STARK Birthday party
Date of Scene: 01 June 2018
Location: Unknown
Synopsis: Tony's yacht party is a hit with a variety of high profile guests!
Cast of Characters: Iron Man, Nick Fury, Shadow, Rogue, Havok, Aquaman, Black Cat, Rage, Wolverine

Iron Man has posed:
The STARK yacht party has exploded. The enormous boat has multiple tiers to it, and people can mingle through the various areas at will. The lower tier houses the stage where the exclusive performances are happening; one of the famous rock bands just finished doing a brief set to applause and cheers. Each musical guest has a personal lighting and effects set, no doubt arranged by the man of the evening, Tony Stark. The comedy guest, also the MC, returns to the mic to give a few minor jokes while they change over equipment for the next performer, the ULTIMATE current pop star, Miss Andrea Jackson!

The next tier of the boat contains the Jacuzzi in the open, far rear, and many tables for mingling and eating: or drinking, as the bar is also on that level, in the indoor section.

Finally, the top tier of the boat continues with a lounge area, that can overlook down into both the Jacuzzi and the musical guests. It also houses all of the pyrotechnics and similar objects set up to continue to light up the area above the water in displays of light and sound. A variety of smaller vessels are scattered around near the yacht: various people that wish they were part of the main event, including reporters and photographers.

Where is Tony himself? No doubt preparing his amazing entrance; it wouldn't be a STARK party without that.

Nick Fury has posed:
The Director of SHIELD himself, Nick Fury, was lurking in the shadows on the top tier of the boat, taking in everything going on around him. Having received an invite, he decided to check things out, to make sure that there was nothing...untoward going on with Stark and his "birthday party". After all, it was better to be safe than sorry...plus Stark had the best Scotch. And cigars. "Gotta live once in a while. At least that's what Barton and Johnson keep telling me", he says, in a whisper. Blending in, Fury watches, and sips his drink. With a slight sigh, and a shake of his head, Fury almost smiles. Dropping off his present at a nearby table, Fury then returns to the shadows.

Shadow has posed:
Natasha was never one to believe in arriving fashionably late -- for one thing, it means that by the time you arrive others will have claimed all the good spots. Besides, she has an image to keep up as a party girl -- and the sleek (and bordering on slinky) black dress and deceptively comfortable high heels certainly help feed that image. She takes a glass of champagne from a passing waiter -- trust Stark to at least know to leave the catering to the experts who'll order the good wines -- and ambles her way along the deck toward the nearest cluster of socialites...

Rogue has posed:
Rogue is standing on the starboard side (boat words!) of the yacht, she's wearing a tanktop and jeans with gloves on up to her elbows and a sheer black scarf around her bare shoulders to protect others from her deadly skin. Her hair is loose and blowin' about in the winds while she stands there sipping on a glass of soda, its only soda, there's nothing else in it but soda, thats all it is, soda.

The 19 year old is just scanning her eyes around the party goers while occassionally nodding toward someone she sort've knows, there's a lot of old people here afterall. BUT, she's an Avenger and a popular one (social media wise at least) these days... so she's enjoying herself, for the most part!

Havok has posed:
Having been invited as a +1 for Andrea; as thanks for his assistance at the concert in the park, Alex Summers stands around, alone, and out of the way of the collections of people. He's out of his element. Mutant Town is his stomping ground and he's normally low rent. Now he's found himself in the East Side with George and Weezie. And, he doesn't really blend in well. Black combat boots under black slacks with a black button down collared shirt that is tucked in trying to conceal his unstable molecule long sleeved black top beneath. At least he brushed his thick blonde hair. His blue eyes scan the room and he notices a familiar stripe through the glass windows. He thinks to himself (Oh shit, it's Rogue.). Yet, he'll remain in doors for a bit longer. Observing, studying, and trying to look casual.

Aquaman has posed:
Orin knew there was gonna be a party and he even got an invite! especially because...ya know, King of the seas, he could make this party a really bad day. But since, you know, superhero, he just shows up in casual clothes so that people try not to really recognize him....but it's still probably going to happen anyways.

The Monarch of the Oceans simply leans against one of the railings, watching as jokes are flying and performers are switching off. He has a nice glass of wine in his hand as he watches everything unfold.

