Cast of Characters: Poison Ivy, Wonder Woman

Poison Ivy has posed:
Pamela Isley hmmms happily as she wakes up with the morning sun. She walks the perimeter of the city block she is squatting on, lined with tight-growing trees wrapped in nettles. She checks on her pet cactus who is in a place of honor overlooking the gate to her domain - one of the cacti she deployed to great effect in the invasion of the Gray. Then she goes into her little shack and prepares a breakfast of bacon and eggs. She sits crosslegged on the lawn in the sun, wondering what will happen today. She looks out the gate, through the thorny vines stretched across it, at traffic as Gotham's morning commute. She does wonder how many people gaze upon her fortified garden and worry. But her only goal for today is to prepare a new perfume to start selling.

Wonder Woman has posed:
Diana hadn't been involved in the inclusion of Ivy with all of the mushroom activity. She'd known nothing of it until she'd seen the notorious 'villain' in a combat situation against the invading mould. Now, weeks later, she was finally getting an opportunity to investigate it a bit, or at least look into it all. So here she is, arriving at the known location--the garden-- that Ivy notoriously occupies.

Dressed in a dark blue robe over her shining armor, Diana descends and comes to approach the front entrance. She's not trying to make a dramatic entrance or barge in or anything of that sort, no, she just approaches and signals her arrival... however that is achieved.

Poison Ivy has posed:
Pamela Isley hears the doorbell she had attached to the gate. She looks through the gate, eyebrow raised. With a wave, the vines pull free, opening the gate. "Wonder Woman," she muses softly. "I am honored that you would come visit me." She finishes her breakfast and stands, gesturing. "Come in, come in." She goes to stand by the six-foot-tall cactus. She doesn't assume any ill intent - for one, with a robe over your armor, you don't really look in the 'warrior' mood.

Wonder Woman has posed:
Diana stares through the gate and the vines toward the other and when they peal apart and give her access she steps on inside, her robe flowing gently around her form showing bits of the armor she wears beneath it behind the hem folds in the front. "Thank you for permitting me into your home." She says in her thickly accented English, Greek origins on the flavor of each word.

Diana's blue eyes scan about their immediate area, she herself is over six feet tall when wearing her armored boots, and exactly six foot when not wearing them. "A very lovely home you have here." She tells the other, looking to her and showing a quick smile.

Poison Ivy has posed:
Pamela Isley smiles. "And having one of the preeminent heroes of the realm in my humble abode is fascinating. But I assume you're here on business, not pleasure." She heads into the greenhouse-slash-lab she has set up. "I'm working on a new perfume. It will smell like the freshest roses. And I'm going to be selling it." She shows you the various rosebushes set up ands a few pieces of equipment necessary. "Finally putting my college educatoin to wrok I guess."

Wonder Woman has posed:
Diana follows along after the other as she stares to lead on ahead. She allows her eyes to roam over the plants and other sundries around her, though they specifically fall upon that of the roses which get a lingering stare and a light nod of her head. "That sounds like a lovely scent to find a market for." She replies. "I will have to look into it once you have it out there amongst the 'wild' so to speak." She looks to the other and shows a soft smile. "And I am here to offer you thanks for your efforts in the recent... issues, that our world faced as a whole together. You were a major part in resolving that... and really, it is appreciate. You are known for not really having the greatest 'favor' toward the safety of others... but, you surprised a lot of us." She pauses before adding. "In a good way."

Poison Ivy has posed:
Pamela Isley smiles faintly. "The Green and the Gray have always had an uneasy truce - until recently, there was an alliance of sorts. Then the Gray attacked, all over the world. There is devastation among flora all over the world from those attackers." She sighs softly. "From what I hear, the soil that the Gray coopted is actually better off for their presence but there was a lot of deforestation all over. It was my duty to defend the Green against its advance. At least this time, my goals - and that of humanity - were at one." Her smile changed slightly to a predatory smirk. "I cannot promise such accord will continue indefinitely."

