Cast of Characters: Psylocke, 207

Psylocke has posed:
Classes have just let out for the day at Xavier's School for the gifted. It is not like a traditional 8am-3pm school because of the fact that the students live here. As a result, classes generally end around lunch time with training and exercise for most of the afternoon, or other activities as the students see fit.

Elizabeth Braddock, AKA Psylocke, sits in her classroom peering through half-rimmed spectacles at papers she needs to grade for her English class. She currently taps the clicker end of a red pen against her lips. Her hair is put up in a pony-tail, but she wears a traditional teachers outfit. A grey skirt with a white blouse.

The door to her classroom is open.

David Akenda (207) has posed:
David's been rather insulated until the other day he had been avoiding going out side. To avoid being seen. But he had finally taken the first steps to actually enjoy being at the scene. The real issue is that David came back extremely fast. Almost in a panic. And while he wasn't hurt, he refused to talk about it. Still even though he's been doing his school work it's evident he has been distracted.

Finally he needs to talk to someone and teachers are to be trusted as he approaches Elizabeth, and not knowing who to turn to on this he will say. "I was at the edge of the School property down by the lake. And Well I was offered this." he says and he places a small card on Elizabeth's desk. One that is in arabic. The Card some assassins might know of as from the LEague of Assassins. "He introduced himself and apparently they had been following me since Culvert Utah."

Psylocke has posed:
Ms. Braddock does not look up when David enters the room, but she pauses suddenly, looking over the papers in her hand, scowling. She then looks over her glasses, like a librarian, at David, raising an eyebrow, "Hello, Mr. Akenda. Yes, my day has been fine, how about yours?" The sarcasm is thick in her voice, clearing communicating her displeasure of someone just barging into her classroom without pleasantries.

Elizabeth leans forward, without touching the card, while setting her red pen and papers down. She motions with a wave of her now free hand without looking at David, "Shut the door, Mr. Akenda. I'd rather not the whole school hear about this." She tilts her head, sniffing around the card, seeing if she can detect any contact poisons. She glances at David, looking to see if he exhibits any symptoms of being poisoned, "When did this happen, Mr. Akenda?" She asks, when he comes back to her desk.

She returns her attention to the card, motioning with another hand. The card starts to float up off the desk spinning around. She squints a little bit, forming a violet shield around the card, just in case there were any transmitters.

David Akenda (207) has posed:
As he does as he is told and he swallows hard and says taking off one of the rubber gloves he handled it with and turning it inside out he says. The card is thankfully clean, "I wasn't foolish enough to touch it with my bare hands. I'm rather flattered and extremely tempted that they consider me worthy of their ranks. But if they could track me here. The Kaji Clan won't be far behind, I couldn't simply leave."

As he thinks and says. "I was down at the Lake meditating, when I sensed something off in the area. When I heard a Japanese Song bird. Well he appeared and we had a talk. he was Jade Wren." he says discribing his attire and his manor. "I actually didn't feel scared of him." he says knowing the Kaji clan wants the pleasure of dealing with him himself.

Psylocke has posed:
Elizabeth focuses her violet eyes on David again, quirking her eyebrow, "And they came on academy property?" She works her jaw silently, irritating boiling inside her. She listens, however, instead of snapping, but is calm. She gently motions to a chair near her desk, "Please, have a seat, David," She says gently, her voice softening. She watches him closely, checking his vital signs from afar.

"Can you think of the event again, and think of the man you saw, for me?" Psylocke asks, tilting her head gently. The card still bobs in the air beside her.

David Akenda (207) has posed:
David Akenda nods and he says, "I am not 100% sure I was still on school propery and they came from a direction away fromt he main school but yes." and he closes his eyes and begins to clear his mind focusing on the thoughts of the man. The temptation to join their ranks is there, strongly but his honor to repay the school stayed his hand. He did not want the assassins after him to harm the students seeking him when he wasn't here anymore.

The image of an Ainu man with a series of curving black tattoos along the right side of his face, black circular blots on the cheeks and jaw, steps out of the treeline. He wears a fine purple suit, with a purple tie and a crisp white shirt below it. A jade pommel emerges from his left hip, a katana held inside a golden scabbard hanging behind him. His hair is grown long and braided into a quartet of ponytails, held behind him. A pair of sunglasses hides his eyes.

in his mind. He does his best to resist Fighting Elizabeth. But it was indeed on school property at the very edge.

