Cast of Characters: Chris Redfield, She-Hulk, Lucky Day

Chris Redfield has posed:
Ah, Manhattan. A beautiful day in New York all together. Not to hot, not too cold, but a subtle and cool breeze hung JUST RIGHT in the air that might give someone the chills if blown the right way. Thus is it mostly a day for jackets and a bit more heavier clothing, but there's always a rebel around wearing a tanktop and shorts just BEGGING for a cold. But...lo and behold, Chris Redfield is enjoying the day like everyone else!

....Mainly because he was legitimately forced to take a day off. So nobody can call him 'Mr. No days off' anymore. Sadness. But, oh well, Chris needs to reconnect with people anyway. So! He chills on a bench in Manhattan's resident central park, dressed warmly with a brown leather jacket, blue jeans, combat boots, and of course, a black longsleeve shirt.

Coffee in one hand and a pleasant book in the other, Chris sits alone...entirely defeating the purpose of the day off, but....stubborn people for you.

She-Hulk has posed:
She-Hulk is for some odd reason holding an empty steel drum not too far from Chris. There are a few people around her with cameras, "...and why am I doing this again?" One of the cameramen replies, "It's for your publicity!" She-Hulk sighs, "Fine.." The cameras start rolling and She-Hulk proceeds to ball up the steel drum in seconds, leaving a small ball-shaped crumple in her hands, "Tah dah!" The cameramen start clapping and they start to disperse.

Lucky Day has posed:
Tom cannot possibly clean up all the mess his mere existences causes but sometimes he does what he can. The lady who held the door open for him two days ago has lost her job and is about to lose her home before Tom got wind of it as he is now walking behind her making up reasons to hate her. He has about finished when he finally takes a deep breath and rubs his eyes. The curse can be exhausting sometimes. He considers what to do while here. He is inheriently annoyed by the paparazi who get a lovely shot as an opportune breeze floats by. He can't help it. He HATES Paparazi.

Chris Redfield has posed:
Chris finds himself watching as She-Hulk is apparently doing a publicity stunt, literally. Crushing up one of those steel drums like it was a normal wad of wrapping paper. He seems to nod somewhat approvingly, since he's seen a lot of strong people do that. But hey, still cool each time ya see it. "Not bad." Chris compliments She-Hulk's performance before his eyes fall on Tom, tilting his head at him curiously.

She-Hulk has posed:
She-Hulk shrugs, "For some reason people never get bored of seeing that. Apparently I've been convinced to increase my fanbase? Do I really need one? I mean I'm already an attorney of no small repute.." She looks around, "But maybe that video will make a few rounds on the internet and scare some criminals out of whatever they were planning today? Maybe?"

Lucky Day has posed:
Tom find himself liking She-Hulk's attitude in spite of himself, which would of course mean a low level of bad luck for her. Not enough to make the barrel spontaneously combust or collapse but it might become...slippery. Since he was nominally incognito, he isn't wearing his 'villain' outfit with fake mustache, top hat and cape but his curse tends to make him stand out in a crowd to anyone of significance so he is easily spotted by Chris. There is something about him that, all things being equal is just slightly...annoying.

Chris Redfield has posed:
"Eh, I wouldn't get too hopeful." Chris shrugs mildly to Shulkie, before he eventually stands and approaches her, extending her a hand. "Chris Redfield." hopefully she doesn't try to crush his hand either, before he looks back to Tom...yeah, annoying is the nice word for it. Does untrustworthy count?

She-Hulk has posed:
She-Hulk just takes Chris's hand lightly, not applying any pressure, "You probably know who I am." The balled up drum slips from her hand, "Oops.. hope no one saw that. Last thing I need is a littering charge. My enemies in the law profession would have a field day. Thought the drum was empty but I guess there could have been some residue.." She picks it back up.

Lucky Day has posed:
Tom eyes Chris eyeing him and frowns. He has enough to deal with today with out random people randomly giving him the stink eye. This might make his own luck improve. The residue in the barrel was an unusual chemical that made everyone in the area likely a bit light headed from paint fumes. The photographers did, in fact catch it and there were, in fact, rivals already thinking of ways to try and charge her for litering. Tom, not wanting to seem creepy and also eying Chris suspiciously, "My name is Tom Night, nice to meet you." Did anyone care?

Chris Redfield has posed:
Chris noticed that She-Hulk wasn't applying pressure. Even if Chris was basically superhuman, Shulkie was more than likely physically stronger than him. With that in mind, he simply smiles, giving her hand a nice shake before releasing it. "Careful, reporters will have a field day." thank god Chris didn't end up with normal superpowers....being a superhero would suuuck. Though his eyes do shift to find Tom eyeing him in return, and when Tom walks on over? Chris nods. "Chris Redfield. Likewise." he extends a hand to shake Tom's.

She-Hulk has posed:
She-Hulk shrugs again, "Well what else is new? Even if they do decide to spam the tabloids with stories about me it won't be the first time." She glances at Tom for a moment.

Lucky Day has posed:
Tom glances at the tabloid reporters who photograph the three of them, though he doesnt tend to get famous easily. It is something the old him liked so fame eludes him except in the worst possible ways. "Pleased to meet you Chris. And definitely a fan of your work Ms Hulk." The fumes from the barrel had a few of the photographers giggling and Tom looked even more annoyed. Those were some VERY good pictures. Chris's luck was zeroed out at this point, a rare null of reaction that was neither positive nor negative.

