Iron Man has posed:
JARVIS declares politely, "Ms. Potts, incoming transmission from Mr. Stark," he warns her. She has a little while to straighten up or give an exhasperated sigh before her boss will be staring at her from the viewscreen to the left in her office.

"Pepper," Tony addresses her through the communication system. He's clearly in his own office, draped in his giant expensive chair, feet up out of panel, and spinning some sunglasses by one of the ear-pieces in the fingers of his left hand. He's in a suit, immaculately dressed as normal, from some pending meetings coming up.

"Schedule a meeting with Psylocke of the X-Men. We've got new information from our favorite wizard to pass along. I don't like being the messenger, but I don't resent being the guy that knows everything," Tony comments. "If necessary, schedule her for a time when you can meet with her, I'll give you the file, if I'm too busy. You'll like her, I think."

Pepper Potts has posed:
"Psylocke, ah. Sure thing, I can do that." Pepper jots something down on a note pad with her pen, and turns to her computer, opening a file and entering in notes that, in all likelihood have everything to do with what she just scribbled. She furrows her brow just a little, in reading through her X-Men updates. "I can uh...only assume you mean Stephen Strange, and not one 'Harry Potter' the Xavier's Mansion ninja." She breathes a laugh and shakes her head. "Never a dull moment at that place, is there?" Like she's one to talk. "I could say the same of the Avenger's Mansion if y'know...we knew where exactly it was nowadays..." She enters in the rest of her notes and looks back up to the screen. "What exactly are we needing to meet with Psylocke in regards to? What have you learned from Strange?"

Iron Man has posed:
"I don't even /know/ what sorts of students they have in the mansion. I'm safely staying to keeping track of Avenger adults," Tony replies, rolling his eyes upwards, smile amused. "And my robotics. They're close enough to children, except they listen. Well, to me. Mostly."

"We do know where the mansion is," Tony 'defends'. "We're just not prioritizing it. Nobody's dying out there. People are dying here. Or at least in living nightmares, which might be worse." Tony tosses the glasses onto his desk with a soft clatter. "We need to know what she's doing on the astral plane, and inform her about these infinite-power stones, which Dr. Strange suspects is in the possession of this big nasty. We know that it means the monster has to have a physical body. Maybe it means something to /her/, and we can get a little further on hunting for the physical side of things."

Pepper Potts has posed:
Pepper nods thoughtfully, and considers for a moment before returning to her keyboard and tappity-ing in a few more notes. "Well, I can only hope that it means something to her, if she's flying Astral Airlines, these days. The skies are gettin' more dangerous by the day, seems like." She saves her notes and turns back to the screen. "And how are /you/ doing with all of this? Everything okay? Not stressing yourself out, I hope. It doesn't help anyone for you to stress. Least of all, yourself."

Iron Man has posed:
"What? I'm great," Tony says, though he's spun his chair around, so she'll see mostly the back and far side of his head, as he's turned to face the window, looking out of it. His eyes are a little narrowed, as his attention is somewhere else, in addition to talking to her. "I don't, say, ENJOY starting projects over that I had in the mansion, but I have all the scheomatics and designs backed up in eight ways. I have the autobuilder recreating the thing now, just a matter of waiting. Deciding what color to paint it," Tony remarks with a little smile to the side of angular goatee.

Pepper Potts has posed:
"All right, fair enough, I suppose." Pepper narrows her eyes, too, watching Tony. Or what she can see of him. "I'll definitely get something scheduled. Preferably with you there, as well. But if not, then I'll handle it. The sooner we can get this brought to an end, the better. And maybe...maybe we can get the mansion back? If we know where it is." Maybe. It's fine for now, apparently. Not like it's gonna blow up or anything.

Iron Man has posed:
"It'll be fine. Or we rebuild. We always do," Tony says, with his usual easy confidence. It's comfortable to just relax, perhaps, into his assured manner. He'll make everything work out. He spins the chair back around, looking towards the monitor that houses her face, and winks at her. "Meanwhile I'm here more," he teases. And then winces, "For meetings. We have a four-o'clock thing that wasn't rescheduled, don't we?" Tony says, leaning back, but prodding his keypad with a few fingers to bring up the information he seeks.

Pepper Potts has posed:
"That we do, Mr. Stark," Pepper replies with a bright smile. "I've got all the paperwork files together, and I'll bring them with me. The rest are linked to an email I just sent you. All you have to do is show up and be the belle of the ball." She winks, too, and starts gathering file folders from the corner of her desk. "I'll meet you there, shall I? I'll expect you at...Hm, 4:08?" she teases. Because of /course/ he'll be fashionably late.

Iron Man has posed:
"I'll see if I can bring it up to 4:07 for you, honey," Tony says, returning her 'Mr. Stark' use with a flippant reply of his own. His laugh is cut off with a gesture of hand that indicated for JARVIS to close the connection; the last image was of him starting to pivot back towards the window. It might well be 4:17, when his attention flows elsewhere like this. But his priorities aren't in a bad place: protecting the city is a priority in a lot of ways.
