Synopsis: Summary needed
Cast of Characters: Twitch, Elixir, Banshee, Jubilee, Souvenir, X-23

Twitch has posed:
It's a beautiful day out and people are in and by the pool, relaxing, splashing, making noise and some actually swimming.

Among those hanging out here is Tyler Grant, the young man currently in the midst of doing a front flip into a dive from the side of the pool. He swims a good length of the pool under the water before coming up, walking the rest of the way to the steps and climbing out to mosey around to one of the chairs where his towel waits. Sliding into his seat he leans back, enjoying the feel of the sun on his body as he watches the other people at play.

Elixir has posed:
Josh looks up from the chair beside Tyler and nods. He has a textbook in his lap and a notebook tucked under one leg so it doesn't escape ontot the wet pool deck. He fishes a soda out of the cooler he brought and tosses it to Tyler. Samantha is asleep in the reclining chair on the other side of him, soaking up the sun.

"It's a hard life," he comments to Tyler with a chuckle. "Is like nobody in class today?"

Banshee has posed:
Mr. Cassidy, as an older member of faculty, is doing exactly what he needs to be doing: being something of a stick in the mud, at present. He's in shorts and an athletic, mesh-sided shirt, flip flops, under one of the shaded umbrellas at a table near the pool. He's older but there's no 'dad' build, the man looks like cop or military build, which is more obvious as he's dressed down. The pale Irishman is well-covered in sunblock, sunglasses, and, of course, some paperwork. Because that is what you bring to a pool on a summer's day: something to get done instead of enjoying anything.

He also has a cooler near him containing extra soft drinks for the students, and some various snacks set up at his table. He keeps watch, looking out now and then at the pool.

Jubilee has posed:
Jubilee is just being solar-powered. It seems like approximately eleven months and ten days since she got to lay in the sun. She is soaking up every. Single. Drop. Her swimsuit looks like a tiny pin-up model dress, effectively making her look like a China doll lying still and content in the warmth of the sun. In one hand, a fudgecicle melts in between licks. Her goggles for once...on the table beside her as her dark hair is splayed out and warming too.

Twitch has posed:
Snatching the tossed soda out of the air Tyler says to Josh, "Thanks, man." He cracks the soda open and has a long drink from it, "I only had a couple of things to do today, class wise. I guess everyone else is in the same boat." Setting down his soda next to his chair Tyler rocks to his feet and says, "I'm going to grab a snack. You want one?"

The young man heads towards Sean's table, greeting the teacher with a friendly, "Hey there, Mr. Cassidy. How's it going? Mind if I snag some stuff?" He gestures towards the snacks.

Jubilee catches his attention as he readies himself to grab some food. He lifts a hand at her, "Hi. Erika and I have been trying to track you down. We're trying to find out if you can teach us some stuff to work on our flexibility. I'm pretty good there, but she's looking to get a better and we need some more stretches we can do."

Elixir has posed:
"Maybe I'll come grab something," he says and pushes himself up. He walks over to the snack table wearing blue board shorts and flip flops. "Hey, Mr. Cassidy," he greets their teacher. Assuming the snacks are for everyone, he helps himself to some chips. "So how come we're like the only two doing any work around here?" he jokes to Cassidy.

Josh waves to Jubilee when Tyler starts talking with her. The swimsuit is quite the contrast to the exploding balls of plasma and the undead from the night before. The whole pool scene was, in fact. Reassuringly normal, even with that green gilled guy hanging out at the bottom of the pool for a dozen minutes at a time.

Banshee has posed:
A girl across the way starts to bolt in a run along the edge of the pool past some other students, having spotted a friend on the other side. "Hannah. Slow it down," Sean barks. His voice carries, like a drill sergeant. The girl immediately slows down, embarrassed, doing that little skip-hurried-rapid walk that you do when you are trying to go fast but not actually /run/.

"Hi Tyler. Help yourself," Sean says, welcoming to the young man, with a gesture across the gathered items. Some of the things are healthy, but there is also a decidedly large array of junk food there too. "Hi, Josh. Just the dedicated few," Sean chuckles. "Which subject?" Sean asks, with a tip of head towards Josh's work.
He does arch a brow a little at Tyler's question to Jubilee. "You can also come out to my dawn jogs, for stamina," Sean says, an amused smile in his voice. Students have not been taking him up on his awful strenuous dawn workout regime, for some reason.

