Erddrache has posed:
While Xaivers School for gifted Youngster certainly teaches the standard (and perhaps above standard) education they would need for their lives, the school of course also taught their students responsbile use of their powers, as well as encourgaed using them safely.
    And that is where some students find themselves today. Power training - similar to gym class but with more of a kick! Right now the class was in 'Open Use' time where the teachers are mostly observing for the sidelines, while the kids utilize their abilities.
    This day, the shaker of earth, Boris, was teamed up with Rift and Kaydin to see what they can do togeather with their abilities.

Kaydin LeGraize has posed:
    "There is this sausage place in germany I found makes the best bratwursts known to man. They use these special seasonings and meats." Kaydin says before vanishing in a blur. He comes back with a bratwurst sausage in a hotdog bun in each hand and offers one to Rift and one to Boris.

Rift has posed:
Rift noms her dog as she's hovering a foot off the ground, so Boris's shaking won't mess with her. "Well, Boris. Here's a fun one - can you stop Kaydin?" she asks as she floats around, grinning. "And... can you do something to ME." She sighs softly. "I'm off the ground..."

Erddrache has posed:
Boris blinks "...we are nit supposed ta be eatin during class sie know" he says in his deep voice. "...bit vanks. Ah will save et fer efter" he sniffs the dog and boy did it smell good. He sets it by his stuff...a bite missing from it as the dwarf obviously took a bite
    "Considerin Kaydin jist wen ta da muthor land...nit sure ah could stahp him" he looks to rift "...or reach yer...mabey? Hard ta say...though ah vink were supposed ta werk togeather...nit take each oother doon?" he asks unsure.
    "Oh vell...worth a shot. Let see whit we kin be doink" and with that Boris jumps up...and goes down, dissappearing into the earth below, ripples hardening like a fossil of what went through.

Kaydin LeGraize has posed:
    "We can work together." Kaydin says as he smiles at the others and looks up to the woman. He then looks as the dwarf sinks into the earth. He then begins stretching and ready for anything. He then looks up to rift and begins to spin his arm at her, sending a funnel of air to try and knock her out of the air.

Rift has posed:
Rift squawks as she is blown away a bit. She darts to the side to dodge and then exerts her influence over Kaydin, a glowing red ring forming undre his feet, increasing gravity fivefold - enough weight to pin a normal person to the ground as she rises up a few more feet, focusing, the red ring expanding slowly.

Erddrache has posed:
Boris moves beneath the ground. As a tactile geokinitic...he can't exactly lift boulders into the air, he needs to stay touching the earth. But...that doesn't mean he doesn't have tricks up his sleeve.
    the tops of Boris fins appear as they circle around like a sharp. Dipping down and dissappearing momentarily before reappearing...before simply dissappearing.
    And thats when it happen - Boris launches himself out of the ground suddenly and tries to more or less piggy back onto Rift. If he does this successfully...well than rift is going to have a 500 pound dwarf on her back!

Kaydin LeGraize has posed:
    Now Kaydin was fast. He hasnt clocked his maximium speed but he does regularly run from seattle to Westchester at a regular basis. Still by the time the gravity field comes he groans as he wasnt fast enough to avoid being pinned by the gravity and is held down by increased forces. He tries to move but his power is speed, not strength, so he is effectively pinned down.

Rift has posed:
Rift isn't superstrong either. She manipulates large items by lowering their gravity. But concentratino is necessary to do this - and with a large heavy dwarf suddenly clinging to her, she plummets and thuds to the ground before she can react. She groans as she shakes her head, dazed, the impact jarring her enough that the gravity-trap around Kaydin winks out. "It's not over yet," she states, as her glowing aura expands to Boris. She suddenly starts to levitate, taking her hitchhiker with her, making him feel weightless, still rubbing her head.

Erddrache has posed:
Weightless and dwarf do not go togeather. Boris clings to Rift tightly! Perhaps too tightly. For safty reasons, warning were given out about students and their abilities...and boris was warned to not have the best controls over his. Panic setting in, boris grip was begining to enter potential bone crushing territory "Kaydin! Git me doon, git me doon!" nope, he does not like feeling weightless at all!

Kaydin LeGraize has posed:
    Kaydin gets up and looks up to see the floating dwarf and Rift also floating. He would find the whole thing funny if it werent for the panic in Boris' Voice, forcing him to act. He begins to run in circles around them. "Let go of her!" He calls out, his image bluring into motion and lightning as he blasts around them. Once Boris lets go, he leaps into the gravity field, hoping his momentium was enough to pull him and Boris out of it.

Rift has posed:
Rift shrieks as Boris' desperate grabbing cracked a rib and her aura winks out. Now just looking like a relatively-normal redhead Japanese, she falls, everything back to normal weight as she groans, clutching the injury as Kaydin somehow gets Boris off of her as she just hits the ground hard, stunned.