Black Cat has posed:
A little metal birdie had told Felicia that Tony Stark had a birthday. So when a handsome billionaire had asked her to attend the party as his date, she simply COULDN'T resist. So. Many. Shiny. Things. Where'd that billionaire go, anyway?

As she approaches one of the larger groups, Felicia pauses to take in those present. Her hair, a soft golden blonde tonight, is swept into an updo with tendrils escaping in languid spirals down her neck and jawline. Her dress is fitted immaculately to the curves of her statuesque form. Strapless, and flaring near the bottom, scarcely covering diamond encrusted heels. It IS after Easter, after all. A black velvet choker accents the ensemble, beset with an enormous ruby at her throat, which catches EVERY sparkle. The curve of her wine-painted lips tugs into a smile as she recognizes a few faces. Some from the media. Some from the dark of night whilst pilfering things that may or may not have belonged to them. Her blue eyes asparkle, she swoops in to join the array with a warm and welcoming smile.

Iron Man has posed:
The MC of the performances gets clear information that he needs to do something else, because he stops almost mid-story, and adapts, quickly wrapping up his little spiel. "And the man said, 'and that's just my superhero mask!'" the MC jokes, to some laughter at those in the immediate audience. "Speaking of heroes," the poor MC lamely tries to segway, clearly overwhelmed, "I---" and he is abruptly drowned out, as the music kicks over into an aggressive musical change, and the upper tier of pyrotechnics fires off in rapid succession. It's not rockets, though, its sprays of little bots, that flow up in a spiral of color and flashing metal, emitting pulsing rays of repulsors in exotic patterns as they go.

"THIS RIGHT HERE IS MY TYPE OF PARTY," the music informs the area loudly, "Five more hours, we're just getting started," continues the lyrics.

And, of course, Iron Man makes his arrival through the colors and sheets of shimmering liquid metallic flares. The machines flutter into a 'landing strip' of gold and white. Tony and his entrances. He glides down and drops down to the upper tier, promptly starting to greet people as his armor parts off in sections, upbeat and all shameless, charismatic smiles.

Nick Fury has posed:
Spotting Rogue, and then Havok, Fury looks them, each in turn, up and down, assessing them, and then notices someone else. Nodding towards Natasha, as Fury knows she knows he's there, he acknowledges that it looks like both of them are keeping an eye on things. With his smoldering cigar in one hand, and Stark's best scotch in the other, Fury moves over towards Nat.

In his trademark rumbling voice, calmly says, "Nice dress." Placing the cigar in his mouth, Fury pops an amuse bouche in his mouth, grimaces, takes a drink of the scotch, and says, "Big party." Looking over at Aquaman, Fury maneuvers the two of them into the shadows, and adds, "Nice to see you Ms. Cranston." Nodding towards Black Cat, Fury says, "Gotta go. Keep an eye on things. " And then there is Tony. "And him." Fury nods towards Stark.

Rogue has posed:
Rogue isn't aware of Havok being on the big boat, she hasn't seen him as of yet. Her eyes drift toward the MC as he makes his jokes and she just smirks a little before sipping from her glass of amber cola. When Iron Man his big arrival, Rogue just smirks muuuuch bigger since she's come to learn that that man is quite a show-boater himself. As others start to clap or applaud though, Rogue just raises her phone up and thumbs it a few times, then turns it and lets a pair of animated hands on the phone do the clapping for her...

When you're relegated to wearing gloves your whole life, you're not the best at giving applause... gloved applause are the worst.

Rogue glances over toward Fury, she doesn't have any idea who he is but she'd seen him eyeballing her with the one ball he has to eye with. She gives him a big smile, which almost seems sarcastic, or flirtatious, its hard to tell with her sometimes.

Havok has posed:
There are no incognito moments for Alex Summers. He has a public hero ID and is well known as an X-Man/Mutant and a patron/inhabitant of Mutant Town. Alex remains in the wings and he will note a few familiar faces. Stark especially with his fancy entrance. But for the most part, Alex doesn't know who certain people are, nor does he really care. So he won't be going out of his way to greet, meet, socialize or schmoze with the ultra rich and famous. He does grab a glass off a passing tray held by a serving girl. He glances out the window to Rogue again, just casually while thinking that this is her crowd now. Justice Avengers. Or whatever they're called.

