Aquawoman has posed:
In the Atlantean Royal Palace, Mera is....standing? Floating? Whatever....in that main chamber. With bident in hand and adorned in that form fitting scale suit, Mera is speaking with a guard it seems with a look of determination on her face. "I want them to do it....again. There was no confusion in my words. How does one improve if they don't continue to practice...."

Crusader has posed:
    And up above the Royal palace was a most...unusual creature. Upon first look it resembles a massive manta-ray. This one underbelly resembles the nightsky, and the top of it was pure white with a tribal golden sun coverings it back and a single cobalt blue gem upon it's forhead. It seemed to lack eyes, and in a strange way seemed to have a beard made of tendril like whiskers that moved as gracefully as the creature did through the water.
    The unsual creature, weather of this sea...or perhaps an alien one, circled above, seeming at the moment harmless, but its unusual nature seemed to garner the attention of other guards as they were unsure if the creature warrented investigation.

Aquawoman has posed:
Of course someone came and reported it to Mero, a couple of guards quickly making their way in. Hearing the report, her brow would raise as she started to make her way out. "Stay here....I don't need an incident if its not serious...." With that she stepped outside of an archway and shot off like a bullet in the water. Aquaman might be fast but this woman was twice as fast and if not as strong as her husband. Slowing down as she neared the creature she kept a grip on bident as she looked it up before finally speaking up. ".....you seemed to have alarmed my guards......state your business....." A smirk tugs at her lips. "Or are you sightseeing?"

Crusader has posed:
    Despite the lack of a mouth the sting-ray had no problem speaking "One is sightseeing" comes the oddly metalic sounding voice. The creature was not in any rush and drifted lazedly overhead and loops under Mera and back to it's orignal spot before drifting too and fro "One tends to alarm people in many manners." a pause "One has yet to meet an atlantian beyound Aquaman. You very much resemble humans" it notes "Do all atlantians share this trait?"

Aquawoman has posed:
Looking the being over she rests her bident on her shoulder now, almost lazily. "I'm actually...." She stops and then nods. "....I'm from Xebel but same concept. But yes...we do all very much resemble those on the surface...." Mera keeps those blue eyes trained on the creature as she speaks. "Oh so you've met my husband....why am I not surprised...." Chuckling she nods then. "Are you able to speak where there's no water? Or prefer it?"

Crusader has posed:
"...Husband....so you must be Queen Mera" the creature muses. It offers a bow...well as much as a stingray form can allow. It was formal...but also casual, as if Matching Mera lazy vibe. "Yes, One is able to speak where there is no water" a pause "Though fair warning...One can be quite different in different places" it didn't come off as a threat, but rather as if askance of patience for any discrepancies in how he acts.

Aquawoman has posed:
"Now I'm curious.....how you know my name?" Chuckling she just nods then as she motions for....him....it to follow. "Come then....." Mera turns and starts to swim back to that palace. "I can at accommodate you....." Keeping at a normal swimming speed she simply starts to head back from where she came then, expecting him to follow.

Crusader has posed:
The entity folows along quite easily "Well, Aquaman is Arthur Curry...or Orin as Atalanteans know him and is recognized as King of Atlantis. He does not keep a 'secret' identity as many heros do. That and Atlantis does keep diplomatic contact through the United Nations - in otherwords, between Royalty Names being 'public' knowledge, and you saying Aquaman was your husband, one was able to figure it out" a pause "Sorry, One can be a bit long winded"
    As they approach the palace proper, the creature rapidly shoots forward and weaves among the pillars with enthuasiam, seeming to enjoy them.

Aquawoman has posed:
"Yes well I'm more of a homebody as he calls me. I only go to the surface when I have to but....Orin has been encouraging me to do so since we're doing the embassy." And was it took off, she just watched it. Shaking her head slightly she shoots off quickly to go back through that archway that led to the audience chamber. As she landed there she waited for him to make his way in, walking over to the throne and leaning her bident against her seat. When he does arrive, she nods then. "Let me know when you're ready....." Slowly she starts to put her hands together. Mera didn't want to crush him by accident.

Crusader has posed:
There was a pause from the creature as it followed her to the throne room. It seems to cant it's head curiousely, since despite knowing her name...that does not imply knowing her or any other atlanteans capabilities, save breathing underwater. "Hmmm. One is ready" he finally says after several moments "And one is in agreement with you Husband. Traveling is quite amazing"

Aquawoman has posed:
"Yes well....I'm working on it." A slight chuckle as she slowly pulls her hands apart and that water seems to form a large bubble in the center of the room. Slowly she'd step into it and there's....nothing but air. Exhaling she just looks at him from there as she motions for him to come into the pocket of waterless space she formed for them. "It's safe to come in."

Crusader has posed:
The Manta drifts lazedfly into the sphere of water, shaking himself off, water splattering about. He floats there a moment....before his form changes in a very fluid manor as if made of some sort of goo. Within seconds, he forms into a pure white orc-like creature. A spear can be seen on his back. He stretches "By Juthuuuum!" he shakes his head and laughs "That is of the feeling of weird! So, Mera Shara ata cara, what be the deal with the air bubble?" he asks in a deep beastial voice. He now had an air of...aggression and excitment about him as if ready for a fight. But the sensation was one of an enemy enganging in battle...but of friends preparing to engage in a brawl. he grins tuskedly, seemingly almost if not like a completly different person

Aquawoman has posed:
Raising her brow she doesn't step back as she watches him but merely....observes. Slowly a brow raises as she looks him over then stares at him. "It's just....Mera...." She then puts a hand on her hip as she stares at him with those blue eyes. "What do you mean? You said you could speak in this so....I made you an air bubble." She raises that free hand and the bubble starts to shrink slowly. "I can take it away....." A smirk tugs at her lips then. "...but the see might crush you."

