Synopsis: Summary needed
Cast of Characters: Kid, Mercy Thompson

Kid has posed:
With a few week gone by since all the craziness this world has in it has slowed, Kid has slowly been gathering parts. A muffler here, some nitro there, a tire or two somewhere else. Building a car wasn't easy, especially when it mostly from scratch, but it was fun! Which is what brought him to Mercy's Garage. Word on the street says she often has good parts....and the area looked not overly secure. So he figured why not!

He decided to strike at night. An almost full moon was out, and wind blow. Stars could hardly been seen with the cities night, but it matter little as people none the less have mostly gone home to avoid nights chilling bite. But it didn't bother him none, thanks to his fur. Despite looking like a (mutant) teen human, he smelled of something inhuman.

Regardless, he does what he always does first, scope out the scene, see what may be the easiest way to get to the goods. He peers, checking for lights, listening for movement, or anything else of the kind trying to determine if he should go in.

Mercy Thompson has posed:
The usual ghost light is on in the garage and office, and lights are on in the apartment upstairs. There's some movement up there, a shape against the shades, unhurried, just Mercy going about the evening.

Kid has posed:
Kid glances upwards at the ghost light...and than the apartment. More often than not he finds the owners of a shop do not live near their place of work. So not a red light - ghost light, common enough with the city. He may as well go for it.
Kid despite his bulk was a fairly silent fella. He makes his way over to the front door. Bending down, he begins picking the lock carefully and...*CLICK* the door is unlocked. He makes his way in an closes the door behind him. So far, so good, save for perhaps bumping into a lamp stand and knocking it over. Which cause him to wince...and listen for anything to worry about.

Mercy Thompson has posed:
The alarm dinged on Mercy's phone when the front door opened. Then there's teh clatter of the lamp stand being knocked over downstairs. "You have got to be kidding me," she mutters to herself." She moves for the stairs down, not making any effort at quiet...quite the reverse actually, her footsteps are fast and easily heard down stairs in the garage.

Kid has posed:
Kid gets this 'oh great' look on his face. Well he wasn't about to leave here WITHOUT the part he needs. And this may be a good time for a meal anyways. He flings open the door to the front door AND the door to the garage. Moving quickly but stealthly as he can...he takes cover behind a car that been left over night.

Mercy Thompson has posed:
THe lights go on when Mercy gets to the garage, hitting the switch by the door upstairs. She looks straight at the car he's behind. "I know you're back there," she says. "You might as well come out. And try not to step in the oil slick there, the Opel leaks like a seive."

Kid has posed:
He closes his eyes thinking 'Shoot' to himself. Well sounds like she a fighter rather than a runner, might be in his favor actually, if they don't run he don't gotta chase! He stands up comming out from behind the car...and looks down at Mercy. He has top keep himself from bursting out laughing at realizing how...small she actually is!

Mercy Thompson has posed:
Mercy's also injured, her left arm in a somewhat complicated sling. SHe doesn't look afraid though....she's faced down werewolves in a snit before. Of course no one's accused her of being sensible in a long time either. "How'd you fit back there anyway?" she asks when she sees how big he is. The size was unexpected. "And what in the world are you after? There's nothing back here worth stealing 'cept maybe my torque wrenches."

Kid has posed:
Injured too! Haha! This is all stacking well for Kid. His eyes almost seem to light up. But he wasn't much for answering...he'll answer the questions first. Well more or less. He spreads his hands apart as if to say Big space...and than brings them togeather as if to mean small. He than bangs on the hood of the car quite excitedly before looking at Mercy, seeing if she got the idea. He has a rather confident expression.

Mercy Thompson has posed:
Mercy's usually good at charades but tonight they go right past her. "If you're looking for car parts I'm happy to sell. I'm not really in the mood to fight over them though."

Kid has posed:
Well she got the last part at least! Kid looks Mercy up and down...he didn't have money, which he shows when he empties his pockets - nothing. The teen was flat out broke. He gestures to her, making a running gesture on his palm, point to mercy, and pointing up back to her apart.

Mercy Thompson has posed:
"I'll take work in trade," Mercy says. "You'll have a much easier time doing the clutch I'm supposed to be working on tomorrow." She shows zero sign of running. Her body language is relaxed, confident. "If you're after a fight, it's certainly not going to be a fair one."

Kid has posed:
The last sentence get's a rise out of Kid, he more or less has an aura of aggression about him...and the idea of getting into a fight was something he liked. He was begining to crack his knuckles...untill it hits him

This girl was willing to let him work in trade for parts? That gives him pause as he considers it...and than he is eyeing Mercy. What kind of person just offers (basicly) a job to a teen trying to rob em?

