Child Abuse is Bad!
Date of Scene: 11 October 2018
Location: Gotham City
Synopsis: Summary needed
Cast of Characters: Amarok, Batman, Robin (Wayne)

Amarok has posed:
It's another cold rainy night in Gotham, the rain matching the blare of sirens as they rush to yet another crime scene, whilst Amarok does just the opposite, retreating from said scene onto the rooftops, smattered with the blood of the now broken and helpless wiseguys of the night left strewn about the desolate alleyway. Amarok himself is currently wanted by the police, for assaulting an officer, kidnapping a man from his hospital bed, kidnapping and assaulting a minor, and wanted for questioning in at least one murder....

Batman has posed:
"Robin, I've got the rooftops. Take manual control of the Batwing and intersect. Attack pattern V-82."
Behind the eyepieces of his cowl, the rain and darkness is filtered out to allow for a crisp and clear view. Already, the Heads-Up Display traces a digital outline of Amarok and paints it a vivid red against the otherwise muted green. Not only tracking his movement, but keeping him flagged in their shared communication network as 'hostile.'
Batman drops down onto one of the lower rooftops, still several buildings behind, and begins to sprint. He's making no effort to hide himself, instead he's putting all his might into running as swiftly as he can. Over the comms, he speaks in a measured tone that barely belies the fact that he's exerting himself in this way.
    "Eyes on the target."

Robin (Wayne) has posed:
Taking control of the Batwing, Damian begins his runs of the area. "What do you do with him when you find him?"

The black air vehicle uses FLIR to cut through the rain and darkness to search for Amarok. "He's a Titan..."

Amarok has posed:
Amarok pauses for a moment as Batwing begins it's run, looking up and scanning the skies. After a few seconds, he shrugs it off and climbs up on top of a doorway slant, seating himself on the edge of it whilst taking out a knife to casually toss up and down whilst waiting to see who's pursuing him, head slowly turning back and forth to scan the dark rooftop.

Batman has posed:
"Titan or not," Batman answers over the comms, slowing his pace when he realises he can now catch up by walking, "He's wanted by the police. Being a Titan doesn't give him carte blanche to do what he pleases. I'm about to engage - if you want to get out here and take the lead, he might be more willing to talk to you."
At that, the Dark Knight cuts off the comms and stops several meters away from Amarok. The wind and the rain whips his cape about behind him, and his mouth is a stern, thin, and frowning line. He doesn't say anything for now. His presence enough to suggest why he's here.

Robin (Wayne) has posed:
Damian orders the Batwing to hover above the area. A trap door retracts and allows for Robin to disengage the magnetic harness keeping him secure, and he drops down.

Once he gets into range he activates his cape, the fabric going rigid and slowing his descent enough to land gently. "Amarok." He calls out to Dan, his hood raised allowing for only a scant view of his features.

Amarok has posed:
Amarok simply stares Batman down for several seconds when he makes his arrival, continuing to toss the knife. Then, he hops down, still maintaining his tossing, ".....I suppose you want something, right?" He asks monotonally. And then Damian makes his entrance, and Amarok's gaze snaps to him like the wolf his helmet resembles as he catches the blade and holds it. He holds perfectly still a few more seconds, then slips the blade into it's sheath and turns away from Batman in full, taking a few steps towards Damian, ".....Need something?" He asks in the same monotone, his posture subtly stiffening like a soldier when their CO enters the room.

Batman has posed:
The Batman says nothing for the time being, instead letting Robin take the lead. There's a relationship there that he is, himself, not privy to. His go-to solution may be to simply start punching the man until he was unconscious enough to be arrested, but it is perhaps a testament to his respect for Damian's leadership of the Titans that prompts him not to. All the same, he remains nearby and everything about his body language suggests he is a hair's breadth away from moving in to subdue.

Robin (Wayne) has posed:
Damian approaches Amarok with a stern look on his face. "Assault on a GCPD officer, kidnapping: two counts, one of a minor. Also wanted as a person of interest in one confirmed murder. What the fuck has been going on?" Damian doesn't condemn, more is trying to find out what is going on.