Jubilee has posed:
"Oh, hey Tyler! Sure thing. Stretchiness is Godliness!" She grins , glancing around the pool to see who all has shown up since she disappeared into the bliss behinds the sanguine glow of the sun on her eyelids. "Oh hi, Josh!" She smiles and waves at Josh and Samantha. Then there's Sean back in his umbrella cave. "Oh hey! Don't you people ever work?" She winks, watching him shuffle papers.

Souvenir has posed:
Erika Kristasdottir wanders out in her emerald colored one piece which unfortunately doesn't flatter what little figure she has, wearing black pool shoes and with an oversized towel rolled up on her shoulders, wearing long black mesh gloves. She looks around uncertainly and ponders the pool with a frown, sighing, before looking at who is around.

Twitch has posed:
"Yeah, grab yourself something," says Tyler to Josh with a nod.

"I'll join you tomorrow morning. We'll have to see if I can keep up with you," Tyler tells Sean with a grin as he gets a bit of food together and starts chomping on it. "I'll see if Erika wants to come, too. Running is one of the best exercises you can do and she's trying to get in shape."

Then he looks over towards Jubilee again, "Cool. It'll be good to learn some new stuff. I'm always trying to learn some new ways to improve my physical fitness."

As Erika shows up Tyler spots her and grins, "Speak of the devil." He waves an arm at her, "Hey Erika! I was just talking with these guys about how we're working on exercising and stretching and all that."

Elixir has posed:
"Organic chem," Josh answers Cassidy. "Got an assignment due next week that I'm trying to figure out. I've got like four courses this semester, it's busy," he shrugs. "Marking?" he asks with a nod to Cassidy's own work. "Bet that never ends."

Samantha smiles lazily and waves back at Jubilee, then puts her head back and closes her eyes.

Josh looks over when Tyler mentions Erika and smiles. He waves in her direction. "Hey, that's progress," he comments to Sean. "She's kinda shy."

Banshee has posed:
Sean nods to Josh's question. "Endless, yep, but I dinnae mind." With a slightly narrowed eye look behind his sunglasses, Sean picks up a package of red twizzler candy, and lobs it in an easy arc, aimed to land, hopefully, on Jubilee's stomach. That's his reply to her jab about the work ethic. Eat the sugar. He relaxes a little bit more, seems to remind himself that it's fine to relax in the sun, he folds his folder of work closed for now. Jubilee did get that point across to him.
"Th' objective is to do what YE can do to best work on ye fitness, not t' keep up with what other can do. But workout buddy, if ya have one, always gonna help." Sean smiles across to Erika when Tyler brings her up. "Ah'm happy to provide workout regimes for an'one that would like," Sean says.

Souvenir has posed:
Erika Kristasdottir ohs? She wanders over. "Awesome. I've been trying to run in the morning. That and I need to find someone who can show me how to hit a bag really hard so I can get my hands tougher."

She slips over that way. "I kind of wish I could swim, but I think it might be dangerous for me." She sighs. "At least here."

Twitch has posed:
"When it comes to working out I like to push myself as much as I safely can. It's a lot easier if there's someone who's better than me to try to compete with, at least for me," Tyler explains to Sean with a shrug of his shoulders.

He look at Erika and says, "I'll get you to a heavy bag and we'll get you tough enough to throw some decent punches without hurting yourself too bad." A look is given to the pool, then back to the girl, "Yeah, it's probably best that you don't swim when everyone else is in there. You can probably cool yourself off in the shallow end, though. I'll spot you if you want me to."

Jubilee has posed:
Jubilee squeaks as she takes a package of twizzlers to the abdomen. "I'm hit!!" she declares dramatically, even as she's ripping open the package. "I don't...know...if I'm gonna...make it..." She falls limp and shoves a twizzler in her mouth.

With a start, Jubilee sits up, honeyed brown eyes wide. She hops up and trots till she gets to Sean, and slows to a very deliberately slow walk past him, snagging a bottle of sunscreen from the table of offerings. She smiles to Sean sweetly, still clenched on the twizzler, and she makes it over to Samantha. "Hey, can you help me put on sunscreen please? I haven't been out in the sun in a loooong time." She strips the tiny dress part of her swimsuit off, leaving her in a turquoise and pink bikini. "I'll do you next."

Elixir has posed:
From behind Tyler, Josh mouths <just being nice> to Erika and smiles reassuringly.

