Domino has posed:
Domonio knew she shouldn't of tried to go in there alone. As she walked down the dark street lined up with the lights. As she duckes into corner a blacked out SUV drives by slowly down the street, and she sighs checking her ammo again to make sure there was enough.

Domino thought she lost them coming to this ditry city, but it seems they were able to track her down yet again. If nothing else she would give them persistance. As the car passes she ducks back to the street again as she needed a place to lie low until they were done.

Spotting a pancake place she ducks in quickly, though even she may look out of place in it. She wore her combat gear, and was fully armed with just way too many guns. Thankfully she had a coat to cover this on so it wasn't obvious to just anyone, but it was there. She had the 'don't mess with me look' plastered on her face, and the giant mark that went over her eye was just bearly covered by her long hair if she wasn't looking in your direction.

Green Lantern (Cruz) has posed:
A brief green flare of light might be seen from the windows, as then a Latina woman wearing a gray jacket and black jeans walks into the diner. She is so looking forward to this... but gives the woman in the trench coat an odd look; she looks like trouble. Sidestepping her, she takes a table booth. Pancakes! It's been four months since she's had the tasty things.

Domino has posed:
As you pass the woman glances at you, and she looks porcelain white other then he black mark earlier. She of course doesn't see the green light, or if she did ignores it as she knows nothing about lanterns.

As you sit, and do what your actually supposed to come to a pancake house to do the woman stands just away from the window quietly standing waiting. It doesn't take long before some middle aged person wearing a badge that says 'Hi I am Sam', and denoting that he is the manager walks up to her.

The man asks her if she has money to order food as he thinks the coat, and the get-up that this is some crazy woman. Of course he doesn't see the guns, but it doesn't help she doesn't answer him. After a bit louder 'excuse me M'am' and an explination about the store policy, she actually moves for the first time since she entered.

Grabbing the man she lifts him slightly, and pushes him against the wall.. "Leave.... me alone." is all she says in a very dangerous tone. She hasn't drawn any weapons, or even hurt him yet, but already you can hear the man starting to get the panic in his voice when he adds "It is just store policy!"

Green Lantern (Cruz) has posed:
Jessica Cruz sighs softly as she gets up - she didn't even get to order yet, and walks over. "Is everything okay here?" she asks, tilting her head curiously. She murmurs something in Spanish looking down, and a tiny glimmer of green comes from her left hand, that has a green ring on the middle finger. She blinks - that's a _lot_ of guns that her scan detected. Finally, she makes a decision.

"She's with me," she finally announces to the manager, thinking of the easiest way to defuse this situation without busting out her powers. "I was hoping my friend wouls show up. Come on over. Have some pancakes with me."

Domino has posed:
The woman looks at the man like she wants to hurt him for getting in her way, but stops hearing another voice behind her. She was already way off mission, and killing some random a-hole in some random place for free isn't how she worked. After a glare that almost makes the man panic again she sighs, and puts him down turrning to face Jessica.

It is just a glance up, and down to make sure she isn't a theat, at leat it looked like she wasn't as well armed, but she also didn't have that doey look that drover her crazy. Without a word she nods as she passes, and heads back to your table though she keeps an eye on the window for now.

She would finally speak when Jessica returns with a short, "I am not poor you know.. I can pay for whatever meal this is, but just very busy right now. I don't have time for jerks trying to push me around." and that hard look of determination, and anger return.

Green Lantern (Cruz) has posed:
Jessica Cruz sits down opposite you and nods slowly. "I don't doubt that. But I was just trying to defuse the situation. The manager was just trying to do his job." She extends her right hand. "I'm Jessica. Just got back after being out of town a while. I'm craving pancakes bad." She smiles wryly. "Always good to meet a new friend, I hope."

Domino has posed:
The woman looks at you almost confused for a moment. She did not expect to run into a talker here she had always heard it was kind of a dive for people this time at night. "My name is Domino just call me Dom my friend" she stops and thinks, "used to.. "

Her job was a dangerous one, and her coworkers died often sometimes by her own hand if they needed to. It had been a busy few years, so that is all she really knew were those people. "And you don't want to be friends." she adds while looking out the window with a little scoff. "At least not unarmed."

