The Jade Giants Judgement
Date of Scene: 27 August 2018
Location: New York City
Synopsis: Bruce is forcibly transformed into the Hulk when the Ghost Rider considers him a target. New York harbor hosts a brawl of the Hulk versus a few combatants, before the Hulk heads out west to get away from pursuit. It'll take a few weeks to fix it all. Poor Bruce.
Cast of Characters: Hulk, Ghost Rider (Blaze), Kid, Sabretooth, Doctor Strange, She-Hulk, Squirrel Girl, Superman

Hulk has posed:
The Hulk sighting along the Manhatten street was brief, but memorable. Half the street was trashed and cratered and there was a couple injuries. There was also a couple deaths nearby by blunt trauma. Did The Hulk kill them? He's certainly killed in the past, but he's an Avenger now.

The trail was pretty easy to follow; just keep up with the cratered rooftops from where the Hulk jumped to get away. It eventually leads to an alleyway in a group of warehouses... one of which has it's lights on from the outside.

Inside, Doctor Bruce Banner isn't making any attempt to hide as he shrugs on a lab coat and gets to work on a notebook computer and some lab equipment, apparently busy with something.

Ghost Rider (Blaze) has posed:
Just because you're an Avenger, it doesn't let you off the hook.

At least not to Johnny Blaze.

As soon as Blaze saw on the news what had happened, he immediately mounted his heavily modded motorcycle and made his way to stop the green monster's rampage...only to arrive too late. He slowly drives through hte carnage...seeing the dead bodies that were able to be recovered with cloth placed over them. The Street was trashed and all that remained were those hulking footprints...which he looked to the roof as he followed the trail.

After following the trail of chaos, Johnny eventually arrived at the warehouses. THe one where he figured his target was is pretttyyy easy to figure out.

Johnny walks up to the door and ignites his hand with Hellfire, burning straight through it like it was paper.

That's one way to make an entrance.

Hulk has posed:
"Who's the-" Instead of knocking though, Johnny opts to burn the whole thing down, and Bruce squints slightly in concern as he watches, turning towards him. "That's... new." Maybe it's just someone who likes a dramatic entrance, not someone trying to capture him? "Uh... hello?" Bruce asks, concern coloring his tone as he places his hands in his pockets.

Ghost Rider (Blaze) has posed:
Heh...one can hope right?

Wrong.

Johnny's eyes are like wildfire, though he doesn't transform into the Ghost Rider quite yet. "Hi." Johnny greets, though instead of being peaceable, he moves to try to shove Bruce onto the desk. "Big. Green. Monster. The Hulk right? Where'd he go. The trail ends here."

Johnny knew the Hulk, but not the man that dwelled on the other side. "Start talking."

Hulk has posed:
When he's shoved, there's an actual yelp and his hands fly up to cover his face, "Pleasedon'tmakemeangrypleasedon'tmakemeangry, you don't want to make me angry." Bruce has it down to a mantra by this point with the number of people who have tried to bully him. "The Other Guy isn't here. Please. Go away, I'm doing important work here." His breathing is even as Bruce tries to maintain some semblance of calm.

Ghost Rider (Blaze) has posed:
Johnny looks a bit confused as apparently this guy looks like a wimp while...pleading not to make him angry? Uhh...is this some weird response that this guy used to fight off bullies? Well, apparently none of that matters to Johnny who tries to pin Bruce down to the desk by his shoulder, thumb digging down.

"Yeah? So you do know him huh? There's no where else he would have gone, so WHERE. IS. HE?!" he'd press harder.

Is flesh supposed to dig that deep? "I don't give a damn if you get angry or not. Where's the Hulk?!"

Hulk has posed:
"And I just got baacccCCKKKKKKK!" The suddenly green eyes, it's always them first. Then, the skin turns green slowly, steadily. The bulk and muscle grows in a split second later, and the 'ccckkkk' turns into a growl as the lab coat is shredded.

The jeans, apparently, are some sort of nanotech though, as they simply 'stretch' out to fit the man as his transformation turns him from his 5 feet 6 inches to the ten foot Hulk. Soon, The Hulk is out and squinting down at Johnny, "Hulk don't know what fire eyes man wants, but Hulk doesn't care, go away."