"Uh oh, should I be worried?" he muses mostly to himself with a lopsided smile when Jubilee goes over to Samantha.

"Goldie, heads up!" someone shouts from the pool. Josh looks over just in time to catch a volleyball that throws off pool water when he catches it. He chucks it back and one of the juniors waves his thanks.

Banshee has posed:
"Any particular reason we be trainin' to fight?" Sean asks Tyler curiously, scanning to Erika. It isn't necessarily judgmental, but it has a mild weight to that he suspects there is something more here than just an interest in hitting a punching bag. "Somethin' goin' on?" He won't read as angry, still the friendly, relaxed lilt in his tone, but he's concerned for them.

Twitch has posed:
When Jubilee reveals herself to be wearing a bikini Tyler might just happen to take another little look her way. Just a glance, really, but he has to make sure he doesn't let his gaze linger. Instead he looks at Cassidy, then at Erika, then back to Sean, "I fight all the time. I'm into Brazilian jiu jitsu and kickboxing so I can do MMA. I'm trying to get with Mr. Logan because I hear he's into martial arts so I can train with him." Then he shrugs, "I'd be trying to go pro in a couple of years if I wasn't a mutant. Instead I think I'm going to be a cop or something, if I can."

Jubilee has posed:
Jubilee sits on the lower end of Samantha's lounge and holds her hair up with both hands as Samantha rubs sunscreen down over Jubilee's shoulders and back. With a squeak and a gigglesquirm, Jubilee laughs. "It's so coold!!" She tenses a little as Samantha rubs it in. "Ohh...thank you Soo much."

Elixir has posed:
"Just make sure she doesn't have another Laura-style lesson," Josh quips to Tyler. "Don't wanna be patching poor Erika up again."

He winks to Erika, takes another handful of chips and eats them on his way back to his chair. Josh sits down, smiles at Sam and picks up his textbook with his free hand. "Hey Jubilee, you heard anything about how that new girl from last night is doing?"

Banshee has posed:
"Logan? Great re'source for sparrin', he's a master of piles o'styles," Sean grants to Tyler, with a slow nod, relieved that this isn't some strange student fight club forming.

"For the cop thing, y'll want me, though," Sean says with a soft laugh. "Can get you some talks w' the NYPD, if you like. Worked there a number o' years as a Detective. At least y'can see if it's for ya, lad, make some connections."

Twitch has posed:
"No way. I already bought her wraps so she won't hurt her wrists and I'm taking her to a gym with a heavy bag so we can make sure the rest of what she uses to punch is tough enough to withstand some punishment," Tyler says to Josh. "And she'll be wearing gloves when she first starts, that's for sure. Eventually we can get down to just the hand wraps, but that won't be for a while, probably."

Then he's looking at Sean again. "The more I can pick up about fighting, the better. That way it'll be harder for an opponent to surprise me with something I'm not used to." The young man lets out a laugh, "Really? That would be cool. My big brother's a dispatcher, but he doesn't interact directly with a whole lot of cops. It'd be good to get to know some guys personally." He lifts his chin and asks, "Did they know you were a mutant? I'm kind of concerned about that coming out during the hiring process. Especially because I helped bust up some crooks on a few occasions, dodged some bullets, knocked out a bunch of guys, that sort of thing."

Jubilee has posed:
"Nope, I dunno where she is today. Haven't seen her since I left for my cabin last night," she says, as Samantha pulls off her swimsuit cover-up and Jubilee starts applying sunscreen so the poor dear doesn't burn to a crisp. She may or may not 'accidentally' tickle Samantha while putting on her sunscreen.

Souvenir has posed:
Erika Kristasdottir uhs.. She tracks that little... display of Jubilee's with her eyes with bit of confusion, and looks back at Sean with some puzzlement. She glances that way now and then. "Uh. Well, I really tore my hands up with Laura's sock. I'm not... Trying to learn how to fight? I'm learning how to survive myself knowing how to fight. There's a difference, for me."

She blinks. "With the red eyes? Drama bitch? She was throwing slurs at me this morning and freaking out. Then she went out to look around. I don't know she's up to right now. She was being a real shit though. Hopefully that wears off."

Elixir has posed:
Josh gives a sideways glance at the two women then looks back to his book before he gets busted. "Drama bitch? That's a new one. What'd she freak out about?" he asks Erika."

