Trouble in the Park II: Gorilla Boogaloo
Date of Scene: 04 August 2018
Location: Unknown
Synopsis: Summary needed
Cast of Characters: Kid, Cindy Larsen, Archangel, Storm, Souvenir

Kid has posed:
Well, the afternoon was certainly more...exciting than one would expect. Earlier that day Cindy had been surrounded by a group of anti-mutant teen thugs. But instead of fighting alone, another large and rather aggressive mutant had come to her aid to drive off the attackers. Revealing he had powers and that he didn't like cops - the teen (name still unknown) agreed to come with Cindy to recieve medical care at Xaviers for what is evidently stab and bullet wounds.

This was the basic story given to Xavier personel over the phone while Cindy and Kid made their way to Xavier's on foot, despite the apparent seriouness of the supposed injuries.

And with that Kid is walking alongside Cindy, still in his illusionary teen form onto the grounds of Xaviers. He himself seemed quite calm - if a bit mean looking. He glances around seeming perhaps nervous. It rare for him to stay in such nice areas. He signs to Cindy - his watch as before speaking in his stead "You sure this is good idea?"

Cindy Larsen has posed:
Cindy had made the call once they had started walking. She knew it was a little bit of a hike from the park in Salem over to the mansion, but she regularly walked it herself, so it wasn't that bad. The leopard-girl has her hood up, at least until she's officially on the school's grounds. Once she's inside the perimeter she takes the hood down again, no longer afraid to show her face around here.

Cindy looks at Kid when he starts signing to her. She doesn't understand sign language, but that watch of his made it easy to understand him. She lifts a hand to place gently on his un-injured bicep. "Yes, I'm sure. They have a good infirmary here, and they're good people." She pauses a moment, and then adds, "...You don't need to keep up the illusion here, by the way. I understand if it makes you more comfortable, but you should know, nobody is going to judge you for what you look like here." She manages a faint smile. "I mean, I look like -this-, and everyone has been really nice to me, so far. It -is- a school though, so... I guess, just try to be polite?"

Archangel has posed:
Warren is standing in the Wellness Centre talking with the duty nurse, Julie. He had come in right away when the call came from the school. In truth, he was not at all sad to leave the golf tournament he had been at. His group had been incredibly dull.

Still talking with Julie, he pulls his cellphone out of his pocket and checks it for the hundredth time that day. There were calls and messages, but not the ones he was looking for. His brow knits, and he stuffs his phone back into his pocket while he continues to wait for Cindy and her friend.

Storm has posed:
Nowadays, it is rare that Ororo doesn't find out about situations students, faculty, and now the X-Men are up to. If it isn't e-mails to answer, it is phone calls. Occasionally, the word of mouth slips from people as well and the Kenyan woman has to act accordingly.

Ororo is acting accordingly now. She is in the War Room with someone else when the call comes in. Their engaging conversation ends abruptly as it does, causing Ororo's expression to melt into a more serious one. A call goes to the nurse of the Wellness Center, readying the arrival of the mutant that Cindy is bringing to the mansion. There is hesitation at the thought, doubt in the decision wafting back and forth in her mind.

A buzz comes through the communicator designed as a brooch for her African toned blouse. "I'll be right down," Ororo replies, nodding to no one in particular. She makes her way through the metallic hallway, up the elevator, and starts walking again a short distance from the mansion's foyer. Ororo peaks into the Wellness Center as she passes by.

"They are walking up the driveway now," she announces, seeing both the nurse and Warren. "I could use your assistance, if you don't mind, Warren." Walking to the entrance of the mansion, she opens the door and steps out, blue eyes squinting to see the couple. Ororo rushes to them immediately.

Kid has posed:
Kid grunts and signs to Cindy "Less worried about how I look and more to do with what I do" he tells her. As they keep walking he than signs the watch beeping loud enough for Ororo to hear "And...I never been to a school, or even been home schooled. Self taught" he informs her, revealing a lack of any formal education.

