Cast of Characters: Ghost Rider (Blaze), Spider-Woman (Drew)

Ghost Rider (Blaze) has posed:
It was about mid-day. Johnny had decided to stay in today after his hellacious battle with the Hulk. Though, feeling the need and desire for company, he looks up the contacts on his cell phone and sees Jessica Drew's name on the list. So, he gives her a call.

"Hey Jess. Was wondering if you wanted to come by and have a beer or something with me. We can talk and have good conversations, ya know? Anyway, it's up to you. You know where I live." He smiles, and gives the address in case she forgot it.

Now? Now he waits. Sipping on his beer very softly.

Spider-Woman (Drew) has posed:
She could web over, but it's such hell on her hair. Jessica arrives in her motorcycle, roaring up to the garage in anything but a subtle manner. When she kicks the stand and steps off the bike in her black leather gear, she half-smiles at the familiar place, and walks right up, glad to have something new and different to do on a Saturday night.

Ghost Rider (Blaze) has posed:
Johnny was already there, seated next to his own heavily modified yamaha V-MAX bike. he's sipping on a beer and he offers her one of her own. "Hey there Jess. How you doin? Beer?" he offers her the drink as he smiles to her. Hey, he thought it was a good greeting!

Spider-Woman (Drew) has posed:
Beer is always a good greeting. "Hiya Johnny. How's the evening, eh?" She gives him a quick hug. "I was a little worried about how you'd fared in that mess at the mansion. Or lack...thereof." She smiles and cracks open her beer, lifting it to Johnny before taking a sip.

Ghost Rider (Blaze) has posed:
Johnny seems more than happy to give Jessica a hug with a small smile on his face. "So far so good. How bout you?" He soon releases her to drink her beer as he simply stands up straight, a hand in his jean pocket. "Nah. I'm good. Had a real friendly chat with the Hulk though." he sighs lightly. Jesus that thing can hit.

Spider-Woman (Drew) has posed:
"Banner?" Jessica looks surprised. "What happened there? Clearly...not a chat. How'd this happen?" Jessica's brow is furrowed. She isn't fond of the idea that these two are conflicted.

Ghost Rider (Blaze) has posed:
Honestly, who //wouldn't// be unhappy about this? Johnny rubs the back of his neck. "I was driving through the street and I saw a few people who were killed as a result of one of the Hulk's rampages. He didn't kill them directly...but the destruction that he caused did. It was an after-effect. So I hunted down Banner, whom I'd never met before and demanded to know where the Hulk was. Had a sneaky suspicion he was the hulk...found out the hard way. That harbor that got fucked up?"

He looks guilty.

     "Yeah, that was us."

Spider-Woman (Drew) has posed:
Jessica's face falls. "That...that was you two?" She sighs. "You're two bulls in a china shop, aren't you?" She shakes her head. "Johnny....what am I gonna do with you, hmm?"

Ghost Rider (Blaze) has posed:
At this point, her pheromones reaches his nose, but honestly, he was already crushing on Jessica a bit anyways. so...nothing new. "Well, could always let me take you out to dinner." he jokes but he nods. "Yeah, gave me a killer headache. Seems my other guy-" he references the Spirit of Vengeance "didn't feel like letting up either." he shrugs. "Don't worry though, we're both alive and fine."

Spider-Woman (Drew) has posed:
"I never doubted that, Johnny. You're one of the most resilient two people I've ever met." She grins and sighs. "I guess between the four of ya," she begins, referencing also Banner and the Hulk, "I guess a friendly conversation was just out of the question, huh?"

Ghost Rider (Blaze) has posed:
Johnny just chuckles. "Now you're just being nice." he winks at her and gives her a playful nudge with his shoulder. "Yeah....didn't even know. Shoulda did research before engaging buuut...you know me." he's reckless as hell.

Which is ironic.

But vengeance never sleeps. even Jessica would know that. But, he chuckles, sipping his drink.

Spider-Woman (Drew) has posed:
Jessica nods thoughtfully, giving a half smile when Johnny nudges her. "It has to be hard though, hmm? I mean...juggling two minds..." She traces the mouth of her beer with a fingertip. "I dunno how ya do it..." She takes another pull off her beer. "I have a hard enough time dealing with one."

Ghost Rider (Blaze) has posed:
Johnny shrugs. "You just kinda get used to it. Not so much a mind as it is another soul alltogether. But..at this point, we're so united I don't think anything can take the Spirit away from me but the Spirit itself. But we do good. We keep the scum off the world as best as we can so...what's there to complain about." he shrugs lightly, though he does offer Jessica the warmest of smiles. "I do it becuase well, why not?" he smiles, attempting to wrap an arm around Jessica's waist. "Need help figuring out the one?"