He looks at Samantha again, pensively, this time. She raises an eyebrow at him. He smiles it off with bit of a shake if the head and looks back to his book. "And try to cut her some slack. She was literally locked in a mausoleum for days and... it was weird."

Banshee has posed:
"Who said ah was a mutant?" Mr. Cassidy quips back to Tyler, sleekly, a tease under his tone about it even if his expression doesn't carry any joke. "For /any/ job, more friends th' better. Networkin's a vital skill," Sean diverts, stretching forward to lean to rummage in the cooler. He selects an iced tea, and relaxes back in his chair, one pale leg lifted to rest across the opposite knee. "I'd like t'say doesn't matter if ye are or not. It really depends on the group. " Sean explains. "Who y'come in through. Rather /assure/ ya, but ah can't. Things can vary a bit, year t'year, on tolerance."

"Her sock. Ah'm missin' somethin', mayhap," Sean remarks of Erika's strange explanation, but doesn't push ... yet. There's a mausoleum person to discuss. "E'eryone needs a period to adjust. D'you know which o' the faculty's checkin' on 'er?"

Twitch has posed:
Tyler glances at Jubilee again when he hears her speak, looking away quickly when he realizes that she's rubbing sunscreen on Sam. Then he looks at Erika and nodding. "She seems really broken up about being a mutant. She literally asked us to kill her."

Eyeing Mr. Cassidy for a moment, Tyler breaks into a half smile. "I'd like someday to be publicly out about being a mutant some day, but it's more important that I'm in a position to help people, I think."

Souvenir has posed:
Erika Kristasdottir sighs and rolls her eyes a bit. "She called me a freak, she said I was twelve, then she called me 'little girl' a couple times. I was kind of surprised she didn't let the M word fly. She wanted to know if she could arrest the guy who tried to murder her. She's. A. Mess. And she's being a total ass to everybody." She edges around so that the sunscreen is directly behind her back.

Jubilee has posed:
"Just think about what you're saying here...You've already said worse about her than she said to you. You're that upset over an insinuation. You're MORE than upset over your sleep patterns. She has been well....murdered? Dumped and locked in with ghosts for days. Her life as she knew it is officially over." Jubilee furrows her brow as she stands up, all done with the sunscreen. "Yet you're the one judging actually name-calling. It isn't always easy to find out how to reach students who are absorbed completely with coming to grips with their abilities, or their situation. And she is doing both."

Banshee has posed:
"Worked f' years without using mutant ability," Sean says, done with teasing Tyler about the issue, obviously. "T'was something ya hid, if ya could. Better to, as you say, do some good. Still that way for a lot 'o us. Waitin' for th' world to catch up t'where it needs to be," Sean sighs, but smiles anyway. "Still isn't somethin' I rely on. But everybody gets t'make them choices as best for them."
Sean leans forwards and taps a few times on the table near Tyler, gaze steady on the younger man. "If y' gonnae use it, though, as a cop? Better to be open about et. And get a group that's a'ight with it. They 'xist. An' use th' resources 'ere - don't got to be /me/ -- though I'm 'ere, 'course. For now, anyway."

Sean looks across to Erika and Jubilee, but leaves Jubilee to manage that conversation twist, for the moment.

X-23 has posed:
Laura comes out of the mansion, following the scents of others. She approaches, and gives a nod to the others, looking over. "Hello." she says, frowning some at the presence of New People.

Souvenir has posed:
Erika Kristasdottir sighs, "Yeah, and I was being a total bitch to everybody, and awful, and if you're saying you didn't complain when my back was turned then I am totally impressed because seriously, that doesn't happen around me. I TOTALLY had it coming. I'm hoping she's feeling better soon. I tried to help." She waves at Laura, "Hey!"

Twitch has posed:
"I can hide mine pretty well, most of the time," Tyler says to Cassidy with a nod. "But you're right. I'll end up using my powers on the job sometimes and it's best that the guys I'm working with know what I'm capable of ahead of time so that I don't surprise them by dodging bullets out of nowhere." There's a very thoughtful look on his face. "I'll probably bend your ear about stuff from time to time, if that's cool. Maybe on those morning runs."

The kid looks between Erika and Jubilee, but doesn't comment. Laura instead gets his attention next, "Hey Laura! How are you? Coming out for a swim?"

Jubilee has posed:
Jubilee sees where this is going and sighs deeply, opening her mouth to reply to Erika, but she is tackled from the side and unceremoniously plunked in the pool with a sideways squeal and a giggle.