BAM! Hulks fist slams into Johnny, the force sending a shockwave through the warehouse as Johnny himself gets clobbered right into the roof and through it, sending him flying over the city.

Ghost Rider (Blaze) has posed:
Johnny's eyes go a little wide as he witnesses Banner undergo the transformation. THe grip Johnny had on Banner forced off via the used-to-be-smaller man's astonishing transformation. Johnny looks up at Hulk, but showed no fear.

Only...a bit of a surprise.

"Oh Fu-"

BOOM! Johnny is whalloped by that fist, flying straight through the roof with enough force to seemingly shatter most of it...and if one pays attention, they'll see a black little dot flying across the sky. It's a bird, it's a plane! It's....falling. ".....uuuuuUUUUCK!" and he lands across three trees, smashing through them all as he hits the ground next to the River, though he doesn't look like he suffered any injuries. He just stands himself back up. "Yeah, that hurt....okay big guy." though he now stands up...and looks up as well to see if the beast pursued him.

Hulk has posed:
Followed shortly by The Hulk cratering only a few feet away from Johnny from a jump. The dockfronts stragglers immediately start to run: When the Hulk shows up, the collateral damage isn't even a minor concern for the Hulk, "Go away, or Hulk MAKE you go away." The Hulk growls in his direction, his fists pounding together as he stares down at the durable man.

The ball is in Johnny's court.

Ghost Rider (Blaze) has posed:
Johnny doesn't even stumble backwards as he stares down the hulking beast. "Bring it on." Johnny then winces as he starts his own transformation, his flesh burning away like paper to a burning fire, muscle is next...until only a bare skull remains. Eyes looking like the window to Hell itself as a silver, bladed chain comes down from the demon's sleeve.

The Rider gives it's own ungodly howl at the hulking green beast before him, before attempting to blast the Hulk right in the chest with a powerful display of Hellfire. Judging by the way those eyes are burning, Zarathos is in control.

Looks like it's fight night.

Hulk has posed:
"Hulk hate demons." The Green Goliath mutters before he gives a savage roar and charges the Ghost Rider, his fists coming up to slam down into him and crater him down into the concrete. His style is very easy to see, giving the Ghost Rider an easy opening to exploit.

Ghost Rider (Blaze) has posed:
Ghost Rider definitely sees through Hulk's more...savage style. So Ghost Rider doesn't try to power game the Hulk. Instead, the Rider wraps that bladed chain around himself as per hte usual, and he lifts his fists like this was a boxing match. He sidesteps the Hulk and starts trying to punch Hulk in the Liver twice with heavy-handed, yet //fast// strikes, but their enough to shatter cars.

Maybe he can make the Hulk keel over a little bit? Who knows.

Hulk has posed:
It doesn't take a genius to read his attacks... but it does take a seriously durable entity to actually be able to handle his punches... or to do any serious damage to him. When Ghost Rider takes his surgical hits to where he thinks the liver is, The Hulk gives a pained growl as he gets lifted off his feet just a bit by the force of it. One hand moves to clutch where the hit landed, but when his hand moves away, Ghost Rider can easily see there are no breaks, no serious damage. There's only a slight bit of green blood from where there was a small gash from the hit.

"Hulk strongest there is, Fire Eyes man. The angrier Hulk gets, the stronger Hulk gets." Then, with a savage roar, the Hulk rears back, "Hulk SMASH!" And brings both hands down into the ground, creating a massive shockwave, and a gigantic hole in the ground where he stands.

Kid has posed:
Any excuse to get out and explore was a godsend. But what attracted the young gorilla was a familiar and growing sense of anger. Pulses of it that simply begged to be looked into. And so Kid finds himself heading closer and closer to the dockward and soon knuckle running to get a better look at what was going on.

Kid manages to get there in time to witness the punch and hear the roar. It WAS a fight! Haha! Kid let out a beastial growl and climbs up on some nearby freighter boxes to get a better look at the action - after he get back from being knocked down by a massive shockwave anyways.

Ghost Rider (Blaze) has posed:
Ghost Rider watches as his punches find their purchase. The Spirit of Vengeance is nothing to scoff at, that's for certain. Buuuut he's not exactly grandmaster of blocking. Especially when it comes to shockwaves. When the Hulk says his singature catchphrase and smashes the ground into a crater? Ghost Rider flies backwards, smashing into the dockhouse.

