Meeting at The Fortress of Solitude!
Date of Scene: 22 September 2018
Location: Unknown
Synopsis: Summary needed
Cast of Characters: Phoenix, Superman, Wonder Woman
Tinyplot: Astral Flux

Phoenix has posed:
The terrible nightmares brought about the Astral Flux have been jarring, the real world results, every bit as jarring. Once Jean found herself waking up in a room eaten by flames, she scarcely managed to stop a full burnout of the Xavier Mansion, and as a result choose to exile herself while the anomaly persists. There's a very powerful foe to deal with, but endangering the students at Xavier's is something she'll never do. Even if it means going as far as she can.

She had recently camped herself in Antarctica, sufficently remote, with little chance of hurt a fellow human being. It also allowed her to reflect on the nightmares, and the strange affects. The first week went by without anything out of the ordinary. But today, she felt a strange impulse, a draw as it were. Something pulling her to navigate the polar desert, in search of something undefined. A faint fiery aura flickering about her body kept her from suffering the extreme cold of the area, as she took to exploration.

Superman has posed:
As Jean follows the pull, the frosty terrain below her starts to change, the craggy frost covered ground flattening out as a hexagonal pattern starts to make itself apparent in the ground uneven with some pillars several feet taller than others the blowing and billowing snow keeps visibility down in the bright land of the midnight sun as she follows that pull til suddenly rising up above her a quarter mile tall and half a mile wide a giant pyramidal structure suddenly becomes visible, the ever present sunlight refracting off the crystalline pillars that rise out of the ground, some seemingly random as they jut out away from the main structure, while others rise in overlapping angles to create the jagged edged building an inner glow visible that pulses through the crystals..

Phoenix has posed:
Jean slows down when she suddenly feels the change in texture underneath her feet, it's not a conciousness awareness, so much as something that just happened after she walked a while into it. "What the...?" She remarks to herself, a very odd finding in the middle of the arctic. Perhaps something Professor Croft would care to study, but that is neither here nor there, as Jean is on her own at the moment.

She does send a quick telepathic scouring wave to the area, testing if she somehow slipped into the Astral Plane unawares? Are there other minds nearby? She has to wonder if the nature of the structure is alien, or ancient hitherto unfound. "Hello...?" She tries to call out as she takes to the air to better study the structure, looking for some kind of visible entrance.

Superman has posed:
The silence of the artic wasteland is all that responds to Jean's telepathic, and verbal all out, the sound actually echoing as something near the struture is dampening the near constant billowing wind. This close to the structure Jean can see the snowstorm seems to be blowing /around/ the structure as if a forcefield were in place re-directing the ice and wind.

Roughly square in shape and covering the better part of half a square mile there's a sudden pulse in the crystalline structure bright lights shining through a couple of the individual pillars outside of the fortress as soemthing starts to happen the clear crystal structures fog over like the windows of a warm building and then darken for several seconds before a golden bodied legless robot rises from the crystalline structure, with long spindly robotic arms and an oval shaped 'head' of narrow black rods that ripple and form into a humanoid face.

Three of these creatures start to float up towards the investigating Jean Grey clearly synthetic voices rising into the air, the 'lips' of the first robot moving and speaking in a foreign language that something in the back of Jean's head registers as familiar, the second robot speaks in the tonal form of some Asian tongue, the third speaking in what is clearly french..

The first robot speaks again, this time in english. 'You are entering a restricted area, do you require aid and assistance?'

Phoenix has posed:
Spotting the strange behaviour of the powerful winds and vision limitating cloud of white, Jean starts to wonder if there's perhaps a more nefarious explanation to this structure. It seems as if whoever made it, didn't plan on it being found. Strange chance that Jean would feel so drawn to it.

"Restricted by whom if I may ask...?" Jean remains surprisingly calm to the appearance of three robots, a testament to the grand adventures experiences on Earth and in Space as a founding member of the X-Men. "I am called to this area...and I am not sure why. Is the owner home?" She only has to assume the robots are not sentient.

Superman has posed:
I am Kelex One, these are Kelex Two, and Three, we are guardians of The Fortress, the master has been alerted and if not otherwise preoccupied will be here within minutes." The golden robot says as all three float before Jean Grey in a roughly horizontal triangular formation. "If you would please follow me and land you are perilously close to the point where The Fortresses defences will activate." The robot says..

