Kaelyn Silverleaf has posed:
So it's rather odd to have a coffee shop and book store up real late, but such is the case with this one. The lights appear to be on, there's some people dining outside in the store, inside drinking coffee and the like. Now here's where the oddness comes. These people don't seem to have prolific electronic devices on them. Their clothes in some cases look downright renaisance festival ish... And further more, the few people that do wander by, most don't even really seem to notice the outside diners, with the rare occasion of some pausing and looking back, or staring at the front space of the store for a moment as if transfixed before wandering inside...

Origami has posed:
Miyako Moore sits in a corner, with some hot chocolate. Attempts at a regular sleep schedule slightly squashed by having to help fight a building fire that had suddenly turned green and intelligently malevolent. Thankfully, just dropping an intrusion ward flower seemed to fix the problem, but still.. straight out of a sound sleep. Now she's up.

She stares at the cup and waits to get tired, so she can go back to the station with a sleeping bag. She sips some more chocolate and looks around, feeling not quite welcome.. she might theoretically be among her own, but she doesn't know her way around.

Harry Dresden has posed:
     With a clank and a sputter, and a POP POP POP!!!, Harry's trusty Ambush Bug sputters to a stop just outside of said coffee shop. Able to coast on in to a parking spot the wizard sighs and gets out of the car. "Come on man.. don't do this to me. Mike works magic, but he costs money too!" he grumbles at his old VW Bug. Looking around to see if there are /any/ ancient and decrepit pay phones around he sighs before noticing the still open coffee shop.

    Slipping in through the front the overly tall man looks to find an employee spotting Kaelyn "Hey, my car just broke down out side, I got it into a parking space, can I use your phone to leave a message with my mechanic? he'll come by and get it tomorrow I promise."

Kae was well, like the other three who work here actually visibly dressed like one might see with a witch... It's 'drop pretenses' night at the Enchanted grounds, where really only those magically enclined or with the ability to become such are allowed through the store's wards... And this small shop reeks, oozes, what have you, magic of all kinds... Kae tilts her head and looks at Harry for a moment then nods "Yah sure... Umm have a seat, I'll get ya a phone you can use." She says with a slight smile..

At this point Kaehas one of the girls behind the counter fetch Harry a coffee or tea and grins "On the house." She says before making her way to the checkout counter, along the way she glances at Miyako "Ya know. If you want to visit, and mingle, now's the time, it's why I throw these little shindigs now and then." She says, and then fetches her trusty phone... To those un awares it might resemble a smart phone, in fact, it looks very much like the latest greatest samsung phone, or whatever uber brand is out there, Lex Corp or Wayne Interprises phone? who knows.

All other similarities go away when one looks at the casing very closely. It's covered in fine runes, these so small as to require a strong magnifying glass to really discern what runes and symbols adorn the casing. The other wierd thing about it? It's not exploding what with all the magic present... Kae taps the screen to turn it on... "Just talk at it, tell it who ya want to call it'll help ya look it up, or tell it the number." She says as she sets it on Harry's table... A small 'chibi' witch avatar actually pops up on screen, then 'climbs' out, now standing with arms crossed and looking at Harry quissicly...

Kae then grins a bit and looks outside at the bug.... At this point another girl, this one a blonde wanders up to Kae "Hey boss, I think I can maybe help with that car out there.." She says and looks to Harry "If y'want?"

Origami has posed:
Miyako Moore looks up. Oh hey, somebody she knows. She waves, "Hiyah." and leans back some to see what is going on. She looks around a bit and sighs a little, then picks up her hot chocolate and roams over that way. When she gets close to Kae she murmurs, "I feel like I am going to say something stupid and get turned into a sheep or something."

She rests her hand on her messenger bag unconsciously, frowning a bit. "I don't really know what I am doing or anything."

Harry Dresden has posed:
     Harry Dresden's eyebrows raise at the 'phone' when the little avatar pops out of the screen, one finger moving to poke at it. "just water, don't want to be up till six in the morning." he says before looking at the 'phone' again "Wish I had gotten the cool, bend reality sort of magic some folks seem to have." he comments ruefully poking the little witch again. When the blonde offers to 'fix' the bug he grimaces.. "If my fix, you're talking mojo to get it to gogo, I'd rather say no no." he says in self amusement. "might get me home, might blow up in reaction to my magic, might suck me into a nightmarish underworld of elder beings on the Plateau of Leng." he explains apologeticly giving the little avatar another curious poke.

     When Kaelyn shows her presence, his face lights up in recognition "Hey you. Miyako right?" he asks making sure he remembers the name right.

Kaelyn Silverleaf has posed:
The blonde girl, Tanya blinks and puts her hands on her hips "I wasn't going to magic it into fixing. I know how to work on vehicles, I was gonna go out there and see if I could get it t'start for ya." She says simply...

Kae laughs "We generally try not to throw a lot of magic around outside the store if we can help it... Tanya's good with cars, she can even work on the newer vehicles ok... But of course if ya want, use my phone, give a call.." As the avatar's being poked Harry can feel a slight give as if touching something partially real... The little avatar giggles and puts both hands over the place where it's poked and then hmphs and taps its feet with an audible clicking as it puts its hands on its hips "So wh ya want me to call?" It asks curiously. "Name or number please?"

Yes, it talks... Meanwhile, at another table there's a delighted laugh as a tiny dragon, the size of a cat, or at least what resembles a dragon as its eyes are litterally polished amethysts with internal facets, just like fine beads or some such, though they appear wet... Not to mention the bronze and black scaling and the teeny tiny fine runes on it... It's possibly a construct or golem of sorts? Who knows, but it moves quite life like and currently the little 'creature' is being fed a beignet by what appears to be another sorceress who is delighted at the little critter's antics.

Kae then smile sand sits near Harry and Miyako as water is brought out to him... "Though I think you might enjoy the green tea, really good Chinese and Japanese green tea here, very low caffein so not likely to keep ya up... It's great iced too."

Origami has posed:
Miyako Moore nods and smiles, "Yeah. Or Origami if you write for a newspaper." She drinks some more chocolate. "I can fly you home if you need, but I can't carry the car." She considers a bit. "Well, I can try, but it might be kind of ridiculous.. and it might fall off."

She frowns. "I got woke up, and now I am just kind of out of it a little. A fire tried to eat some firefighters. I'm not sure why, but a summon block stopped that. It didn't come back when the fire was out, so I don't know what happened to make that happen." She sighs a little.