Ow.

The Rider stood up though and brandished that chain, attempting to swing it and wrap it around the Hulk's Neck, whilst running to try and jump on his back.

Does he plan to choke out the big green beast?

Would it actually work?

well....

Hulk has posed:
Climbing onto his back in the middle of the dust cloud The Hulk threw up around himself isn't hard.

Keeping on the Hulks back? That's another matter entirely. As the chains wrap around his neck though, the Hulk visibly grows another foot to eleven feet, adding bulk and height to his already massive form. The Hulk starts to spin around, using momentum to try and throw the Ghost Rider off, but given the chains, all it does is manage to spin Ghost Rider around like a top.

Kid has posed:
Kid cheers wildly at the display. Welp of all heros Hulk is among his favorites right now. Big, bad and goes smash! What not to like. He even goes as far as to take out a video camera to record this.
Though he can't help but look around and notice the civilians running away and screaming. He grunts thinking "What's there problem, this is some prime entertainment right here."

Ghost Rider (Blaze) has posed:
Ghost Rider hops on Hulk's back! Pulling those chains with about 70 tons of force to try and deprive the Hulk of air...the added benefit? He lights those chains on FIRE to make it hurt more. Though the Rider might be hurting the Hulk A LOT he knows he's not taking him down, which is why he's trying to go the exhaustion/suffocation route.

Come on bastard, FALL!

Hulk has posed:
The fire seems to be the last straw for the Hulk though... as when Ghost Rider sets the chains on fire, the Hulk reaches back and /grabs/ those chains, before using them to start tossing Ghost Rider into the ground back and forth, back and forth. The impact can be heard for blocks as Hulk slams him into the ground over and over. He's definitely gritting his teeth against the pain and the heat is obviously having an effect... but it doesn't seem to be overcoming his healing factor, or invulnerability.

His rage is already doubling yet again, probably leaving Kid reeling.

Kid has posed:
Well Kid -thought- he was prepared for the anger. He knew it all too well. And felt it all too much himself. His lips were curling and his rage was building and...

Frack it, Kid's going in!

On anyone around him really. He jumps down and startles a civilian who was trying to hide, only to grab them and slam them into a car multiple times to knock them out. From there...his target was anything close - and right now that was Ghost Rider and The Hulk. He charges forward towards them and jumps up to try and grapple the hulk himself.

Ghost Rider (Blaze) has posed:
The Rider goes for the ride! He's being slobberknocked! Smashing into the ground with each impact to the ground over and over again...but it appears that both are having a difficult time overcoming the other's invulnerability/extreme durability. Thus does the Rider enact it's true physical strength. When he's pulled upwards again? he yanks the chain so he flies towards the Hulk and the Rider attempts to punch the Hulk right in the nose so hard that a shockwave of his own might form.

Though of course, this is done without noticing Kid until the absolute last moment...

But by then? it's too late...

Hulk has posed:
In the middle of all the chaos, the Hulk doesn't really see Kid either, and when Ghost Rider punches him full on with his unleashed strength, the Hulk is sent right into another warehouse nearby... with the Ghost Rider in tow. The warehouse wall half collapses around them.

By the time Ghost Rider has his wits about him, the Hulk is stunned briefly against the wall on the other side of the warehouse, one hand clutching his head. He hasn't had a serious fight in a while, and wasn't expecting the sheer force just used on him. "Fire eyes man annoying."

Kid has posed:
Call it a mircle, call it dumb luck, call it an angel of death saying 'NOPE not today!' but Kid doesn't die! Seriously hurt. Yes. Dead. No. Kid takes the the attack to and goes flying with the hulk. With Hulk acting like a (hard) cushion before thumping onto the ground. Wood and rocks falling from the warehouse collapsing, causing further injury

Kid tries to rise from the wreckage shoving wood and metal aside. Extreamly bloodied and extensive bruising, far from invulnerable - likely a few broken bones at the very least. Adrelaline and rage was the only thing that kept him up barely as he let out a weak growl. And even that was begining to run out.