Aquaman has posed:
Aquaman glanced to Tony as he arrives with his fancy and very...expansive entrance. "Well, there's the man of the hour." He chuckles very lightly, sipping his wine before the casually-dressed King of the Seas walks off into the crowd, socializing where he can under his normal guise of Arthur Curry.

Shadow has posed:
Natasha is up at the landing strip as Tony makes his entrance, cheering with the rest of the crowd. "Trust you to make the most out of an entrance, Tony," she mock-chides the billionaire genius as they greet each other. "You've done well for yourself, I must say..."

Rage has posed:
Upon the main stage, the lights go out, drowning it in darkness as a low hush falls upon the crowd as their attention is turned in anticipation for the global hit icon that is Andrea Jackson. Disney kid star turned pop-artist-turned-mutant activist, she has been trending heavily on social media the last two months since her outing, followed by the attack on Central Park yesterday afternoon in which she was the target of an assassination. A couple flickering lights starts to dance along the black backdrop and the stage, giving off the appearance of crackling electricity, or lightning. A few seconds later a familiar guitar rift begins to play over the speakers, followed by a loud rumble of drums.

"THUNDER!"

"THUNDER!"

The man of the hour requested old school, and Andrea put together an AC/DC set to start it off as the familiar tune of Thunderstruck begins to rumble through the speakers. The stage soon lights up, revealing the popstar in a pair of torn jeans over combat boots with a bright silver top that shimmers in the flashing light. There is no autotune, no gimmicks to her voice, no tricks. Just her raw vocals as she howls through the lyrics alongside the screaming guitars as she looks to start the show off with loud energy. Something to get the blood pumping.

Iron Man has posed:
There's only a few pieces left of the armor which peel away, as Tony steps down off of some stairs the led to nowhere (well, not nowhere, they were clearly made for this exact purpose), greeting those near him, which will include a direct look towards Natasha, first. "/And/ lucky, to immediately be met by you," Tony says to her with a playful undertone. The playboy part of Tony loves to flex at these parties. His gaze pans to both her and Fury. "Glad you found the drinks, thanks for being on point there," Tony declares, flipping a hand in a 'come here' motion to one of the bartenders, who brings another round quickly over, holding it near Tony, Fury, and Natasha. Tony claims a drink immediately off the tray.
Distracted by the new performer's song selection, though, Tony turns to look, with a pleased and self-satisfied little smile, as the guests enjoy themselves.

Nick Fury has posed:
With a nod, Fury deposits his glass onto a nearby table, says, "Have a good evening Ms. Cranston." and takes a roundabout route to the birthday boy as Stark showers in the praise and the applause. Looking at each person present for a moment, lingering on Rogue and her big smile, Fury pauses. Nodding, Fury returns the smile, and then continues assessing each person at the party in turn

Finally, Fury then finds himself near Stark. "Mr. Stark. Happy Birthday. I left a present for you and I hope you appreciate it. As it is, my time is short. I just wanted to be here for your special day." And to ensure he was safe.

Watching Andrea's entrance, Fury nods. "Not bad..." Job done, Fury taps his forehead in a two finger salute, turns, and heads back to his home in the shadows.

With his birthday greetings done, Fury then blends back into the background, was he there, or was he gone? And how did he do that? On a boat...?

Black Cat has posed:
Making her way past the gift table, Felicia Hardy pulls a parchment envelope from her black sequined clutch, and places it inconspicuously among the extravagantly-wrapped gifts. Then she makes her way to the bar, ordering a Scotch on the rocks, and turning to watch the others I'm attendance. Where DID her handsome billionaire go, anyway? She takes her drink with a smile and turns back to the festivities, noting how perfectly everything is going.

Well, mostly. Outside a window, she spots her billionaire, hunched over the railing and heaving. She steps out the door to see if he's all right, but pauses. What was his name again? Thad? Ted? How can she call out to him if she can't remember? Ahh well, she decides, what was he doing inviting her to a party on a yacht, if he gets seasick? They can't ALL be billionaire -geniuses- ... she'll have to get herself one of THOSE. She takes a mouthful of the chilled amber liquid fire in her squat glass, and turns he back. Giving him the old heave-ho.

