Daredevil has posed:
The word on the street was that there was someone new in town, someone calling themselves Tsubasa. Along with that news, came the word of a meeting between some of the city's biggest gangs and the newcomer. A little sluething or command of the city's cameras, will lead to a warehouse in the Glades, where the cars of those attending the meeting enter past plain clothed security and into the lighted warehouse. Other sentries are stationed about on the rooftops and the streets, some of them unknown faces, others members of the gangs at the meeting.

The warehouse is old, with stairs up to the roof along one side, and a few side doors that could be broken into, there are of course, the obligatory roof skylights for spying and grand entrances.

Inside the meeting begins.

Green Arrow has posed:
Someone new meant going in overtly was a bad idea... which meant the Skybike was almost certainly out of the question right now. Green Arrow had chosen a path of infiltration and long term ambush for this one. He was keeping watch from a block over via a monocular, and was waiting for Yin to get into position for covert takedowns on the rooftop. Two and two in quick succession, so he could zipline his way onto the warehouse quietly to listen in on things.

Blunt arrows were constructed as Yin got into position, and one was already nooked and ready to neutralize the nearest rooftop sentry. Over the commlink Green Arrows masked voice is heard, "Ready when you are."

Yin has posed:
Yin finds her way onto the roof, then almost casually walks over to a sentry and chokes him out. "I'm ready." She dumps the body out of sight, then slips toward the next target, moving like a sentry in a black bodysuit and jacket. Like the previous sentry, really. That's a double, not that it matters as she quietly grabs the first and knocks him out while his partner glances away. He doesn't get to raise an alarm, either.

"Whenever you're ready."

Daredevil has posed:
There's a quiet "Urk," from the sentry as Yin chokes him out, but his partner doesn't hear it. The second one goes down just as quickly and is dragged out of sight.

From his perch, Green Arrow sees one of his two sentries raise a weapon taking aim at something on the ground. From his position, Green Arrow can't see the target, but Yin can from hers. A homeless man wandering into the perimeter. The man sets his finger to the trigger and begins to squeeze.

Green Arrow has posed:
Two arrows were about to go silently into the night into the center foreheads of both sentries. Instead, Green Arrow brings up a set of electronic binoculars with thermal vision and starts to scan for more bodies. "I've got my sentries spotting someone new." Yin would have told him if she was spotted... and the weapons are aimed /down/ not up... so it's obvious there's someone there besides the two, "I don't have eyes on."

Yin has posed:
Yin frowns. "Civilian! Shoot." She gauges how far away she is from the sentry with the rifle with a frown. She wouldn't get to either in time, and Arrow is in position to deal with them. She's just going to have to trust him on this one, and time is very, very short.

Still, she starts moving in on them, just in case things go completely sideways. Or the guy is one of those people who takes forever to aim. We can always hope.

Green Arrow has posed:
For anyone else, the time window, the aim, and the sheer distance would make making both shots in time impossible. Both shots are grandmaster league stuff, and even then a perfect forehead hit would have a better chance of going through the eyes or the throat.

For Green Arrow? It's just another night in the suit as two blunt arrows are nooked two seconds from one another... and both arrows hit center forehead without a problem. Silent takedowns on the rooftop, "what's going on? Far as I'm aware, this group isn't at war with anyone else yet." Green Arrow asks over the line as a zipline arrow is constructed on the fly. Launched into the edge of the rooftop, the arrowhead drills anchors into the material. He takes a few seconds to anchor the other side into his rooftop.

Daredevil has posed:
The last man drops. The shot untaken.

Down below the homeless man carries on with his shopping cart. Pushing on past the warehouse.

The way to the roof is clear for both Green Arrow and Yin.

Yin has posed:
Yin whews and moves to the entrance point to sense through it and see if anybody is on the other side. "A civilian entered the area. They were going to shoot him." She lets out a slow breath, relaxing and feeling through the walls and ceiling, tilting her head a little bit. "First aid on a civilian would have made this a mess."

Green Arrow has posed:
It takes about five seconds for Green Arrow to get to the warehouse roof silently, and a neural command has the other end of his zipline undrill from the material of it's rooftop, before the arrowhead on his side reels it in with the microengine inside. Once the wire is reclaimed, the arrow itself is replaced into the quiver and mechanically deconstructed once more, "we need to find out who the newcomers are and what they want. We'll stay up here unless we find more stragglers to deal with." Green Arrow offers in order to Yin, before he starts heading across the rooftop to one of the skylights.