Wonder Woman has posed:
Diana stops moving as Ivy begins to speak her side of it all and the Amazon lowers her chin just a little while she stares at the woman with a long gze throughout her words. She hears and she responds with a gentle nod, a sign of understanding for what she'd just been told. "I do... 'get it', Miss Isley." She replies at first. "I have done a reasonable amount of research on you and your motivations and I really do understand them, at least as much as I can from my perspective. I too care about the preservation of the natural world and the desire to keep back the destruction that industrialization can bring to the natural beauty." Diana shows a small smile then. "I grew up on a very beautiful island, you know. If anything were to harm its natural wonders, I would be... very upset."

Poison Ivy has posed:
Pamela Isley nods. "I would love to see it someday. The odds of that happening are close to nil." She ponders. "So if I was to... stop... someone that is going to raze a forest for a skyscraper, what side would you be on? With me - or against me? Let's say that I was doing my best not to injure the construction workers." She is gazing intently at you.

Wonder Woman has posed:
Diana's lips then move into something more of a smirk then a smile. "That... is where it gets complicated." Diana says to the other with a soft exhale. She takes a step to the side and reaches out to put her fingertips close to a rose petal, but she doesn't touch it, just gets them near to it. "You and I differ on the ethics of how to deal with the individuals wishing to build that tower." She says back to Ivy as she looks back in her direction. "I believe that humanity is just as much to be protected as the plantlife is. It, also being of this world. Yes, humans do make far more mistake than that of the natural flow of flora... but, people need to be cared for in very similar ways. There is much beauty in what man and woman have created on this world, alongside that of nature."

Poison Ivy has posed:
Pamela Isley ponders, admiring that you aren't going to touch the delicate flower. "That is where we differ. Consider this: on one side of the street someone is trying to kill a child - on the other side, someone is cutting down a healthy tree." She looks you over then back to her rose bushes. "Most would go to save the child. I, probably alone, would go the other way and save the tree, even at the expense of the child." She smiles faintly. "The cries of a child pierce the hearts of humans. Though silent to most - the cries of the plants through the Green are very audible to me. By the way, the rosebush appreciates your constraint. The flowers are so delicate..."

Wonder Woman has posed:
Diana lingers her fingers for a moment longer while staring at the flower, but then just lowers her hand back to her side. "I would never wish to make them uncomfortable or displeased." She says then as she turns back to fully face Ivy. "And you are right, I would go to save the child over the tree. I have a weakness for the well being of children." She shows a faint smirk, but it vanishes quickly as she glances down and then back up again. "I admire your desire to save the tree though, but are you not also interested in saving a child if the tree is not in danger? You are... a member of this planet's human species, are you not?" That is something she doesn't know, she didn't have intel on it, but... looking ivy over one would likely assume she is.

Poison Ivy has posed:
Pamela Isley ponders. "I was born human. Then I ascended, to become so much more, to becoming an avatar of the Green." She then ponders. "Perhaps I would save the child if my attention wasn't elsewhere. I don't honestly know." She ponders. "I have a small amount of the rose perfume if you'd like to sample it - I think it's ready but could use a second opinion on the scent profile." She picks up a small perfume vial that has a 'squirt' thing on it that some perfume bottles use. But she hesitates - she has been known to use chemical-laced scents in the past and is going to wonder if you'd think it's a trap.

Wonder Woman has posed:
Diana nods her head softly to the other woman before she replies to the last bit. "I would be happy to." She says, because she has never met a chenical she can't walk right into and be completely imune against. So she approaches and extends her hand with her palm up, her wrist is obviously covered which is the most common place for perfume testing to be applied, but she offers the palm of her hand all the same. "You do still have loyalties to humanity though, if you were born as such." She continues then, her eyes on Ivy's own. "This is your homeworld as well, after all, and we deal with foreign invaders wishing to demolish it... far, far too often."

Poison Ivy has posed:
Pamela Isley nods as she spritzhes your wrist wtih the perfume. "Perhaps. But those loyalties were subsumed by the Green." The perfume would smell just like a fresh rose's scent. "How is the perfume? Sometimes it's hard for me to tell what would smell good - or bad - to a normal person. I'm not even sure how human my seness are anymore. Most superheroes have enhanced senses. I'm wondering if you cna smell anything but roses."