As she turns, she watches Tony's grand entrance, and gravitates toward the display. Once there, she leans back on a railing, draping her elbows over it at her sides, adorned with her black sateen wrap. She only shakes her head and smiles, watching the unabashed showboating with clear admiration.

Shadow has posed:
Tony's flirtatious comment elicits another laugh from Natasha, a bright, sparkling sound that echoes infectiously around the area. "You flirt," she mock-scolds him, then takes the offered glass and drinks deeply. "At least your caterers are top notch, as always..."

She shoots the playboy philantropist another smile and makes her way to the stage, the better to listen to Andrea's performance.

Rogue has posed:
Rogue finishes enough of her drink that she decides to turn and slip inside to get another. Her phone is put back away into a pocket and her eyes look up and land on Alex Summers. She walks toward him then until they're near to each other and she just slowly nods her head. "How the hell did you sneak aboard?" She asks Havok with a grin growing across her red hued lips. She lifts her glass up for another drink and adjusts the sheer scarf across her shoulders so it doesn't fall down and make everyone around her in grave danger!

Havok has posed:
Alex drinks and begins to move but is immediately confronted by Rogue. His blue eyes mimic the smile of his greeting lips which part and he relays, "My ninja ex girlfriend taught me some tricks. How the heck are you doin?"

Rage has posed:
After a bit of a montage of three of AC/DC's greatest hits includes Highway to Hell and TNT, the loud music continues on as it speeds up into another familiar groove. A small smirk toys along Andrea's face as she leans into the mic and shouts out, "Happy birthday, Mister Stark! Here's one of my favorites. I want to see everyone pounding their fist tonight!"

With rock star swagger, she storms the front of the stage and tips her head backwards, roaring out the next lyrics as the guitars and drums howls behind her in a dirty grit.

"I WANNA ROCK!"

Next up is Twisted Sister's biggest hit as she struts along the stage within the performance as she cranks her fist upwards to the sky, followed by throwing the mic forward for the crowd to join her on the next round of lyrics.

Black Cat has posed:
Giving a backward glance toward Ted, a level below, still doubled over the railing, Felicia downs the last of her drink and makes her way back down to the bar to return her glass. One person here has already recognized her. She could tell from the glint in his eye. The one sure rule of never getting caught is not to be there when the trap snaps shut.

Aquaman has posed:
Orin watches the event rage onwards as Andea apparently starts to get even -louder-! Well, at least Tony seems to be enjoying himself. He'll actually walk by Tony, patting his shoulder wit ha smile. "Happy Birthday Tony." and the Sea Monarch will actually walk to the edge of the boat super incognito and simply fall off the ledge! Once he lands in the water, he swims at rocket speeds back to Atlantis, having done what he promised he would and at least show up and wish the Iron Man a happy birthday.

Iron Man has posed:
"Yes, I do. Spared no expense," Tony assures Natasha Cranston with only a slight snicker in his tone, but truly, he accepts all compliments with shameless agreement, as usual. A few more people come through to offer their birthday wishes, and Tony works his way through the variety.
When Andrea addresses him and people turn to look, though, Tony grins and finger-guns playfully back at her with one hand (the one with the glass in it, he's talented); his other hand contains a tech object similar to a phone, as he quickly fiddles with something on the orange surface holograms with a thumb.

And then Tony's talking, stealing the sound system to teasingly remind Andrea (and everyone) just before her song starts: "That's 'Tony', enough of that Mr. Stark thing tonight; save it for board meetings next week," Tony teases. "We're here to have a /great time/. Enjoy the party," Tony broadcasts, upbeat, before returning the sound system back to the performer so that she can continue to rock it. Tony is spreading his smile everywhere: the lovely Felicia gets a wink when she meets his gaze as well.

Rogue has posed:
Rogue lowers her glass and smiles again at Alex's response. With a slow nod she replies. "I'm goooood... Smashin' things, and gettin' paid t'do it." Rogue glances out at the other party members for a second and looks back at him then. "I'd order security to toss ya overboard, but I think I might BE security, so... I guess ya can stay." She's just teasing him though and the grin on her would show it. "Its good t'see ya though, I ain't seen many from the school in quite awhile."

