Synopsis: Supergirl talks to Robin (Tim Drake)
Cast of Characters: Supergirl, Red Robin

Supergirl has posed:
After Supergirl's meeting in Metropolis with Superman and Power Girl, the young Kryptonian was more certain of the danger that the organization the created Power Girl presents. Not just to her and her cousin, but to all of Earth's heroes. A plan of action had been discussed, and now it was time for Kara to do her part.

After arriving at Titan's Tower, Supergirl went to the Ops level, where the members had their private rooms. But instead of going East from the elevator towards her room, Supergirl went West, towards where the male members of the team were housed. She had checked the logs when she arrived, so she knew that Robin was here. And with her heart pounding, partially for reasons that had nothing to do with the threat they all faced, Kara knocked on Robin's door.

Red Robin has posed:
Robin was in his room. He was just relaxing. There was music playing in the background, something by Taio Cruz. He had a notebook computer on his desk, with an article about a fire in Gotham City Stadium. And he wore a plain charcoal grey t-shirt and blue sweat pants. He was relaxing in his room, after all. But the mask was on. He never took it off at the tower in front of other people, and apparently being alone in a room with the window open counted as 'in front of people'. Getting up from his chair, he walked over and opened the door. But not before grabbing a batarang, just in case. He quietly palmed it, ready to make use in case of an attack. He was so paranoid, it wasn't even funny. But when he saw Kara, his stance softened and he smiled at her. "Hello Kara, what's up?"

Supergirl has posed:
When Robin answers the door, Kara blinks in surprise, given how casually he's dressed. The mask doesn't surprise her, but the shirt and sweatpants do. For a moment, she fears that she's interrupting his sleep, which brings some light color to her cheeks. "Oh. I'm sorry, Robin. I....I hope I'm not disturbing you." She looks around the hallway, a slight frown on her lips. "Is it okay if I came in? To talk about...what we were discussing last night. But it's okay if this isn't a good time." Kara laughs nervously and holds up her hands.

Red Robin has posed:
Robin steps aside, allowing her in, and while the body language may seem formal, very Batman-like, despite his attire, he smiles at her, and he gestures for her to come in with his free hand. Afterwards, he'll close the door. He has a mini fridge in his room, "can I get you anything? I have water, orange juice, apples, bananas, oranges... I think Beast Boy gave me a box of candy bars." He tries to keep fit, so candy is usually out. But not always. Thankfully, he has well honed metabolism. "And, for the record, it's always a good time for you."

Supergirl has posed:
The compliment makes Kara smile and she looks around for something to sit on. "I'm fine, thanks," she replies to the offer of refreshment. Deciding on the couch in the room, Supergirl sits down, setlting into the seat cushions and smoothing her skirt. "I just had a talk with my...clone," she starts off, still having some difficulty with the notion that someone cloned her. "And with my cousin. And we found out more about who created her. And how much they know." Kara takes a breath, resting her elbows on her legs and leaning forward. "They're called Cadmus. And they're a branch of SHIELD; tasked with devising weapons and strategies to fight all of us. Aliens. Mutants...all superhumans. In case the government needs to stop us." And Kara clearly looks uncomfrotable with that concept, withdrawing a bit. "They believe they're patriots. Preparing for a defense of humanity against the superhuman. They're lead by a woman named Amanda Waller. And while they are exceptionally concerned with people like me, my cousin...superhumans in general. They are apparently not concerned about 'normal' heroes like you and Batman." Supergirl smiles at Robin, one cheek raised higher. "A rather stupid flaw in their plan, I think. Anyways. Superman and I agreed we'd warn our respective teams. And...we'd also like to take you up on your offer of help in investigating this group. And the help of the Batman, if possible."

Red Robin has posed:
Robin watched her. He liked her. He liked having her in his life. He liked having her on the team. He was happy. He listened to her story, nodding his head at key points, taking note of what she had to say. It all made sense. Some of it he knew, some he suspected, and some was new to him. He wasn't exactly dressed for adventure, but as she spoke, he opened his closet. He had a walk in closet. How come he got that? She didn't get a walk in closet in her room. Must have been a perk of being the team leader. But he walked into his closet, still responding with an okay, a hmm, a yes, all signs that he was listening. While in the closet, he changed quickly into his costume. And when he got out, he saw her ask for his help, and Batman's. With the conviction of a man, not a boy, of a hero in his own right, Robin said in absolute clarity. "Let's go." He was all about getting down to business. He was given a mission. And he wasn't about to stop until he had completed it, with her help. He offered his hand to her as she sat, and he smiled at her.

Supergirl has posed:
Supergirl looks amazed at Robin. "Just like that?" she asks with a smile. "I mean...I just wanted to inform you. Warn you. I just told you that my family and I...we're facing a powerful faction of one of the most powerful organizations on Earth. And you're ready to just jump right in." She takes the offered hand, squeezing it lightly as she stands. Somehow, she can punch through a battle tank with that hand, but her skin feels soft and warm. "Okay," she says once she's back on her feet. "What's your plan here?"