Spider-Woman (Drew) has posed:
Jess shifts a little. Johnny's in her bubble. She lets no one in her bubble. But she doesn't move away. "I dunno, I think I'm startin' to understand the one." She smiles and empties her beer. "I feel like there'll always be somethin' more to understand, no matter how much I figure out."

Ghost Rider (Blaze) has posed:
Well, she hasn't annihilated him yet, so this is a good thing? Johnny could never tell with ladies. After all, he's almost notoriously terrible with them (just ask Roxanne!) But, he keeps his arm around her waist as he looks her in the eyes, sipping his beer. "Of course there will be. The galaxy or universe or whatever is a big place. Always somethin' that we haven't found or don't understand. Think that's kinda the point...otehrwise life would be boring." he grins.

Spider-Woman (Drew) has posed:
"You're right. I guess it's one of the things I've been thinking about since that night the mansion disappeared. Life's so fleeting. There's so much I've never experienced. Never...never let in. Y'know?" Half the things on her mind, she can't even begin to think of how to put into words.

Ghost Rider (Blaze) has posed:
Johnny nods. "Yeah..." he sighs lightly. "I know." he turns to look at her then...and seems to get lost in her eyes. Uh oh!

Spider-Woman (Drew) has posed:
Jessica tenses, and she takes a deep breath. "I don't think you're thinking with a clear head right now, Johnny. You probably can't be. And that's my fault." She opens her eyes again, looking into Johnny's face, apologetically.

Ghost Rider (Blaze) has posed:
Johnny looks at Jessica with a small smile on his face, the Pheromones definitely got to him...but with or without the pheromones, his feelings are still the same. "I never think with a clear head." he turns more to face her. His arm still around her waist to perhaps press her closer to him if she allows, but it's not forced. "and yet...I feel like I'm in my right mind." he smiles to her then.

Spider-Woman (Drew) has posed:
Jessica breathes a laugh. "Well that makes one of us." She chews her lip thoughtfully. "I'm trying...to loosen up, to breathe. To tell myself that no matter how I try to make my mark, the world won't be broken."

Ghost Rider (Blaze) has posed:
Johnny smiles lightly to her, setting his beer down to focus on Jessica. "Well...maybe I can help you out with the loosening up part?" A little flirting, but he chuckles at her words. "Well, all actions help in putting a mark on the world, for better or worse. But you're right. the world isn't gonna shatter because you made your mark." he smiles then.

Spider-Woman (Drew) has posed:
Jessica blushes slightly and sighs. "I'm...I'm trying." She doesn't explain. Hopefully, he'll understand. She's not sure if she can admit it, herself. She's closed herself off for so long.

Ghost Rider (Blaze) has posed:
Johnny seems to notice her blush...but he says nothing else. His hand attempts to caress her face, as if to tell her that he understands her situation. Especially given his own situation and conditions. But, perhaps it's the pheromones speaking, or his own heart...but he starts to lean in, and attempt to give her a light kiss.

Spider-Woman (Drew) has posed:
Jessica flinches, just a little, when Johnny's lips brush hers, and she shrugs free of him, taking a step backward. "I think...I think we should postpone this for the moment. Give it a little time, Johnny. I should get going, and maybe I'll see ya again soon, yeah?" She smiles apologetically. "Sometime when I've got things....neutralized?" She looks back to her bike. "I'll see ya soon, ok? Don't be a stranger." It's abrupt, even for Jess. But it's necessary.

Ghost Rider (Blaze) has posed:
Johnny brushed his lips along Jessica's and he sees her flinch and escape his grasp. He wasn't really holding on tightly, so it takes her almost no effort to achieve. Though he seems to tilt his head, before he goes with it. He might have messed up. "Yeah, yeah...of course. Bit of a rush, isn't it?" Johnny rubs the back of his neck, often talking at the same time Jess is. "Yeah, I gotta fix up the bike anyway so...I'll see you soon?" he says right when Jess does. "Never am. likewise." he then leans against his bike when she turns around, taking a sight and probably facepalming himself.

Spider-Woman (Drew) has posed:
Jess pauses with her back to Johnny for a moment, and sighs deeply. She turns, and starts to say something, but instead she just smiles. "Thanks for inviting me over. I mean that...." Then she mounts her bike, which roars to life. She walks it back to turn it around, and with one last look, she rolls out of the driveway, and heads out into the night.

Ghost Rider (Blaze) has posed:
As soon as Jess turns around to look at him, Johnny has a wrench in hand as he looks at her with the warmest smile. "Anytime and anyday, Jess." he smiles softly to her, and watches her drive away. Well....that went well.