Elixir has posed:
"You weren't that bad," Josh assures Erika with a smile. "But Jubilee's got a point. This girl had it rough, and I mean, she even /looks/ dead. Like, it's gonna take some serious time, you know?"

Josh leans over and picks up Samantha's drink, stealing a sip from it with a grin at her before he puts it back.

"Ty, you'd make an awesome cop, man; you've already got experience taking down bad guys," he says with a chuckle. He looks over when Tyler greets Laura and waves as well.

X-23 has posed:
Laura looks over. "I do not have one of...those." She nods to the swimsuits. "Also, I do not float as well as most people."

Banshee has posed:
"Don't stand behind ye when there's bullets flyin', got it," Sean chuckles some with a quick wink at Tyler. "Though in seriousness, if there /are/ bullets flyin, most e'eryone here should be behind me, or gettin' outa the situation." There's a firmness there. No heroics, let the bigger guns stand in front until they're ready.

"Oy, watch th' roughhousin'," Sean barks towards the student that shoved Jubilee, though there's not a lot of force behind it. Still has to do it.

Back to Tyler. "If ye have a little group tha's venturin' out to do good 'an fight 'bad guys', rather you do it with an escort," Sean says, his steady look moving to Josh as well. "Less o' those curfews an' travel-bans get imposed. I cannae force y' to talk to me or whoever, but, I rather ye do, goin' forward."

Souvenir has posed:
Erika Kristasdottir mms, "Maybe we can find you one? You can always hang out in the shallow part. Maybe we can shop for one sometime soon. Do you have any ideas what kind or what color you'd like?" She adjusts herself to continue to face away from the splashing around, embarrassed.

She looks back at Sean and tilts her head. "I want to help out with stuff, I just don't know how. Tyler had the idea of passing out wristbands to people while they practice stuff, so I can just grab a few and have some skills to work with. Useful things."

Twitch has posed:
"Thanks dude," Tyler says to Josh with a big grin on his face, quite happy about the compliment.

Looking at Laura Tyler presses his lips tightly together and makes a 'hmm' noise, "Erika's right. Even if you don't float very well it can be fun to splash around in the shallow end. Maybe someone's got a suit you could borrow for now to see how you like it."

Then he looks back to Sean and nods deeply, "If I'm with faculty I ask before I start kicking people's asses so I don't get in trouble again. Lately it's just been kind of random stuff that happens when I'm out and about, like that bank thing." There's another nod, "I'll ask you next time something comes up and I know about it ahead of time. Andrea getting on me to make sure faculty knows if I'm going to do something like that, too."

Elixir has posed:
Josh raises his hands to Sean and nods in agreement with Tyler. "I /promise/ you won't be getting any more trouble out of me," he assures him. Samantha cocks her head at Josh and frowns slightly.

"New Mutants things," Josh clarifies for Sean after Erika speaks. "Erika's seen some kind of messed up things after stuff has happened since she got here. Been worried and wanting to help."

X-23 has posed:
Laura moves over to the edge of the water, near the shallow end. "If the specific clothes are not required, I can still get in." She looks down at it, clearly a little dubious, but willing to accept her teammates' advice. "Most of the things I have worn are black." she tells Erika.

Banshee has posed:
"Things like tha' just aren't worth gettin' kicked out of this school," Sean says, with the same seriousness, though it isn't a dark tone. "We need the studen's to stay safe. An' sometimes, yanno, might be on yer side, and y'are better able to help the people y'want to help with a bit more power behin' ya. Or at least a better vehicle t' arrive in. I prefer helicopter." Sean drinks his iced tea, briefly distracted as he scans over students, but Tyler still does have the teacher's attention. "Some o' us can arrive really rapidly to aid. Callin' in a report does not make ya weak. Makes ya smart."

Of Erika's statement, Sean considers. "I wouldnae push t' hard on makin' your ability 'useful' yet, lass. Get stable an' comfy with y'self first in your own skin," Sean says, more gently to her. "How you can help others'll come."

Jubilee has posed:
Im the pool, Jubilee bobs, splashes, giggles, and sputters, as her player drives home.

Twitch has posed:
Looking at Laura for a second Tyler shrugs and says, "Just take off your shoes and socks first, then I guess you're good to go in." He watches her carefully, however, looking as though he's trying to think of something else to tell her or warn her about.