After her little joke she immeditly turns to face away from the window. As she does, a blacked out SUV drives by slowly.. Though it passes. With a frown she returns to her spot after it passes... "Well Jessica looks like I might be stuck her for a while.. Order two."

Green Lantern (Cruz) has posed:
Jessica Cruz nods. "Oh, believe me, I can take care of myself," she states. "I know that look," she muses softly. "You're hiding from someone. That look was on my face for years. I understand what it means to be hunted." She sighs as the waitress comes up and she orders two plates of pancakes along with a Coca-Cola and whatever you wanted to drink. "Of course, I'm going to bet that you're not wearing a trench coat for style either..." she continues after the waitress leaves. "But I'm not going to pry, Domino. I like that name."

Domino has posed:
She listens quietly, only adding "Water." when asked what to drink. Though she watches you after you mention the chasing, and trench coat as though they are just normal observations anyone could make.. That was three, and Domino was starting to get a better picture. "No... I suppose you could? Let me guess detective? You seem smarter then a beat cop, but you insinuate a lot of questions."

She turns and faces you now putting her attention on the person across from her with a cold stare. "You also seem smart enough to realize that this would be a bad place for a confertation so why not..." she gives a half grin. "You are right I am being chased.. I set up for a perfect shot on this mob boss a couple days back." she mock shoots... "Even hit it so far away they didn't know who or what happened." then she sighs, and gives a small shrug. "It was a body double.. Who even has a body double in this day in age. So now he is pissed, and my employer is pissed.. So I sit in this dirty dinner talking to someone who I am not sure if I am going to have to shoot after this."

Green Lantern (Cruz) has posed:
Jessica Cruz smiles faintly. "I suppose one could call me a cop of sorts... but this is _not_ my jurisdiction. It's a long complicated story and I'm not sure you'd believe me if I told you." She then stares. "The mob..." She sighs softly. "I have a lot of beef with the mob. They're the ones who gunned my friends down. The four of us were just doing a hunting trip and we saw two people burying someone in the woods - I managed to get away. They didn't... so I hid in my house for years. If you need protection from them, I'm your girl." A masculine 'ahem' suddenly comes from her left hand, and she gently swats it with her right hand. The ring on her finger was almost glowing faintly in the light. "And trust me, I can protect you indeed."

Domino has posed:
As domino responds you can see them.. The pancakes, and these look good. Whatever they did they look all fluffly, with the steam coming off. She nods, "Sloppy, you left them alive.. You can't run from those situations they just follow unless you go for one paying them." she put the scenerio through her mind, and got what she would do to in that situation. There is no I'm sorry, or anything as she knew the game, and this one was lucky they got away with actions like that.

As she finishes the server beings the food over though as she stands between the window, and the door it seems to get brighter. The lady drops the syrup she broght over as everything just does that emergancy slow down thing.

Domino is already bending over to pick up the syrup as the car impacts the window. It looks like the suv has a few people in it, as they just smashed their way inside. Strangly enough Domino is in the safest place for this as she is both in cover, and out of the way of the glass. It was just lucky really, but there still was all the other people in there.

But the SUV is stopped cold before it can penetrate the wall of the diner more. In a split-second, Jessica's demeanor - and appearances - changes. Suddenly Jessica's clothing changes from the gray and black to a glowing green and black, and a glowing-green wooden wall appears, stopping the charging vehicle in its tracks. Apparently the woman that you were sitting with is some kind of hero as she the waitress dropped the pancakes in the shock of the loud noise. "My pancakes!" she yells as she stares at the SUV, a glowing emblem like a lantern around her right eye - matching the logo on her chest. She sighs as she gestures, the wooden wall now acting as a bulldozer shoving the vehicle out of the window. "Who are these jokers?" she finally asks, frowning. "Friends of yours?" she asks Domino, who seemed to be in the luckiest spot to avoid any shrapnel.

