Bel Canto (194) has posed:
The space ship, composed entire of levitating silent crystal, had been parked in the airspace above Stark Tower for a few days now. The FFA had been given their head's up and SHIELD was well aware that there was yet another alien presence on the planet. Earth was getting to be a popular place in the galaxy despite the populace's probable desire otherwise.

She was sitting in the lobby of Stark Tower: A white haired, white skinned, elfin woman in medieval-style dress enrobed in silvery armor. Her magneta eyes stared forward, expression serious (almost grim), her hands on her knees. She had been waiting there for some time. Tony was a busy man these days, and the woman was too formal, too polite, to insist that Stark make time for her.

Nevertheless, she couldn't simply stay there forever, her ship above, her personage parked like a watchdog in the lobby. Someone was going to have to deal with her.

Captain America has posed:
Cap walks out from the elevator coffee in one hand as he comes into the lobby. He's dressed down in a plainclothes outfit as he reads from the latest headlines of a newspaper. He's rather calm and collected as he moves into the lobby speaking in a rather laid back voice. "Hey, anyone know who parked their giant imposing alien spaceship above the tower?" He starts taking a sip from his coffee as he looks down towards the newspaper.

"We're not looking at another alien invasion right? I'll admit if it is I'm not going to be leading the charge this time, I lead the suicidal charge the last four times." He lets out a bit of a chuckle as he looks up from the paper. His expression drops somewhat as he realizes what's just happened. A low sigh escapes his lips as he folds the paper back up in his arms looking back towards the elevator. "Jarvis, wrong floor buddy."

It's only a moments pause before he's put on his public face collecting himself back together as he gives a smiling nod to the people in the lobby. He takes a long sip from the cup of coffee in his hand, before giving a light wave and a smile. "Hey, how's it going?" He starts in a bit of a friendly voice.

Bel Canto (194) has posed:
"Salutations. As for my ship, I can remove it if it has become inconvenient to you or to your Mister Stark. I am only here at his pleasure to begin with," the woman explains, eyes turning to meet Cap's. She does not relax, but maintains her formality. It seems that she's all business, at least, for the moment.

"I can assure you that if there is to be an invasion, it will not be from my people or planet. We prefer to remain outside of galactic affairs, and until we were attacked, we had no concept of war or conquest. I am here at the behest of the goddess of harmony. She gave me a vision that this world would one day be in grave peril, and it was my duty to assist in its salvation."

There is a pause, as she takes in that Cap is not armored or uniformed. She corrects herself, remembering that this world is neither unified nor formal, and that so far, there have only been negative reactions to her appearance and carried weaponry. "It is going well," she adds, in a softer, if awkward tone.

Captain America has posed:
Cap blinks a few times taking in all this new information being thrown his way. He categorizes it away while he takes another longer sip of coffee, one quick crick of the back enough to send him into his more public posture one which commands respect and understanding, but still rather comfortable with things.

Walking over towards where she's setting he finds another spot not too close or far away from her. The paper gets folded once more before he sets it down beside himself. "Goddess of harmony." Cap repeats after a moment visibly quite a bit interested. He's learned not to ignore these kinds of situations. "So, take it Tony's got you stuck here waiting around while he runs his business and does everything else five ways to Sunday?" He lets out a light chuckle.

Bel Canto (194) has posed:
"I assume both he and the ruler of Wakanda are busy individuals. I have no right to insist upon their time, I am here as a servant, not as heir to the throne," Bel Canto explains. "I am not a hatchling that cannot wait with patience."

Cap's posture isn't lost on Bel. She can tell that he has a position of authority, and that he is comfortable enough to be self-assured of his ability and strength. He is neither demanding nor unmannerly, and as such, she, too, relaxes. Well, as much as she can, anyways.

"I have since learned that your world has no centralized government, nor primary ruler, and that I will be forced to seek audience with all of your people's most powerful entities and kingdoms. Only then will I be able to best determine what sort of disharmony could have awakened my goddess and called me so far away from my home. Truly, to reach across the entire arc of the Milky Way, it must be the most fractuous and sinful disharmony imaginable."

Captain America has posed:
"With Tony, watching paint dry could be what's keeping him busy." Rogers offers in a bit of a joking manner letting out a light chuckle. "But seriously he means well." He takes another sip from his mug of coffee before setting it down to his side so that he can offer Bel his proper attention.

"Well there've been a few that tried over the years." In reference to her comments about one unified government. "Guy named Adolf Hitler tried it with Germany after he failed to make it as a painter." He carries on. "Wanted to exterminate an entire race of people, and shove anyone who disagreed with him into work camps to make it happen." Pauses. "Other side of the world Chairmen Mao wanted the same thing in China, wound up starving millions of his own people to death, while at the same time in the USSR, Joseph Stalin was trying to do the same thing."

Rogers adjusts his setting position slightly. "These days you've got groups like HYDRA and AIM trying to do the same thing." He pauses for a moment. "And that's just here on earth." He shakes his head. "It's certainly not pretty" A look back over towards Bel. "I'm sure it'll just take the right leader, the right group, and time to unify the people." He pauses for a longer moment. "All just a matter of time."

Bel Canto (194) has posed:
"Your kings are no kings," Bel Canto states with solemnity. "A king sacrifices their life for their people. Not just in defense, to the death - but as a living sacrifice, giving themselves up day after day to attend to the nurturing and well-being of all who fall under their shield. I have only been here for a handful of days, and I can tell that no such king will arise from this populace. I cannot see a natural inclination to harmony. Even your shapes and colors are diverse."

