Cast of Characters: Tygra, 277, 283

Tygra has posed:
Somewhere in Connecticut

Leaning down in front of the half-crushed and parted off suspension capsule Tygra manages to power it back on, the bleeping noise it makes signifying its very much operable now. "By Jaga." he exclaims and then opens up the Thundercats communication channels. A roar sound coming out of it before it goes online, bounced off Earth satellites by the hi-tech systems of Thunderian and Berbil origin, also some Earthworld car-stereo parts.

"Thundercats, can anyone hear me? Hello? It is Tygra." The voice coming through is very much his and in clear Thunderian, not English or any other Earther tongue.

"Whiskers!" he exclaims as the viewscreen doesn't appear to be working, a few more bats along the side of it and static wriggles across the display before he becomes a blurry image.

Cheetara (277) has posed:
A great deal of static is heard before a voice comes through. "-TSSSSSSSH-ome inSSSSSSSHHHH-" Yup, that was definitely a voice.

WilyKat (283) has posed:
Wilykat has been quiet for a while, mainly because he was sleeping in the tent set up in the wooded area Lion-O had been in. When he's asleep, he actually doesn't talk! Wonder of all wonders. If only Vorpal was there to savor the silence.

Said silence is, however, interrupted by something coming in, some kind of noise or static, a voice or two. "Huh? Whuzzat?" he wonders, sitting up to stretch before scratching at his sides as he looks around. "Nobody there."

Then a voice is heard again, coming from the pod itself. While he hadn't been napping in it, the Thundercat wasn't far away. With a sizable yawn, he approaches to see about figuring the thing out. He didn't really have to use it before. *taptaptap* goes a claw on the screen, then he puts an ear up to it. "Hello? Helllloooooooooo!" The pod was dinged up pretty good, but it does appear to be functional.

Tygra has posed:
"I hear something... who is that?" Tygra inquires. He has been alone for some period of time now, hearing even a response from one of his possible teammembers is absolute relief. A claw tapping the screen as if it will get their attention, "I repeat. This is Tygra of the Thundercats, if any of you hear mSSSHHH respond."

Cheetara (277) has posed:
"TSSSSSSSH of the thundercatsSSSSHHHHHH" Well, that's been established easily enough. Then there's a LOUD screching sound that's obviously from the other end until.....silence. But....."This is Cheetara of the Thundercats. Anyone listening?"

WilyKat (283) has posed:
Loud noises! The screeching causes Wilykat to recoil and cover his ears, grimacing. The first inclination is to smack the screen..which he does, fortunately with an open hand instead of a fist, because that would have been a bad idea. "Stop not working right!" he demands of it.

Then, wonder of all wonders, the screen actually flickers a few times and shows an image. It's not a very good one, as there are a few cracks in it and lines all over the picture itself, but it's a start. "Can you hear me? It's Wilykat. Who's there? What did you just say?" When things are repeated, he visibly perks. "Tygra? Cheetara? Is that you?"

Tygra has posed:
"Ow ow." The noises, then, excitement. "I have set my capsule up to act as a hub. Wow, Cheetarah, I missed that beautiful... screechy distorted voice and was that Kit? Kat? Both of you!!?" Tygra doesn't explain how they're now able to bounce signals off Thunderian tech for eachother, as long as its communication suitable it will pick up on the proper channels.

Cheetara (277) has posed:
Cheetara's voice comes back easily, but there's other voices in the distance. "Good to hear your voice too, Tygra. I hear you too, Wilykat. Really good to hear your voices."

WilyKat (283) has posed:
Voices come through better than images so far, but it's a start. "I have no idea what you just said about a hub..thing..but you're around! Somewhere!" Wilykat exclaims, a note of excitement detected. His voice also seems a little deeper. Just a problem with the speakers, surely. Right?

"Uhhmm..no, it's just me right now. You haven't seen Kit anywhere?" This puts a damper on his enthusiasm. "I haven't heard from her at all." If images /do/ happen to clear up and they can see him, he definitely looks older in the face.

Tygra has posed:
"We're all able to talk now. This is good, open communication. I'm in a place called Culver or near Culver. I don't know, I don't speak /English/ that is what I am told its called so there is a curve and my translator is broken. It's relatively safe here. I've met people who want to help us but... I'm not exactly prepared to just trust right away. Nor should any of you, look what happened back home."
Tygra pauses and looks around him at the forest, the scrap metal and parts all around him. Also a Berbil. One who has been helping him tear things apart.
"No, no Kat, I am sorry. No Lion-O or Snarf either. I have ran in to a Berbil, he says there are more but they're hard to understand in their excitement. They're going to help me repair what we can. You voice Kat, you sound gruffer, you are not sick are you?"

