Synopsis: Summary needed
Cast of Characters: Phoenix, Wolverine

Phoenix has posed:
A rather simple matter for Jean Grey to find a student or member of faculty she's pressed to see. So a quick scan of the school grounds brings her into the garage. She has a rather grim expression on her face, something has been bothering her. "Logan..." she calls out as she walks in, "hope this is not a bad time..."

Wolverine has posed:
The loud clanging coming from the area of the garage near Logan's motorcycle was repetitive, and loud. As Jean's voice carries over the loud clanging, Logan's head peers up from behind his motorcycle. With a frown, Logan stands, grabs a very dirty cloth from the seat of the bike, and wipes his hands. "Jeanie! Haven't seen you in here much...to what do I owe the pleasure?"

Logan is wearing a pair of grease-stained jeans, brown cowboy boots, and a white t-shirt, that strangely enough, was relatively clean. Moving towards the nearby tool bench, Logan grabs a can of beer, takes a drink, and returns his attention back to Jean. "Got extra beers, if you want one?" Logan says."

Phoenix has posed:
"A visitor to the school, and a picture..." Jean remains rather cryptic, not offering too much details, not that there is a lot to say. "Logan, is the name Laura, familiar to you at all?"

Jean for her part is dressed in skinny jeans and a white tank top with a golden phoenix emblazoned on it. "Sure, I'll share a beer," she takes the extended offer, moving closer to Logan, "Laura was brought to the school by Daken...who then failed to tell anyone he did so. Luckily, I found her first."

Wolverine has posed:
Taking another sip, Logan frowns again, and regards Jean with a thoughtful expression. His eyes look at her, while he tries to keep any emotion out of his face. "A visitor...and a picture?" Logan repeats, putting the can down on the bench, and moving a few paces forward. When he hears that name, he stops.

"Laura..." Logan says, his voice deep and "grumbly". "Maybe." Logan grabs a cold one, offers it to Jean, and blinks as she moves closer. "Daken. Another name I...recognize." Logan frowns, and opens a fresh can of beer. "Yeah, I know them. Good you found her...so...what can I do ta' help?"

Phoenix has posed:
Jean snaps the can open and has a sip, before explaining, "I had to calm her down a bit...she reminds me very much of you, and I mean you when you're on an edge." She pauses a moment, before adding, "she's been through trauma, her mother is dead, I didn't bother to ask about it...she needed comforting." Her green eyes level with Logan's, making sure she has his full attention, before stating, "before she died, her mother gave her three pictures. This school, Charles Xavier, and you, Logan."

Wolverine has posed:
"AH. Ah'm always on edge..." Logan says, taking a drink and nodding. "Comofrting is not my strong suit. Glad you could step in there Jeanie. You are better at the touchy feely stuff than I am." Holding in a burp, or at least keeping it more quiet than he normally would, Logan shakes his head. "A picture doesn't mean anything." Logan says, not sounding too...sure of himself.

"Anyway she's here now, and she's okay. It all worked out." Logan crosses his arms, the beer can now resting back on the bench. "Nice ta' chat again Jeanie." Logan turns, as though not wanting to have this conversation. "Enjoy tha' beer."

Phoenix has posed:
"Yes, but you're not a little girl, Logan, you've got much more experience at controlling it...fighting it. I'm afraid Laura does not." When Logan moves to end the conversation quickly, he'll feel one sharp tug on his shoulder, forcing him to look towards Jean at least a moment longer, "I wasn't here to just tell you about Laura, Logan, I'm here because I expect you to look after her and teach her how to have a better life than you had...she doesn't deserve it, Logan, you know that better than anyone, don't you?" Jean pauses, as the force dissipates, allowing Logan to leave at will. "Just consider mentoring her, I'd like to take you to meet her, at least once...I think you're important to her if she carried your picture around."

Wolverine has posed:
Logan stops. Pauses. Then looks over his right shoulder at Jean as he feels the tug. "Yer right. I can fight it better than a little girl. However, ah' kin barely look after myself, and you want me to look after a little girl?" Logan shrugs, and adds, "Maybe..."

Logan feels the tug let up, and he takes another step, before stopping, and looking at Jean again. "I'll talk to her. And maybe. Anyone else but you, Jeanie, and I would havr told you...where to go." Logan smiles, shakes his head, and heads back to his bike. "Enjoy tha' beer..."

Phoenix has posed:
"I promised her I will look after her," Jean notes to Logan, "and I mean to...but you can help her with things I don't truly understand. And she needs to see you, she has that picture, it has to connect to something real..."