Ghost Rider (Blaze) has posed:
The Rider goes flying with the Hulk! landing in the rubble of what used to be the warehouse. Pushing himself out of the rubble and dragging his chain off of the Hulk, Ghost Rider looks Hulk in the eyes as he cracks his flaming neck. "No kidding.." it says in it's ghastly voice before it looks to Kid.

...and proceeds to try to grab him and toss him out of the way to a safe spot.

Because it's sure safer than being between these two.

Regardless, the RIder focuses his attention on the Hulk as it prepares to fight once again, though it wsraps it's chain back around itself as he prepares for a //real// fight.

Hulk has posed:
Then, as the Hulk regains his wits and focuses his attention on the Ghost Rider, Hulk visibly grows to thirteen feet, giving Kid time to be sent away, and growls as he stands up, "Leave Hulk ALONE!" The last comes out as a roar as Hulk simply charges Ghost Rider and tries to grapple him, heading right for the river if he manages it.

Kid has posed:
Kid is tossed aside, quite roughly. Didn't help the injuries none, but at least he wasn't being stampeded by hulk! He tumble after the throw and tries to move, but he simply goes down, barely able to stay awake.

Ghost Rider (Blaze) has posed:
Ohhhh shit.

The Ghost Rider though stands his ground and actually //rushes// at the Hulk! Though he's tackled hard, his feet dug right into the ground as he's pushed quite a bit backwrds until he's airborne! headed straight for the river! but the Hulk is //insanely// strong! Though the Rider tries to lift both his hands in the air and slam them both down on the Hulk's upper back to try and break the beast off of him.

Hulk has posed:
Insanely strong, and getting stronger. Ghost Rider would easily notice the Hulks growth from being thrown into the dock warehouse directly correlates to increased strength. Where before he was roughly on par, he's getting /stronger/ as the fight goes on. Enough that when he charges into Ghost Rider, he's quite capable of sending himself and Ghost Rider right into the Hudson with a roar.

It doesn't take long for the Hulk to start hammering Ghost Rider as they fall in the water to the bottom, his momentum working on pushing Ghost Rider into the river wall, and the construction there.

Ghost Rider (Blaze) has posed:
The Hulk manages to knock Ghost Rider straight into the Water, it's true. But as they flail throughout the River, The Rider, with Zarathos in control and it's strength unleashed, The Rider tries to wrap that silver chain around the massive beast...attempting to throw him straight down to the bottom of the hudson With a powerful yank.

They just tore up a dockhouse..and now who knows what they will destroy as these Titans duke it out.

Sabretooth has posed:
Victor Creed was no stranger to Lower Manhatten or at least the docks. He had been down there waiting for some smugglers that had paid for protection, but they had never shown up. He was irratable at a night wasted when he feels the viscious impacts even before he sees the two of them. He arrives on the scene just as the Hulk knocks the Rider into the river. "Aww, Hell," he mutters to himself and approaches the river.

Doctor Strange has posed:
"Now? Of all the times you could get into a fight you have to do it right when there's at least three different crisi-" Strange mumbles to himself as he steps up from his perch on the top of the Sanctum and with a motion of his head, the cloak that was floating next to him zips to its usual place upon the sorcerer's shoulders.

Flying through the city with a simple illusion spell upon himself, Strange heads towards the familiar rumbling of a Hulk contest and there he spots the two combatants. "Of course." Strange says in a sigh to himself as he approaches still.

Hulk has posed:
There's a minor earthquake in the river as the Hulk is slammed into the bed of the river, the river shaking just slightly above from the impact. That chain is a double edged sword though, as when the Hulk reorients himself, he reaches out with an arm, and yanks the Ghost Rider down /to him/, unless Ghost Rider can unwrap the chain within seconds. At the same time, he plants his feet on the bed of the river, before he launches upwards, both arms up and ready to jackhammer Ghost Rider himself into the dockyard wall at the river.

With the sheer force the Hulk is putting into it, it'd easily crack open the ground, probably into a sewer somewhere.

Ghost Rider (Blaze) has posed:
Well, that worked!

and this is gonna suck.

Chain yanked by the monster that rests at the bottom of the deep river, Ghost Rider is yanked down, jackhammered into that wall over and over again until the Rider rips the chain off of Hulk's body and hand, likely leaving cuts (or not) due to the silver, bladed chain. But, alas, the Rider still flies into a Sewer, growling a demonic growl as it stands up again.....before trying to power leap out and uppercut the Hulk hard enough to launch him out of hte water and into the the light forest nearby.

