Cast of Characters: She-Hulk, Invisible Woman

She-Hulk has posed:
It's two days past Halloween, which means that She-Hulk is two days past having to clobber the idiots who show up to make trouble on Halloween. Seriously, it's like every wannabe mystic moron decides this is their chance to Rule The World.

Thankfully, now it's time to get back to having a life again. And right now, that means paying a visit to one of the few people in her life young enough to really enjoy Halloween. Well, and the extended family. Jen arrives at Four Freedoms Plaza with one of those archetypal little orange plastic Jack-O-Lantern buckets that kids use to Trick or Treat in hand, and goes through the requisite security protocols to head up.

Invisible Woman has posed:
"AUNTIE YENNIFER!" Is the only warning Jen gets before her lower leg gains a very sudden 65 pound weight upon it. Valeria is giving Jen a very hard, for her, hug upon her leg before she lets the leg go. "Hi Auntie Yennifer!" She says as she bounces on her feet. Apparently very happy to see her.

As if summoned by the loud call, Sue peeks around the corner and grins. "Hey Jen. Valeria seems to have found you first. You're not allowed to have any candy yet, Valeria, if Jen lets you have any." She then looks up to Jen. "Would you like something to drink? Eat?" Then Valeria perks up.... "I can make some green tea!"

She-Hulk has posed:
Sixty-five pounds may as well be sixty-five grams for the jade giantess. She grins and leand down to make a quick hug to the little girl if she can, before looking back up. "I had some candy for trick-or-treaters at my office. Not all of it went out, so I thought that the best niece in the world ought to get some." She offers the little bucket to Valeria, trusting her to be a good girl and not eat it till mom says okay. "That sounds great, kiddo."

Sue gets a look a moment later. "And here I figured there'd be twenty different alarms and notices when someone came into this building. How you doing, Sue?" she says, warmly, and walking over to offer mom a hug now that daughter got hers.

Invisible Woman has posed:
"I can't have any yet, since I'm helping mommy fix dinner." Valeria says taking the candy and putting it somewhere. "Kay! I'll go fix some!" And away she trots.

Sue laughs a bit as Valeria wanders off, and she gives Jen a hug. "Nah. Herbie knows who you are, Jen, so you're actually allowed in. Your room is likely being updated in anticipation of staying for a bit. I'm doing fine I actually got Reed out of the lab too. Also, did you know T'challa came by? Wanted Reed to upgrade his necklace. He also seemed surprised at Valeria's full name. Was almost like he expected Doom to be fully evil instead of actually having some good in him."

She-Hulk has posed:
Jen chuckles. "I'm not here for a stay; just for a visit. We're in the work week, and some of us girls have to grind." She releases the shorter blonde from the hug, and looks a little surprised. "Takes a lot to get him out of Wakanda these days. I'm surprised he needed the tech help."

She looks over in the direction Valeria disappeared. "She's going to have plenty of preconceptions to overcome with that name. You know that. I guess the earlier she gets some practice with it, the better."

Invisible Woman has posed:
"Yeah I know. I figure if I can guide her down a more natural and helpful path, the 'Von Doom' part of her name won't matter. And it surprised me too. I thought Shuri, his sister, would be more of a tech wiz, but it must be important if he wants Reed to work on it." She then shrugs. "I know of the weekly grind, Jen. but I'm also not a lawyer."

She-Hulk has posed:
"She's a good kid. But she'll have it rough. Have you decided if you're going to send her off to normal school?" Jen asks. "I realize she's crazy smart, but the social side of it could be handy." She gives a final shrug on T'Challa...who can say, after all? "Sorry if the candy is breaking mom law. But aunties get a few perks, like spoiling." She grins.

Invisible Woman has posed:
Sue chuckles. "it's okay. She's allowed one after dinner, so she can sleep." She then sighs. "Reed and I are figuring that out. It's a matter of heading off Johnny to make sure he doesn't sign her up to a school that she'll be an outcast."

She-Hulk has posed:
"Johnny can be impulsive, but I'm sure he's not going to do anything that's bad for her." Jen says, before her lips quirk in a smile. "And I'm equally sure you wouldn't let him. You just have to keep your brother on short reins sometimes. She's a smart girl. She'll figure it out, one way or the other."

Invisible Woman has posed:
"I know. I mean, she even charmed one of T'challa's guards into helping mer make cookies. Then gave T'challa a mouse toy." Sue chuckles. "well, Johnny's not deciding Valeria's future, Reed and I are. Victor occasionally tries to help out, but I tell him that since he's the ruler of latveria, he can't really decide on Valeria's life as a father."

She-Hulk has posed:
That gets a snicker. "A mouse toy, huh? Either that was a great accident, or she's getting started on her snark early." The latter statement, though, causes a frown. "Trying to block him out completely may cause trouble down the line. Doom's not one to take no for an answer."

Invisible Woman has posed:
"Not usually, but he knows I'm looking after Valeria first, and not Doom's ego, which seems to placate him. He cares very much for Valeria. I think he cares for me as well, but his rage seems to be against Reed....not the rest of us." Sue rubs the back of her neck. "I think he even tried to convince me to leave Reed....."

She-Hulk has posed:
"Color me not-surprised." Jen states, and looks down to her legs, then smirks. "Which is apparently green. Doom's had issues with Reed for forever. Issues, and back issues, and a /lovely/ four-color omnibus. And I'm sure that more than a few of them are tied up with you. I swear, we need to just get both of them in a room with power suppressors, and tell them not to come out till they get over their crap."

Invisible Woman has posed:
"I think it has something to do with Reed saying something about his science project being unstable, and Doom telling Reed to shove off or something, then Doom's experiment exploded and Doom blame's Reed." Sue then shrugs...just as Valeria returns with Jen's tea. "Here ya go, Auntie Yennifer!" Sue chuckles a bit. "Good luck with the power suppressors though."

She-Hulk has posed:
"Hey, I'm not the supergenius around these parts. She-Hulk smash!" Jen says, sarcastically, before smiling over. "Thanks, little bit." She leans down to take the offered tea, and takes a sip. "Don't forget to tell mom you earned your candy after dinner." She gives a conspiratorial wink, then straightens.

Invisible Woman has posed:
"I know Jen. You're smart in your own way, but not the supergenius sort. but then, neither am I." Sue then smirks to Valeria. "You don't have to tell me, Valeria. Put some of it in the fridge." She then looks to Jen as Valeria runs off. "Joining us for dinner?"

She-Hulk has posed:
Jennifer looks back, an impish grin at her little spoiling of the girl. "I should get going. Unless I decide to cheat and jump home, it's still a solid hour, and I've got depositions to go over. I appreciate the offer, though."

Invisible Woman has posed:
"All right." Sue says before Valeria runs back into the kitchen.....then a couple of minutes later, shoves a plastic container into Jen's hands. "Take a dinner home, Aunt Jen. I helped make it." Valeria says.

She-Hulk has posed:
"That means it's got extra awesome in it." Jen says, beaming, and takes the container, before ruffling Valeria's hair. "I'll drop by and see you ladies again soon. But sadly, the weekday grind calls." She waves, before turning to head out.