Now MOST times when someone is rushing towards him - it normally an attack, a form of aggression, anger, or something else. But he felt...worry comming from the oncomming Kenyan. His natural instinct is to step back and bare his over sized canines as a warning. But sensing the worry....the facial gesture slow fades.

His animlistic eyes look over Ororo a long moment before he signs again - the actions of doing so having already made the bandages on his forarm a bit more red. "You...work here. You remove bullets?" he signs/asks bluntly. Formality in a strange place with strange people was not his forteh, especially when he is injured and therefor at a disadvanatge.

He glances in through a window, seeing the wellness office and Warren as well as other students just inside. His stomech growls and his closes his eyes in irritation before again looking to Ororo.

Cindy Larsen has posed:
Cindy gives a slow nod of her head, her tail flicking a little bit. "Well... I can't promise they'll approve of what you do," she says, "But you never told -me- that either, so... I think it's more likely everyone will worry about your health first, and we'll worry about what you do next." She does, as well, notice Ororo hurrying over to them. "Ms. Munroe, over here," she says, waving a hand over her head, as if she hadn't already got their attention. She looks to Kid again, when she notices the initial reaction. "This is Ms. Munroe, she's a teacher here." She smiles at him again, and pats him on the bicep. "Nobody here's gonna hurt you, if you don't cause any problems. This is a safe place for people who're different."

Cindy turns her attention back to Ororo as she draws closer. "He's been shot," she explains, after Kid's initial question, "And there's some cuts on his forearm, too, but I couldn't see them because of the illusion he uses to hide. He didn't want to go to the hospital, but he needs help, so... I brought him here. He helped me in the park, after all... I think I kind of owed it to him to help him, in turn." She glances at Kid with a brief smile, then back to Ororo. "He didn't tell me his name, he said he doesn't remember," she tells the teacher, as well, "I don't know what kind of powers he has, either, but... he can at least create illusions, and he's -really- strong. He doesn't talk, either. He uses sign language, and his watch translates for him." Cindy chews on her lower lip a little bit, glancing between Kid and Ororo. "Do you think you can help him, Ms. Munroe?"

Archangel has posed:
Warren comes down the front steps a bit behind Ororo. He is in time to catch Kid's blunt request and Cindy's explanation. He eyes Kid, picking up on some key parts of the story that cause him some concern.

Warren plays cover to Ororo's contact. One can never be too cautious when it comes to the unknown coming to the Mansion. He stays a few steps back and to the side of her. He smiles politely and nods to Cindy.

Storm has posed:
There is much more than worry in Ororo's expression, but worry would have been the primary emotion radiating off the woman. In fact, as she draws closer, the woman is slightly taken back at the sight of Kid's illusionary teen form barring his teeth. If the teenager had been in his gorilla form, she would have hesitated, but instead, she gives Kid support and helps him into the mansion.

"I am no doctor, but we have staff trained in this field," Ororo offers, feeling through the hard-light projection of the gorilla. As they make it inside, an older student takes Ororo's place and she motions for another. "Let's take him to the Wellness Center." There is a pause for thought as the small group makes their way through the halls.

"Are you hurt, Cindy?" Ororo asks.

Kid has posed:
Well if nothing else - Kid was definintly furry, least that what it would feel like. Kid normally wouldn't accept support...but he goes with the flow this time. Luckily this teenager some some extra strength so his heavy bulk wasn't an issue to help support.

That being said, he does sign some corrections "Never said I do not remember, just that I am unsure. They are not cuts, they are stab wounds. Got shot three times, once in shoulder, twice in back." he was exact and to the point.

Once in the wellness office though, he seemed...ever more uncomfortable. He HATES doctors. But none the less he lays down on a table. He knew he would have to drop his illusion - you cannot fix what you cannot see. So there was a startled cry when Kid DID drop his illusion - revealing he was infact a gorilla (cause let be honest, that would startle most folks). Not an ordinary gorilla judging by the fact he had greyish-green skin, and a mix of silver AND gold hairs on his back.