Wolverine has posed:
Having moved up from the bottom deck, Logan was chewing on some weird shrimp something-or-other. Wrinkling his nose, he grabs a glass of whatever it was, bubbly anyway, and downs it in one gulp. The smell of cigar smoke permeates this small, hairy man, as he places one of Stark's cigars in his mouth with a grin.

Wearing a white t-shirt, leather jacket, blue jeans, cowboy boots and cowboy hat, Logan surveys the crowd with a look of ferocious lack of concern. "Happy Birthday Stark!" Logan calls out over the din of whatever this sound was. Music? SNorting, he moves closer to where the food and the drink was. Spotting Fury has he disappears, Logan chuckles, and shakes his head. "Here and gone. Fish man as well it seems. Huh."

Shadow has posed:
Natasha is right there with the crowd whooping along to Andrea's set, waving one hand wildly while the other somehow manages to hang on to a full champagne glass without spilling a drop. You'd think someone wearing that kind of tight dress and high heels would stumble a lot more often than she does. Must be practice. Logan gets a friendly - if strained, once he starts exuding large clouds of cigar smoke - smile as she passes the man, on the way to a waiter for yet another refill...

Rage has posed:
Once the Twisted Sister song ends, Andrea plays a shortened version of We Will Rock You by Queen. By now, the popstar is glistening with sweat, but still grinning wildly from the intensity of the music. With a big smile, she calls out to the crowd. "Thank you everyone for the love tonight! I really appreciate the chance to perform for all of you tonight. Now, if you all will, please join me in a rousing song of Happy Birthday for Tony for my final song!" She holds up her fingers. Three-Two-One...

She holds the mic out over the stage as she sings the lyrics along with with the crowd loudly as all eyes fall upon the billionaire with raised glasses of champagne, wine or other spirits.

"Happy Biiiiiirrrrrrthday.... dear Iron Man! Haaaaaappy biiiiiirthday to yooooou!"

The song finishes off with a rousing drum roll as she takes a bow, then heads to the back stage as the lights dim for the next act to set up.

Havok has posed:
"Speaking of people from the school." states Alex to Rogue as he glances to the arrival of the furry short man with claws. "Oh, and truth be told. That girl up there invited me." He then looks over to Andrea. Then he clarifies, "Only because I helped her out at the attack yesterday. She's way too young."

Black Cat has posed:
Felicia catches Tony's wink and makes a production of swooning. Blushing and fanning herself, she returns the wink with a lighthearted laugh, taking her refilled glass and lifting it toward him from across the room, mouthing "Happy Birthday."

Iron Man has posed:
Tony definitely enjoys the spotlight of the happy birthday song aimed his way, and raises his glass in amusement to Andrea at the end during the applause, then to others in a broad way, including Felicia's birthday wish. Tony promptly empties the glass and hands it off to whoever. As the MC returns to pick up from Andrea, Tony spots some Avengers-Logan being one of them, and veers that way, to greet Logan, and point him towards where the waiter was prepared with a scotch replacement for Fury, and more cigars - maybe Logan will enjoy picking up where the SHIELD director left off. Can't let those things go to waste! Tony himself heads down the stairs slowly: slow, due to all of the people to chat up on the way by. But he had to get in some time with other main Avengers such as Captain America and Thor and so forth.

That means Tony isn't directly nearby when a trio of speedboats whiz up on the left flank of the yacht, yelling various birthday wishes, attempting to sneak into the party in their way. That is, until two of them collide, and with a mix of screams, a few people from the speedboats end up slammed into each other, and two of the riders fall into the water. Very dangerous, considering the amount of boat propellers and other things going on around the party yacht.

Wolverine has posed:
Logan puffs on his cigar, and then grabs a fistful of whatever this canapes or Hors d'oeuvres, or whatever they are called, and tosses them in in his mouth one by one, first removing his cigar. Smiling at Natasha as she walks by, he sniffs, nods, and then grabs another drink. Might as well enjoy himself here, since Rogers and Point Break made him come to this thing. Grumbling to himself, Logan spots the beer section, and suddenly gets in a better mood...