Sabretooth has posed:
Victor is knocked backwards and off his feet by the shaking of the ground beneath him as the titans clash with each other. He growls loudly in anger as he finds himself on his backside. But he is a firecracker in a nuclear exchange here. His amber eyes go upward as the Hulk is launching himself suddenly out of the water as if Posedion had just released the Krakken.

Doctor Strange has posed:
"There!" Stephen says aloud as Hulk is sent into the air by the force of his own leap and the Ghost Rider's attack. "You two will cease this mindless conflict now. By the power of the Vishanti I command it!" Strange says, his voice growing in size and depth as he speaks, the air itself doing Strange's will as he claps his hands and creates a mandala that his fist punches through before opening his hands and a large series of metallic, bands that appear molten hot, snakes out in a line from Strange to wrap around the green man and freeze him in the air and he prepares a second spell waiting for the half-demon man to emerge from the water.

Hulk has posed:
The Hulk was going to land in a random street next to the dockyard he was fighting the Ghost Rider at. At least he was before Doctor Strange reaches out with his magic and shackles the Hulk.

"Leave," The Hulk growls as he flexes, trying to break free. "Hulk," Another flex, "ALONE!" He roars as he grows another foot visibly, getting angrier from the magicians interference in /his/ fight.

He's restrained, but the longer Doctor Strange keeps him that way, the more power he needs to use to do so, because he's making the Hulk angrier, his limbs flailing wildly if not restrained.

Ghost Rider (Blaze) has posed:
Ghost Rider senses the magic from Strange. Don't tell me it's going to be round two between the Sorcerer Supreme and the Spirit of Vengeance?! He swims up to the surface...before that Silver chain bursts out of the water, attempting to enwrap strange in it's coils. Not meant to hurt or kill Strange, but meant to entangle and trap. The Rider had a mission. Only after the chain flies out does the Rider emerge from the water, the hellfire surrounding him not dousing for even a second.

Sabretooth has posed:
Victor is scrambling back up to his feet and backing away. His claws are growing slightly on his hands as he is furious about feeling helpless in this situation. Anger is his natural state anyway so it doesn't take much pushing. His head snaps over towards the wizard as the loud voice comes booming and then the Hulk answers in kind.

Doctor Strange has posed:
"I will, when you are no longer interrupting my studies with your punches!" Strange says, to Hulk, never one to mince words, Strange really should learn how to use that bedside manner to maybe help calm the Hulk instead of choosing to restrain him, but such is Stephen's hubris at times.

Also his attention is still half on the water, waiting for the flaming skeleton to appear and yet the chain does catch Stephen by surprise, and the doctor's leg is wrapped up soundly, the concentration is removed from Stephen's spell, freeing the Hulk as Stephen is dragged down through the air, by the sheer weight of the chains. "No, no no no! Not again!" He bellows and pleads.

Hulk has posed:
/BOOM/

The Hulk slams down through the warehouse he was above, the same one he went through before with the Ghost Rider, and the building rooftop had a big Hulk sized hole now... along with one into the basement of the warehouse. There's another minor earthquake as he lands on the foundation, disoriented from the sudden fall and force of being dropped on his head.

It takes a moment for him to regain his bearings... but when he does, he jumps right back through the holes in the building he created to land on the rooftop, gauging the situation. His green eyes watching the sudden grapple... before he leaps right at Doctor Strange to try and intercept and grapple him into the river.

Seems like the good Doctor pissed off the Hulk enough he's switched targets.

Ghost Rider (Blaze) has posed:
Ghost Rider looks to Strange. "Strange." the demon speaks with an ungodly voice, before he sees Victor...narrowing those hellish eyes at the mutant who appears to be in the wrong place at the wrong time. But, alas...they ALL have a bigger problem on their hands....

The Big Green monster.

The Rider did not want either Creed or Strange in this fight...Hulk needed to pay for what he'd done. So, in quick fashion, the Rider removes his chain from Strange's leg without injury...then is whipped right at the Hulk, attempting to wrap it around the beast's neck and yank him towards the Rider...who would be waiting with, quite literally, a helluva right hook.