Meanwhile in The Hall of Justice! Superman has met with Diana, a discussion about current global events, and a talk about watch tower duty being their main goal. "Diana! I brought you something, Mr. Johanneson down the road had a bumper crop of Mulberries and Ma made a couple of quarts of ice cream!" he says as he walks into the meeting room a rustic tin container covered in frost and lidded with aluminum foil in his hand when his body stiffens and his head tilts.. "Di, I have an intruder at my fortress, mind being backup?"

Wonder Woman has posed:
Diana had been in the Hall of Justice in full armor and gear, there'd been press event earlier this morning where members of the Justice League, founders and trainees were to meet with the public and mingle / answer some questions and generally continue to fight off the idea that they're unapproachable super heroes.

But that was all wrapped up by the time that Superman was to come to meet with her, Diana is in the meeting hall with her dark blue robe on over her shoulders but her hands are out from the insides of the robe, holding onto a tablet computer she's reading something on its screen when she hears Clark/Kal's words which make her look over to him--at first with a smile at the ice cream but soon to drop to a more concerned look at the intruder part. "I would be happy to."

Diana signals an assistant also in the room to tend to the gifted treat while she moves to follow after Kal to provide support for this.

Phoenix has posed:
"And who, if you please, is the Master of this Fortress?" Jean asks curiously, her tone quite calm and unthreatening. She does adhere to the robot's request and lands where it indicates. "Are you allowed to detail what's hidden within this Fortress?" Jean asks, "does it hold a cosmic origin...? Anything to do with the Shi'ar Empire perhaps?" That would be her only inkling, considering the unnatural draw she felt.

Superman has posed:
"That information is classified, and not ours to give, only The Master will be able to answer your questions." comes the robotic voice of Kelex all three robots keeping infront of Jean as they float there, the air rippling under them as high tech repulsor lifts keep them afloat. "Did you come seeking The Fortress?" The robot asks mildly his social protocols trying to keep the silences from growing long or awkward.

Superman quickly leaves The Hall of Justice and quickly takes to the sky once he's up high enough to not cause any damage to the properties below he turns to the north and takes off going hypersonic near instantly the sound of his sonic boom heard clearly throughout Metropolis the cloud cover shredded as Superman produces a contrail of plasma from his sudden acceleration.

Wonder Woman has posed:
Diana moves to follow Superman, though she's only a small ways behind him as she'd gone outside and walked up the entry ramp into her personal jet. Two of her Amazonian sisters were already aboard the cloud-hued jet when it took to the sky and phased into being fully invisible, disappearing amongst the clouds. The jet's alien tech powered engines whine loudly in the air as it zips toward the location where she knows that Superman's fotress is, she'll arrive shortly after he himself.

Phoenix has posed:
"I didn't know there was a Fortress here, to be honest, I only knew something was calling me..." Jean tries to explain before sighing, "forget it, I will wait for your Master." She takes a step back, as if to make it a point she's not about to barge inside. While it's hard to make out Jean with all the swirling winds and snow, there is a faint fiery aura crackling around her body that might be spotted by the likes of Diana and Superman as they make their approach.

Superman has posed:
The sound of a shockwave can be heard as Superman comes to a stop above the Fortress the wind and snow obscuring him but his x-ray vision allowing him to see the robots and Jean Grey as he slowly floats down out of the sky, his body is steaming in the frigid air, snow as it hits him sizzling and evaporating instantly due to how hot his body got from the friction of his hypersonic travel from Metropolis. You were called to my home?" Superman asks having caught the last part of the conversation miles out through the wind. Landing a few feet away from Jean she might even feel the heat radiating off him like a blast furnace that's quickly cooling in the artic chill..

Wonder Woman has posed:
The invisible jet lands a top a ridge not too far away, though it wouldn't be easily noticed by the naked eye as anything more than a scattering of snow in a sudden blast of winds.

Moments later Diana is in the air and coming down toward where Superman was, her dark blue robe settles around her as she touches down on armored boots, the hood still up on her robe and her dark hair framing her face as she stares out at the woman near the Fortress. Diana hadn't ever met Jean Grey and wasn't aware of who she was, but she sensed something very peculiar about this young woman, a great deal of power perhaps or some sort of disturbance within her.

The Princess says nothing, she just stands beside Superman and watches/listens.

