Cast of Characters: Albert Wesker, Chris Redfield

Albert Wesker has posed:
There are somethings Wesker does enjoy, one of course is gem collecting. Not stealing no he is right now actually looking to buy. Using his own eye peice to search for and identify some quality gems among the refuse. And with this has managed to secure a few thousant dollars worth of gems.

Diamonds, Emeralds, Rubies and Sapphires, Topaz as well. In sets of cut gems. Right now he is heading slow to the food court, looking to of all things get ice cream. Who would believe that for one moment that a big bad international criminal woul dbe just hanging out in a mall of all places?

Chris Redfield has posed:
Just as strange is the S.H.I.E.L.D. agent in the mall security office, leaning over the regular monitoring guy's shoulder and staring at the monitors like an angry hawk. Getting mall security to cooperate was easy enough, surprisingly so considering Redfield showed up alone and without a warrant, but the longer he stands there like that, practically jamming his face into the screens, the more uneasy the monitor and the security supervisor watching from behind them get. Just about the time the rotund supervisor is ready to say something, Redfield jabs a stiff finger at a camera in the foot court, giving an oblique angle that just catches the tall frame of Wesker amid the crowd and from a great distance.

It's barely recognizable as a man, but Redfield says, "That's him," and turns from the cameras to head for the monitoring room door while barking orders. "Evacuate that wing and call nine-one-one."

"Now just wait a minute," the fat security manager objects. "That's not an I-D. That's," he squints and leans toward the monitor, "is that even a -guy-?"

Chris Redfield is already out the door, running up the hall. He stops to consult one of those big, free-standing mall maps. YOU ARE HERE. Okay. Only about a 3.5 block run. He takes off at a sprint, dodging between surprised shoppers, while the security officers do indeed dial nine-one-one. Who exactly they're reporting remains to be seen.

Albert Wesker has posed:
As the area suddenly seems to be filing out of people Wesker looks around the area and smiles. "Well seems someone has recognized me." she he will simply start to walk slowly briefcase in hand, which holds the gems he has. And slowly heads for one of the main open areas. Wesker has better tactical area in the open as he waits, courious, interested, and very intrigued as to who will come after him. Granted getting into an area with people would be better if it is a super human. Still he is standing there keeping his eyes on the area. Watching waiting.

Chris Redfield has posed:
There's actually no one coming for Wesker except, or until, the drumming footsteps of an approaching Chris Redfield come hammering up the big main hall. He braces his feet to come to an abrupt halt, keeping himself far enough back from Wesker to keep clear of the man's arms and - if he has the tentacle reach of a Nemesis - that too. "Don't even think about it, Chief," he barks out at Wesker, one hand on the butt of his holstered pistol.

It's not until Chris' arrival, and then a few seconds past, that mall security shows up, catching up winded and exhausted after an all-out run that didn't even make him break a sweat. The dozen yellow-shirted officers circle up around and behind Redfield, drawing tazers and bringing their bright-red laser targeting dots to bear on his leather jacketed arms and back.

"There's nowhere to run, Wesker," Redfield goes on, oblivious. "You're surrounded and emergency services is on the way. Your two ways out are in my custody or in a specimen jar."

Albert Wesker has posed:
As Chris suddenly comes around the corner he sighs and says, "Chris you always were my best Agent. Though I expected a faster responce time from you." he says Wesker of course looks at the Tasers. "Didn't our encounter in Antarctica teach you anything? Oh Chris, they have their tasers out but not pointed at me, you may want to turn around and see where those little red lights are pointed at." he says with a smile.

Wesker's mind is in the Zone he's waiting tenced ready to react and show Chris just how much he needs to improve. Chris taken down by MAll security that would amuse Wesker to no end.

Chris Redfield has posed:
Redfield's eyes narrow imperceptibly. He's no fool, but that ploy seems a bit childish for a man of Wesker's abilities. Falteringly he turns his head and grudgingly he tears his eyes off his prey, looking over his shoulder at the mall rent-a-cops and then following their aim to his own arms and peering down over his shoulder to his own back. "Gotta be shittin' me," he mutters, and very slowly relaxes the hand that's palming his pistol-butt then lifts it away from the weapon.

"You had surprise in Antarctica, Chief," Redfield more growls than answers, both hands at his sides and well away from his body since he's very literally being held at gunpoint by his own backup. "Never gonna get that advantage again."

Albert Wesker has posed:
Wesker smiles as he says, "Gentlemen. I suggest you take Mr Redfield's advice." and taking hold of his sunglasses and pulling them off he allows his eyes to be seen. "I'm the one you should be scared of." His eyes actually glow and he slowly replaces his Sunglasses. "Far be it for me to let you be taken down by mall cops. Wouldn't want to bruise that Ego of yours." he says.

And slowly Wesker takes a step closer and closer. "Run away the adults need to talk." he tells the security. Opening up his black coat showing the knife and magnum on his person.

Chris Redfield has posed:
When Wesker reveals his weapons the red taser lights shift rapidly to Wesker, dancing unsteadily on his chest and shoulders, and Redfield draws his pistol and snaps it up to aim at Wesker's head. "Freeze!" he barks, somehow containing the urge to just start pulling the trigger. Must be the witnesses and the knowledge that he's on candid camera.

