Date of Scene: 03 June 2018
Location: Unknown
Synopsis: Summary needed
Cast of Characters: Vincent Black, Wonder Woman

Vincent Black has posed:
It's gotten late and Vincent has stuck to the shadows extremely well since being attacked in Chelsea, and subsequently discharging his weapon and feeling the scene of an incident and obstruction of justice in some other unknown crime he's committed. But it's all for the good of his kind. Yeah. That's what he'll say, but of course he can't really proove it.

The former cop is walking through alley ways, and still moving quite stealthily for a man of his advanced age. Vincent slides a hand across his front left pocket, feeling the tiny device against his pants and leg, satisfied at the weight and shape still there after these last several hours of ducking past every flashing light and flinching at every siren sound. He wishes he was wearing something more concealing than a simple light jacket. But, it would be suspicious in this time of year also.

Wonder Woman has posed:
Sometimes Diana is brought in for jobs that don't involve evil creatures from space, or psychotic super villians looking to unleash some absurd super weapon upon the populace... Diana Prince was tasked with protecting Manhattan afterall, it was her home city as of today and it was one of the major focal points of sinister activity across the globe as a whole.

Today, or Tonight, rather... Diana was told that a rogue Cop was dealing out vigilante justice and there may be more to him than meets the eye. She's flown through the night using her advanced hearing to listen... to listen for lone men wandering in dark places and she's already investigated several pecuilar individuals before coming across this one.

Now, gently touching down onto the concrete behind where Vincent is walking, Diana Prince stands there in gleaming armor and her weapons/shield holstered on her back, she doesn't appear aggressive in-nature, but she certainly stands out in that Eagle Armor of hers.

"Hello." Diana announces herself to the back of the man wandering ahead of her.

Vincent Black has posed:
Wars tend to shape a man in ways that even they don't know or realize, and in some ways they never forget, long after, or since the war has been ended, the battles ceased. Vincent's sense of hearing has never lost that acuteness, the ability to hear when something is behind him trying to be stealthy, and that haunting absence of familiar white noise. He's beginning to reach under his jacket when she finally speaks and he steps one foot far forward while spinning, and drawing his firearm in the same motion, keeping the weapon close to his side, beneath his arm so the aim is perfect, he just has to worry about shooting too high or low, and years of trials have drilled that into him. He's on target and he knows it, but the armor makes him halt his finger.

Yes he recognizes Wonder Woman, but the gruff three hundered year old mutant's face scowers and he isn't quite sure why she's appearing behind him. "What do you want?" He asks in his tired voice.

Wonder Woman has posed:
Diana was once confused by guns, she'd never even seen or heard of them... a very long time ago. Now she knew all too much about what they are and the destruction they can cause. But they don't scare her in the least. She just stares right down the barrel of it right back at him and she softly shakes her head from right to left one time.

"I want to know who you are, and why you are doing what it is that you are doing." She says back to him in her heavily accented English. "You are the one who assaulted someone in Chelsea?" She asks then, a slight tilt to her head. "And you freed someone from a SHIELD facility?" She asks further. "Why? What is it that you are after?"

Diana stands perfectly still, with her armored feet slightly apart and her hands at her sides.

Vincent Black has posed:
Vincent curses himself internally, and looks from Diana to his pistol next to his waist and back to Diana before he slowly and calmly slips it back into his jacket as he speaks, "I'm detective Black." Half truth, "And I'm getting data on this company who's going to produce robots that will attack and kill millions of people." Yeah, he said will, meaning they haven't yet, but to him, they have. Several times. "And that business with SHIELD, that's ..." He looks down at the ground and then back from Diana's feet to her striking eyes, "That's classified." Yeah, it was on the behest of Fury, but Fury would deny that. They were a strike force to kill the worst mutants. Can't really share that info with Wonder Woman. Seems his tight lips will get him in trouble.

Wonder Woman has posed:
Diana watches the Detective lower his weapon and though she doesn't know that he's not of this timeline, she's interacted with others who've been displaced from their own many times already... it wouldn't shock her. Her slim pointed chin lowers down a little as her blue eyes remain locked onto his face... she stares at him with a slight measure of confusion on her expression. "These robots... will, kill millions?" Diana asks him then. "Soon?" She asks further. "I have heard nothing of such a plot and it seems somewhat unlikely that this information would not have reached me by now."