Cindy Larsen has posed:
Cindy gives a smile to Warren as well, but her attention quickly shifts back to Ororo when she's moving to help Kid. She bites her lip again, concerned that Kid might react badly to that kind of assistance. He's huge compared to her, too, so it's not like she could have helped him, either. Presuming there isn't any trouble with getting Kid inside, she follows along behind them, her tail flicking behind her. Naturally, the arrival of someone new to the school draws attention from the other students, but thankfully it's pretty easy for the teachers to get them to mind their own business. She shakes her head in answer to Ororo's question.

"No, I'm okay," she says, "One of the guys pull a knife on me, but..." She hesitates a moment, and then adds, "I bit him. Kind of hard, actually... I hope he's going to be alright. I didn't want to hurt him, I was just... scared." She knows Ororo and Warren will understand -that- feeling. It's a pretty common one for the students, after all. "If it hadn't been for him..." She nods toward Kid. "...I might not have made it back here at all. He probably saved my life." She blinks a bit at Kid, and nods. "Right, sorry. I misunderstood, I thought it was that you couldn't remember..." Just as that illusion drops, there's a gasp from Cindy. She blinks a few times, her tail giving a nervous twitch. "Well... I wasn't quite expecting -that-," she admits in a soft tone, but then she takes a deep breath and collects herself. She -did- tell him no one would judge him for what he looks like here, after all.

Cindy moves to stand beside the table where he's laying down, on the side opposite of his injuries. She gives him a friendly if slightly nervous smile. "So what can we call you, then?" she asks him, looking down at his face. Her own was pretty inhuman, after all. She wasn't about to shy away from him because of what his looked like.

Archangel has posed:
Warren smiles a bit when Kid explains his injuries. He checks his phone again and puts it back in his pocket. "Well, I'm sure it's not too bad if you're still on your feet. You should really be in a hospital, though. Have a seat on one of the beds."

"Nobody died from a bite," Warren assures Cindy as Kid gets onto one of the beds. "Even with your teeth," he jokes.

Julie gives Warren a pair of gloves. "Now, how did you get shot and...." his words trail off as the mutant in front of him suddenly becomes a gorilla. Warren and Julie share a look of surprise and then put their working faces back on.

Warren follows up Cindy's question with one of his own. "Are you one of the people from the gorilla cities? It's important that I know, so I know how to help you. My name is Warren, and I'm an advanced life support medic. My friend here is Julie, she's a nurse," he says confidently, with a smile. "Let's have a look at the wounds."

He looks over the bandages before disturbing anything, then carefully starts undressing and examining the wounds.

Kid has posed:
Kid let out a low growl - seem at least for now that the most vocalization he really does. He signs "I do not like hospitals. They have doctors. Doctors are bad."

Something might come to mind though. If Kid wasn't worried about how he looks, and he must have of course experinced peoples surprise when they do find out - which might beg the question of why he is more worried about what he does!

Kid signs "Got shot in Gotham dureinga Mason Steel concert at a charity at The Hugo Foundation building. Some stupid gang folks were trying to ruin it or some crap. That is also where I got stabbed."

The surprises going over him he continues to sign responding "There is more than one gorilla city?" he wonders. "Anyways, yes I was born to gorilla city gorillas...no clue if I ever actually BEEN in gorilla city when I was born" he looks to Cindy and signs "...only recently found out that my birth name may be Jua Mandla. Before than...i was not allowed to have a name, they just called me Kid. I sometimed called myself Malcolm" hence his uncertainty to what name he should actually use.

His eyes watched both Warren and julia with open distrust. Medics was just another word for doctors. None the less he stays calm, glad to be by Cindy. His stab wounds on the arm were shallow but many. And the bullets? The one in his shoulder was lodge just beneath the skin. The one on his upper back luckily stopped short of his shoulder blade, and the one in his lower back again with another stroke of luck had entered at an angle that lodge itself deeply, but otherwise would not cause major injury. Three potentially leather bullet in spots that were not leather is one hell of a luck streak.