Wesker's advance prompts Redfield to slowly step backward, and that causes the mall cops to back up too, but where Redfield cautiously backs by crossing his feet and testing his footing they just kind of hop and skip, and one of them tumbles over a bench causing a loud crash that makes the rest of them turn their attention off Wesker to look. Only Redfield stays focused.

Albert Wesker has posed:
In that instant when their focus breaks Wesker throws his briefcase at one of the guards and Lunges. moving faster than the normal human eye can see. Wesker us knocking the renta cops down, a hand thrust knocking one back. A Chop to take out on of the tasers, Appearing to the left right, and then knicking one of the Tasers up into the air and using it on a guard sending him to the ground, and in less than ten seconds he has taken all the security down, still holding the case in his hand now.

Chris Redfield has posed:
Redfield manages to keep track of Wesker through the violent shenanigans, but even at that he wasn't able to intervene and save the guards from a savage asskicking. "You feel better, Chief?" he asks when the rent-a-cops are knocked out or tased with their own weapons. "Wanna see how far that chickenshit gets with me, now?"

Albert Wesker has posed:
Wesker smiles as he looks at Chris, "Still holding a grudge I see. I don't blame you." and with a sigh, "Ah Chris, So much can change in so little time. I have no desire to fight you, nor be taken into custody by you. The Survivors in Raccoon should be your cconcern." He says. "Their time is running out." He says very darkly.

Chris Redfield has posed:
"Who's fault is that, I wonder?" Redfield answers wryly, his pistol still trained unwaveringly on Wesker's head. "Same sack of shit who killed Speyer, Frost, Vickers, and a bunch more of my friends, I guess."

Albert Wesker has posed:
"Not mine I assure you. By that time I had left Umbrella, and I could do this." and then he lunges at Chris ducking to the side to try and knock his gun out of his hand. Wesker doesn't want to Kill Chris. No he's too valubile. More that willing to play the song and dance routine.

Chris Redfield has posed:
As Wesker lunges in, Redfield's already dancing out of the way. Wesker's faster than he is and still manages to clip him in passing, staggering Chris off balance, but Chris actually avoids the worst of it and keeps hold of his pistol by starting his sidestep at the instant that Wesker coils to lunge. As he regains his footing and faces Wesker, the former S.T.A.R.S. pointman stuffs his pistol back into its holster and pushes the security flap firmly down over it with his right hand and slips his combat knife out of its sheath with his left.

"Okay Chief," he says coldly, "you wanna play, I'll show you some new tricks I picked up."

Albert Wesker has posed:
As Wesker now drops the briefcase that holds his gemstones and he is going to be mildly annoyed if he looses it. With both hands he will move defensively and then as Chriss makes a Stab Wesker actally stops the blade, with his upper left forarm. The Blade lodging inbetween his bones as he tries to deliver a palm thrust to his chest to push him away. "You have gotten better. I expected nothing less than you." and he will of course refrain from drawing his own knife. Or gun just yet.

Chris Redfield has posed:
Well, if Wesker won't do it and they're that close and all, Redfield tugs on the knife through Wesker's forearm to pull the arm out away from the body and then snakes his other hand in fast to make a grab for Wesker's Magnum.

Albert Wesker has posed:
When Chris goes for his Gun, that is where Wesker says, "ENOUGH!" and then he will make a show of what he can really dow pulling right out opf Chris reach as he flips backways pushing off the table and then lunging forward nice and hard, just like he did on Rockfort. Of course he knows Chris will expect it so what does he do he extends his arms for a clothes line to the chest and that armored torso.

Chris Redfield has posed:
Just like before Redfield seems ready for the move, as if he was able to visually and even mentally track the impossibly fast movements of the other man even if he wasn't able to physically keep up with him, and when Wesker comes soaring back at him for the knockdown Chris drops into a defensive crouch, hopefully underneath the low-flying bioweapon.

Albert Wesker has posed:
Wesker is surprised when Chris actually ducks Wesker and in that instant Wesker draws his Gun and says, "Bang bang your dead." and will Try to deliver a knock out blow to the back of Chris head. Seems Chris wasn't interested in talking, not that Wesker can blame him. After all Wesker did of course Lead STARS into a Death Trap.

Chris Redfield has posed:
Well, that was unexpected. What's a Magnum weigh with six loads in the cylinder? Eight pounds? Nine? Driven by B.O.W. enhanced strength? The barrel impacts the back of Redfield's skull and physically picks him up off the floor, sending him sprawling forward on his face on the tiled floor. "SHIT!" Even that wasn't even to-- oh, nope, it was-- he gets about halfway to his hands and knees before he drops like a sack of potatoes to the floor.

It's been about five minutes since mall security called nine-one-one to report this crazy asshole with a gun, claiming to be a S.H.I.E.L.D. agent, wanting mall security to assault a random mall shopper, and finally a single police siren can be heard in the extreme distance. Gotta <3 New York.
