Tinyplot: Shepherd of Fire

Sindr has posed:
You know how you get that feeling, now and then, you're being watched? Maybe the hairs stand up on the back of your neck. Or you get a chill. Or just... a 'feeling'. It could be entirely coincidental, or it could be something much less by happenstance, but Yin and Ultragirl - or their public selves - just might feel that very thing.

Of course, Doctor Strange being the sort of guy who senses when someone's mucking about with the mystical barriers protecting Earth (nevermind that it's pretty much his job right now, so..) probably picks up on these little intrusions.

Doctor Strange has posed:
Doctor Strange was seated deep within the impossible confines of his Sanctum Sanctorum, the wizard is sitting in the air, floating feet above the ground in a lotus position with a frown as he looks deeper into the sphere of Agamotto before him. Stephen frowns with a shakes of his head as he lowers his feet and stops the globe in it's constant spin, and Stephen turns his head to look towards the window.

The job is never done, and the former surgeon summons his floating red cloak to his back and the opens a spell to move through the fabric of reality to go to the interferance he noticed. Something's going on and he's going to encounter it head on as is his job.

Sindr has posed:
As well, the Tamaranean may feel this tugging at his senses like he's being observed. Whatever the case, when the awareness is aroused then a small, floating ember sparks to life within their vision. It dances away, daring the viewer to follow it. Just how curious /are/ they?

Ultragirl has posed:
Up in the sky, Suzy was having a typical flight in the afternoon. She really enjoyed flying around. It was frankly her favorite thing about her powers. She had a lot to like but this was top notch. Of course, then she blinks as she comes to a halt above midtown. She turns slowly in the air, eyes scanning the area, "What was that?!" She asks of no one in particular, not expecting an answer this high up. However, something made her stop and pay attention so she is trying to use her odd visual ability to see what the world might offer her in way of explanation.

Kar'ras has posed:
Kar'ras has been trying to do more good. Seriously he helped get a cat out of the tree and stopped a human from crashing into a sidewalk. He looks to the curious ember and begins to follow it. While not the fastest, he does try and keep up with it.

Sindr has posed:
There is a place in Central park that's nice and secluded - well, really there's lots of places like that in Central park... It's a big place! Anyway, a spot where these embers seem to be traveling. Those coming in from above might see something glowing from the air.

Strange can tell that these intrusions are moving toward a focal point, though it isn't there until the others are almost to their destination.

Doctor Strange has posed:
Stepping out of his house in Greenwich and into the incredibly famous park, Stephen takes a couple steps out of his portal before closing it with a simple motion of his hands. The wizard looks around and eyes the fluxuations of reality, a horrible sign of unwanted creatures, or it tends to be. The wizard stands fast with his hands lifting upwards and his fingers repositioning themselves into the mystical gestures required to cast many spells. The sorcerer waits for the need for him to spring into action.

Ultragirl has posed:
Floating down to near where Strange is, Ultragirl blinks a few times at what is going on. She can see some embers floating in the air. She looks at the spot and then looks over at the strange man with the red carpet on his back before looking again at the spot. She considers it before looking again to Strange, "Aren't you..." She hmms, "I could have sworn I had seen you in a newspaper or something." She shrugs and then sighs as she then looks ahead to the strange convergence, "Do you have any idea what is happening here?"

Yin has posed:
Yin frowns and looks around. Is that geomancer out and about again? She switches outer clothes and slips into her mask, then slinks into the park, following the glowing light quietly. She slows her breathing, spreading her ch'i senses out as she makes her way through the park, relaxing and limbering up. Something is wrong. Somehow.

She freezes a moment as someone appears, probing him lightly. While she doesn't recognize him or understand much about him, he feels like a fellow master, worthy of respect. She offers a respectful bow and looks toward the disturbance. With a faint Chinese accent, she murmurs, "Strange night, tonight."

Doctor Strange has posed:
Strange remains with his hands up and armed while Ultragirl decends down to the older wizard who nods once, "I have had a few pieces written about me, but that's not what's important at the moment." The wizard says, trying to refocus the woman onto the situation at hand and he squints, "It seems like a convergance or an interdimensional event is preparing to take place, be ready for anything." With a glance of his eyes to Tsu-Zana, he reiterates with emphasis, "Anything."