Phoenix has posed:
On an instinct Jean creates a telekinetic barrier over her head, not that any are likely to find out, as they'll need to hit to realize it's there. Just a self defense instinct reaction to Superman's hypersonic arrival and the gust in its wake. She does dissipates the force field fast enough and looks at him carefully. She knows who Superman is, not by direct knowledge, but he's kind of a big deal. Everybit as big a deal as the woman with him, Wonder Woman! Something was very odd for Jean Grey to run into two of the world's foremost heroes in the middle of nowhere.

"I had no idea this was your home, Superman..." Jean murmurs, a bit surprised at the company she finds herself with, "but I was pulled over here somehow...there's something inside that beckons me...it was an impulse gnawing at me until I started heading this way. I can't explain any further..."

Superman has posed:
Superman nods and turns his head to Kelex speaking the same language that the head robot used the first time it addressed Jean, the three robots replying in the same musical language before they're quietly being reasorbed into the nearest crystal pylon. "Well, I'm Superman, and This is Wonder woman. Might I have your name young lady?" he asks his piercing blue eyes once more studying the younger woman the focus of his eyes going further than the surface as he does a full Kryptonian senses scan of the woman.

Wonder Woman has posed:
Diana keeps her blue eyes on that of Jean and she listens to both the young woman and to Kal speak before she glances to her left to Superman and then back again to that of the redheaded firey woman. "How did you get this far out here, if I might ask?" Diana then questions, she would've introduced herself but Superman had that in order, so she may as well offer up a question to get a little more information out of Jean... she's still not convinced that this person isn't a threat to them however and since she stands there poised for action, its probably not hard to tell she's on her guard still.

Phoenix has posed:
Jean for her part tries to glean into the conversation Superman is having with the robots by trying to telepathically borrow the knowledge of the language from him. She's not looking to be invasive, just to avoid being at a disadvantage, as she introduces herself at his request, "I go by Phoenix," only fair, everyone here is costumed and on a codename basis. The name does seem to sit with that flickering fiery aura around Jean, no doubt keeping her from freezing in the arctic temperatures. "I've been in the arctic for a couple of weeks now...it's a long story, but I flew in this direction when I felt this odd draw. I am somehow beckoned over here..." for her part, Jean does nothing to appear a threat, though everyone has their own experiences and astute observations. It is unusual for anyone to just stumble by the Fortress.

Superman has posed:
Superman just studies Jean for a moment, her physiology is human, and he's not nearly capable of distinguishing differences in DNA. "Something about this called you here you say.." he says as he takes several steps away from Jean and Diana one ofthe hexagonal 'tiles' outside of The Fortress suddenly rising up into a podum that ends at waist height. Placing his hand on the surface of the crystal he speaks again in Kryptonese, something that those that know the language would parse out as a command for the fortress to 'decouple' "Lets go inside and see what might have called you.." he says as the various crystal spires jutting out of the ice start to make musical sounds their bodies starting to shrink and retract into the ground..

Wonder Woman has posed:
Diana stares at Jean with a very penetrating gaze, because she's studying the young woman's face. She recognizes her. "I know you." Diana says then as Kal starts toward the entrance of his solitude fortress. Diana follows after him, but her blue gaze remains on that of Jean's face, her dark hair gently flowing around her shoulders in the cold winds. "You work at Xavier's School." She says whilst moving with Superman. "One of your students has come to me for protection... a little girl in need of a lot more help than she's been getting from you and yours." She doesn't sound angry, but annoyed? Definitely.

Phoenix has posed:
Jean observes Superman curiously, but even as she's supposed to be astounded by the reaction of the crystals and the complex itself to his command, she looks somewhat amused. "This...seems familiar, though it shouldn't be," she notes, if only to better communicate her odd situation to the other two.

Jean's attention turns to Diana in seconds as she claims to know her, "you do?" Jean had certainly heard of Wonder Woman, but would never have expected for Wonder Woman to have heard of her. "That I do," Jean concurs with Diana's statement, before looking somewhat bewildered by the unexpected bit of news, "a student from Xavier's came to you for protection...?" She looks quite upset, wondering whether perhaps it was a mistake to leave Xavier's after all, "did she state a cause? I have been...away from the school," she motions at the area they're in as the obvious reason she's away. "As I mentioned to Superman, something drew me here, but it's mostly for the student's safety that I am here." It's only that last bit in the description that makes Jean realize completely who this is about. "Laura...and your statement isn't fair to say the least, if you've had any time to spend with her at all. No school is equipped to help a girl like her, and I've been doing the best I can...I've been looking after here even from here...at risk to myself. That's how much I care about her."

