Captain Marvel (Danvers) has posed:
Dressed in training pants and a sports top, working a punching bag with alternating series of kicks and fists. Looks like she's been at it a while, judging by the sweat she worked out, regulating her breathing with her strikes at each set.

Black Canary has posed:
Dinah Drake comes in wearing something similar, stretching. She hmmms happily as she goes for a training dummy, grabs a pair of escrima sticks, and goes to town on it. She does a quick set then glances over towards the far wall. Maybe should practice some archery - maybe she can impress a certain someone.

Captain Marvel (Danvers) has posed:
"Keeping in shape, that's good," Carol comments as she delivers one sound final fist, before moving away from the bag, looking at Dinah with the target dummy, "what's your favorite style?" She asks, having some idea of Canary's martial arts prowess.

Black Canary has posed:
Dinah Drake smiles faintly. "Knowing better than to spar with someone who is superstrong." She smiles. "I have no favorite. I believe my success is due tothe fact that I use different styles and mix them up. I was actually thinking of trying some archery. Maybe I can impress a certain someone."

Captain Marvel (Danvers) has posed:
"Sounds very Jeet Kun Do," Carol winks playfully at Dinah, not shy about showing she has some knowledge of her own, even though her style is far more brawly than refined. At least when it comes to preference. "It's not the end all, be all, but a smart choice. Everything good in your personal life? Anything out of the ordinary after that space fungus mayhem?"

Black Canary has posed:
Dinah Drake smiles faintly - and even manages a faint blush. "I have a new boyfriend," she states softly. "But... anyone who's read any newspaper or tabloid would know about that." The news of Oliver Queen being in a relationship with Dinah Drake - one hat has lasted longer than any other - is still around the celebrity gossip circles. "I think it's really going somewhere." She ponders. "And you?"

Captain Marvel (Danvers) has posed:
"A boyfriend...? That's taking care of downtime, when did you manage?" Carol chuckles, if not a bit impressed, hard to find time for such things in this lifestyle. "I don't have the time to read them I get executive summaries, they fail to include such matters. Tabloids I wouldn't touch." She looks Dinah over in silence, and then quips, "is Queen going to take you away from us? Because I might rough him up if it happens," she jokes, while ever so casually missing the mirrored question.

Black Canary has posed:
Dinah Drake snorts. "Oh, should I report to Human Resources for dating a coworker?" she muses, eyebrow raised. "Anyway. Please don't rough him up. He gets grouchy about new scars." She ponders softly. "Space has been quiet of late, huh? I haven't heard much from this group in a while."

Captain Marvel (Danvers) has posed:
"No...I just like to keep the pulse of my team, if you're about to leave, I should have people looking into replacements. I rather not have to do that though...but, I think I know what relationship is like, it takes your time..." it's dry musing, but Carol mostly seems to sympathize. She snorts when Dinah manages to so casually dismiss Space as having been quiet. "I'd say we deserve reprise after the chaos of the space fungi, we even managed to get the Kree involved on that one, and the Lantern Corps, so, I'd say it was quite taxing. But hey, we're here, the Earth is here, so good job."

Black Canary has posed:
Dinah Drake nods. "I'm not going anywhere. Speaking of which, I had the weirdest person drop into my store a few days ago. An agent of SHIELD. They want me to be a liaison officer. I told them I'd think about it. But probably should bring it up to my commander." She smiles faintly. "I hear good things about them."

Captain Marvel (Danvers) has posed:
Carol just laughs when Dinah relates what happened in her store, "they cheated, as can be expected, they know who your commander is. So naturally, they know I would accept. Albeit I'm offended they think they need the capacity at all, I thought we were closer than that..." Carol feigns being insulted, before shaking the feigned expression as quickly as it was put on. "I'm going for some water, can I get you anything while I'm at it...?"

Black Canary has posed:
Dinah Drake smiles faintly. "I'm going to accept. I'm curious myself - would give me more knowledge about what they do. Water's fine with me." She picks up the bow and aims at the target, firing one - barely hitting it. "Damn. Out of practice."