Domino has posed:
Standing out of her spot she stands and looks at Jessica again. She smiles a bit, and says "No... They aren't". The good news is she is smiling, the bad news is she has a gun that shoots a smart dart of seditive pointed right at you as she pulling the trigger. "Though I am lucky.. I did not think I would have another opportunity like this."

She yells out at the others. "Don't shoot I have a deal for your boss. Honest to god meta for his own, some kind of law by the sounds of it." she smiles coldly.. "Take me to your leader."

Green Lantern (Cruz) has posed:
Jessica Cruz is removing the SUV from the diner, frowning, creating a barrier in the wall to keep the people out. Blacked-out SUVs are generally only used bry criminals. Then something stabbed her. She grabs it - a dart? She stares at Domino who's holding the gun. "What...?" she asks. "Why...?" She sways dizzily. "A.... deal..." She was rapidly collapsing. "Can't.... not that..." She then collapses, and the constructs vanish. Her ring wisely kept silent, not drawing attention to itself - even that weird glowing-green outfit vanishes, returning to her normal clothing. And the ring camouflages itself so it's invisible.

Domino has posed:
The men jumping out of the SUV don't look convinced as they point guns at Domnio. But, one of them calls it in.. "Yea she says she has a meta for you.. Yea to make up I guess..." he asks for her name, and Domino gives them "Samantha.." the obviously fake name.

Strangly enough though the man stops, and points his gun down. "Yes sir Samantha.. Okay.. Yes Green stuff.." finally turning to face them again. He directs the others to grab both Domino, and Samantha putting damping cuffs on the later one. "Boss says you struck gold... Who would of thought we would of found her here." as they take all the guns and put Domino in regular cuffs. "You are going to get your face to face with the boss too bad he is prob going to kill you."

In response as they are lead into the back of the van all Domino says to them with a cold smile is.. "Indeed... How lucky" as she moves to make sure her hidden guns are still there.

Domino has posed:
Last time on the dynamic duo of Domino, and Cruz.. Domino appears, looking shady entering a place on the run, and then Jessica appears shortly after with a mezmerized look on her face saying one word.. "Pancakes."... There is a quick flash as they sit together... One of them saying "Sup" then the other one responding in kind, as a blacked out window SUV hits the window of the store. With a flash of green Jessica saves the day, only to be betrayed by the sneaky Domino... Shooting her in the back, while she was looking to handle the threat. After a short pause it moves to Domino talking to the men, and giving them some fake name which the boss seems to reconize. So after putting some wierd cuffs on her before putting a sack over her head Domino carried her to the SUV, and they drove away quick as that.

Domino shakes her head, she thinks she might of been around crazy too long if wierd pictures of that keeps poping to her head. She checks again on Jessica as she did give her quite a dose before looking at the driver calmly asking how long before they get there. She had to get the timing right for this to work, and she was about to have a very angry what she kind of hopped was a meta waking up to interupt her well placed plans. Things were going to get interesting from this point as the easy part was done, and she couldn't just shoot her way out of it.. Well she could.. she thinks, but that would ruin the whole plan.

Jessica Cruz comes to as the SUV is still along the road, but is close to the destination slowly opening her eyes. "Ohhhhh... such a headache..." she mumbles softly. She reaches up, groggy, to rub her forehead then CLANK. "Huh?" She then opens her eyes and looks around. "What's going on?" She then stares at Domino. "You shot me in the back!" she growls, but the men present in the back with the prisoners... and goes very quiet. Mobsters. Her greatest fear. She whimpers faintly, shivering. She closes her eyes as she starts to go through a mental exercise to focus herself - at this state she'd be useless.

Domino has posed:
As she wakes up Domino pushes her hands to the side just incase.. She thanks her luck she didn't wake up swinging that green stuff around. You would feel an strong gloved grip from slender fingers on your shoulder though not in a way that hurts since your not really moving. "Relax Samantha.." she adds in a calm but stern voice. "These men are just going to take you back to your uncle.. Turns out that body double was your father he was wanting to kill off anyway, so you are the only one standing in his way." she glances around pausing to let it sink it. "He wants to do it face to face... So we are going to see him right now.

