Well apparently it's Plant-Pocalypse except actually..somewhat terrifying as opposed to something like, say, The Happening and other attempts to predict the various ways in which the world will come to an end. Flesh eating mushrooms was certainly not high on the list..but here we are, in Central Park where some of the spores settled and have resulted in massive stalks of the things and a swatch of dead eaten away land where they've effectively sucked the life out of the land..resulting in a nightmarish looking landscape that so far has been kept sectioned and warded off by quick response from local authorities. Seems like nobody wants to get near the flesh eating plants. Go figure.
Either way, Central Park seems to be fertile ground these things, providing ample soil for their growth and or them to spread should matters be exagerrated and made worse. For now, things are quiet as people keep their distance and the park remains closed off to normal civilians less the worst case scenario happen.