A glass cutter is taken from one of his pouches, and he starts to work on the skylight with it. "Cover me."

Daredevil has posed:
As Green Arrow reaches the skylight. He can see down below. There a semi-circle of familiar faces, gangsters of various sorts he's tangled with in the past, facing a man wearing a red ninja shozoku with the mask down of revealing his features, he seems to be in control of things. With him are a dozen other red clad and masked ninja, weapons in hand, civilians on their knees in front of them.

The glass of the skylight cuts easily letting the words from the meeting filter up through the glass.

"So you're coming here now that the Daredevil and the feds have run you out of New York?" one of the leaders asks defiantly. "Why should we listen to a damn thing you people say?"

The unmasked ninja, Tsubasa, smiles tightly, then flings a blade it catches the man in the throat he grasps it and falls, blood spilling from the wound.

The other gang leaders start reaching for their weapons, but Tsubasa says, "Stop."

To one side more ninja appear dragging captives along with them. By the looks on the gangsters faces, the captives are people they recognize.

"We took insurance, if you all want to live, you'll surrender your weapons and submit to the Hand."

---

Outside Yin can see a pair of ninjas emerge from the warehouse and begin to patrol the perimeter, it's only a matter of time before they find the downed sentries.

Yin has posed:
Yin sighs as she picks up on the fresh movement, and turns to point that way with her fingers. "Two Hand ninja. It had to be ninjas. They sent out a fresh perimeter. They'll check these sentries eventually. Where do you want me?"

She probes with her senses, checking around at the places just out of sight with her life sense, looking around and letting Arrow call the shots for now. Clean chain of command is important for things like this.

Green Arrow has posed:
Yet another hostile takeover uniting more gangs is the last thing Starling needs, and the slight frown under Green Arrows hood makes it clear he's not interested in allowing it. He whispers to Yin, "We'll do a simultaneous take-down, then do shock and awe tactics to create chaos inside." Green Arrow points to one of the ninjas "You take that one," A blunt arrow is nooked into his compound bow as he heads for the other, "on your mark."

Daredevil has posed:
The scene inside continues as the two ninja patrol the grounds. They are silent, no idle, chatter, just moving slowly, ensuring no one is where they're not supposed to be. They are closing on Yin's position.

Yin has posed:
Yin starts off toward the edge of the roof, then adjusts her posture and body language to look like a bored sentry, right where a sentry is supposed to be. She casually waves at a ninja, and moves that way as if to give them an update on something, shrouded with shadows and all and getting pretty close before she looks out of place.

At the first moment of recognition, she lunges in with a xingyiquan closing step and drives in with a quick palm strike to the jaw, where boxers go for a knockout. She follows it moving in close to lock and disable and silence.

Green Arrow has posed:
Once Yin is handling her side, Green Arrow takes a blunt arrow and launches it right at the back of his ninja's head. Going to the ground would take too long and give a chance for the ninja to recognize him.

Daredevil has posed:
The ninja stop when Yin waves, waiting for her report then, as she approaches, one calls out "Password," in Japanese, but by then it's too late. The lung closes the gap and she strikes the man in the jaw. He weaves on his feet before Yin moves in close to complete the takedown.

The second one draws his blade and raises it to strike before Oliver's arrow drops him to the ground.

The night is quiet again.

Green Arrow has posed:
Once both bodies are on the ground, "Drag both bodies against the wall together." Green Arrow barks out quickly as another arrow is taken from his quiver, and aimed directly down.

Once Yin has done as he asked, the arrow is launched, and midway in flight silently explodes into some sort of foam that covers the two, "That should buy us some time if anyone comes snooping." Another arrow is taken and launched directly downwards... and a microengine inside the arrowhead once again drills a three pronged anchor into the ground. The other end is secured to the rooftop, allowing Yin easy climbing access... and himself an escape route.

Green Arrow himself doesn't wait for Yin, instead heading to the skylight he opened, and he launches a recording arrow into a nice dark, silent nook inside, recording the voices for later examination. "Get yourself in position to take down anyone who leaves the warehouse."

