Synopsis: Professor Zoom visits the Purple Dragons as he tries to find connections to the Foot Clan.
Cast of Characters: Shredder, Professor Zoom

Shredder has posed:
Late evening at one of the Purple Dragon hang locations. The sun is setting, the It's a Antonio's Bar. It's generally known that if you aren't one of the Dragons, you don't go there after 7pm. If you aren't from the neighborhood, they remind you. There's five of them now, rough looking characters, sitting around in the mostly empty bar.
"Where's Hun, anyway?" one of them says.
"Dunno, he was gonna show up here sometime tonight, said he had stuff to tell us."
"Well, I ain't waitin' around all evening, my girl wants me to take her out."

The bartender, Mr. Bridge, wipes down the counter, "You know Hun'll beat the crap out of you if you aren't here," he reminds them. "So I'd stay put. Plus, I don't want him flyin' in a rage and breakin' my tables again."

Professor Zoom has posed:
To their perspective, there was no one there a second ago. Then, a gust of wind blows over delicates near the entryway, and red lightning damages the door. In the frame is a blurry man in a yellow suit an instant later. The red, glowing eyes stare at the group for a moment as Professor Zoom just sits there, red Speed Force energy arcing and sparking over his form as he watches them.

No words are spoken yet. He just sits there, looking like a man struck with red lightning.

Shredder has posed:
The group suddenly stops, the five looking up in surprise as they stare at the sudden arrivale of Zoom. They glance at each other, then glance again at Zoom.
"Is that the Flash?" one of them asks the others.
"I dunno," the other says. "Looks pretty mean."
Bridge, frozen in mid motion with a towel on the countertop, says carefully. "Hey, we got a clean place here, I don't want no trouble in my bar," he says. He isn't cowardly in his demeanor, but there is a strong sense of apprehension.

"Lookin' for a drink?" another one of the gang members asks, eying the red-eyed speedster suspiciously.

Professor Zoom has posed:
"I'm not like the Flash at all. Some would say I'm the reverse." Professor Zoom responds in a distorted, monotone voice.

A moment later, and red lightning trails behind Zoom as he runs over to and stops in front of the most isolated gang member. Already, he's got the man in the air by his throat with his right hand, his face turned to the others. "You can call me Professor Zoom." He looks at the others, rather then the man he's holding up, "the first person to tell me where I can find the Foot clan... gets to live."

The red lightning arcing over his form comes faster now... his Speed Force aura enveloping the man in his grip in case he needs to superspeed with him.

Shredder has posed:
The other four burst to their feet as Zoom picks up their friend, who dangles in the air, gripping Zoom's offending hand, reaching to pry at the thumb to free himself.
"Hey! You come here to start a fight?" one of them accuses. "Oh, you got it buddy," The four attack as one, a dogpile of thugs throwing themselves from the sides and over the table.

Professor Zoom has posed:
Professor Zoom, despite his size, is beyond peak physical condition. The street thug would have better luck bending steel if he were so inclined. When the other four come at him though, the man in his grip is tossed at the four... before the man in the yellow suit starts to spin in place. Faster. A small localized tornado forms centered on him... the wind speeds more than enough to push everyone and everything back for a good ten feet.

He's going to keep it up until he sees them backing off.

Shredder has posed:
"Hey, I said I don't want no trouble in my bar!" Mr. Bridge complains, pointing a dark finger at Zoom. "You guys take that outside if you wanna get in a fight. Lenny, I told Arnie you guys made a mess last time, I wouldn't want you back in here, I don't care if this /is/ your turf."

Two of the men catch their flying comrade, whether they want to or not, toppling to the hardwood floor. The other two stumble back from the wind as every scrap of paper and breadcrumb flies up, spinning around the room. They cover their faces, and are forced to back up.

Professor Zoom has posed:
Just as quickly as it appeared, the local tornado fades as Professor Zoom stops in place, before he superspeeds in front of the two who caught their friend, "I came here for information. I can kill you all in the blink of an eye if I came here for a fight." He leans forward, the blurring even this close giving nothing away of the man beneath. "Do you want to die?"

Professor Zoom left hand suddenly goes *right through his chest*. He's not dead yet... but he can definitely feel the arm phase right through his chest, "tell me where the Foot clan is, and I won't explode your heart." He is in fact vibrating his arm to pass through, not to disrupt. Yet.

Shredder has posed:
The two on their feet leap back in shock. "Oh shit," one of them exclaims. "What is all this? The Foot? We don't know nothin' bout that Foot! Hun makes all the deals, he doesn't tell us nothin' but where we need to be."
As for the man who has an arm through his chest, he starts to panic, heart beating hard, as it might be his last. "No no!" he exclaims. "They got some warehouse on the East Side, I dunno where it is, usually a bunch of kids there. We always move stuff over by the docks, Foot meets us there, we just drop off the goods!" He seems to either have more information than his friend, or is more properly motivated.

Professor Zoom has posed:
"Give me a time and a place." The man in yellow presses, "either for the warehouse deals, or where Hun is." His eyes narrow... the red energy emitting from them diminishing just slightly as he does, "my arm is getting tired." Professor Zoom mocks.

Shredder has posed:
As if on cue, a monster of a man steps through the doors. "He's right here," comes the deep voice. A T-shirt stretched across a massively built chest flexes, the 6'10" giant stepping through to door. Blonde hair is slicked back sloppily, his square jaw set. "So what's a spandex warrior want with me, huh?" he asks, casually cracking his knuckles.