Clearly still paying attention to Mr. Cassidy, even though he's spending a lot of time looking in Laura's direction, he tells the Irishman, "Helicopter would be rad. I usually take my bike, then dismount when I get close to the scene so I can travel by rooftop. It's a lot quieter than my bike." THen he nods, "I'll see about getting a Bluetooth headset or something so I can call stuff in without taking my attention away from whatever's going on. I can get distracted from stuff pretty easily."

Souvenir has posed:
Erika Kristasdottir nods. To Laura, "Okay, but do you WANT to wear black? Black is a good color, but you can wear other colors if you would like to."

She hmms, "Yeah, well, it IS really useful. I mean, like.. Look. You take like, a trauma surgeon. After his shift, you steal his socks. That's two times that I can have mismatched socks and show up at a mass crisis situation and start stitching people up, setting bones, fixing torn arteries and stuff for a couple hours until my head starts ringing too bad. And as long as somebody has been flying it before, if I need to I can jump in the helicopter and fly it back."

X-23 has posed:
"I have not worn other colors. I do not know what to wear beside that? It is only recently I have worn other outfits." Laura answers, and will take off her shoes and socks, and looks awkwardly at the pool, starting over to the ladder to come in.

Elixir has posed:
"If you get splashed, it's just an accident or someone playing around," Josh notes to Laura with a smile. Then he turns his attention back to his book.

Banshee has posed:
"An' effort's all I ask," Sean agrees, seeming to be fine with the Bluetooth headset concept. He lets their conversation taper off, watching the students interact with Laura and her experience of the pool. He considers Erika's commentary about the socks. "What happens iffin ye lose a sock while y'at the helm o' the helicopter? Let's not be leanin' on it too heavy with flyin' deathtraps," Sean suggests.

Redirecting to Josh's original comment, "Ah'd rather hear 'bout it than not. Ah know y' kids been busy."

Twitch has posed:
"Cool. I'll see if I can pick one up next paycheck," Tyler tells Sean before he grabs some more food to snack on. Once he's wolfed down his stuff he heads back to the pool and hops easily into it, being careful to avoid the other folks in there. After coming up from underwater he swims over towards where Laura's getting in and stands nearby, glancing around to make sure nobody's in easy bumping into range. He says to Laura, "The pool can be a lot of fun, just be careful of other people. Sometimes they'll bump into you or you'll bump into them accidentally. You gotta make sure not to hit them if they do that, because sometimes my stuff gets triggered when I'm surprised and I go 'fight or flight' at weird times. I almost broke a kid's arm at my old school when he slammed the locker next to mine. I had him in an Americana on the ground before I realized what happened."

Souvenir has posed:
Erika Kristasdottir shrugs, "Uhh.. Well, ONE, how do you lose a sock when you're flying a helicopter? Seriously. How do you even get that? Two, like.. I would be touching the controls of the helicopter, right? SOMEONE who touched the controls knew how to fly it."

To the boys, "Oh, I found out another cool thing I can do. I'm just not sure what I can do with it yet."

X-23 has posed:
Laura nods at the cautions given her. "I will not stab anyone." She promises. "I am...not certain about this." she says, and carefully walks about in the shallows.

Elixir has posed:
"No, seriously, not arguing, no problems" he assures Sean. "Really."

Samantha's expression darkens and she stands up. "You're a jerk!" she says to Josh, seemingly out of the blue. She grabs her towel and bag and walks off.

Josh facepalms and he curses under his breath. He gathers up his stuff quickly. "Freaking telepaths... Sorry guys, gotta run," he says, smiling apologetically. "Stupid teenage stuff. Later!"

He waves to Tyler and Laura in the pool and then heads off after

Banshee has posed:
Sean sighs a little into the teenage girl sass from Erika. He's patient. "Ah admit I picked a poor 'xample in socks. My poin' bein, we do not know your limits yet, or what happen if y're blasted with a bunch of unexpected input durin' something like dat. A' least, I don't. Rather understan' it. But yeh, iffin I keel o'er and you have to fly the chopper, knowin ye can step in is great, lass," Sean smiles.
After a glance at his phone, he frowns some. He looks over to Jubilee. "Jubilee, watch th' pool for a bit? I've got t'go in a tick. Be noisy if ye need me, I'll hear ya," he says, with a tap to his ear, and starts to head inside.

Twitch has posed:
Looking up at Erika from what's going on around him in the pool Tyler grins, "Cool! You'll have to tell us about it so we can try to figure out what to do."