As she turns to look at the large gates the suv hits a bump, and she gets close... You can hear her whisper.. "Relax.. this gets us what we both want.." before she slides away. The van if everything is uneventfull will pull up and stop infront of the house where the bag is pulled off. It would look kinda richy, but would most likely not be reconizable. The reason is clear to those that know how mobbosses work.. He must be new... Fresh up the chain with not a care to being cought.. Also the most dangerous, and desperate to keep that spot.

Jessica Cruz just frowns as she figures this out. She sighs softly. They aren't hurting her. The Emerald Sun is blossoming in her mind - she is calm and centered. She glances at Domino - then down to her hand. "These are strange handcuffs," she muses, gazing at the obviously technological device, wiggling her wrists. "They're chafing a bit." She then prepares herself. She's seen meta-cuffs before. Of course they don't work on her.

Domino has posed:
As they lead them into the place the nice halls, and the fancy looking things inside of it Jessica can see Domino counting with a cold smile as pass the guards. She was going to make a killing out of this job, but she had to know what she was up against. As they finally enter a large room at the end of the hall full of dead animals, and a large wooden desk sits a large man with way too many rings on, and a cheap looking suit with a smile on his face too. When they enter he is already up, and moving though slowly based on his size.

There are six people in this room including the man heading towards you two. The two that escorted you in, the two that were already in here, and one right outside the door. Though this doesn't seem to disturb Domino as she walks infront of you... Ya could of swore you saw her suit move as she passed, but the black on black makes lines hard to pin point. As the man speaks.. "You fou.." he never finishes the thought.. Without hesitation, or small talk the bang recoil silences the room coming from a small pistol in her hands. It looks like a one shot dillinger, but it did the job as the blood comes down the middle of the mans head. And that... is when the chaos starts... The men are moving, but Jessica has been following Domino's plan to this point.. So she easily has the upper hand.

Jessica Cruz saw the mob boss. Nobody has seemed to recognize her yet - maybe this isn't the mobsters that gunned down her friends. She started reciting the Green Lantern Oath in her head- but before she finished there was a BANG. And the mob boss dropped. The moment the gunshot rang out, Jessica once again flares bright green - her clothing overlaid by the uniform of a Green Lantern, the emblem around her eye. The meta-cuffs are quickly snapped in half as she creates a shield around herself. She studies the guards and quickly binds their hands with handcuff constructs that look like living vines. "What _are_ you doing?" she growls at Domino. "You trying to get yourself killed? Don't kill anyone else." The door becomes barricaded with the same kind of wooden-wall construct as shown before. "As much as I'd want to... it's against the oaths I swore." She is floating in the middle of the room, doing an impressive job of multitasking with binding bad guys, protecting hreself, and blocking the door

Domino has posed:
As she start flaring up Domino is already on the run towards trusting this lady to protect herself the same way she did at the Donut shop. The man draws his gun, pointing right at her when he pulls the trigger... "Click!" as she doesn't even slow down. Flippling over him she grabs him with her legs using the weight to pull her, and following him by the neck behind the table as blind shots fill the room. There is a bit of a snap though as she pulled him over the desk. She shouts out from behind the desk.. "Still alive! And well... about the no killing people thing." she pauses.. before coming up with a couple more shots. She is a marksman, a sniper, and she doesn't miss as the two men fall down. "They are bad guys right.. so what is the big deal?" as she ducks back down behind the desk the shots getting more accurate as the blindness starts to pass. She laughs a bit as she reloads the gun she stole from the body... "Besides I am getting paid good money per kill, and I haven't taken any oath."

From behind the shield outside in the hallway the guard, as well as the other guards at bashing the green shield with all their might, the people inside the room are just starting to get their vision back, and so far as you can see Domino is just a normal person.. No super-strength of fancy light show.. Lucky yea, but guns jam right?