Cheetara (277) has posed:
"Just make sure you get rid of your hairballs off of the comm, Wilykay." Cheetara then chuckles. "I'm in a city. I know that much. Strangely, no one has bothered me thus far, but I look a lot like them, it seems. I helped out someone who had lost their child and ran into a....Lois Lane. Said she was a reported for the 'Daily Planet' then pointed up to a building, but I couldn't read what the stones said. She seemed friendly...."

WilyKat (283) has posed:
"Oh..well, I hope she's safe. I think I'd know if something bad happened to her. I can't read anything here either, or understand them without my translator thing..and I saw Lion-O. He was around here. I don't know where here is, but I'm there," Wilykat explains in a way that really doesn't shed much light on his location at all. "There are a lot of trees, and we have a tent, and before that I met someone else who's cat but not a cat like us and he'd seen Lion-O too and he let me stay at his home for a few days too."

Awake now, the words flow like a river, then he's shaking his head whether they can see it or not. "It's not hairballs! And I also met someone who looked like the lizard robots but he wasn't and I think he saw you, Tygra?" Almost as an afterthought, he sounds somewhat confused as he says, "I'm not sick either. Something happened in the pod, I think."

Tygra has posed:
More gruff, possibly choked up. Tygra didn't think about that. "I am sure she is fine, WilyKat. Lion-O?! Good. Then we still have our King." Lizard robot? Tygra has to think on this, "Cyberdragon?! Yes he has been helping me. He voiced wanting friendship and said he would help guide us. Two others as well, a Susan-Storm-Richards and Phoenix. They have extended their hands but I have kept my distance."
Beat
"What happened in the pod?"

Cheetara (277) has posed:
Cheetara remains silent as she listens to what happens with Wilykat.

WilyKat (283) has posed:
"He's not here right now, though. I don't know where he went. I was asleep." Wilykat is looking around, then they can hear him shouting, forgetting about the pod's communications for a moment. "LION-OOOOOOO! WHERE ARE YOOOOUUUUU?"

But, no answer. "Cyberdragon? I think that was his name, yes. He bought me these things called 'hot dogs' from someone who had a cart full of them. They were really good."

So far, he's shown no name recognition of Lois, or Susan, or Phoenix. They may as well be as foreign to him as the language of this part of the world they're in. Finally, "I think the pod didn't work right. I got a little bigger."

Tygra has posed:
"Hot dogs... Are they dangerous?" Tygra asks, it has dog in it. Likely it's something bad. "Or are you eating actual dogmen? Wait, you aged? Fantastic..." A silent moment, "Cheetara, Lois and the Daily Planet. What do they want with you after you saved the kid? Can they be trusted?" He is just trying to get a lay of the land until the have a better method of data storage, a way to help eachother from their distances. What he wouldn't give for a ThunderClaw or HoverCat. An idea sparks. He'll have to set to that later.

Cheetara (277) has posed:
"Lois seemed more curious than anything else. Her friend, Clark, seemed the more inquisitive sort. Asking if there were more and for descriptions as well. Lois asked too, but Clark asked first. Lois was a female and Clark was male."

WilyKat (283) has posed:
"Do you think they're safe?" Wilykat wonders at the end of Cheetara's description of Lois and Clark.

Then he adds, "No, I didn't eat any dog..men! They're like this..thing..like as long as your hand and kind of as thick as your finger and you put different things on them before you eat them."

Next is a frown in the tailed cat's expression, coming through in his words as well. "But I'm not a kitten any more. What's fantastic about that?" Tygra really need not answer /that/ question.

Tygra has posed:
"Curious can be alarming but if you can make allies of them, thats good. We need as many as we can get just... be careful." Tygra says quietly to Cheetara.
"Sounds weird and really what you're saying explains nothing, if its not a 'dog' why call it a dog?" He doesn't add that he was being sarcastic about the growth. It will sink in on Kat eventually.

Cheetara (277) has posed:
"Worried that you might not be able to be 'cute' anymore, Kat?" Cheetara says with a laugh. "Actually, Lois seemed to be curious because I rescued a cub. I couldn't understand the woman I returned the cub to because I didn't have my translator in my ear. But Lois seemed....glad I returned the cub."