Cindy Larsen has posed:
Cindy glances between Warren and Kid now and again, but mostly keeps her attention on the gorilla. She nods her head to him. "Alright... Well, what do -you- want me to call you?" she asks, "I think that's more important than anything else, right?" She smiles to him again, her tail giving an easy flick behind her. She can tell he's uneasy, and couldn't blame him for not liking doctors. "Nobody's gonna do anything bad to you here," she tells him, "They're just gonna get you patched up and make sure you're not any more seriously hurt than you look."

Cindy glances to Warren again, then back to Kid. She bites her lip a little, concerned for him. If Kid can sense emotions, that's certainly the one that's coming from her. "I was at that concert, too," she tells Warren, "With Andrea, but the two of us got out when the shooting started. I didn't see what happened after that."

Archangel has posed:
Warren is focused intently on examining Kid's injuries. Still, he nods as both Kid and Cindy speak. Warren gives Cindy a glance and encouraging nod as she talks to Kid.

"Julie, see if you can find a number for a consulate for the gorillas. We need a medication equivalence chart." Julie nods and is quickly on the phone.

"You're a lucky guy," Warren says to Kid. "You definitely need a few stitches here and there, and we need to make sure there aren't any bullet fragments in those wounds. We're going to find out what we can give you to help with the pain first," he explains. "I can use an ultrasound to find all the fragments, but I really do recommend a hospital. Will you let us take you to one?"

Kid has posed:
"I hid after I was shot and stabbed, can't tell you mush" he signs. Or mabey just won't. Who can say. "But least the music was good" he let out a very rough chuckle.

But thaan his head snaps towards Warren. "No. No medicine. No shots, no weird chemicals. I can take the pain just fine" his eyes pupils shrunk and he looked like he might just flip out there.

He takes a deep breath. And signs "Regardless it won't help. They got no records on me...and what...they did messed up my body. I am very very susceptible to medication" and possibly overdosing on accident no less.

Luckily though they gorilla consulate did indeed have a medication equivalence chart. Though they might inquire to why such infomation is being gathered.

Cindy Larsen has posed:
Cindy nods her head a little bit, with a bit of a frown. It was frustrating for her, a little bit, to not know how to better help him, herself. She's only a teenager, though, and doesn't have a lot of experience in this kind of situation! "Are you sure...?" she asks, when he says he doesn't want any medication for the pain, "I'm... sure they'll be very careful with how much they give you..." She glances to Warren again, concerned, but then back to Kid. He seems to know what he wants, at least, and he'd know a lot better than she would.

She considers for a moment, and then nods her head. "The music was pretty good, wasn't it," she agrees, "Mason's a student here at the school, too... and is dating my best friend. If you wanted to meet him, I could probably track him down after you're taken care of. And, y'know, when he's around. He's pretty busy, being a pop star and all." She grins a little, her tail swishing a bit. She's trying, at least, to distract Kid with conversation so Warren and Julia can get some work done.

Archangel has posed:
Julie explains patiently to the consular officer that she is not going to break confidentiality and that her client has not asked for consular assistance. After a few minutes she is able to convince the consulate to fax the chart to a nearby hospital. A quick phone call to a friend there gets a copy sent to her.

Warren nods to Kid and gives him a reassuring smile. "No hospitals, no chemicals," he reiterates. Julie brings the ultrasound over, along with a metal tray and some forceps.

"Sounds like the Hugo opening was a real disaster. Tell me about that again?" Warren asks Cindy.

"I am going to start. You'll feel some cold, that is just the ultrasound. Then it will hurt if I have to go in."

Unfortunately there are dark objects in the ultrasound, though thankfully the bullets are whole. Warren nods to Julie, who hands him the forceps and he goes to work. He is deft, and skilled, but without anesthetic it is painful when he reaches into a wound to retrieve a bullet.