For a moment Jean looks upset, perhaps bitter, before suggesting, "you should keep an eye and you and yours every bit as much as you do on the girl, Laura had a very...harrowing...existance. She is unlike everyone else, especially her age. But I'm glad she has you...treat her well, and do protect her."

Superman has posed:
Superman lets the two women talk, starting to walk towards the near by Fortress it's shape starting to shift and change as crystal spires shrink in places others growing, all while small crystaline musiclike sounds echo through the air. "Why are you out here for their protection? Were your powers flaring up and becoming uncontrollable? I have read papers of secondary mutations sometimes occuring later in a mutant's life." he comments as an opening appears in the side of the fortress to show the insides of The Fortress, a statue of his parents holding up a globe of Krypton, the city of Kryptonopolis holographically projected under it in a reproduction of it's 'golden era'

Wonder Woman has posed:
Diana just gently dips her chin in regard to what Jean replies to her with. "You are quite right about that. I was meaning to come to the school, to seek you out, but more specifically to seek out the one she refers to as her father... a man named Logan. She said that he has all but ignored her and shunned her. And in her situation, that is the very last thing she needs now from the last parent she has alive."

The Themysciran princess keeps her robe held close around her shoulders, not that the cold will harm her but it doesn't mean she likes it. She looks to Superman then as he poses his question and she considers it a valid one as well, as she's quite curious about this Jean Grey now... finding the school's headmistress out here in the literal middle of no where, she's getting a worse and worse impression of this school that is supposedly out to 'protect' mutant children.

Phoenix has posed:
"Nothing of the sort..." Jean answers Superman's suggestion, before trying cautiously, "are you familiar with a plane of existence called: The Astral Plane?" A longshot to be sure, but he is Superman, who knows what he may or may not have encountered in his many adventures.

Her attention soon sways at Diana again, and for all the cool, calm, controlled exterior she displays, someone with Diana's divine perception, might actually take note there's a storm brewing inside of Jean at those words. "Logan. Did. What?" Jean sounds livid, though she still mostly appears calm, "the daft canucklehead....," for once she snorts out the word she usually tells others not to call him by. "If I could I'd go back just to slap him silly..." the news doesn't sit well with her at all, as she shakes her head, "I need to see Laura. But I can't until this is all over and I am safe to be around..." she takes a deep breath, and eventually notes, "Wonder Woman, you can't possibly begin to understand the depth of nuanced torture and suffering carried by both Logan and Laura..., it is perhaps best for someone who knows him to have that discussion with him. Unless, of course, he knows you?" Jean honestly wouldn't be surprised to learn something crazy like Logan fighting along with Wonder Woman in some ancient battle in history. "Just...look after Laura, tell her I didn't abandon her. I tried to explain it to her, but I think my astral projection just made her all the more nervous."

She tries to move on, walking in after Superman, only to freeze at the sight of the statue of his parents holding the globe of Krypton, going as far as to actually state, "Krypton...it's cycle has ended." Her voice sounds a bit off as she makes the statement, and the way she looks at the statue, there's some sense of familiarity and passivity at the same time. Almost as if for a moment she was a narrator, detached from the here and now.

Superman has posed:
Superman tilts his head at Jean. "You ok there?" he says, keeping out of the subject that Jean and Diana are discussing. Diana already has it under control, and he's sure she doesn't need him mucking things about. "Why don't you come stand over here, let the fortress give you a medical scan." he says walking over to where another podium rises out of the ground, a ring of metal rising out of the floor as if the crystal were made of liquid one side touching the ground as the other side rises about three feet to waist height.

Wonder Woman has posed:
It was a discussion for another time, ultimately, and Diana knows this. "Laura has come to the Themysciran Embassy in Manhattan to find a place that is more welcoming to her than she seems to believe your school is, at least at the present moment. You should find her there when you return, but... she is a free spirit and she may leave at a moment's notice. And no, I do not know this Logan... I hope there is more to him than what I have learned, as well."

With that said, Wonder Woman looks to Superman and then steps around where he is so that she's out of Jean's way of this podium and the process of medical scan that he's suggesting.

Phoenix has posed:
Jean turns to look at Superman, unfocused for a moment, and then seems to snap out of whatever reverie she was experiencing, "what?" She asks in confusion, before hearing that next part, and actually thinking it might not be a bad idea to let some alien tech give her a look over. She rather would like to know if her encounter with the Shadow King left any unexpected scars. "Let's have this scan..." she agrees and moves to where Superman indicates.