There are some Sentinels in use around the globe, China has been using them more openly since the US President was assassinated for instance and its belived that North Korea is using some type of Sentinel Drone but they keep it heavily under wraps.

"Tell me more and I will stop it." Diana says to the man then. "You needn't put yourself into harm's way to handle this. It is my duty to do such."

Vincent Black has posed:
It's not sentinels. They don't have a monopoly on slaughter. No one does. Vincent stands his ground and simply nods to Diana's questioning. "I can tell you they will, but it's not for you to change someone else's fate." The mutant speaks. "It's your job to deal with far greater and more dangerous and imminent threats." Vincent says, seems the man who hates superheroes even has a moderate appreciation for Diana.

Wonder Woman has posed:
The Princess remains where she is standing, six foot+ of Amazonian warrior woman watching him. "I see." She softly replies to him then, her chin rising and her gaze leveling on the Detective. "Well. You cannot go about the city harming others and scaring innocents. It will only lead to troubling whatever... quest it is that you find yourself on. You must work with others to accomplish these tasks which you seek. My team and I are here for that very reason."

Diana's lasso is looped to her right hip and hangs there as a sign of her ability to get the truth from anyone, if she so chooses to do, but in this instance she hasn't yet reached for it.

"I cannot release you into the unknown of the night. I am not fully certain your intentions are sound, and if you are to harm someone... it would then be on my conscience."

In no few words, she's telling him she can't let him go and intends to likely take him in, to somewhere anyway.

Vincent Black has posed:
Vincent's black eyebrow lifts high on his forehead towards the regal woman and her powerful words as well as voice and manner of speaking. "I can't trust anyone else with this. And I harmed no one but myself, and I'm sure I scared a food truck cook, but harm only came to me. And an evil robot." The cop says honestly. He could, but he doesn't give an ultimatum to Wonder Woman because honestly, who is that foolish?

Wonder Woman has posed:
Diana's chin yet again lowers as she hears these words from the man, that do little to instill confidence inside her toward his mental well being. "... I see." She quietly says to him then before she raises her chin again and now is finally, and casually, reaching for the lasso on her hip.

"Would you... be so kind as to extend a hand out toward me?" She asks him then while her lasso is grasped and raised up in either of her hands. "This is the Lasso of Hestia... anyone who falls within its snare will be compelled to speak to me the truth of any question I should ask them. With it, I can better gauge your responses to me and determine the validity of your thoughts... as you perceive them."

Apparently she's not yet ready to put the lasso over a wrist without his permission. Not yet anyway.

Vincent Black has posed:
"You want to truth serum me?" The time traveller says with a curious look across his face for a moment before he shakes his head and a frown grows across his lips. "I guess that's what I have to do, but... don't pry into your own future. No one should know their fate." The detective warns with a serious glare, one he's begun to master thanks to his incredibly long life.

Wonder Woman has posed:
"I know." Diana quietly says in her smokey voice. "I have been down this road before..."

Diana steps forward then and within a moment the lasso is looped over his wrist and its length is suddenly shining a heavenly gold between the two of them, illuminating their faces and forms in its golden glow and its fairly hot to the touch, but not enough to burn... unless he lies.

Diana's eyes look from his wrist up to his own eyes and she stares flatly at him. "Is everything that you have told me tonight true?" She asks simply at first. "And if it is, then where are these robots that are supposedly going to harm so many?"

Vincent Black has posed:
Vincent is capable of only telling the truth. "I have only told you the truth." The man says with a slight twing in his cheek as the rope burns for a moment, yeah, she could totally know her fate, but that is something he'll tollerate and allow to hurt. He rocks on the heel of his boot and keeps his hand out so that Diana doesn't lop it off with her rope, something he assumes she could do with ease.

"I don't know where they come from, what I did was break into the offices of the company that designs their program. I didn't know they would have a working prototype there to defend the facility." The detective says with a frown and is taken a bit aback by his own answer, he didn't mean to tell her that much, but it just kept coming and coming.

Wonder Woman has posed:
Diana's stare is a calming one to most, though intimidating to many still because of who she is and otherse are just stammered by her beauty. "I see." She quietly says to his admitted words. "And where exactly is this facility that is programming these... destructive robotics?" Diana then asks. "I intend to pay them a visit and investigate your claims. Bare in mind that this rope only compels you to tell the truth as you see it, it is not a magical device that will tell the true, truth..." She re-iterates this point because she doesn't want this man believing that this glowing golden rope is validating everything he's said or done.