Red Robin has posed:
"I don't know much about Cadmus except that it's bad news and connected to S.H.I.E.L.D. I don't go near S.H.I.E.L.D. without talking to Batman. Kara, I think it's time you saw the Batcave." After all, she was Superman's cousin. Superman knew of the Batcave, had been there. There really wasn't any harm in bringing Supergirl. And besides, he wanted her to see it. He felt strange about her. He liked her. He like, liked her. And he liked that he like, liked her.

Supergirl has posed:
"Wait..." Supergirl blinks a few times. "You're saying you work out of a cave. An actual cave...." Upon reflection, it's no sillier than a crystiline fortress above the Arctic circle. "Huh. I thought that was just a myth to make you two sound scarier. Like...monsters or something." She takes a deep breath, feeling a bit proud, and a bit scared, that she was gaining trust so easily in the partner of someone not known for being very trusting. But even though she'd never met the Batman, she knew Robin was different. And different in a better way. After all the stories she'd heard, she couldn't imagine Batman ever smiling, much less having a smile as nice as Robin's. Or treating her with kindness and respect right off the first meeting. Kara may not know much about Robin, but she knew that she liked what she had seen of him so far; what he had let her see of himself. And the fact that he was letting her in, giving her glimpses that he didn't give others, it made Kara feel honored and special.

"Okay," she says, smiling at Robin in admiration. "Are you sure Batman is going to be okay with this? Shouldn't you ask his permission first?" As she asks, kara makes a mental note to ask Kal if she could take Robin to show him the Fortress someday.

Red Robin has posed:
"Kara, I don't offer this lightly. But Batman trusts me. And I trust him. We're a team, even when I'm here with the Titans, we are still partners." He thinks of Batman as a father figure, even though he has a father. He also thinks of him as an older brother. It's hard to explain. There are times when he's the surrogate son, and times when he's the younger brother. But no matter what the situation, he is family, and a trusted friend. "We can take the R-Cycle. I have a spare helmet." She may not need it, but it was the law. Of course, she could fly him there much faster. Would he want to be carried by her though?

Supergirl has posed:
Supergirl seems to have picked up the Martian ability of telepathy, becasue she asks, "Or, I could just fly us there? It'd be quicker." She looks like she's eager to take this bird flying, at first. Then, she nods. "Your choice," she says. "I trust you, Robin. You lead, and I'll follow. No matter where we go." Then, hesitantly, she slowly reaches out and takes his hand in hers, smiling softly with the contact.

Red Robin has posed:
Robin takes her hands, smiling at her. "I've... never flown... like that before." He seems curious, a little hesitant, but willing to give it a try. He trusts in things that he can quantify. Kryptonians were an unstable element. But he liked this one. He liked her a lot. "Can you fly us to Grant in Nantwich?"

Supergirl has posed:
With the change in transportation requested, Kara confirms Robin's question with a nod. "I can fly us anywhere on Earth. Coast City, Star City, Washington, London, Tokyo...." And now, with both of them ready, Supergirl finds herself in the lead as she heads out of the room and uses the elevator to get up to the roof. All while still holding Robin's hand.

On top of the roof, Supergirl takes them right to the edge. She stops holding Robin's hand, and slides her arm around his wasit. "Okay, just...put your arm around my wasit, too...like we're dancing."

Red Robin has posed:
Robin hesitates, but he does as instructed. His body will be very close to hers. He blushes a little, not used to being so intimately pressing against someone, especially Kara. But he does as she told him. He holds her. He presses his body to hers. This was going to be an embarrassing flight. Hopefully the concern over flying so exposed will prevent him from getting excited. It'd certainly get his heart pumping. "Okay, let's go."

Supergirl has posed:
Kara holds Robin close, her cheeks blushing as she hears his heart beating louder. Her own heartbeat was pounding, but that was because Robin was so close to her now. A smile to him and she says, "Okay." And the duo slowly lift up into the air.

It's a gradual ascent, Supergirl letting her passenger get used to the feeling. She listens Robin's heart, making sure she's not flying too fast for his comfort at any one time. She doesn't go too high, either; maybe about the height of the tallest buildings in Gotham. Gradually, she picks up speed as they fly away from the Tower, heading in the direction Robin incidated. Once they reach the speed of a helicopter, Supergirl looks at Robin, long blonde hair billowing from the wind, and asks. "Are you okay? We can go faster or slower if you want. Just let me know." Flying is her favorite ability, and Kara can't imagine anyone else she'd rather share this feeling of freedom with than Robin.

Red Robin has posed:
Tim's enjoyed many things in his young life. He's driven the R-Cycle. He's driven the batmobile... once... when Batman was out of town. That reminds him, he still has to wash it another 274 more times before his punishment is over. He's flown the batplane, batcopter, batboat, and even some things that aren't called bat-something. He's fought criminals. He's done more living than most people do in their entire life. But he's never experienced anything as exhilarating as flying through the air without anything but the wind. His cape billows majestically. His ruffles, but somehow, his mask stays on. He must use an adhesive on that thing or something. "We can go faster," he finally ads. He was enjoying this so much. He was smiling brightly.
