods. "Well....huh. Maybe you should see about setting a trap for them?"

Aquaman has posed:
Arthur looks at Kaydin and he gives the fellow a small smile before he looks at Mera almost apologeticaly. He didn't wear a mask as Aquaman....being a king of an underwater empire does that to ya. Eitehr way, he smiles to both Kitora and Kaydin with a friendly smile for both. "It's a pleasure to meet you both, Kitora, Kaydin." he shakes both of their hands most likely. Then he looks to Miyako as she makes herself known.

"Hello Origami. It's nice to meet you. Strangely enough, I think I'd remember you." a friendly smile before he wraps an arm around Mera to hold her close to him, kissing her forehead before he looks out to them.

Rift has posed:
Kitora Alua blinks as her cellphone beeps. Kaydin seems to have run off somewhere. That's a speedster for you. She bows to Arthur and Mera. "Your Majesties, please forgive me but I'm being called by... my personal trainer. Apparnetly I missed my appointment. I hope to see you soon." She lights up again, and tears a portal open, and walks through it, waving again as it closes behind her.

Origami has posed:
Miyako Moore drifts that way, moving to sit on the nose of the paper airplane. "Probably. I don't think we've met, um.. sir? Your magesty? I don't know the address. And I don't know how to set a trap yet, either. Whoever it is just finds somewhere, draws something insane, and leaves. Then after awhile, it starts blooming up so I can notice it, I go 'Oh no, not again', and go there and find insane monsters of some sort, or whatever. And then I have to clean it all up and find somebody to take the stuff and destroy it so it doesn't do anything else."

She looks back at the debris-grazing cow. "This time, it was like.. jumbled up stained glass bits. Creeepy. You didn't see the eyes and mouths from over here. I'm going to have a hard time sleeping." She sighs and shudders a bit.

Aquaman has posed:
Aquaman kisses Mera on the lips before it seems he also neds to run off back to his kingdom, but he gives Miyako a happy looking little smile, watching her as she attempts to address him properly, but he doesn't mind it. "Just call me Arthur. No need for formality here." he smiles to her softly as he listens to her process of dealing with certian stuff.

"Oh my. I'm sorry that you have to go through that. If you like, one of these days I can aid you in the process."

He gives a little wave to Kaydin as he runs off, and to Kitora as she excuses herself respectfully. Nevertheless, he kisses Mera before he moves off to the sea. "Forgive me leaving, but I have a kingdom to check on. Until next time."