Crusader has posed:
"Aye...but not need air bubble, efter all, was talking to you just fine out there. And one does not need to breath air either" he thumbs to the outside of the bubble. "Right, right, thousand of feet below the surface. No offense Queeny, but the sea can not crush this bod" he even flex his arms unbashedly..before he pause "Though judging by what you just did, bet you could" he says with a boisterous laugh. He clearly didn't feel threatened or nervous about the ocean, and excited seeing Mera capabilities "So how you an orin meet anyways?"

Aquawoman has posed:
Those blue eyes widen ever so slightly at his demeanor and Mer just chuckles a bit. "I mean....I don't need the ocean to crush someone...." A smirk tugs at her lips as she puts her hand down, that bubble's shrinking coming to a halt. Exhaling she then starts to walk in a circle around the strange man then stops in front of him. "Well I met him here....." A shrug as she takes a step back. "Simple as that. I came here from Xebel and we got to know each other."

Vorn chuckles looking down at Mera "...that sounds like a challenge. Like challenges" he muses. "And one thing lead to the next and you folks got hitched" he muses. He chuckles "Well, a Lucky man and woman if ever seen a pair! Never met someone...but still holding out hope" he rubs his beard and glances up "Somewhere out there anyways"

Mera would smirk a bit then s she looks him over then chuckles as backs up. "I think my husband doesn't want me getting in needless fights. As much as I would love to put my old training to use....I have an example to set...." A grin as she then. "And yes....it was a process. I'm not the easiest to get along with it at time...." There was a shrug then but then she smiles. "I'm sure. I'm not big on that true love thing....I think if it happens....it happens. Are there people for everyone? No clue. But....I got lucky....I just had to come to another planet...."

Vorn chuckles "Well, think there is true love, but not at first sight. Love takes time and love takes work. At the very least, gotta know the other person" he muses. "But as far as examples go...well guess you WOULD be setting a proper example of how to take a fello down" he grins widely "But as you say" About 7 seconds later "....wait YOUR AN ALIEN!?!?!?!" he exclaims in surprise

Chuckling she just shakes her head. "Let me put it this way....I swim twice as fast as Orin.....and I can take him sometimes I'm sure...." A shrug as she then raises her brow at the exclamation. Those guards in the room snap to but she just raises her hand. A roll of her eyes and she nods. "Yes....I am from somewhere else...." Mera just gives a shrug then. "Shocking....I know."

Vorn cants his head "Havenea really seen Orin capabilities cept once or twice...so it doesnea mean much as a reference points. Regardless, not much care when it means a fight" he says, implying he would take on just about anyone, no matter how much stronger they are than him
    He than looks around at the guards "Oh relax. Yeesh, and here thought New Yorkers were easily alarmed' he snorts and looks to mera "Your from another planet. Yes it is shocking. Sure, be an alien too, with 12 or so minds, but least folks can normally tell that not from this from" he laughs "Now you are even more a curiosity"

Aquawoman has posed:
"Well essentially....I swim fast....I can take a hit....give a hit....and control water." Mera lets out a laugh as she nods. "My husband has other things but...that's on him to display or tell...." Giving him a shrug she just goes back to circling him a bit...curious. "What do you mean? How am I a curiosity?"

Crusader has posed:
"Well, at a quick glance, you look to be 100 percent earth born. The idea your an alien, make you a curiosity. Was your planet one with a hydrosphere? Or was it earth like? Or perhaps atlanteans are actually aliens, and you come and go from this world. Hmm or potentially, your species imprints on others, so you simply look and function like an earthern atlantean despite not actually being one? When one sentence infers being from space, or a space-born creature, you open up ALOT of possibilities"
    "Well, long as well telling. Can take und give hit. You seen shapeshifting is part of powers. And...well got perhaps a bit of electrokinises under belt" the way he says it...implies he has a bit more than a little. A wink "A few other tricks...but they not matter so much"

Aquawoman has posed:
"It's....complicated?" Laughing a bit Mera gives a wave then. "This is home for me now so that's all that matter. Needless to say....we are amphibious....so I can bring on land as well as I can in the water. Not a lot of Atlanteans can do so or just not long..." She then stops as she looks to him. "Ah....so essentially I am what would be called...Hydrokinetic...." A shrug as she smirk but then backs up. "But I digress....how do you know Orin? You said you met him?"

"Aye. We are both in the Justice league...well he is in, while yourse truely is more a close ally. Met him once when a shapeshifter infiltrated the league, but we did not get to chat, so it was more in passing. And another...." a pause "Aha, at a gathering having to do with the Embossy. But it was again more in passing" pause "Actually, think mighta been in a different form, so he may not have actually recognized me. Yea, probably didn't." he laughs

Aquawoman has posed:
Mera nods then as she smiles. "Well...good to know. I have yet to meet this League. Orin insists I should and perhaps join...." A shrug then as she moves around him a moment longer then smiles. "Well I will have to tell him you were nearby. What is the name you go by with him?"