Wonder Woman has posed:
Diana raises her hand back toward her chin after it was lightly spritzed and with a small smile after she gives it another little sniff as well. "It is lovely." She says in a pleased voice. "I like it. You will have to put me down as one of your first propsective customers." Which is very true, Diana was a fan of natural scents for perfumes. "That being said, I do not know if I am the best representation of what an average citizen would smell. But as soon as you are able to send me a sample bottle, I can pass it around the Embassy where I work and let the assistants under my employ try it and offer you a wider range of feedback, if you would like?" It would seem that Wonder Woman is being giving today to the supposed eco-terrorist. Perhaps she does sympathize with Ivy in some ways.

Poison Ivy has posed:
Pamela Isley nods. "Very well. I will send you one when it's ready. This is just a sample. Mass-producing it will tkae some time. It won't be cheap, but with the endorsement of everyone's favorite Amazon... I'll send you a cut maybe." She hmmmmms softly. "I wonder. What do you think of me? My work, my history, etcera?"

Wonder Woman has posed:
Diana shows a quick grin to these words. "I am not in need of a cut of the profits. Do me a favor and see to it that they go to a charity that you believe in, that helps suppor the preservation of natural lands and parks. Something of that... nature." Her grin blossoms a bit before the last question Ivy asks has it fade back down.

"I... admire some of it. I really do." Diana replies to her. "I just hope that any ill-will toward mankind for what it does to the natural world, wouldn't lead you to rush to harm anyone. It is... an old saying, that two wrongs do not make a right. And that is something I strongly believe in."

Poison Ivy has posed:
Pamela Isley nods. "Consider it done. I dill donate a sizable percentage to charity. It would increase my goodwill." She ponders softly. "Humanity has much to answer for. But violence only begets stubbornness and resistance. More subtle techniques are necessary."

Wonder Woman has posed:
A soft nod is showing then from the Princess. "I know that sometimes confrontations can be frustrating and lead one to feel that there are few other options, but there always are more options if we look deeper and keep ourselves clear of mind." But, she stops herself for now and simply adds a light soft nod. "But again, you came to the people's aid with the invasion last month, or rather... the aid of Earth itself. And for that, you have earned a deal of respect." Diana's eyes then glance to the sample bottle. "That perfume will likely help as well, in that regard."

Poison Ivy has posed:
Pamela Isley nods. "Yes. Maybe this is my tactic for the future. Education and a popular website, funded by my various perfumes." She ponders. "Maybe I can even create something for the police - one spritz and a suspect would just go 'duhhh' for a while to stop violent confrontation..."

Wonder Woman has posed:
Diana laughs softly at this last part and she tilts her head and lofts her dark brows up at it. "That is possible. One never knows. They do carry pepper spray after all, perhaps they would be willing to increase their arsenal of non-lethal weaponry. You may have a veritable gold mine on your hands with the skills and knowledge that you have acquired through all of your studies, Doctor... Isley, is it not? I believe I refered to you as Miss earlier and I apologize for that, that was rude of me."

Poison Ivy has posed:
Pamela Isley nods. "I am used to it. Few think of the infamous ecoterrorist as a college graduate. No offense is meant." She smiles. "When it is ready, I will send you a sample bottle that you can share as you please. Word-of-mouth will be important when making a small business like I'm doing." She ponders. "It was a pleasure meeting with you. Feel free to come by anytime." With that, she will escort you to the gate.

Wonder Woman has posed:
Diana dips her chin in another nod to the other. "You have accomplished a lot to be proud of, I admire that." She tells her, even Diana doesn't technically have a college education, let alone the title of Doctor of <Anything>. Of course, she grew up with a different sort of education system...

The Princess turns to make back toward the exit the way she'd come. "I look forward to the scent. And once more, thank you for the part you played in all of the recent events. Should something come up that you need aid with, simply seek me out and let me know what it is." And with that, the Amazon gives another soft nod and makes for the exit of Ivy's garden, giving another glance about it, appraising the plantlife one last time before leaving.