Then as Yin shows up, Strange gives a soft bow of his chin and forehead mostly before he offers his input of, "It's not any stranger than any other night in my experience..." But he's almost jaded to this kind of encounter.

Ultragirl has posed:
A look over at Strange and then at Yin again and she considers the situation, "Anything?" She then looks at the embers floating there, "If it involves fire, then I should be ok." SHe nods her head, "Other than that though not sure." She shrugs and then clenches her fists and states, "I'm not really in my element here either way. Usually better at finding something to punch." She shrugs, "Kinda, not gotten a lot farther than that." She looks to Yin and hmms. She doesn't recognize her so she just goes back to looking at the situations.

Kar'ras has posed:
Kar'ras lands on the ground next to the others and he clenches his fist. "Is this like the demon squirrel you helped me deal with sir?" Kar'ras asks as he watches the wizard and then turns back to the embers and readies himself for any kind of battle, prepared for it.

Sindr has posed:
The embers converge when they reach that focal point; a bit out of the way, secluded where not just anyone can happen upon them. Heck, it's probably the seedy sort of area where all sorts of foul things happen. Regardless, there's nobody here /now/ other than the people who are lead here. And Strange. THAT guy.

It's on that convergence that a figure forms; female, cloaked, made entirely of flame but otherwise /almost/ human. The fire causes the features to flicker, but there's definitely a few things that don't quite match up aside from that. They're just hard to nail down due to quality.

"Well." she states quite plainly. "/You're/ unexpected." indicating Strange with her gaze.

Yin has posed:
Yin offhandedly comments, "Fair. I'm far more used to ninjas and werewolves and cannibals and things. Shall we?" She ventures forward, hands raised relaxedly and steepled gently in front of herself. "Oh - You can call me 'Yin'." She frowns at the new arrival, and probes her with her ch'i senses.

Doctor Strange has posed:
"Something tells me this is nothing like that rodent." Stephen says eyes lingering on the sudden appearance of living sentient flame. He keeps his fingers primed, but he does lower them, "I must insist that you explain who you are and what you are doing in this city and on this planet." The wizard is forward, and abrupt but not forceful in his tone, and he's completely focused on the fire creature before them.

Ultragirl has posed:
A blink as a very creature made of fire appears before them. A...woman perhaps? Ultragirl is not real clear on this situation but she shrugs, "Hey, it was fire." She says offhandedly and hten looks over as Strange speaks up. She then hmms at him before looking back to the woman of flame and smiling a little, "You're kind of unexpected yourself." She nods her head to the woman and shifts her right foot back, just in case.

Yin has posed:
Yin frowns. "You're a long way from Muspelheim. Do you know how many hours I spent healing people from your weaponry?" She moves to Strange's side, confident in him from how he carries himself. She hopes for the best from the other two unknowns.

To Strange, "Do you know how to deal with this? I defer to you if this is your expertise. I am quite happy to offer what assistance is of use."

Kar'ras has posed:
"I can absorb her fire and become stronger." Kar'Ras says as he raises a hand revealing a jewel embedded into the palm of his hand. He then waits for the woman to react, studying her intensely.

Sindr has posed:
"Oh that's easy, I thought I'd test a few things and see how it all went. As for who I am..." The fire entity trails off as Muspelheim is mentioned. "Well, you already have part of it... I'll gladly introduce myself if you'll do the same. Then we can talk about why I'm here."

Then she points an arm dripping flame at Yin, "Yin, was it? Do explain yourself; Muspelheim has fought many a battle lately and I don't recall you or yours before my blade."

Sindr has posed:
Sindr then says to Kar'ras, "You wouldn't get much, flame-thief." Her words are dry, lacking any amusement.

Doctor Strange has posed:
"I am Doctor Strange, Sorcerer Supreme of this planet and dimension. It is my duty to protect this plane from exterior influences such as yourself- but if you truely are from Muspelheim..." Stephen trails off mid thought, his hands lowering fully and his fingers relaxing. "If there was no reason for your being in this realm other than experimentation, as long as you are here without malice, I would welcome you to Midgard." Stephen explains almost apoloogetically.