Problem?

Hulk is really pissed off.

Sabretooth has posed:
Victor follows the fight almost like a tiger stuck in a zoo cage. He paces slightly, but never takes his eyes off the combatants. He knows better to get right involved with Hulk's fists. His healing is pretty good, but that could make him into paste before he really had a chance to recover. Still, with Hulk being focused on Strange, maybe pitching in with some quick strikes might open the Hulk to attacks by the other too.

Doctor Strange has posed:
Strange's decent is halted just before he hits the water's edge and he gives Blaze a long sidelong glance. "Punching him will not work if you're trying to stop him." The doctor states. So far he hasn't noticed Creed as being anything more than a by stander and yet that seems to fuel Strange in helping all the more. The Hulk is out and Stephen is one person who can help.

Stephen just barely has time to flex his fingers and summon a large mandala between himself and the Hulk as the green missile is on target and smashes into the defensive spell hard enough to push Strange into the bottom of the hudson and the spell quickly fades at Stephen touches river-bed.

Hulk has posed:
Smashing through the defensive spell is easy when you've pissed off the Hulk enough to force him to grow to seventeen feet. He manages to get Strange tumbling into the river.... but the Hulk is by now used to the Ghost Rider and his tactics.

One thing many underestimate about the Hulk is that he's not stupid. He's childlike... but he's cunning, and one of the most adaptable creatures in the universe. So, when the Ghost Rider pulls the Hulk back towards him with those chains? Instead of getting a face full of Hulk to right hook... the Hulk orients himself so both massive legs crash into the Ghost Rider instead. It's enough force to easily cause an angled crater a few dozen feet down, into the yard... and Hulk promptly starts to hammer down into the Ghost Rider with his fists.

Minor Earthquakes can be felt throughout the area as Hulk roars, his rage breaking open the ground with his strikes.

She-Hulk has posed:
She-Hulk felt the earthquakes and saw the news. Several leaps one thousand feet into the air while she's sprinting at full speed bring her from Gotham to Manhatten in relatively short order. Squirrel Girl is following her the last she looked. Her main focus now is getting to her cousin before.. something that already happened. She lands some distance from the battle to see that Bruce has already lost control, "No.. too late.." She is unsure of what to do at the moment and waits for Squirrel Girl to arrive.

Ghost Rider (Blaze) has posed:
Oh shit.

The Rider wasn't expecting Hulk to wisen up. Thus, he's landed on and smashed into a crater...and eats every single blow that Hulk gives him! and for a moment, the Rider doesn't appear to move for a moment.

However, after a few moments? The rider dodges to the side of one of the Hulk's mighty blows, and attempts to plant a major punch in the Hulk's throat to knock him off and perhaps even stun the green giant.

The Rider and the Hulk have been battling for a long time now...and the city is starting to feel the result of the clash between these titans.

Squirrel Girl has posed:
Doreen Green may have had a wee bit of trouble keeping up with She-Hulk. Okay, a lot of trouble. It seemed a little much to ask to ride on her shoulders, though, they were only new acquaintances and Doreen's tail could be so very ticklish.

Still, the squirrel grapevine keeps Doreen properly updated on the trajectory so that she finally arrives on the scene, landing in a tree and sitting on a large branch over She-Hulk's head. She may be breathing a LITTLE hard.

"So...hurrrrrrrrrrrrr...what's going...huhhhhhhhhhhhggggh...on...oh...oh...eeeeeegaaaaaaah...that's...that seems bad."

Sabretooth has posed:
As the Hulk begins to piledrive the Rider, Victor sees an opportunity to strike and perhaps lend a hand to the major powerhouses that are already here. He drops to all fours and runs at the back of the Hulk. Much like a wolf defending the pack, he strikes at the legs of the Hulk with those razor sharp claws before darting off again. He doubts he can do too much damage, but could get the Not So Jolly Green Giant a distraction for a moment. HIs claws aren't Logan's but they can cut through a lot. But Hulk Skin? Don't know unless you try.

Doctor Strange has posed:
Still at the bottom of the hudson, Strange is holding his breath and looking up to the surface as he struggles to kick his way up. Yet the sudden attack he suffered didn't give him much time to take in a breath and ...