Erddrache has posed:
Boris grip was like steel. But Kaydin voice breaks through and he manages to let go, and is tackled out of the forcefield by Kaydin. Or would have been if cracking Rift rib didn't distort her powers.
    When Boris touches the ground, the entire yard could feel the ground shaking. And immediatly two of the teacher approches as they heard (and felt) the commotion. One quickly says "Is everyone alright?"

Kaydin LeGraize has posed:
    As soon as Kaydin and Boris touch ground, he moves quickly. He moves to Kitora hoping to try and catch her once he noticed she fell hard. He moves as he wraps an arm around her. As soon as she was pressed against him, her own body was imbued with the speed force, forcing her body to heal quickly. Kaydin just tries to keep ahold of her hoping the aura would heal her.

Rift has posed:
Rift winces. "I... I scared him..." she gasps sharply, short of breath as she stares up at Kaydin. "What's... what's going on...?" she gasps, writhing as something weird is happening. "Everything's going all blurry... staticky..."

Erddrache has posed:
One of the teachers, knowing kaydin abilities, says to Rift "Relax, Kaydin is just helping your body heal faster" They than looks to Kaydin "And what about you, are you alright?"
    The other teacher, another geokinitic assigned to this class because of Boris volitial control (most class have some teacher that can help) ever so subtle lifts the earth beneath Boris, limiting his siesmic activity greatly. "Boris, calm down. We been through this, you need to try and control your reactions"
    Boris...was throughly red and embrassed. And looking absolutely worried as he looks to Kaydin and rift saying multiple times "Ah be sorry! Ye be okay?" he says clearly worried.

Kaydin LeGraize has posed:
    The speed force ripples around the girl. A bird flying by looks as if it was moving at a snail's pace. While the teacher is heard at normal speed, their lips dont move at the same speed. The only thing moving at the same speed as her is Kaydin of course. "This is what it looks like for me." He says, for once not sounding rushed or hyperactive.

Rift has posed:
Rift nods. "So - it's like you live two days for every one of ours... normal life must be so slow, so boring..." she muses softly as her body is healing fast. "Neat trick - you could become a pocket healer..." She looks over at Boris. "I'm sorry - I didn't realize how acrophobic you were, dear Boris..."

Erddrache has posed:
Boris...has some trouble understanding the words kaydin says, having to really listen. And likewise, tis was true of Rift. But he manages to hear some of it "...Ah nit be acrophobic" he says. he does so quietly as he still felt guilty. The teachers signal for the other students to return to what their doing

Kaydin LeGraize has posed:
    Kaydin shrugs as he looks over to Boris. "You alright?" He asks slow enough to be understood. He then looks to the girl. He was practically hugging her and he waits for her to heal. "Feel better?" He asks curiously as he looks to the girl and waits for her response.

Rift has posed:
Rift slowly sighs. "It's easing up," she states as her aura starts to reignite. "Thank you, Kaydin. YOu make a great emergency healer," she states. "I... I can't channel my powers if I'm hurt... not easily... it's... a recurring problem." She stands and leaves the Speed Force aura, everything looking normal again. "No harm done," she muses, kneeling down to be at his eye level. "You were scared. It's not your fault."

Erddrache has posed:
With Rift all right, things go back to schedual. One teacher leaves, while the geokinitic stays. Boris crosses his arms "Ah...be fine" he says in response to Kaydin. Though as Rift knees down and reiterates that no harm was done and that he was scared, Boris seems to fume "Ah was nit scared!" he bristles as fear turns to anger - his emotions being as unstable as his abilities.
    The teacher pipes up "Boris. Enough. Rift and kaydin just wanted to make sure you were fine. Remember what we talked about? When your feeling shaken up, to cerment yourself back in place? Breath. Be still like a rock" Boris was grumbling, but he none the less closes his eyes.
    The teacher looks to Rift and Kaydin "Do you two need a snack? I know that speed can do a number on peoples stomechs"

Kaydin LeGraize has posed:
    "Now that you mention it I am feeling a little peckish." Kaydin says as he walks over to Boris and smiles at the dwarf. "The important thing is everyone is alright. Happy ending." Kaydin says with a grin and he looks to the others. "Anyway what now?" He asks as once more he has the difficulty of standing in one place with them.

Rift has posed:
Rift smiles. "What's for lunch?" she coooos as she smiles. "You know my appetite is just like him. Breaking the laws of physics takes a lot of energy. Though I think I don't eat as hugely as I used to..." She smiles. "Sorry I goaded you two to try to take me down."

Erddrache has posed:
The teacher pulls out bags of swedish fish and hands one to Rift and one to Kaydin "Lunch is not for another half hour...and Kaydin, don't think I didn't see you with those sausages" And for boris...he gets a bag of pebbles.
    "Speaking of which. Kitora, and Kaydin you both should know better. These classes are not about fighting, but about controlling abilities. We already have to worry about you kids getting hurt on accident without actually fighting each other" the teacher says.
    "But we will talk about that latter. Kaydin, please see Kitora gets to the infirmary before comming...just to be on the safe side. Boris, once you have calmed down, please join the group for the next part of class"