Kid has posed:
Kid smiles at Cindy at the thought. But he doesn't sign back or anything this time. Instead his arms were position infront, hanging over the side of the bench, gripping the wood. He knew what was comming. He shivers feeling the cold.

He curls and uncurls his finger deciding it would be best to let Cindy explain since she was asked. He closes his eyes tight as he feels the forceps go in. He actually emits a wave of pain - not nearly as bad as the actual pain, but just enough for others to potentialy feel a pinch.

But that wave of pain also came with a memory other might experince for themselves. Of being forceably strapped down by what appears to be doctors. They give a strange injection that makes one feel funny - but does nothing to stop the pain as they seem to do an operation to fix his arm. The memory was not whole and fades as quickly as it came as Kid tries to bury the thoughts in his head.

Cindy Larsen has posed:
Cindy certainly feels that - she doesn't have any particular defenses against telepathy or anything of that sort, so when that wave of pain flashes through the room, she physically winces. "Nnh... Oooh, ow... What was that?" she asks, looking to Warren, and then back to Kid. Her tail gives a nervous twitch. She frowns a little, and moves a hand down to rest on top of Kid's, the one on his currently good side. She doesn't take hold of it, knowing that he's a -lot- stronger than she is durable, and neither one of them probably wants her to have broken fingers. "It's alright," she says, "He's almost got that one." She glances back to Warren again.

"Like I said, I didn't see much... I was up front, near the stage, with Andrea. We were there to see Mason's concert, and have some fun at the carnival. She left to get some drinks, then I heard gunshots. People started panicking, Mason started helping people up onto the stage... I was worried about Andrea, so I went to find her, and she and I got out of there... That's really all I remember about it. I didn't get a good look at any of the people who were doing the shooting..."

Archangel has posed:
Warren's wings twitch and his body tenses at the pain. Instinctively he freezes in place as the pain and memory wash over him, training taking over and keeping him from jerking his hand while the forceps were still in the wound. Then he finishes a slow, smooth withdrawal. The bullet clanks when it falls into the tray.r
He blinks and puts a reassuring smile on his face for Julie and Cindy. <Jean or Besty?> he mouths to Julie. Julie shakes her head.

"You're doing great," he says to Kid and moves on to work on his other two bullet wounds.

Kid has posed:
Kid feels Cindy hand on his own. It was odd to be surrounded by folks who care....only the second time he has felt like this. His free hand gestures, the finger taking odd forms in his own sign language "Sorry...that was me" he let Cindy know, unaware Warren was wondering as well.
Though when the wings twitch, Kid takes notice. He blinks and hmmms a long moment. He signs "...you have wings." as if it wasn't the most obviouse thing. Perhaps being so engrossed in things, he didn't notice. "Never seen a person with wings"

Souvenir has posed:
Erika Kristasdottir comes skidding around the corner at the surge. "The heck the heck? What's-who's doing the brainifying? Is everything okay? Hi Cindy, Hi Kid, sorry, I forget you go robot too." She blows her hair up a bit. "Sorry, that's confusing, I'm sure I'll get that sorted."

She looks around in some concern. "Seriously, are you okay? Do you need anything? More hands or anything? Or like.." She frowns, "I don't know, something." She looks around awkwardly with black lined eyes and frowns a bit.

Cindy Larsen has posed:
Cindy gives a slow nod of her head in understanding when Kid explains. "Oooh... You're a telepath," she says, smiling reassuringly, "Alright. It's okay. It must be hard to control when you're in pain. We understand." She pats his hand gently. She giggles softly at his reaction to Warren's wings. "There are a lot of different people here," she says, "Mr. Worthington has wings, I have fur. Mr. McCoy has -blue- fur." She grins again, and Erika comes skidding around the corner. She blinks, looking across the room at the other girl. "Wait, you two have met?" she asks, a little surprised, "Huh... Small world." Her tail gives another twitch, but she doesn't move from where she's standing next to Kid, who's on his side on the table while Warren digs bullets out of his back. "He got shot at the concert," Cindy explains to Erika. She doesn't call him "Kid" because he neglected, earlier, to tell him which he'd prefer himself. "He's gonna be fine, but the bullets are still in there, so Mr. Worthington is getting them out... He didn't want to go to a hospital, so I brought him here..." She pauses, and looks down at Kid. "Is there anything Erika can get for you?" she asks him.