In the meantime, she looks at Wonder Woman, "I am sure there is much more to you, so likewise, there is much more to Logan, as there is to Laura, as there is to me...it's never good to jump into conclusions. I will have you know she was at the school because I would not send her away, and I have taken her under my wing...sadly, something happened, that something is called Shadow King...to explain it, I'll need to teach you about the Astral Plane, and I'm not sure we have time for that discussion at the moment..."

Superman has posed:
Superman touches the controls as Jean gets into the ring, it starting to rotate on it's edge like a coin spinning down, another musical chime starting to ring in the air like a metal rod being run across the rim of a glass bowl.

The diffuse light of the fortress dims lightly as more power is used by the medical scanner, words first start to talk in Kryptonese before it switches to english at a command from Superman. ".. Detected, accessing Krypton archeological files.." comes the faintly british sounding voice of Jor-El, a hologram coelesing beside Diana and Suuperman of an older beareded man obviously related to Kal-El if others don't know it to be a representation of his father. "Hello Jean." He says politely as he holds out one hand bringing forward another holographic projection of a great winged creature it's body writhing in flames. "Does this Icon look familiar to you?" he asks watching Jean with an intensity..

Wonder Woman has posed:
Diana gently nods hre head to Jean's words. "I will certainly agree with you on that." She replies to the other. "And you will have to forgive me if I seem a bit on edge as to the nature of this. Much of my time goes toward helping children and I found her in a very... less than ideal situation." But again Diana is purposefully vague as she watches Superman's technology here do its thing, her eyes go from the man who's summoned to that of the firey bird. Its then that Diana glances her blues eyes over toward Superman, because she cleraly doesn't fully grasp the reality of this medical scan or what these images are that they're all being presented with. There's much about Kal that even she still doesn't know as they've never really had a lot of time together to talk things over, the League has taken up a majority of their time since its creation.

Phoenix has posed:
Jean is taken by surprise at the manifestation of the hologram, having expected a medical scan, not some guided experience. "Hello," she answers, and points out, "you have me at a disadvantage, what do I call you?" A fair question when her name is so readily taken when she never offered it to anyone. She's sure it got it somehow, just not how. What's more concerning is an image straight from her dreams/nightmares, with the dancing flames from which the raptor is made causing her to murmur, "...embers..." repeating the way the Shadow King described the secret within her. "How do you know about this image?" She asks the hologram, though she offered no direct answer, it's rather clear she is quite familiar with it.

Even now, however, Jean maanges enough attention to tell Diana, "I will speak with you about her at length, gladly, at another time...as you might have gathered, it needs to be a great danger for me to withdraw from the school, rather than guide it...trust me, there is sufficent reason."

Superman has posed:
"I The Librarian." comes the holographic man's reply, "But you may address me as Jor-El." he says with a slight smile.. "She reminds me much of your grandmother Kal, she was a woman of crimson hair, and strong disposition." The hologram says almost as an aside to Superman.

Superman just sighs.. "Father, I am sure neither Diana, or Pheonix here would like to go into family history right now." he says with a put upon expression. "This Fortress of mine contains The Grand Repository, Krypton's total sum knowledge of the twenty-eight known galaxies" he explains to the two as he motions to Jean. "Can you please elaborate on the image?" he asks.

With a good humored smile Jor-El nods as mulitple images start to spring up in a quarter-sphere around Jean. "You're codename is Pheonix? I apologize my systems did a deep scan of the internet upon your entry into The fortress and I was able to discover a New York drivers lisence linked to your civilian identity." he apologizes to the woman before he goes back to the images.

"Phoenix is a rather appropriate moniker, my scans have identified an energy pattern that is not unknown to Krypton's distant history." he explains

"As with Terra, there was a time that the Kryptonian gods walked the land, Rao God of the Sun, Cythonna Goddess of Ice, Yuda, Goddess of the Moons, Telle, God of Wisdom, Mordo God of Strength, Lorra, Goddess of beauty and love, Vohc God of the forge and creation Nightwing, God of Shadows, and his starcrossed love, Flamebird, Goddess of Fire.." he says going into the history of the once dead planet. "But unlike the Terran gods, ours did not have their own vessles, when they would visit they would take hosts, sometimes cooperatively, other times forcibly if their need was great enough." he explains. 'You have in you an energy signature that has been linked to The Goddes of the Everburning flame." he says all the pictures that had been flowing punctuating his words vanishing to show the icon once more..