A bit more back and forth...and than he is nodding in acceptance. And than his stomech growls and he let out a visible and very annoyed groan as he glares at his stomech as if to say 'NOW. Really?' he becomes visibly more agitated.

Mercy Thompson has posed:
Mercy Thompson hears the stomach rumble. She rolls her eyes. "Figures...starving too, Well, I suppose we start with the wages. Shut the doors," She waves with her good hand toward the big garage door he'd opened. "You're letting in the cold. I've got pasta upstairs, I'll bring you some down and we'll talk about this." She turns and heads for the stairs, trusting he'll do what she said apparently.

Kid has posed:
Kid slams his hand down on the car, quite loudly to get her attention after she turns around. He is shaking his head vigorously. He lifts his hand where there is a watch....he begins messing with it and flinches as it sparks. He looks quite annoyed before looking at Mercy.
He signs as if writing on something...before looking at her to see if she got the idea of that one....but beyound that small outburst, he does shut the doors.

Mercy Thompson has posed:
"Don't dent it," Mercy asks. "I'll get you a pad and a pen..." she does so, detouring from the apartment stairs to the office, and coming back with a yellow legal pad and a pen. "Here.." she hands them over. "Mute," she asks, curious.

Kid has posed:
Kid writes "...I just do not like to talk" selective mute it seems, rather than a true mute. Selective muteism can occure for any number of reasons. Regardless he writes "Anyways, do not bother with the Pasta. I can feed myself...thanks though" he was still eyeing her warily, suspiciouse it seems.

Mercy Thompson has posed:
Mercy ohs and shrugs. "Sure. So...what -are- you after anyway? I could use some help here," she admits. "it's going to sure hurt trying to pull a transmission with a bad arm."

Kid has posed:
Kid writes "What I am NOT after. I am building an entire car from scratch!" he claims "More or less. I can pull a transmission, hell I can pull a whole engine. Take it apart see how it ticks" he definintly liked tech it seems. This was quite a familiar sensation to him. He hasn't done something like this since....he visibly shudders and shakes his head and write "Got most of an engine, axel, tires, tranmission is the last part I think." feeling quite comfortable...one moment he was a mutant teen...the next moment the illusion fades as there was a gorilla there.

Mercy Thompson has posed:
"Ahh. I see." Mercy hmmms. "Well. Hmmm. sounds like you know what you're doing. How about you get parts at a rate of twenty dollars worth an hour? I can't really afford better'n that. You can use the shop after hours to work on your project if you want, though."

Kid has posed:
He writes down "It alot easier than dealing with people. Pa taught me alot of it, the rest I picked up on my own" Kid hmmms "...umm...sure." there a distinct sense he doesn't really know the valley of the parts or money. And a place to work on it? This was golden. He write down "...got my own tools too if your worried about that. Though when would I need to be here, I gottahings I gotta do" he writes

Mercy Thompson has posed:
Mercy looks up from what he wrote and nods, frowing thoughtfully. "Hmmm. Well, I'm usually open 8 to 5. But I'd say work the hours you can. Obviously the more hours you work the sooner I'll be able to get you your parts. Can you work tomorrow? That'd seriously help a lot."

Kid has posed:
"Sure. I can pop in most days really. Some longer than others." he writes down "And once I get my watch fixed, speaking won't be a problem either, though I can use a notepad just fine" he notes. Kid scratches his belly...and only than realises his illusion is down. Most folks freak out to one degree or another...but not Mercy. He was liking her already "What's your name anyways Boss?"

Mercy Thompson has posed:
"Oh...Sorry." She looks up and offers a hand. "Mercedes Thompson," she introduces herself. "Mercy for short. What's your name?" She'd looked briefly surprised when the illusion dropped, but not much reaction beyond that. "And what's your story? I don't see a lot of gorillas building cars."

Kid has posed:
Kid eyes the hand...and shakes it in his oversized one. He writes down "...Jua. But I just go by Kid." He gives pause at the question and writes "Let be honest, folks do not see gorillas at all more or less. Not many has come over." he wasn't sure what to tell her... and goes with the most recent events "Anyways...more or less drafted into maybe becomming a rep or some crap. Before than and even now I spend my time on the streets."

Mercy Thompson has posed:
Mercy laughs a little, "Hey, this is New York City...the only thing wierd would be not seeing something different every day and twice on Sunday." She winces as she moves her shoulder wrong. "Ow. I should get back upstairs and get some sleep. See you tomorrow?"

Kid has posed:
"Aye. Sleep well. Also ignore any cries of pain, begging or terror you might hear" Kid writes. He resumes his illusion once more. It hard to tell if he was serious about that or not. But he was also smiling at the thought of comming back!