Archangel has posed:
Warren chuckles at Kid's reaction. "It's not a common mutation," he agrees.

He glances over at Erika when she comes careening around the corner into the Wellness Center. "Everything is fine," he adds in after Cindy speaks. "What you could do for me is go over to that closet over there and bring me the tubs labelled gauze and bandages, and two of the bottles of liquid bandage."

Warren glances at the ultrasound Julie has scanned in over the second bullet hole. "Number two," he says to Kid and then goes in with the forceps, braced this time for any backlash. He draws the bullet out and lets it clatter into the metal tray. "And three." Warren draws out the last bullet and winks at Julie.

"I want to use some liquid bandage to seal these wounds once I clean them. It is a special kind of glue. It's a chemical, but it means I don't have to stitch you, so it will be a lot less painful. Alright?"

Kid has posed:
Kid nods to Warren explanation. he was the nicest doctor he has met. Didn't seem so bad. And after bracing himself better, there was no backlash...this time at least.

Kid signs the explanation "Yea, Erika and me met when some idiotes tried to eat us. She killed one with a pencil. Tyler was with...ooooh, is tyler here as well?" a person he has come to call a friend. "Nice to see your alive Erika - and what the hell is going robot?" he asks unsure what that means.

"But yea...I am a...telepath..among other things." he grunts continue to sign as his watch speaks "And...thanks Worthington, Julia....your not so bad for doctors" he looks to Cindy and also nods his thanks, though it was more quiet considering he had thanked her earlier. Notably, he still doesn't bother specifing a name. Perhaps considering which he prefers. None the less, he doesn't request anything from Erika as Warren puts her to work.

Souvenir has posed:
Erika Kristasdottir nods vigorously. "Roger roger!" She steps over to the closet and looks over the tubs, then pulls the ones requested, putting the bottles in the tubs, and brings them over, holding them out in a pair of gloved hands and setting them on the table next to Warren.

She hmms, "I'm sure he's around here somewhere.. Uh. Glitch with stuff. Telepaths get 'it' pronouns accidentally for reasons that probably make total sense but it's mostly just a glitch that's stupid. Anyways. Yeah!"

Cindy Larsen has posed:
Cindy watches Erika rush over to get the bins of gauze and bandages, then looks back to Kid. She smiles at him again. "See, nothin' to worry about," Cindy tells the gorilla, "Gonna be good as new in a couple days, I bet." She doesn't comment on Erika having killed someone. She almost bit someone's arm off earlier that day, after all - there was probably still blood on her hoodie, in fact. It kind of blended in with the color of the tie-die swirls, so it would be hard to notice. "If you want I can see if he's around, let him know you're here... I'm sure word will spread pretty fast, actually." She glances at Erika with a small grin on her muzzle. "Erika sure found out quick, anyway," she says. It -is- a school, after all. It's entirely possible that everyone knows about it already.

Archangel has posed:
Warren frowns just slightly when he hears about Erika killing someone. He had read the note to staff.

"Don't mention it, we're glad to help," Warren says when Kid thanks him. He looks over when Erika brings the bins and the glue. "Thank you," he says to Erika, giving her a short, considering look. Then Warren and Julie set about cleaning Kid's wounds. They work together quietly, methodically cleaning, sealing and bandaging each wound securely. It is not that long before they finish.

"You will need to take it pretty easy. You'll know you're pushing too hard if any of those wounds start bleeding. If they start seeping or smell funny, you need to go to a hospital immediately. You can't ignore infections."