Yin has posed:
Yin steps away from the dragged ninja and moves to the line, descending to the ground quickly. "Copy that." She moves over to the door, breathes out and relaxes, opening her senses so she will be able to sense anybody approaching the doorway from the other side, giving a brief look to make sure there are no more complications.

"Ready."

Daredevil has posed:
None of the preparations are noticed by those inside.

Tsubasa has killed two more of the leaders and the rest are now kneeling before him. He seems pleased as he dictates the terms of the new arrangement, the tribute the Hand is due and how orders will be passed along.

The Hand's hostages are still held fast, blades kept near their throats. The other ninja are spread out now, their attention on the gang leaders.

Green Arrow has posed:
Once all the new 'arrangements' have been given (allowing Green Arrow plenty of material both voices and protocol to go on) a number of things happen at once.

First, one of his biggest flash arrows is launched dead center inside, big enough to cover the entire warehouse. Yin can easily see the giant boom from her position.

Second, multiple tear gas arrows are launched at the highest concentration areas... and a couple more to spread it out. Within seconds, the warehouse is completely swamped in the stuff.

Green Arrow brings his own gas mask up to his face so he can watch the inside... and anyone not going for the exit gets a blunt arrow to the head for their trouble.

At least they do until they figure out he's up there. This carefully executed ambush should make that very difficult, though.

Daredevil has posed:
The explosion has the intended effect. Stunning and blinding.

The tear gas arrows that follow just add to the confusion and in the midst of it all Tsubasa seems to vanish.

The rest is all chaos. The some of the bosses try to run for the door, the ninja guarding them try to strike them down, but it's hard through the stinging smoke. The ones holding the prisoners though even through the coughing and choking hold tight. One of their number, shouting between coughs: "Kill them."

Outside the door bursts open as one of the bosses wins free of the warehouse a pair of ninja on his tail.

Yin has posed:
As the door flies open, Yin sets her foot down in front of her and slides into a new stance, in a gentle seeming shove that catches the boss in the center of the chest in a rising, deep movement that takes him off his feet and launches him back into the room, flying through the air into one of the ninja, like he had been punched by a super.

She turns to a side stance, beckoning the other ninja with her fingers, then kicks the door in front of her closed, to remove their line of sight on her. No cheating with guns.

Green Arrow has posed:
Well, that's no good. Even Green Arrow is going to have trouble keeping up with this chaos... but he tries. Blunt arrows are launched at foreheads one at a time against those holding prisoners. He trusts Yin to handle the stragglers. He has plenty of blunt arrows tonight, and more in the spare storage pod on his Skybike, so he keeps taking high threat targets out of play from his vantage point while he has it.

Daredevil has posed:
The boss never sees the kick coming and he tumbles back into the ninja. They're stunned, but get to their feet quickly only to have the door slammed in their face.

They kick it open again and spill into the night weapons drawn but half-blinded by the tear gas.

Inside it's utter chaos. Oliver is able to save the hostages with his quick shooting but another of the gang leaders is taken out by a ninja before the ninja is taken down in turn. Then, suddenly the lights go out within the warehouse, the sounds of fighting stop inside.

The ninja are withdrawing. Except for those last two outside.

Yin has posed:
Yin flows into a palm change, grabbing one ninja by the weapon arm and twisting around to throw them head first into the other ninja, then reverses to dislocate the shoulder as she steps in to slam her foot down on the second one's leg, moving in to deal with them while they are still off balance.

"Clumsy. Must I send a critical note to your teachers?" A bit of qi manipulation on the fallen ninja to make sure they don't escape, and she looks back to the door.

Green Arrow has posed:
It doesn't take long for Green Arrow to stop firing into the chaos. Two ninja are staying. Rear guard, or a message? Only one way to find out.

A grapnel arrow is launched into the rooftop next to him, and Green Arrow simply crashes through the skylight, the grapnel line attached to his quiver released feet from the ground. His compound bow is brought up, a regular arrow nooked and aimed in their general direction, "Tell the Hand they're not welcome in my city." Green Arrows distorted voice cuts through the confusion.

Daredevil has posed:
There is no reply from the Hand, save for one of Tsubasa's knives thrown into a crate near Oliver.

The message is clear. Green Arrow and Yin might of won the day, but the Hand will be back.