Professor Zoom has posed:
There's a look in Huns direction briefly, those glowing eyes taking in the newcomer briefly. Hun has about two seconds to crack his knuckles before Professor Zoom pulls his arm out of the man in front of him... and superspeeds right over to Hun, picking him up within the blink of an eye, leaving a red lightning trail through the bar in his wake as he envelops Hun in his Speed Force aura... and proceeds to superspeed his way around Manhatten at Mach 10. Over. And Over. And Over. He runs fast enough to disorient, confuse, and easily make the man dizzy even with the protection the aura offers.

After about a minute of this, Professor Zoom starts to run up one of the World Trade Center buildings, stopping on the roof... and dropping Hun just near the edge of it, the red lightning trail fading as it begins to simply arc over his body again. "My name is Professor Zoom." The man in yellow states, almost casually. "If you tell me what I want to know, I might not send you off this rooftop. Hold anything back, and there won't be enough of you for anyone to identity you by the time I'm finished." He smiles under the blurring, "just nod if you understand."

Shredder has posed:
Hun growls, looking over the edge. He seems to have weathered the intense speed much better than most people would, though he's clearly a little dizzy. "You ain't the scariest guy I've met," he answers. "You got brass, I'll give you that, but you ain't said nothin' yet." He looks back up at Zoom. "So what's such the big deal you wanna show off instead of just ask, huh?" He's not aggressive, given his sudden new position, but he's hardly the pushover of his lackeys.

Professor Zoom has posed:
"That was me showing you you don't want to screw with me, not showing off." Professor Zoom states as he stares at the man, "You'd be in Los Angeles if I wanted to show off." Then, he steps to walk the few steps over to the man, "I'm looking for information on the Foot clan, and I'm told you're the one who deals with them the most. I want to know everything you can tell me about them. Now."

Shredder has posed:
"The Foot?" Hun chuckles. "You're askin' for trouble if you mess with them," he says. "The Shredder doesn't take lightly to uninvited guests, I'll tell you that. What you want with the Foot?" He gets back to his feet, glancing around the city. "Always wondered what it looked like from up here. Saw the sight from the old ones." He lets out a grunt of satisfaction, as if the side conversation was just as important as the questions.

Professor Zoom has posed:
When Hun grunts, suddenly he can hear the sound of wind moving at incredible speed as Professor Zoom brings up an arm and creates a vortex to send Hun flying dozens of feet away from the rooftop. He immediately starts to drop to the ground.

By the time he's about to splat, Professor Zoom created another vortex below him to slow him down just enough to be grabbed... before he zooms his way right back up to the rooftop, right where he was.

"The next time won't be a warning." Professor Zoom states, his tone taking on some impatience.

Shredder has posed:
Hun is white as a sheet by the time he arrives back at the top of the tower. "What the hell?" he gasps, eyes wide. "Fine then, what do you want already?" he asks. "Shredder ain't gotta tell me nothin', that kid Karai don't either. We pick up the stuff they want off the locals, give it to them at the docks. Some of my crew thought they'd upgrade and become full ninjas, but they don't talk to me about it, and I don't ask." Hun backs away a little from the edge, and takes hold of one of the steel antennas. His grip is tight enough that there might be noticed a little bit of an indention in the steel as he clings to it as to not be easily knocked off the roof once again, and he looks back at the Rooftop bar, as if trying to determine how he might make it there without releasing his security.

Professor Zoom has posed:
"I want a time and a place for these meetings, and you'll never see me again." Professor Zoom replies as he watches the man grab onto the antenna. The action actually gets a distorted chuckle out of the Speedster as he watches.

Shredder has posed:
Hun shakes his head. "Yeah, I got a feelin' I'd see you again, Shredder don't like needin' explanations for why things didn't go right. You hero types think you always gonna find a way to end on top. Shredder always /is/ on top. He ain't gonna be scared of you."

Professor Zoom has posed:
There's a moment of silence as Hun finishes. Then, a distorted, almost manic laugh comes from the Speedster as he throws his head back in amusement. A few seconds of laughter, and he zooms right up to the mans face in a flash of red lightning, mere inches away from him now, "You think I'm some sort of hero. You're funny." He can see the sadistic smile behind the blurred visage as Professor Zoom watches him, "I'm the fastest man alive. Shredder will learn fear. A time and a place. Now"

Shredder has posed:
Hun is quiet for a second, then a smug grin passes his face. "Okay, 'fastest man alive'," he says. "I ain't got room to argue," he says. "We meet'em Thursday at 1:00am." His smile is mean. "Shredder won't be there, probably best for you, but his ninja freaks will be. Don't say I didn't warn ya."

Professor Zoom has posed:
"Because you answered my question, I won't throw you off the rooftop." Professor Zoom continues to smile, "instead, you get to take a tour of your fine country."

Instantly, red lightning trails behind Professor Zoom as he starts to run around Hun. Instead of trying to pry the man from the antenna, he's going to lift Hun from it. Several tons of force are placed on the man as Zoom creates the vortex around him, until eventually he's up in the air. It only takes an instant for him to grab Hun, and he starts to run down the building, and westward.

Mach 15, 17, 19. Whole cities go by as Professor Zoom continues to accelerate. Going from the East Coast... to the West Coast. Hun gets a glimpse of the farm belts of the midwest as he passes the middle of the country at the twenty second mark.

About forty seconds in, and Professor Zoom stops at the edge of a dock in Los Angeles... using the tremendous kinetic energy built from going at Mach 22 to unceremoniously toss him right into the pacific ocean. "Have fun getting back." The man in yellow states lightly, "I hate the people from this era. Put on some muscles and they think they can do anything. Primitives." Professor Zoom mutters as he starts to head back to Manhatten.

Shredder has posed:
Hun punched for the whole forty seconds, slamming his fists against Zoom until he skidded across the water into the ocean. He bursts back up, spewing curses at Zoom. He throws his fist up angrily until it's clear that it's moot. Time for him to start swimming.