Warren pitches his gloves into the yellow bin marked with biohazard symbols. He feels his phone buzz and checks it. He fires off a text message and pockets the device again.

"Are you going to be okay?" he asks Cindy. "You should have a talk about what happened with those thugs with one of the staff in the morning."

Kid has posed:
Kid sits up sloooowly. Him? Take it easy? He let out a frustrated groan. But between everyone he has met here...mabey they can help him another way. But how to approach this? Kid signs slowly this time as if being -very- careful in his word choice "Well...that might be a bit....difficult. Not without some" his head bobs back and forth "....volountary help." NOW he looked nervous. He glances about as he signs "or perement help if that was possible. Doubtful though." he considers what he has seen "....do schools take gorillas?" he signs in wonder. He reaches up feeling his arm. Felt better, that was for sure, and his fur should help keep it relatively glean.
He looks to Erika and signs "...i do not know many telepaths...so this 'glitch' is new to me"

Souvenir has posed:
Erika Kristasdottir shrugs. "Well, like.. I KNOW him, and well.. you know when you are on your phone and suddenly you get one bar of wifi and it blips in on you? Except I wasn't sure whose it was until I got here."

She sighs. "And you know, I was doing pretty good at not thinking about the vampire today. I still get nightmares about them turning into a cloud of ashes. It's bad enough I cried half the way home in Colossus's truck that night once I dropped the link with Laura's sock. Now I don't even have any fighty souvenirs left, so I am afraid to leave campus."

She ohs, "I'm used to my psychic links being with inanimate objects. If I find a person there, it kind of confuses me."

Cindy Larsen has posed:
Cindy looks over to Warren with a nod of her head. "Yeah... It's not the -first- time I've had to bite somebody because they didn't like the way I look now... I'm not starting to like it or anything, but... I can deal with that it happened." She gives him a small smile. "I'll talk to one of the counselors in the morning, though. This has, at least, given me some kind of idea of what I can do with my life to be useful." She moves a little to give Kid some room, and to help him sit up so he doesn't put a lot of strain on his freshly bandaged wounds. She listens to what he signs, and then glances from him to Warren, then to Erika, and Julia, then back to Warren. "...Maybe he should talk to Ms. Grey," she suggests. There's a small frown when Erika mentions crying all the way home. Cindy's tail gives a little twitch, and she considers the other girl in silence for a moment.

Archangel has posed:
Warren gives Erika an empathetic look, but his attention quickly returns to Kid. He considers him while Cindy speaks.

"You can stay the night here," he says to Kid with a smile that does not wuote reach his eyes. The school's protection was foremost in his mind. "And in the morning you can talk with one of the other senior staff about whether we can help you. I think Ms. Grey or Professor X would great choices, they may be just the right people for you. While you're here though, remember you are a guest and keep your abilities to yourself," he cautions, firmly but not pointedly.

Warren looks to Cindy next. "Counselors or advisors, even me," he says with a broader smile. "As long as someone is walking with you when these things happen."

Warren checks his phone again. "I have to go, but you're in good hands," Warren says to Kid. "If you're still here, I'll check in on you when I get back." With a nod to Erika and Cindy, and a wink to Julie, Warren makes his way out of the Wellness Center.

Kid has posed:
Kid is quiet and nods slowly as Warren leaves. He signs a "Thanks' he wasn't sure he could say much more than that. Fello danaged him up, is willing to let him to stay, it was almost like he was an angel. He suddenly wondered if he knew Lucifer - now THAT dude was a trip.

However Kid didn't seem anymore at ease, if anything Warren words seemed to have the opposite effect for whatever reason. He looks to Erika and signs "Just hope you never get used to it." There was something rather ominiouse about those words.

Looking between Erika, Cindy and Julia, his lip twitches a moment, but simply signs "Well, guess I will try and talk to this X or Grey fella."