There's a brilliant flash of light from beneath the surface of the water and yet, there's no wizard breaching the river...

Hulk has posed:
When the Hulk is as psychotic as this and venting his rage, it doesn't take very much to get past his defenses from behind. His focus is fully on Ghost Rider when Victor attacks his back. That thick hide of the Hulk is barely scratched on the surface by Victor, but it doesn't draw blood.

It does, however, force the Hulk to reel back with a roar of pain as he reflexively tries to bat away the new annoyance... only to hit empty air as Victor gets out of the way.

The opening is all Ghost Rider needs to punch him in the throat though... and Hulk goes flying back out into the river by the force.

A large water plume can be seen in the water as seventeen foot of Hulk tries to get his bearings back as he floats down.

She-Hulk has posed:
She-Hulk watches her cousin go sailing through the air and into the river. She turns to Squirrel Girl, "You.. can't follow me beyond the point. Please.. just stay here. I am probably going to get swatted into the sun in a few minutes but I have to try to get to him. That green giant who just got thrown there? That is my cousin and.. I am the only one who might be able to calm him down. I probably can't but it's always kind of been my job.."

With that she leaps into the air towards the river, not waiting for Doreen's response. She lands on the river's edge near where Hulk landed, searching the water for his inevitable and very loud crash of a resurfacing.

Superman has posed:
/BOOM/ the sound of a sonic boom high over the area rattles windows and causes dust to settle from where it's resting in buildings all over the city as Superman arrives, having been alerted by The Watchtower the red caped hero got here as quickly as he could, his eyes scanning with x-ray vision he quietly floats down to about fifteen feet above the surface of the river.. "Hulk, I need you to take a deep breath and try to calm down. You've not hurt anyone too terribly yet, but this cannot end well." he calls out in a clear tone..

Squirrel Girl has posed:
Doreen Green bites her lip, which is easy for her because she has such full lips (and NOT because she has buck teeth, how dare you?!?). Monkey Joe scampers down her arm and peers at the action going on, then looks back at Doreen and shakes his head glumly in warning.

"I'm not one to back off from a challenge, She-Hulk! With that said, I will sit here and watch and good luck to you, please don't die because your cousin is a grouch, I like you and wanted to use you as a reference for the Avengers. So...um...HOLY CRAP, IS THAT SUPERMAN?!?"

Ghost Rider (Blaze) has posed:
Ghost Rider stands up then, brushing himself off...still quite invulnerable to the battle with the Hulk..just as the Hulk is invulnerable to Ghost Rider's attacks. Then...Superman arrives.

Great.

Though the Rider gives a simple nod to Victor Creed as a way of saying 'thanks for the assist', the attention of the Spirit of Vengeance locks onto The Hulk once more.

Standoff of the century...

Sabretooth has posed:
Victor comes to a rest crouched down and his hands resting on the ground. His eyes narrow as Superman appears on the scene. He does give a nod back towards the Rider, but he is starting to back up now as he stands. No point or profit getting too involved in this one or what that one in the cape.

Hulk has posed:
The Hulk is massive, and his bulk sinks down to the floor as he orients himself. By the time Superman is above, the Hulk is is no position to hear him... but he does leap out of the water, into the city. A moment later, and he's crashed into the side of a skyscaper, and started to climb to the rooftop.

Soon, he's high above the city, watching the riverfront for any sign of anyone else coming to tell him what to do, having beaten Ghost Riders head in a bit more, maybe he'll finally left the Big Green alone?

She-Hulk has posed:
She-Hulk doesn't even get the chance to speak to Bruce, "Damnit!" She looks over at Superman, "It's you.. I normally have smartass thing to say right now but I've got nothing.. I don't know how to get to him. I can try to get to the building he's on but.. he'll probably just attack one of us. I've talked him down before but he wasn't this far gone. I've never even been close to angry enough to get where he is and.. I don't want to ever know if I can."

She does pause for a second, "Oh.. right.. I'm She-Hulk. I'm Bruce's cousin, Jennifer Walters."

Squirrel Girl has posed:
Since things seemed to have come down from Defcon HULK, Doreen runs in a bit and plants herself next to She-Hulk, "And I'm SQUIRREL GIRL!" she says, her fluffy tail quivering a bit nervously. "I have no idea what's going on, but that's never stopped me before! Wow, you're tall! Can I tug on your cape? Just to say I did?"