Wonder Woman has posed:
Diana can't help but let her eyes go from 'feather' to son, she is sizing them both up now and seeing the physical similarities where they are. She'd nodded to Jean, confirming that they'd finish their discussion later at a more opportune time... and then the explanations started to come from the manifestation.

While Jor spoke, Diana started to walk in a slow perimeter around it all to just take in the pictures and imagery while she listened to the sound of his pleasing voice. He had a calm wisdom to his voice and Diana felt comforted by it, she wondered if that was one of the reasons Superman would come up here, just to spend time with even this version of his father. Likely so, she would do the same if it was the only way she could see her mother.

"A ghost." Diana says quietly then, thinking back on something that Laura had told her. Her blue eyes go then to where Jean is, but she remains quiet otherwise, for now.

Phoenix has posed:
Jean takes note of the name, and looks to be marveled by how much this projection gleans about her. She's no way of knowing anything about Kal's grandmother, but how would a scanner surmise she was of strong disposition? It seemed a little bit too personal to be your run of the mil medical scanner.

"It used to be Marvel Girl," Jean elects to share with the hologram, "but since...returning, I've been set on using Phoenix, it was the only name that fit." Naturally, if she's elaborate more and offer the return was from death, perhaps the name would seem more appropriate, but there was hardly any need to share that tidbit with strangers. They might be the most famous heroes on the planet, Superman and Wonder Woman, but to Jean, still strangers.

As Jor-El goes into describing the gods of Krypton, Jean looks relatively calm, until he mentions the Flamebird, and her eyes seem to sparkle with a flame, rather than the normal green pupils she had moments before. "That is how the children of Krypton would call me..." she acknowledges, suddenly speaking as another, her voice somewhat regal in quality, before fading just as easily as it had come. Eyes, one more, quite normal and green, Jean looks at Jor-El with concern in her eyes, "a host...?" It seems the very first time she even thought of such a possibility, having always considered her powers were weirdly augumented in space, she never quite expected the possibility she was more than just Jean.

"Interesting..." Jean murmurs, as if having no awareness to what she said mere moments ago when her eyes seemed to turn to fire. "Jor-El, is that a malvolent or benevolent Goddess?" She just has to ask, that coupled with the Shadow King and the accident, has her concerned.

For a mere moment, Diana has Jean's attention over Jor-El, as she asks, "ghost?"

Superman has posed:
"As with all mythologies, that question is both long, and complicated." Jor-El says as the images vanish except for the burning icon. "In the beginning, when Rao had created Krypton, and the other gods, he tasked Vohc to build and create, to strive for greater and greater creations, and he tasked Flamebird to destroy those creations. This was not out of malevolence, but as a means to encourage Vohc to greater creations." Jor-El explains as he goes into the ancient history of Krypton. "Vohc could be concidered a muse, encouraging mortals for great leas of logic, and creativity, while Flamebird was in many ways a force of nature." he goes into further detail. "The records of the Kryptonian Age of Heroes is spotty to say the least, but it is written that Flamebird's hosts at times beasts, other times Kryptonian would display great feats of Telekinetic power, capable of destroying whole cities.." he finishes..

Wonder Woman has posed:
Diana's eyes level with that of Jean's when she asks. "Laura referred to you as a ghost." Diana says flatly then, not really elaborating any further on it for now as she knew there was a LOT to unpack here and apparently it was related to Miss Grey, quite a lot in fact.

Diana looks then to Kal and when she has a moment she speaks to him. "This Flamebird is affecting Miss Grey?" She asks then, prefering to ask Superman rather than the imaginary manifestation of Jor-El. Diana may be more technologically savvy than the average Themysciran... than her mother, but she was still from that island she still prefered to speak with a real person over an A.I. even if that A.I. was remarkably advanced.

Phoenix has posed:
It seems Jor-El does a well enough job of explaining the potential reason that Jean removed herself from the school for her, as Diana is there for his narration. "I see," is all that Jean manages, her brow furrowed in deep concern. Of course it was only a theory at best, at least that's what she believed at the moment, but it was a possibility.

When Diana explains the ghost quip, Jean nods, "I visited her to check on her...by means of an Astral Projection. I wanted to reassure her, instead, I likely scared her...it was foolish of me. But I wanted her to know she was not abandoned."

When Diana asks about the Flamebird, Jean answers, "that is not what concerns me, I am worried about something dangerous..."