Green Lantern (Cruz) has posed:
Jessica Cruz just stares. "I should just leave you to your fate," she mutters soflty. "You're as bad as they are." She frowns, as she moves her ring to the computer. She downloads the hard drive and fries it with one slap of her hand against it - then rifles through the desk for any important documentation. "This one isn't the one who killed my friends - but he may know them." She finds the little black book that's so stereotypical but still a reality as she glances at Domino. The door's still blocked and there's no current threats in this room. "Those two I'm taking into custody," she notes, gesturing to the two hogtied mobsters. "Perhaps they didn't realize what they were getting into with me."

Domino has posed:
Domino stands and looks around the room.. "My fate.. That is a funny way of putting it." as she moves to the boss and kicks him in the head. She points the gun at one of the hogtied men.. "You think these men haven't hunted down people of their own." she crouches putting the gun to the mans temple and smiles. "How many friends of people just like you he has killed?" she looks at her gun then back at her.. "Just drop the green goo, and I will kill all of them for you. Ya don't have to break your oath, and these people can get whats comming to them."

She stands and turns, "You said I am just as bad as them... I am much much worse, they are just the fools that are stupid, or crazy enough to pay me to do it." then with a sigh she stops.. "What are you doing..." she turns and walks to one of the large stuffed animal, and knocks it down to show a safe. "They keep all the good stuff in a back-up safe.. Stupid mobsters never learn."

Green Lantern (Cruz) has posed:
Jessica Cruz frowns as she puts a barrier between Domino's gun and the captive. "Oh. Right. I really tried to avoid looking at the mob. I do have the contents of the computer and this book." She then floats over to Domino. "All I want is information about an incident that happened four years ago. I don't need the money." She then uses vine constructs to rip the safe door off and sifts through it, getting anything that looks like important data.

Domino has posed:
While Jessica is busy she tries to put a bullet into one of the hogtied men's head.. Successfull or not she would grin, "Had to try.." as she walks around the room a bit more seeming to loot this and that from a body. She moves quick so it isn't sure what she is doing. "So you want revenge, but your not willing to kill anyone? Too bad really I mean if someone killed my friends I would like a little payback. Don't you want a little payback?" she waves a hand, "I wasn't worried about paying you.. Do what ya want really.. Just let me finish off these people as I was sent to do."

She takes a seat on the desk, and smiles a cold smile, "I got nothin against you, or whatever evidence you want to find here we can do that too."

The men outside are starting to leave to what seems get something bigger to hid the field with, and the hogtied people are starting to struggle. You are finding nothing about the people you are looking for as these people seem to low on the totem pole to mess with someone like that. Though you do find a lot of criminal activities even a ledger in the safe so these people can go away for a long time.. Well the ones that live through it.

Green Lantern (Cruz) has posed:
Jessica Cruz sighs. "I can't. Well, not using my ring. There is rules to being a Green Lantern." She then gathers up the two she has captured. With the data on her ring and the ledgers, she'll hope to do good. "I should leave you to your work. I want no part of any of this." She then shatters the window in the office, takes her two captives, and gets ready to depart. "I do hope our paths never cross again."

Domino has posed:
Domino smiles as she takes off.. It was a shame she couldn't get both of them, but she got close enough to one.. Just a scrape is all it takes though it might be away before they notice. She says nothing as Jessica flyies off through the window though she does shake her head. "Oh Boys!" calling the people who left and should be coming back to greet her soon. "It looks like the chaperone is gone.. How bout we finish what we started." and heads back towards the people that were left behind.

From a distance there could be heard several shots, followed by men yelling, though by the time the police get there she would be lone gone... With only one survior of this incident she would get paid a lot of money. Given the posion would take time on the one of the two that got away, she would still count that as a win, and count her lucky stars that she would never make such a silly oath to a ring of all things.

Green Lantern (Cruz) has posed:
Jessica Cruz takes her two captives and the data and prepares to take the two mobsters to the police. She wasn't monitoring their life-signs as she flies away - all construct activity disappearing with the Lantern's departure. She finally was alerted that one of the mobsters had died. Damnit - that bitch poisoned him. Too late. She just drops him off somewhere - not really caring - and takes the last one to the police station. She won't weep over a mob house being shattered. Might even sleep better tonight. She does dread meeting Domino again though.