Spotting Summers and Rogue, Logan nods to them, each in turn, while grabbing a cold one from the man behind the counter. Taking a deep pull, Logan sighs loudly, burps, and wipes the foam from his face almost gleefully. "Not bad..." He mumbles.

"Another..." Putting the glass down, and waving impatienly as the man pours another Keith's into the glass. "At least Stark has the good stuff here tonight." Picking up the glass, Logan takes a drink, savoring this one. Surveying the field, Logan nods, and says, "Not a bad party, Stark." Greeting Stark, and grabbing the scotch and cigars meant for Fury thankfully. "Looks like some excitement" Logan nods towards the water, knowing he couldn't dive in. Sinking to the bottom had it's own set of problems.

Rage has posed:
After changing out of her stage clothes into a long black sleeveless dress with a silvery pattern woven throughout the matrial, Andrea slips into some highheels and makes her way out on to the crowd with a smile on her face. She has a hint of makeup on and her hair is brushed out to fall against her shoulders with a bit of a curl at the tips. Making her way to Alex when she spies him talking to Rogue, she sips at a water that was handed to her, lifting her hand. "Hey! Looks like you made a friend." Her chocolate eyes move over to Rogue with a grin, holding out her hand to shake. The sound of the boats crashing causes her to peek over towards the water. "Oh, no .. that's not good."

Rogue has posed:
Rogue gives a glance over to who Havok is indicating and she does see Logan there. "Yeah..." Rogue mutters. "I think there's like thirty'a him out there, clones or somethin'. One'a them hangs around the Avengers place too." She glances back at the Summers boy and grins. Her eyes then look to the singer belting out that Happy Birthday song. "She's young, but famous! Good singer too. Glad you were around t'help her out then, Miste'ah Hero." When she sees Andrea headed this way too, she smiles brightly. "On her way over here too."

Rogue turns to face Andrea when she arrives and offers her s light nod. "Heya, good stuff up there. Label me a fan." She accepts the offered hand and shakes it with a gloved own. "Marie. I used t'go to the school that Alex works at."

But the sounds of screams? Rogue turns then and starts to walk back out to the side of the boat to look over and see what the hell had just happened... She draws in a breath then and slowly releases it. "Apparently the liquor's been dug into early this afternoon."

Havok has posed:
There was a moment he was about to introduce Andrea to Rogue/Marie, but since they handled it on their own, Alex keeps quiet and lets the exchange happen with no more than a "yeah" from him regarding the reference to the school he kinda works at. Then as they both move away to peek at the water carnage, he remains standing there wondering what's next. Godzilla attacking the harbor? Guess he is best not to say something like that out loud. He drinks from the glass in his hand.

Wolverine has posed:
After the set ends, Logan watches as Andrea heads through the crowd. Nodding respectfully, Logan takes another drink, and leans against the bar watching as she speaks to Rogue and Alex. "Inner'estin'." Logan says, taking a puff of his cigar.

Looking back at Rogue, Logan senses she's talking about him, so he winks, grins and shuffles over. "Ladies. Summers." Logan says, looking over his shoulder at the rest of the crowd. "Quite the digs." Looking at Andrea, he says, "Nice set. Great vocals. Band could use some work."

Looking at Felicia and at Tony as they chat, Logan takes a sip, and says, "Nice spread. Must be nice to be a billionaire. Got A+ musicians, directors of top secret orgs, and a bunch of Avengers and others." Logan inhales his cigar, and out of character, exhales away from the guests. "Good times."

Iron Man has posed:
"It's under control," Tony says to those nearby him with a casual ease, attention on to his device. Outside, two of the robotic sentries, looking very much like older Iron Man suits, come into activity from their positions at the upper area near the pyrotechnics, looping down to pull those people out of the water. They're not brought back to the yacht, though: they don't have /tickets/. The people are deposited onto a nearby coast-guard boat. Entirely under control, of course: the security around the yacht is actually a lot thicker than it appears. It has to be, to be safe enough for the bulk of heroes present: they make a tempting target, of course.
Tony does head out towards the Jacuzzi area to look over the boats and be sure things are handled to his satisfaction. The boats still have to be dealt with, but it appears that will be fine; he isn't going to let it even dent his great party. So he just makes sure: While also smiling at the people (women) in the Jacuzzi. And accepting their praise of his heroism, saving those poor people. He multitasks well.