Amarok has posed:
Amarok tilts his head like a slasher movie villain a few times while Damian runs down the charges, then pauses as he comes to the end, ".....You forgot about the blown up hospital room." He simply says matter of factly, like it's no big deal. A sudden burst of static breaks out from Amarok's helmet, probably a sigh given the slight deflation in his stance, and he reaches down to a larger pouch on his belt, pulling out a black and red mask, "......You probably heard about the crime lord Joe Darantine's house being blown up last week, right?" He doesn't pause to wait for confirmation, "He survived it. So, I went to find out to interrogate him at the hospital. While I was questioning him, a ninja he later identified as being from something called 'The Foot Clan' attacked. When I was getting ready to fend her off, the officer burst into the room and pulled a gun on me. So, I shot him." He casually pulls the shotgun from it's holster at his leg and opens it up, taking a shell from the top pair of barrels, and tossing it to Damian, "A pair of those. Riot suppressent. Turns out that probly saved his life. A pair of Joe's men came in after and started shooting, almost right away one caught a claw through the eye. Probly died before he hit the floor. If I had to guess, the grenade probly killed the other one. The cop was blown out of the room back into the hall when I shot him, so I'd guess he got away with cracked ribs and possibly a concussion. When the ninja threw the explosive, I grabbed Joe and leapt out the window with him before it went off."

Batman has posed:
"The Foot Clan," Batman offers, his tone still menacing although a little less inclined towards violence as before, "I'm familiar. They're running some sort of racket out of the Gotham Zoo, and appear to be involved with Ivy. Now this. Whoever's calling the shots is making a play for Gotham."
It is said in part for Damian's benefit, and partly to put his thoughts together out loud. He now glances sidelong at Amarok. The talk of guns get a noticable scowl from the Bat, but he says nothing about that outright.
The list of charges is a black mark, certainly, but he's not about to chastise the man for assaulting a police officer to save his life. People in glass houses, after all.

Robin (Wayne) has posed:
Damian's words come easily, but he was never hard to make his thoughts known. "Present evidence to the GCPD, or else they are going to keep after you. And it won't end well for anyone."

When Robin lowers his hood, he looks to Batman behind him. "Can you smooth this over with the GCPD? Clearly this isn't a case of a rogue meta human. If it was, there would be more bodies."

Amarok has posed:
Amarok turns his head a bit and nods towards Batman, "That's what Joe told me. According to him, they're attempting muscle out every family in Gotham, killing that resist. Hence the attempts on him." He monotones back to the Bat. He then turns back to Damian and continues to monotone to him, "I did. They added another kidnapping and assault to the list." He says as he tosses Damian the black and red mask, "This is from the ninja that tried to kill Joe. She was some kid, wouldn't talk. So I left her chained up outside of the GCPD after taking her mask and wristblades...."

Batman has posed:
"I can talk to Gordon," Batman ventures, looking at the mask in silence for a moment before turning back to Amarok, "But they're not just going to look the other way. You'll need to get out of Gotham for a time. Stay off their radar. I doubt they'll close the case but they might let it go cold with enough pressure."
The Dark Knight's eyes narrow, "That said, I'm taking a lot on faith here. If Robin vouches for you, then I'll take his word. But if his trust turns out to be misplaced, I'll bring you in myself."

Robin (Wayne) has posed:
Robin looks to the mask as well. "Agreed. Don't make me regret it." The last sentence pointed to Amarok.

Damian with the Bat is a bit different than when he is with the Titans. "This isn't the League. If you want to operate in Gotham, we play by rules, bend some, break a few."

Amarok has posed:
Amarok turns his head back over his shoulder to Batman again, "I'm not going anywhere." He says flatly before turning and walking to the building's edge, looking out of the rainwashed lights of Gotham, his blood spattered armor glinting in the foggy lights of the city as the rain washes the night's events from his plating "......But if makes you feel better....They'll never see me coming." He pauses before turning back to the pair, "....Now, if there's nothing else, the city never sleeps...."

Batman has posed:
The Bat moves swiftly, getting in Amarok's personal space with his teeth bared: "You're getting a chance. That's a rare gift I don't often give. You may think you're untouchable. That you can't feel pain. That you can't be stopped. If you lay another /finger/ on a GCPD officer. If you put another hair out of place. You'll find out how very, /very/ wrong you are. I suggest you take advantage of Robin's largesse while you have it. Mine is in /infinitely/ shorter supply."
That said, he steps past Amarok and without another word drops down off the edge of the building and out of sight. He offers no right of reply. He simply disappears back on patrol, leaving the pair of Titans alone for the moment.

Robin (Wayne) has posed:
As Robin is left with Amarok, Damian looks back to Dan. "The Detective is correct. And you know just how much he is capable of. Heed his ultimatum."

Damian reaches up and grapples onto the Batwing, zipping into the cockpit and flying off to dock the plane where it belongs.
