Cast of Characters: Marvel Boy, Starfire, Mon-El

Marvel Boy has posed:
It's the middle of the afternoon when Noh-Varr decides to hang out on top of a large statue in the middle of Central Park. He's fiddling with things on one of his gauntlets, causing super geometrical holographic displays to pop up and swirl around.

He's gotten odd readings on this planet occasionally, but they tend to be somewhat brief.

There's clearly an alien presence on Earth, other than him, but he's yet to gain access to alien technology other than his own. So he spends the day scanning away, monitoring things, trying to find an opportunity, a //sign// of some sort...

Starfire has posed:
A fiery contrail comes from the direction of the bay, showing itself as an orange-skinned Tamaranean female, the fire coming from her hair - what clothing she wears is in a bright shade of purple. She appears to just be flying towards the Empire State Building, crossing directly over that large statue in Central Park.

Mon-El has posed:
Certainly, there are a -lot- of other alien presences on Earth besides Noh-Varr. Tamaraneans being one of them; Kryptonians and Daxamites being another. And there are probably still others, even. Speaking of Daxamites, Lar Gand is down on the ground, in the park below, standing on the Bow Bridge that arches over The Lake southwest of the Great Lawn. He is sort of gazing out across the water, looking wistful.

Marvel Boy has posed:
A strange energy detection suddenly pops up on a holographic screen, and all of it vanishes when Noh-Varr looks up and sees Koriand'r starting to fly overhead.

There are many ways in which he could react, or grab her attention, or overall do something sensible.

So of course he just yells, loud enough for anyone to hear, "Tamaranean!!!" at the top of his lungs, standing up on the statue and pointing.

Starfire has posed:
Koriand'r stops suddnly at that, turning in midair to stare down at the one calling out like that. She approaches, slowly, verdant energy engulfing her hands as she watches Noh-Varr cautiously. She stays twenty feet away, staring at him, saying nothing, but looking ready to brawl.

Mon-El has posed:
Lar looks up when someone suddenly starts shouting about Tamaraneans. He doesn't recognize Noh-Varr, but Koriand'r he is familiar with. Nothing seems to have happened just yet though, so he doesn't get involved, instead just waits to see if he needs to intervene or not.

Marvel Boy has posed:
"Wait, you're not just //any// Tamaranean!" Noh-Varr stares at her, taking note of her combat stance, but he isn't one to be particularly put off by that. Instead, he suddenly smiles wide. "Princess Koriand'r of Tamaran! Of all the people to see on this barbaric rock!"

Starfire has posed:
Unfortunately, someone wearing a Kree spacesuit and bearing Kree technology knowing her name... she assumes the worst as she fires emerald energy out of her eyes that just misses you, flanking your head by inches, probably enough to leave a minor sunburn. "Speak your intent," she growls, enraged, the energy around her hands crackling. "And you _better_ hope I like what I hear. If you came here to hunt me, I will bury you here." The normally-cheerful personality of Starfire was absent. What is here now, is... something darker. That will take no prisoners. She is acting as if she assumes this Kree agent is a bounty hunter.

Mon-El has posed:
Then Koriand'r attacks the man, who by his attire, technology and likely physiology is Kree. Well, more like a warning shot. Lar tenses a little, watching and wary, but doesn't get involved just yet. He might have been more nosy before, but now he knows better. Really, there were not too many situations that occurred on Earth every day that actually required intervention by someone as strong as he is--and he'd rather not risk causing any unnecessary damage.

Marvel Boy has posed:
Noh-Varr suddenly jumps back, allowing the poor statue to get a hole blown through it, while he stands on its head. "Hold on!" he holds his hands up. His gauntlets, if anyone knows Kree technology, should clearly be able to t urn into weapons, but he doesn't shift them at all.

"My name is Noh-Varr, of the 18th Kree Diplomatic Gestalt. I'm permanently stranded here from another universe. Where I'm from, I had a diplomatic meeting with the Tamaranians." he tries to explain, though he's on edge, sort of waiting for more possible blasts. "You're Princess Koriand'r, I was hoping you'd be nice in this universe too."

Starfire has posed:
Koriand'r frowns softly. "I can be nice..." she states softly, as the emerald energy slowly dissipates. "I must hvae assumed you were a bounty hunter. My sister has a price on my head." She slumps. "You just yelling 'Tamaranean' like that, then yelling my name... I... well..." She slumps. "How do you know me?" she asks. "I have had no dealing with the Kree."

Marvel Boy has posed:
"The you from my universe, you were on Tamaran during the mission. If I remember right, it was something to do with the Skrulls... before we negotiated peace with the Skrulls, it was //always// something to do with the Skrulls." Noh-Varr rolls his eyes at that.

//Skrulls//.

"In this universe, things seem to be different, or else why would you be on this dirt rock?" he considers, looking her over, rubbing his chin in deep thought. "Since I'm stranded in this universe, I've been trying to learn the current state of intergalactic politics before I even think of trying to leave this planet."

Starfire has posed:
Koriand'r nods. "I can give you some informatoin. But my sister rigged a coup after her disability precluded her being crown princess... and it tore my world apart. Literally. Tamaran is lifeless, a radioactive slagheap. Nobody can go there for centuries. And the government on the world that most of them went to aren't too fond of the royalty so..." She sighs softly. "I don't know about current events. All I get is peacemeal information when the Starfire comes by - it'll be a while. I have to lay low. My sister is still with the Psions. If she knew I was here... she'd rain hell on this planet..."

Marvel Boy has posed:
"So, Tamaran is dead." Noh-Varr crosses his arms, allowing this information to sink in. "The longer I stay here, the more I think I came to the universe where space is just in flames."

He reaches out with his hand, offering it to her, though he obviously can't fly, so he just waits for her. "Princess Koriand'r, I'll help the royal family however I can, even if it means protecting you on this nightmare rock. I don't know anything about the Kree in this universe, but the Tamaranian royal family are now under //my// protection. If they come to Earth, because I don't have a ship anymore."

Starfire has posed:
Koriand'r shakes her head. "There's just one problem," she mutters softly. "The cause of all of Tamaran's woes is a royal as well." She ponders. "There is a T-shaped tower in the harbor south of here. Go there and tell the Titans that Starfire sent you. If you need a place to live, and stay, that's where I base my home. The Titans are the hero team that took me in when _I_ came here. If you wish, you can stay there in a guest room, and we can see if you could join us. A Kree is a formidiable warrior. If you are anything like the ones I've heard about, such prowess would be welcome in the fight against the criminal element."

Marvel Boy has posed:
"I'll think about it. And you make a good point, so //you're// under my protection." Noh-Varr decides to narrow his scope, then jumps down from the statue. "I might check with these Titans, I'm not sure yet. I'm very unsure about Earth, and humans. But I'll think about it."

Starfire has posed:
Koriand'r nods. "They took me in. You can trust them. I do." She then nods. "But I'm late for something at the Empire State Building. Noh-Varr, was it? I look forward to seeing you soon." With that, she kicks off and flies north.