Laura's words get the young man's attention and he nods, "That's cool. We'll figure out if you like it or not. It's good that you gave it a shot, though." He moves a little closer to her and ducks down so that only his head is above the water, "It's more fun to do stuff in the pool than on land, usually. If you want to try floating and you're not sure if you're positively bouyant I'll be nearby if you want me to be."

Josh gets a wave, "See you later, bro." Sean gets one, too, "Later, Mr. Cassidy."

Souvenir has posed:
Erika Kristasdottir nods at Tyler, "Yeah, I don't know who all I should tell. But like, if I link with something somebody is wearing, I get, like, patched in to their senses and surface thoughts. That's probably really useful for something. I just don't know what yet."

Twitch has posed:
"Nice. So you could read what I was going to do if you grabbed my gi and we were rolling? I could see that being really useful," Tyler says, his mind going straight to fighting. "I'd keep the mind reading stuff on the DL for the most part, because you don't want people thinking you're going to invade their privacy or whatever, but if you want to give it a shot I'm around. I've got a couple of secrets, but I'm not really worried about you telling people."

Souvenir has posed:
Erika Kristasdottir eeehs, "Well yeah, but I still have my whole.. twitchy thing I have to deal with. And it's kind of crazy. There's so much to deal with. It's so crowded... But like.. It has to be good for something. Maybe not that right now."

Twitch has posed:
"I can't help you with the twitches. I can't manage my own without taking an anxiety pill most of the time," Tyler says with a shrug. A splash nearby causes him to demonstrate when his head twitches to look over at the source of the sound. He rolls his eyes at his own action, then returns to looking at Erika, "I think it might be one of those things you need to practice on to get good at. It sounds like it would be a pain in the ass otherwise."

Souvenir has posed:
Erika Kristasdottir sighs, "Well, yeah. It's like.. I touch something and I get all these memories.. like, imagine every movement and every feeling you have over a whole jujutsu class, then imagine having them all at the same time. And my eyes go kind of crazy. Then after a couple of seconds, it's done and I just have a.. THING sitting in my brain. And I kind of know what's in it."

Twitch has posed:
"Holy shit, that's got to be intense," Tyler says to Erika, wide eyed. "I don't know how practice is really going to help you there." He moves to the side of the pool and lifts himself easily out of the water, getting to his feet and heading to his chair to pick up his long forgotten drink to have a gulp. "It's still a pretty cool ability, I think. A lot depends on how fast you get over the initial reaction to it."

Souvenir has posed:
Erika Kristasdottir nods. "Well.. yeah. I know. I don't know how much better I can get at it, either. I have my guesses why it does that? But they don't really help much. And yeah, that's what I am dealing with every time I put on a piece of clothes or anything. Even if there's not that much there, it's still kind of intense. "

Twitch has posed:
Tyler takes a seat in his chair and goes back to looking at Erika, "I'm sorry you've got to go through with all of that." The young man sighs, shakes his head and says, "I wish that there was something I could do to help you. I feel bad knowing that you're going through this stuff and there's nothing I can do about it."

Souvenir has posed:
Erika Kristasdottir ehs and shrugs noncommittally. "Well lik, I'm not in super pain, it's just kind of youch for a moment. And my head kind of blows up. And it gets better. So like... Annoying, but not torture or anything.

Twitch has posed:
"Still, it's not like it's pleasant," Tyler's got a frown on his face for a short time before it fades away. "I was just thinking about taking you for a ride on my motorcycle, but then I realized as soon as you put on my helmet you'd be able to drive it yourself." He finishes off his drink and starts looking around for a place to get rid of his trash, spotting a can about fifteen feet away and easily tossing the rubbish into it.

Souvenir has posed:
Erika Kristasdottir smiles, "Well yeah... But that doesn't mean I wouldn't like to hang out with my friend on a motorcycle." She spreads the towel over a chair and sits on it.

Twitch has posed:
"I'll still give you a ride from time to time," Tyler says with a grin. "I just thought it would be cool that you could just do it yourself, too." He lifts his chin her way, "So is there anywhere you want to go? It's getting a little late and you've been out here not swimming for a while, I figure we can find something to do or somewhere to go if you'd like."

Souvenir has posed:
Erika Kristasdottir says, "That sounds super awesome. Maybe not right this instant, but soon, ok?" She wanders back inside. "I need to go see what's up, first. Maybe make some calls."
