- Astrid has posed:
Metropolis. For those who don't live here, it seems like the city of tomorrow. Hovercars, skyways and gleaming buildings that show a clean blue sky with a majestic skyline.
Then a couple of cars scream by with one single police car in hot pursuit. It'd be almost comical if it wasn't for the fact that the two cars in front had machine guns, and the police car is doing it's best to keep up while dodging bullets.
Then it's rammed off the road by an armored car. and the police car does a very dangerous barrel roll off the road, but lands right side up......
- Battleborn has posed:
One of those car's hit an Ice slick, near a light pole, it's not even cold so how... oh... that's how.
Battleborn leaps into the air and lands on the hood of the other car, and her asgardian weight causes the front of said car to pitch forward and flips over her. Extending her hand she summons her axe back to her and frowns, her flow shield in a Hoplon form. "I'd say give up, but you criminals never do... so I'll just say good luck and hopefully you don;t get every bone in your body broken."
- Astrid has posed:
When the car flips over Helena, the armored car slows to a stop.....and out walks two of the biggest, meanest and uglist guys Helena might've ever seen. Except, and this is peculiar, One only has his left arm, and the other only has his right arm. Where their others arms should be...is a scar. One is carrying a hammer, and the other is carrying an Axe. the rest, that weren't in the flipped car starts to circle around Helena....and there's got to be, at least, 10 other guys. only 4 were in the flipped car, and they're starting to recover.
This doesn't look good for Battleborn.....
*BOOM*
An arrow hits the ground and send a shockwave towards the ones with the guns and cleanly knocks them out. The twins look to the sky and finds a woman with a bow flying there. "Mayhaps you would like a drink instead of battle." Says the woman in the sky. "While battle may be fun, it's not worth losing an arm over."
- Battleborn has posed:
"One of you needs to chill." Battleborn says as she hurls her axe at one, aiming for the chest to freeze, and possibly kill, said criminal, while the other now have a hail of buck shot comming at him. As she moves towards the twins, her shield lashes out and knocks out any puny minions that comes close.
- Astrid has posed:
The criminal takes the axe to the chest, and it freezes there, but it doesn't deter him....not immediately. He starts to try and remove it, being an extremely tough strong man, apparently, but the winged one in the air moves towards the other and....is definitely a distraction.
If Battleborn can watch, she is a spinning top of fiery death, with the combination of a pair of flaming whips and the knowledge to use them truly makes the other former circus strongman just crumble from the onslaught.
That is when the other twin notices his brother in peril, and starts to assist....but the axe in his chest now freezes him over......and that is when an arrow it's the ice and begins to melt it.
"They do not need to die Maiden. They don't know much else since the man with the white face had them separated." the woman says.
- Battleborn has posed:
Battleborn extends her hand and the Axe comes back to her. "Pah.." But she says nothing else as the MPD surrounds the crooks, swat team. Battleborn smiles. "Like I said, give up or else thease guys will make sure you get resisting arrest, on top of whatever else you got."
- Astrid has posed:
As the twins are carted off with the rest of the group, Astrid walks her way over to Helena. "Is that an Asgardian weapon as well as armor? It almost looks familiar." She doesn't seem worried about the twins, at least not immediately, as they don't put up any sort of a fight, as long as they're together.
- Battleborn has posed:
Battlebonr turns to look at Astrid and the armor and axe vanish in a small flurry of snow. "Yes, they were my mother's, she gifted them to me when I proved myself a warrior." She says as she extends a hand in greeting. "Helena Valdisdottr, also known as Battleborn." She says, with the helmet and armor off, one can see the clear esemblance to Valdis, though she does have her father's eye color.
- Astrid has posed:
"Valdisdottr, hmm?" Astrid says after she shakes helena's hand. "So happens I am Astrid.....Valdisdottr.." She then takes a slow breath. "Shieldmaiden of Asgard.......So you are also the daughter of Valdis the Valkyrie...."
- Battleborn has posed:
At first a confused look comes over Helena's face, and then realization hits her, almost like a freight train. "SISTER!" She says as she moves to give Astrid a huge hug. "Oh my! You survived!" She now very happy almost choked up marine says.
- Astrid has posed:
"Barely." Astrid says before giving Helena a hug. It takes a moment before she pulls back. "Asgard is no more. Those of us that survived have travelled to Norway, who offered us sanctuary with no questions asked. "However, we do need help where we are."
- Battleborn has posed:
Helena Shepard blinks and tilts her head. "Like.. shelter? buildings.. Um... well, we can talk about that later, I think I can help!" She says, but calms down, or tries too. "Mother told me about you, but she never said who you were..."
- Astrid has posed:
"We can always use more people to assist, especially if they can cook or hunt. Some of the warriors haven't taken to hunting quite as well as we'd like.....since they like to run and scream." Astrid chuckles a bit. "They yearn for a fight.....but hunting only frustrates them."
- Battleborn has posed:
Helena Shepard blinks. 'Well, I have survival trainning, but I hunt with a gun so.. not sure how much of a help I'd be." She says with a smirk as she turns and places an arm around her sister's shoulders. "Come, the criminals are in hand, and we shalll have a huge feast to celebrate our reunion!" She says as she is also hungery because her hybrid genetics are feuled by calories... a lot of calories. "I've met Vintridr, apparently she was a valkyrie with mother."
- Astrid has posed:
"We don't use guns. We could use the technology, but it's not practical. And I'm the only one that can use a bow." Astrid says as she puts her bow on her forearm. "Come.....if you can use a gun, you can use a bow with a bit of practice. I'll teach you." She says as they start to walk off....even the police let them move on.....