WilyKat (283) has posed:
Wilykat merely sniffs at the apparent teasing over his cuteness being affected by being older, or at least bigger. "I don't know what you're talking about, Cheetara. And I figured out what the hot dogs are, Tygra! They're like sticks of meat! I think you'd like them." Since he doesn't know much about the rest of the conversation, he mostly leaves it to the others to discuss aside from saying, "It sounds like you were doing the right thing."

Tygra has posed:
Tygra laughs at Cheetara's joke. It was nice hearing the humor pass between them. When they had left New Thundara and those final weeks before deciding stasis was the only way to survive things were bleak, darker. Mumm-Ra's influence was depressing.

"I'm sure you'll get free candies even on Earth by batting your eyelashes." Tygra adds to the teasing.
"Maybe, you'll have to introduce me to a hot dog merchant and when I see you again, Cheetara, after I am done hugging you lifeless I want to meet Lois and Clark. It will be good to see all of you, I will keep looking for the others until then. Berbil Bert says hello."

Cheetara (277) has posed:
"I'll be hugging all of you when I see you again. And Wilykat's right, Hotdogs aren't that bad. they sell them here in the city, whichever city this is. I can't read anything and my translator doesn't scan words. I'm out in a park at the moment. There's a water fountain here, so I have plenty to drink. Just need to find food that.....isn't thrown into...what I assume, is a refuse bin. People ask for 'money' and.....I don't have any."

WilyKat (283) has posed:
"You just haven't met the right people yet, Cheetara," Wilykat explains, sounding mildly smug that he's been able to score free food for himself. He has nothing to offer when it comes to the whole hugging thing but he adds, "If I see Lion-O soon I'll tell him we talked. I don't know where he went, though." Oh, yes, some things got very bleak before the pods were used, but he's trying to cope. Really.

Shortly after that he perks up. "You have Berbils with you?! And Cheetara, sometimes you can find some great stuff other people throw away." He and Kit had to at one point.

Tygra has posed:
"Do you have shelter, Cheetara?" Tygra really needs to find a way to get to them or them to him. A noise from behind him and a clatter, "Yes, a couple survived as well. I think where I am a bulk of our gear crashed down, I had to evade men in suits the other day who were trying to collec things. They're slow though, we've been out here a bit. It's progress though. Berbil Bert says if we can get the right stuff put together they can begin processing fruit again too."

Cheetara (277) has posed:
"it's probably those shield agents I was told about." Cheetara says before sighing a bit. "There's an underpass in the area, so I stay under there. it seems to be a popular place since others stay here, and are not run off by the authorities......

WilyKat (283) has posed:
Wilykat frowns again. "Whiskers. You're sleeping outside with strangers?" He doesn't like the sound of that at all. "I wish I knew how to get where I am. Tygra, can you find anything through the pods? The cat I told you about before can make these things where you're here one moment, but a whole different place another."

Almost as an afterthought, eagerness shows as he asks, "Candy fruit too?"

Tygra has posed:
"SHIELD Agents? Don't like the sound of that and I'm worried for you Cheetara. You're in one of their cities without any of us there... " Tygra goes quiet towards them but is apparently being interrupted by creepy Ro-Bear-Berbil voice sounds, "Language Thunderkitt... " He cuts himself off realizing what he is about to say to WilyKat.

"Yes probably candy fruit too."

Cheetara (277) has posed:
"It's no different than at Cat's Lair on Thundera, Wilykit. And, from what I've seen, I can outrun their vehicles."

WilyKat (283) has posed:
"But..you shouldn't have to outrun anybody," Wilykat insists, voice fading in and out for a few seconds. He's pacing near the pod. "Should I stay here, or try to get to where you are, Tygra?" After all..candy fruit! The chiding over his language goes untouched.

Tygra has posed:
"She is a warrior. She'll be okay." Tygra is saying to himself as much as WilyKat. Cheetara is also a priestess, nothing to underestimate as well and like she just pointed out one with superspeed.

"Just stay with Lion-O. Kat. I am working on an idea and the fact that we can communicate at least will have to make due for now. We will all be together soon. Just keep in touch. The Berbils and I have to go forage some more and see where these SHIELD guys are, we're doing our best to stay out of sight but they're canvassing pretty hard. Speak to you both very soon, Thundercats Forever." ClICK. His feed cuts off and some of the signal is lost but not all of it.