Psylocke has posed:
Psylocke closes her eyes, and the faint image of the butterfly appears over her face. She quiets down significantly, and then finally opens her eyes, "All right, you can relax now." She crosses her ankles leaning forward over her desk.

"David, I can understand you really do want to join them, it means going on an adventure and seeing things that are, as we say, akin to your desires," Elizabeth begins softly, "And I know you want to get stronger to fight those who harmed you, but that man whom you just described works for R'as Al-Ghul, and as soon as you are no longer a use to him, he will dispose of you. A tool. A weapon. No more."

Psylocke scowls slightly, and watches David, "Is that all you want, David? Is to just be a tool?"

David Akenda (207) has posed:
"I have heard of the League in Japan. I know the dangers of dealing with them, part of my family history." He doesn't go into any more details of it and says. "No I don't want to simply be a tool. Or a weapon. The offer to become what they called an Angel, Shingami. Didn't appeal to me, I'm not ready to simply abadon what honor I have left to me." he says and leaning back. David Leans back and just exhales. "Oh why the hell couldn't I have been an outcast like every one else in the school? Don't answer that, it's rethorical."

Psylocke has posed:
Betsy leans her chin on her palm, smiling lazily at David, "Indeed. You're meant for far more than being some man-who-doesn't-know-when-to-die's tool." She glances at the card again, "Thank you for telling me this, David. Next time they try to approach you, I need you to do something for me." She stares very intently at David.

"When they approach you again, I need you to think as loudly as you can 'Fuzzy Elephant Feet,'" Betsy says, "I don't expect you to understand, but I will be listening for that thought, and I can with you in an instant." Her eyes flash a brief purple, "Because I have a few words for them of my own, and they will not be pretty ones."

David Akenda (207) has posed:
Nods as he says, "Of course. I didn't know who else to go to, and with your... History in mind." He says and then leans back. "Is it always like this here, for the students here?" He says with a smile and thinks. "No thank you for help and understanding. I don't think Scott would be very understanding as to why I waited as long as I did." he says.

Psylocke has posed:
"You could go to any of us David, especially," Her eyes bore into David, "/Mister/ Summers, especially. We all care for you." Betsy then softens her voice, "While you are here on your own choice, and we are grateful for that, there is a code of conduct here for the sake of the teaching environment. The teachers are not other students, and have knowledge to pass on, so we must respect the command structure."

Elizabeth shrugs, "Yes, he will be upset that you waited, but the important this is that you came to tell us. He will understand that."

David Akenda (207) has posed:
"Like I said I was very tempted. And spent the better part of yesterday battling myself over what to do. Well when next I see him I will make sure he knows, I would like to tell him personally. If that is possible at all here. I know you will have to make a report on this." Violating school property for this the League doesn't respect many if any boundries.

"You don't think the League would actually lead the Kaji clan here directly do you?"

Psylocke has posed:
"No," Betsy says, and then almost follows it up with 'because I would murder every last one of them even their families,' but decides that is probably not the best thing to say to a student. Psylocke rolls her wrists calmly, "That would be stupid of them to do so, and Ra's is smarter than that."

David Akenda (207) has posed:
"I didn't think that they would be willing to expose me to the Kaji clan. Because the moment I learned of it, even thought accident, or Remotely suspected it was true. I would like to think he would have a fairly difficult problem to deal with. Not that he wouldn't be prepared for it."

REalizing what he said, and he swallows. "I don't mean to sound like I think he is foolish or ill prepared."

Psylocke has posed:
"It's quite all right," Psylocke replies, then glancing at the clock, "Is there anything else? I have a tutoring session in about ten minutes."

David Akenda (207) has posed:
Shaking his head he says. "No nothing else. Thank you for the talk. I assume you will keep the card?" he sats standing up to Bow in respect.

Psylocke has posed:
"Yes, I shall keep the card," Betsy says, because she is going to make a call on her own. Then she nods to her student, returning back to grading papers.