Yin has posed:
Yin shakes her head. "I healed the refugees from Asgard. The weapons your people use were difficult to repair. Brutal, even. But I managed. I'm sure they might have something to say about it if you cause any trouble. They have a lot of friends here."

She nods at Strange. To him, she remarks, "I presume you have a procedure for this."

Ultragirl has posed:
A look over at the woman and she squints. S he then looks over at the gem on Kar'ras's hand. She considers the situation and then nods to Strange and steps forward, "If you are just here to look around or something of the like then I agree." She nods her head, "Welcome." She then considers, "Though that was a strange way to come here." She looks over at the others before shrugging, "Well, with that, I am Ultragirl." She smiles and nods to the others. Never a bad move to get some name recognition.

Kar'ras has posed:
"I am Kar'Ras of Tamaran. I am hiding on this planet from my masters. If found they will put me back to service killing races for my master's whims." He says softly as he closes his hand and watches the being of fire. "I wont harm any being which comes in peace. My queen wishes to work with the various peoples of this planet."

Sindr has posed:
"I am Sindr, Daughter of Surtur and now Queen of Muspelheim since my father's... demise." says the burning woman before them. "At least, what of me I can dribble into Midgard. I would look forward to speaking with you again."

To Yin, she says, "I've no love for the Asgardians but I've no intention to bring them further grief at this time - that was my father's war; him and his damned obsession with Ragnarok! THE TEN REALMS MUST BURN!!! Ugh." and waves dismissively. "Still, neither would I draw their attention. They would only panic, and make bad decisions. I have other wars more important than they."

There is a flutter of the figure as a whole, as though its existence here tenuous. "In truth, I wondered what attention I /would/ get, and now I am answered. I would speak with you all again, privately. Yin, Kar'ras, Ultragirl, and even you Doctor Strange. To that end, take these." Sparkles fall from her to the ground. Small, shiny black stones with a faint glow in the dimming light. "If you take them, keep them, I can find you again."

Doctor Strange has posed:
Stephen squints at the being before him and then down at the rocks that she dropped on the grass of Central Park with a curious glance. "I will look forward to our next meeting Sindr." The wizard claims before he reaches out and has one of the rocks lift up off the ground and float into his gloved hand. He looks to the other three, Yin, Ultragirl, and Kar'ras, "I wish you all safe holidays and keep vigilant, things are getting wild out there." Stephen says before he turns around and walks through another portal that closes right behind him.

Kar'ras has posed:
Kar'ras accepts the gem and looks it over. "I accept your gift. When you have need of me, simply ask and I will serve if it doesnt anger My Queen, Koriand'r" He says calmly as he watches the fiery being and looks to the others present.

Ultragirl has posed:
A brief moment of confusion at these words and then Suzy walks over and picks up a stone. She looks at it and hmms before nodding, "Sure." She looks at Sindr, "Try not to cause trouble." She nods her head, "People tend not to be...uh, very normal around a fire lady." She then looks to the side, "To be honest you kind of make me a little shakey but I have dealt with fire before." She nods and then she floats up, "Good to meet you all." She gives a salute and she flies away.

Yin has posed:
Yin looks down at the stone, then cautiously picks it up. If Doctor Strange thinks it's safe... she has her misgivings, but, she doesn't want to be challenging the judgement of a master.

"You understand. I am going to have to mention this to the Asgardians," she comments. "I'm not about to be the one to keep something secret from the people that I spent time healing, just in case this turns out badly."

Sindr has posed:
Sindr says, "I expect their counsel will be rather unfavorable toward me, but..." She shrugs. "We shall see what comes, if anything. 'Twas a good meet, Yin. Until we do so again."

Yin has posed:
Yin bows respectfully and slips away, keeping her eye on Sindr with due watchfulness.

Sindr has posed:
"Kar'ras, I look forward to speaking with you again. May you continue to serve your Queen well." she says then, and fades into one of those familiar embers, then winks out.
