Cast of Characters: Doctor Doom, Invisible Woman, Crystal

Doctor Doom has posed:
The sun shines brightly this summer's day.

On the east side of NYC, the estate for the Latverian embassy is decorated with fluttering banners sporting the nation's heraldic eagle. Fully-bloomed flowers, in bushes and assorted pots and hangings, cover the landscape.

Standing in front of the main entryway, under a lattice-work gate into which are woven multicolored silks and flowering vines, Victor von Doom--ever in his full-body armored suit--stands in wait, hands clapsed behind his back, and he is accompanied by a full complement of the embassy staff.

Why does Doom (who waits for no man), wait?

Why, today is the day he is to be visited by an Inhuman princess.

Invisible Woman has posed:
And it is another day out for Susan Storm-Richards with her daughter Valeria. Of course, as she walks, she keeps to the other side of the street from the Latverian Embassy. Especially after her last meeting with Victor.

Crystal has posed:
Its a rare day for Crystalia Amaquelin. She doesn't often get out her more regalia. Usually she is quite content to wear a yellow and blue suit designed for her day to day. Today, She is wearing a yellow dress, Its accented in black of course. White and yellow flowers line a sash which hangs across her torso with the words,Princess of Attilan emblazoned in blue. She carefully sets her tiara on her head as she looks herself over. Then its onto makeup. Gotta look her best after all.

Finally she is ready. She steps outside. Taking control of the wind she lifts herself up and flies her way to the Embassy. Landing Across the street from the Embassy, she gives a smile to Sue. "Hello!" She quickly gives her and Valeria a hug. "Good to see you. I am due at the Latverian Embassy. You know how it goes. I need to keep up appearances." She smiles. She has heard stories about Victor of course. Sadly she can't run off based on that. She is after all a Princess and has to act like it.

Doctor Doom has posed:
Doom spots the arrival of Crystal nearby--as well as the passing of Susan Richards. He exhales deeply and audibly.

His majordomo, an elderly Latverian named Boris, clears his throat. "My lord? Shall I escort her highness this way?"

After a long moment of silence, Doom shakes his head. "No," he says in a flat tone. "She is not to be prodded like cattle toward her destiny. We will be content to wait."

The servant's eyes are wide, his face an expression of shock. He quickly shakes his head, composing himself. "Of--of course, master. I meant no disrespect."

"I know, Boris," Doom replies. "One of the burdens of nobility is knowledge of courtesy and etiquette. You are a mere servant--why should you be expected to know better?"

"Thank you, my lord," the servant says quietly, hanging his head.

Invisible Woman has posed:
"You.....really have a meeting with King of third person over there?" Sue says with a snicker as Valeria gives Crystal a big hug, or a least a hug that's big to her. "Oh wait.....Princess of Attilan stuff, huh? Hmmmm..." She seems to think...before actually spotting Doom. "Hieeee, Mister Bucket-head!" Valeria says way too cheerfully. "Why do you always wear that armor? Are you a robot? Are you too good looking for the outside world? Do you have to wash your armor? Why does your faceplate have a scowl?"

Sue then stops her. "I don't think Victor wants to talk to us, Valeria."

Valeria then shrugs. "Kay. Auntie Crystal.....come home soon, kay? I'm gonna try and fix pizza."

Crystal has posed:
"Yes. You know how it goes. Gotta be the Princess." Crystal gives a million dollar smile to Sue and then, Valeria starts. Her hand flies up to her mouth and she covers it so she can snicker a little without being seen. "Well this visit just started well, I must say." SHe snickers just a little more.

I will be home soon. Maybe we can make some cheese sticks to go with it!" She pats Valeria on the head. "See you soon." Quietly she turns, collects herself and crosses the road.