Ghost Rider (Blaze) has posed:
Ghost Rider just summons his motorcycle to him, the Hellcycle as it were. That demonic looking motorcycle revving that LOUD engine as it rolls up to it's master...who mounts it and simply doesn't waste time talking. "He'll destroy whatever he sees if we don't stop him."

and without another word, the Ghost Rider rides off into the city at breakneck speeds!!

Superman has posed:
Superman glances down at She-Hulk slowly floating down to land on the ground beside She-Hulk. "Miss Walters, Squirrel Girl." he says nodding to the two before he just grabs the edge of his cape and holds it out to the young woman. "Give if a feel." he encourages as he then looks at the building where Hulk is doing his best King Kong impersonation.. "I can carry you over to talk to him, see if you can talk him down, if that doesn't work, I have a plan B we might try." he says glancing back over to Dorren "Squirrel Girl, do you have a cellphone on you?" he asks

Hulk has posed:
When no one comes for him /immediately/, the Hulk stands there, before he roars out in frustration. He looks about to jump when he stops, his teeth showing in rage as he moves along the edges of the rooftop... waiting to see if anyone is coming after him.

She-Hulk has posed:
She-Hulk raises a brow at Superman, "Well aren't you the perfect gentleman. I could jump up there myself but that would take longer so why not? Our first date might as well be in the sky.. my standards have been rising every day." She's kidding.. probably.

Looking at Doreen, "Well you just can't resist jumping into danger can you? I think you'll make a great Avenger.. one of the prerequisites is not caring about how doomed you are until -after- you've started fighting..'

Squirrel Girl has posed:
Doreen Green grins, "First of all - you're never doomed. As long as you're breathing, there's hope. Anybody with two fists has a fighting chance," she says. "And yes, Superman, I do have a cellphone!" she says, fumbling in her jacket for a moment before pulling one out.

"Do you want me to call someone? Or look something up? Do you think he would calm down if we showed him some cat memes?"

Superman has posed:
Superman smiles.. "Great, I know this wonderful hotdog stand in a park over in Metropolis, maybe we'll catch a bite afterwards." Superman says in a joking manner shifting to bring his right foot out a bit from in line with his left his elbow going out in a gentlemanly fashion.. "just step on my foot and grab my arm." he says before nodding to Doreen "You may have the most important job in all of this.. Find where there are local pet shops, ask them if they have between four and half a dozen French Bulldog, or boston terrier puppies, don't tell them they're for superman you'll just get hung up on as a crank caller, but source me that box of puppies." he says his voice completely serious. "Do you think you can do that?" he asks

Ghost Rider (Blaze) has posed:
Ghost Rider is soon driving UP THE BUILDING that Hulk seems to have made his King Kong perch on.

Vengeance is coming.

Hulk has posed:
"Leave Hulk ALONE!" Hulk roars down the rooftop as Ghost Rider drives up it to him. Let's see how far he's willing to go to follow!

The Hulk breaks windows at the top of the skyscaper as he jumps westward, immediately going supersonic from the sheer force.

Looks like Hulk is going to try to outpace the spirit of vengeance. Poor Bruce, looks like his tests will have to wait.

She-Hulk has posed:
She-Hulk watches Ghost Rider charge off towards her cousin, "Ummm.. isn't that a bit counterproductive?" She's hanging onto Superman now, "So much for puppies.. I'd say knock that lunatic off his bike to buy some time but.. it'd probably make things worse huh?"

Ghost Rider (Blaze) has posed:
The Ghost Rider skids toba screeching halt, seeing that it would take far too long to catch up to the Hulk now.. The Rider transforms back into Johnny Blaze...who looks like he's still fresh and ready to go. "Damn.." though he does hold his head. Killer headache. but nonetheless, he watches the Hulk leave, and he doesn't pursue.

Squirrel Girl has posed:
Doreen Green is already on the phone with several pet shops, managing to call more than once at once and just switching back and forth between lines, "No, not iguanas! Nothing I said sounded like iguanas! Just...oooo..." she sighs, shaking her head, "Customer service is a lost art. But I'm not giving up!'