"Please tell me the names of those whom I should speak to when I arrive there as well, or any information that will help me... figure out precisely what is going on." She doesn't want to go to this place and demand to know everything about their 'killer robot program' ... but she would if that really was the only info she had to go on. Diana was never the type to worry what others thought of her after all.

Vincent Black has posed:
"I don't seek validation for what I do, princess." Vincent responds with a tinge of ire in his tone. Yeah, she could rip him in two, but he'd be okay later that day, or week. Depending. He's dealt with worse. The man swallows hard and looks away as if he's accessing his own memories of things yet to come. "Walstrom, Walstrom and Hendricks. They're the two men building the code to unleash these things upon mutants and metas." Vincent says with a glance back to Diana. She's got something about her but this man doesn't seem to care one way or the other. "It was in Chelsea, a bad part of town that gets worse. Way worse."

Wonder Woman has posed:
Diana doesn't really take offense to him responding to her about the validation bit, she knows people can get defensive if she suggests possible character flaws in them... who doesn't? She just moves past that and nods her head head to quick small times at the rest of what he says. "Thank you." She quietly says as well. "Chelsea, a Robotics facility... Walstrom and Hendricks." She repeats what he's told her so far. "I need an address or the name of the business." She technically probably didn't NEED it, but all the more information the better.

"Also, I need you to tell me where you are going tonight and if you are a danger to anyone and if I should take you to the nearest police station for your own safety." Generally ever Police Officer in the city listens to and respects Diana, generally.

Vincent Black has posed:
"I am not a danger to anyone." Vincent responds truthfully, he doesn't think he is. Not if they don't try to hurt him or someone else first. Then it's not harm, it's justice or a deterent. "Henstrom INC. I think. They change their name a few times before I recognize them from my time." Vincent says as casually can be, making it sound like he's completely lost his mind, having fallen from a third story window earlier, people would likely believe that he's off his rocker.

Wonder Woman has posed:
Diana's head gently nods to his first response. "Well that is good." She softly says back to him about it before she regards the rest and files it away inside that mind of hers that hasn't forogtten anything ever in her long, long life.

"And precisely where is your 'time'?" Diana asks the man next. "You claim to be a time traveller, so what time are you from originally then and why is it that you are travelling through time now? You are aware of how much trouble that that can cause for the continuum that you are in, yes? You can completely erode and erase events that are positive, as well as negative." As if she'd have to remind him of this!

Vincent Black has posed:
"I- I don't know. Not any more. I am just a drifter, going where I feel I'm most needed." Vincent says with a frown. "I don't know when I belong or even if I SHOULD exist any more, for all I know, my original timeline is whiped out and away in the fluid river of space time." Vincent frowns, defeatedly and without purpose. "Yes, I know the damage I can cause, and I know the things I can save... but some things, WILL, happen."

Wonder Woman has posed:
After these words are spoken from the man, she can tell that they are painfully honest for him and as such she just simply removes the glowing rope from around his wrist and lowers it back to her waist against her blue armored skirt. The golden glow fades away and Diana takes a step back from the Detective.

"It is a place where the only solution to what you feel is to bolster your own spirit by helping others. Through the actions of reaching out to those in need, who may be worse off than you, will you find an inner worth that will repair your spirit and restore the value that you desperately need." She tells him, whether he takes her words to heart or not... many often just toss what she says away like the trash that litters this alley, she's fine with that! Her wisdom guides her just fine!

"Thank you for doing your best to help, but please... do not take on tasks such as this by yourself. Find others who may help you, like myself. There are many capable people in this world who are here -to- help. Just as I said you should be."

Vincent Black has posed:
"It's not that easy to call up the Avengers or the Justice League and tell them I'm a time traveller trying to stop two guys from killing several powered people in about fifty years." Vincent says with an apathetic shrug. "I don't think anyone would take me seriously." The mutant responds and turns around as if he was going to keep walking through the shadows once more.

Wonder Woman has posed:
Diana hears these words from the man and then she starts to take a step backward and turn to her right while putting her left shoulder toward him, appearing to be preparing to leave. "Maybe... it is easier than you think." She tells him then. "You just told me. And I believe you." And after saying that she lets her blue eyes linger on his for a few seconds before she nods her head one more time to him. "The Justice League is here for this very reason. Come to us when you need us. If nothing else, I will always listen."

And with that, Diana lunges straight up into the air and is gone up into the night sky!