She glances at the floor, a shift of the head that causes her armor to *tink* against itself. Even the sound of metallic crystal plating brushing against itself has a musical quality to it, the pleasant tinkling of tiny windchimes in a passing breeze. "I have never seen such people before." She pauses, and quickly looks back up. "But I mean no disrespect by that statement. Harmonians have never left their world by choice. I am the exception, and I remind myself that I am no longer among my kin, that I should be as open and resonant as possible, so that I can best serve this world."

She stands up from her chair; her right hand goes to the scabbard at her left, and wraps around the hilt of a sword. Bel unsheathes the blade, in what could be taken as a hostile act. Her left hand joins her right, and she holds it straight and upright in front of her, arms bent slightly, weapon held naturally and at the ready. "I have spoken more than I have acted. I should properly introduce myself."

Captain America has posed:
Caps quiet for a long moment hands down on his lap as he leans back against the chair. There's a bit of a pause in his movement as he waits for her to speak her mind. He's about to speak when the hands are offered.

Instead cap stays silent waiting and watching for what's going on. He's never been one to stand on customs and perhaps this is just a new one he's not heard of yet from the way she's joining her hands together.

Bel Canto (194) has posed:
"I am Bel Canto, Heir to the throne of the planet Harmonia, firstborn of the house of High C, Knight of Harmony, Mastersinger of the Song of Harmony and the Song of Peace." As she speaks, it's not a single voice that's saying those words. It's dozens of voices, low and high, speaking in perfect unison with multiple intricate harmonies. The voice causes vibration that ripples outwards with gentle warmth, morning sunlight on the skin. Her sword and armor take on an interior glow, white with rainbow pastel hues.

The full weight and meaning of the sound and frequencies are lost on human senses, even enhanced ones. She's given her entire pedigree, personality and picture of her very soul through multidimensional energy. To her it's as natural as a handshake. On Earth? It's probably showboating.

As the energy and glow fades, Bel sheathes her sword. "Might I have the honor of your name and resonance?"

Captain America has posed:
There's a long moments pause from Rogers as he listens to that voice. A light bob of his head as he purses his lips for a moment. Out of respect he copies the hand motions before speaking. His own voice resonates out with the sheer unadulterated power of

A man in his mid to late twenties who's just had a cup of coffee. "Hi, Steve Rogers." Such power such grace such... average Brooklyn charm! Alright so it's not that impressive but it's short sweet and to the point as he leans back to his sitting position.

Bel Canto (194) has posed:
Bel watches Steve's impressive human display.

"Ah. Again, I am adjusting. Introductions for humans are so much ... shorter." She sits back down, placing her arms on the armrests. Embarassed Bel is embarassed.

"It is good to meet you, Steve Rogers. Are you a servant of Mister Stark?"

Captain America has posed:
"Try to keep it short sweet and to the point, I'm just a boy from brooklyn." A light smile crossing Rogers face as he finishes speaking. He's calm and collected as he lets out a bit of a chuckle.

Yet another pause as he looks over towards Bel. There's a moment where he just has to stop and remind himself that this isn't just one of Tony's practical jokes. Quietly he wonders for just a moment if it is one of Tony's jokes, just an LMD or the like programmed to give him a hard time. Still he lets the comment slide off his back like water off a duck. "Might not be many people who can control Tony, but I can tell you without a doubt the only master I serve is a whole lot more Powerful then Tony could hope to be."

Bel Canto (194) has posed:
Bel makes the assumption that Rogers is commoner, and thusly, it is her duty to be benevolent to him. His last comment strikes her interest. Perhaps Steve serves the most powerful human entity on the planet! "Oh? Who is your master, then, Steve Rogers?" she asks pleasantly, stern face lighting into a hint of a smile.

Captain America has posed:
"What?" Steve pauses for a moment at the question, before realizing again that he's made a misstep in speaking. It's been a while since he's had to tone himself down for working with people from completely foreign background while still speaking English.

It doesn't take him more then a moments pause. "Oh I'm talking about god, he created the universe, wrote a book called the bible." A quick nod of Captain America's head as he speaks. "Even sent his own son to be drug through the street and hung on a cross for the sins of the entire planet." He pauses for a moment. "It's basically my way of saying I'm independent."

It takes him a moment to get through the explanation but he gets there eventually. "I'm my own man, actually most of the people here are" As he grabs for that cup of coffee. "Sure we all try and follow the law when it's just but most of us don't exactly take orders or serve directly under anyone else."

Bel Canto (194) has posed:
The alien woman is silent for a time, mulling all this over in her head.

"You seem a Knight then, Steve Rogers. The divine lives the way of give, not get. This is the law of my people, our highest way. See to the wellbeing of thy kindred, as they see to thine own," Bel shares. Perhaps some concepts are truly universal.

"I am at a loss, however, if Earth's kindred all go their own way. How will I know where the disharmony comes from, when it arrives, as I saw in my vision? How can help protect this people if they obey no leader, follow no order or structure, speak so many languages?" She's beginning to grasp the scope of the situation, and distress eaks its way into her tone.

Captain America has posed:
"I suppose that's something you'll have to find out for yourself" Steve starts with a calm voice leaning down slightly. "But if you ever need help, we're here for you." Steve holds out his hand a small card inside of it. "We could use someone like you on our team, and you seem like you could use some guidance."