Rage has posed:
"They're not my band." Andrea says with a grin to Logan, then takes another sip of her water. "But we didn't do too bad on a couple days of practice. I had fun." Glancing back from the water to Rogue and Alex, she gives them a smile. "You guys went to .. the school I'm thinking about? Xavier's? I just took a tour there with Miss Braddock and I think I will be joining to finish my last two years there. I'm very excited to go to school again with students my age and meet hopefully some new friends." The mutant rights activist turned popstar is all smiles as she takes another sip. "Are you enjoying the party?" She asks Alex with a grin. "I didn't want to leave you hanging all night so I figured I'd track you down."

Rogue has posed:
Rogue watches the drone suits pick up the drunkards out of the water and she releases a light sigh and shakes her head. "Probably gonna go down as the coolest day'a their lives, the time they wrecked their water crotch rockets right beside Tony Stark's birthday love boat." She smirks and sips her drink again before she glances back over her left shoulder toward Andrea. "Oh yeah, I finished my senior year'a highschool last year at Xavier's. Its a heck of a place. Nice people, help out with whatever ya got goin' on too." Mutant problems!

Havok has posed:
Alex glances to Logan as he speaks, then to Andrea and then back to Logan with the shake of his head, bemused, and with an awkward sounding chuckle. But that's quickly interrupted when Andrea returns with her remarks. His brow lifts and he says, "Yeah, Xaviers." Then pieces are put together in his mind and he understands that Andrea will be attending the school. He comments casually, "It's a great place; you'll learn a lot there."

Wolverine has posed:
"Of course." Logan nods at Andrea with a smile. "Thank you." Logan almost blushes and changes the subject, and glares at Summer's chuckle. "Band. Probably something Stark dredged up." Agreeing with Rogue, Logan nods, and adds, "Braddock huh? Not bad. She's good...people. School is a nice place as well."

Hearing Stark say its under control sets his mind at ease. Logan doesn't physically show it, but he was internally concerned. Phew. One tragedy averted. "Party isn't bad. Lots of people, food, booze, and music, so not bad."

Drinking the last of his beer, Logan says, "Need another." Heading away from the three mutants, and the uncomfrtable conversation, Logan gets another drink. His way of excusing himself.

Rage has posed:
"I hope I do. I've been homeschooled the last three years since middle school and it sucks. I miss socializing and joining clubs. That sort of thing." Andrea says as she gives a grin to Logan, lifting her glass of water. "It was nice to meet you ... uh ... I didn't catch your name. Big cigar guy!" She giggles, leaning back against the wall of the boat so that she can watch the water. "Man, this party is crazy. I can't believe Mister Stark invited me to perform. It's a dream come true. This is the kind of event I've been dying to do."

Wolverine has posed:
Over his should at Andrea, he says, "Name's Logan. Don't listen to Stark, Rogue, or Summers about me. They lie." With a wink, and a nod, Logan heads to get more beer vbefore blending into the background and enjoying the party.

Havok has posed:
"He's Logan. Grounds-keeper at the school. He trims the bushes with some really great Edward Scissor-Hands like shears." Notes Alex about the departing Logan and the miss of Andrea's name catching.

Iron Man has posed:
Tony doesn't sneak up on people. He doesn't appear out of nowhere. That's just not something he does. Tony is more of a brashly-arriving-through-crowd-of-people type. "Great performance. Who told you to sing Happy Birthday to me, though?" Tony asks, as if it might be a bad thing. "Somebody /knows/ me, and that's never a good thing," Tony clarifies with mock concern. "Rogue, good to see you," Tony greets the junior Avenger, and gives Havok a sort of thoughtful look, placing him. "---Albert? Alphonse? Am I close?" Tony attempts. "You visited when I was, ah, in recovery," Tony says, rapidly snapping his fingers, as if that might help jog memory. Tony meets a lot of people.

"Come have something to eat," Tony invites the group of them, leading them inside, to enjoy more of the party.