Chris Redfield has posed:
Redfield noticed the tabloid reporters having their day, but he shrugs, since She-Hulk apparently has no problems with it. Eyes travel to She-Hulk again. "Fair enough. I mean, there's probably no end to the stories right? Kinda know how that one feels. But not as intense." he winks playfully to her before he looks at Tom. Kiss up. Either way, at least he's friendly, so Chris has no problems. Though he does look at the barrel as it fumes, and he tilts his head. But hey, at least Chris is in some awesome shots. If anything, he might get chewed out by his SHIELD fellows.

She-Hulk has posed:
She-Hulk also glances at the fumes, "Well I guess we better take this hunk of metal somewhere to be disposed of properly. I was assured by those guys that it was empty. Well what's done is done.."

Lucky Day has posed:
Tom snickers himself and sighs, "yeah thats probably me, sorry. Things happen." Things like the curse picking up on Redfield's dislike of Tom's behavior. Lo and behold, Redfield's closest thing to a rival sees a picture show up on his facebook feed showing Redfield looking REALLY good in a slightly viral picture. The rival growls. "You might want to wait to take that out until I leave....no telling what it might do really.

Chris Redfield has posed:
Chris nods lightly to She-Hulk. "Yeah. Maybe we'll grab coffee when you take care of that. Not every day you meet a hero." he smiles to her before his eyes shift to Tom. then his phone buzzes, he goes to take it out before Tom comments on that. "um, alright? Why, you the bringer of bad luck?" now Chris is REALLY suspicious.

She-Hulk has posed:
She-Hulk also watches Tom, "Yeah that's kind of a bad break.. er.. um.. well obviously it's bad luck but.. oh I give up.." She waits for Tom to explain.

Lucky Day has posed:
Tom looks at Chris, "You have no idea." Well that depends. Chris just got the sweet parking spot at SHIELD HQ for the month. Meanwhile, She-Hulk's rival formally filed a litering charge chuckling to themselves. It wouldn't likely stick in court but would be annoying to deal with. "Seriously, I should go but it was nice meeting both of you." He tries not to take Chris's furrowed brow TOO personally. "Kind of cursed you see.

Chris Redfield has posed:
Chris looks at Tom, though he has no idea that he now has that EPIC parking spot. Damn skippy. Either way, he gives a little wave to Tom as he announces his departure. "Likewise man. Be seeing you." then he pauses. "Cursed?" though he also looks to She-Hulk, totally in agreement with her questions as if they were his own as well.

She-Hulk has posed:
She-Hulk blinks, "Well that wasn't weird at all.. never seen him before.. might want to keep an eye out. He's not the Green Goblin or anything but.. ya know.."

Lucky Day has posed:
Tom waves and wanders off. She-Hulks suspicion is indeed rewarded as the very compromising photo they took at JUST the right moment gets fizzled out.

Chris Redfield has posed:
Chris watches Tom wander off, before he blinks and looks at She-Hulk. "Yeah...no kidding. Trust me, I have a feeling I'm gonna end up seeing more of him." he sighs, before looking at She-Hulk. "So, coffee? Figures it might help limit strange interactions."

She-Hulk has posed:
She-Hulk thinks, "As friends.." She warily eyes Chris, "Might need to watch you too for that matter."

Chris Redfield has posed:
Chris blinks at She-Hulk. "What else would we go as?" he looks at She-Hulk confusedly, but there's a hint of teasing in his eyes. "Well, try not to watch me for too long. I might have to bring you in for harassment. Anyway, where ya gonna shove that fuming barrel?"

She-Hulk has posed:
She-Hulk shrugs, "Just making sure. You wouldn't believe how many times I get asked out by men with.. other intentions. I may have to start bringing my cousin with me when I go shopping truth be told.."

Chris Redfield has posed:
Chris tilts his head at her. "I...was being serious about going as friends, but if you want you can bring your cousin anyway." He kinda connects the dots that it might be the hulk because...who else is green?! Chris shrugs. "Anyway, it's up to you. could be fun."

She-Hulk has posed:
She-Hulk blinks, "Well um.. I guess.. he could come but. I honestly don't even know where he is. He tends to.. move around a lot."

Chris Redfield has posed:
Chris chuckles. "Well, then I guess it's just you and me, huh?" He walks over to She-Hulk and offers her his arm just to be a gentleman. "Have a specific coffee house you like going to? I don't really care or have a favorite."

She-Hulk has posed:
She-Hulk notes the arm, "I don't think that's a good idea.. might accidentally break something.. seriously." She looks over to a bench nearby to check something, "Oh.. almost forgot my shopping bags anyway. Definitely don't want to leave three hundred dollars worth of merchandise lying around." She retrieves the bags, "As for where? Anywhere is fine really. I usually drink my coffee at home so I don't know of many cafes."

Chris Redfield has posed:
Chris shrugs. "I'm tougher than I look, but alrighty." and he puts his hands in his pockets, chuckling to her as she frantically gets her bags back. "Definitely not a smart idea to leave that behind. Hhrrrmm..." he looks over at a Starbucks just across the street. "How about Starbucks?" and he starts walking in that direction.

She-Hulk has posed:
She-Hulk walks beside Chris, "Sounds good to me!" She grips her bags loosely for the same reason she didn't grab Chris's arm.
