What do you mean it's not Winter
Date of Scene: 02 December 2018
Location: Unknown
Synopsis: Summary needed
Cast of Characters: Amarok, Star Shimmer, Stardust, Wonder Girl, Breath, Raven, Robin (Wayne)

Amarok has posed:
A couple days after Autumn's little trial, the comm suddenly lights up, the speaker crackling to life with a series of numbers on a robotic loop. It wouldn't take long for either Autumn her ring to divine it's meaning as coordinates, and from there, to narrow it down to a certain gaudy looking T on a small island in Nassau County.

Star Shimmer has posed:
Autumn is lounging at home. After clearing out the apartment and cleaning it up, The apartment is once again a rather comfy place. When the thing goes off, She snaps awake, "Whaaaa!" She quickly jumps up.

The numbers get her attention alright. Listening to them several times over, she has to actually think about it before it clicks just what it is. Grabbing her phone, she looks up the coordinates and realizes... "Its Titan's Tower? Okay that works." With that she locks up and turns off any lights that may be on. Then, she goes out the window and takes off towards the tower.

Amarok has posed:
The journey to the tower is uneventful, and when Autumn arrives, all is dark and quiet, save for a light emanating from the lobby entrance. Inside, sitting at the front desk, is Amarok, sitting perfectly still and staring straight ahead like a statue.

Star Shimmer has posed:
Autumn looks around outside the tower. Its really an amazing sight. When she realizes no one is there, She approaches the door, "Umm Hello? I was told to come here?" She states loudly. When the door opens she steps in and takes a look towards Amarok, "Ummm Hello?"

Amarok has posed:
As Autumn walks in, Amarok's head snapturns to look at her, holding for several creepy seconds before slowly standing up and walking around the desk, stopping a few feet from Autumn before holding his hand out, "....I'm going to need that communicator back." He says in his typical monotone.

Star Shimmer has posed:
Autumn blinks, "OH... Umm... I took the c4 out of it! You didn't tell me I shouldn't! I'm sorry!!! I just didn't wanna leave explosives around the apartment!!!" She comments as she goes for it. Quietly she hands the communicator to him.

Amarok has posed:
Amarok takes the communicator, then turns and walks back to the desk, tossing it haphazardly down before reaching around and grabbing another communicator from within it. He then turns and walks back over to Autumn, holding his hand out once more, "Welcome, to The Titans." He says with the tiniest hint of swelling pride behind his monotone as his LEDs meet Autumn's eyes.

Star Shimmer has posed:
Autumn blinks a few times, "Wait what?! I'm a Titan?!" She accepts the real communicator and with a smile, a pocket forms on her uniform. She slips the communicator into place and she grins. "So I can stay here now? What about my apartment?! I mean I just got it back and cleaned it but... I wanna stay here! This place is amazing!"

Amarok has posed:
"No." Comes the monotone, crapping all over Autumn's excitement, "You've been accepted as a probationary member. Prove your commitment and trustworthyness, and a room will be made available to you, along with the full facilities of the tower. For now, much of the tower remains blocked off to you, including the living quarters, unless you are accompanied by a fully recognized Titan."

Star Shimmer has posed:
Autumn frowns softly. "Ah well I can prove myself though." She takes a deep breath, "Alright, what do I need to do first then?" She asks softly. "Also its really dark in here. You know, you should light it up!" She raises a ringed fist and Chandelier forms in the room throwing violet light all over the place!

Amarok has posed:
Amarok stands stock still as Autumn moodlights the room, "....Answer when a call goes out, bond with your new brothers and sisters...." He pauses and looks up, staring at the chandelier for several seconds before looking back down, "....Dont disturb my lighting....Opportunities will come. You just need to take them when they do."

Star Shimmer has posed:
Autumn snickers, "I will be ready." She looks up at the light and smiles, "Hey, don't you know that you can hurt your eyes if you sit in the dark all the time? I'm helping!" She giggles.

Amarok has posed:
Amarok continues his blank staring....Well, probably, who knows what weird faces he's making under that mask, "...Light is dangerous to be in. In the dark, you can be anywhere, unseen, unnoticed. Darkness is safety, for those who know how to make it their own." He turns and starts walking towards the elevator.

Star Shimmer has posed:
Autumn looks at Amarok, "Darkness can be just as dangerous as the light. Moreso in fact. Take it from someone who experienced more than her share." She sighs and then turns to head out, "I will be ready whenever."

Amarok has posed:
Amarok speaks as he walks, "If anyone is going to lecture on the dark, it's going to be me. Now follow, I've set aside time for a tour and I dont intend to waste it." He stops and turns back around once in the elevator, standing ready for Autumn to join him.

Star Shimmer has posed:
Autumn turns and follows, "You aren't the only one who has been trained to use the dark to their advantage, okay?" She smiles and looks around. "I just prefer to be in the light. "

Amarok has posed:
Amarok waits in the elevator, "You were trained to use the darkness. I was bred to /BE/ the darkness. There's a difference." The monotone cracks a bit, taking an offended edge. When Autumn arrives, he hits the living quarters button, and the doors slide shut.

Star Shimmer has posed:
"You don't know how I was trained thank you. You know I'm a Star Sapphire, and unless you are Good friends with The Star Sapphire or One of the other Lanterns on Earth, odds are, you won't know much about those either." Autumn gives a little sigh, "Sorry. Just... Being talked down to is something I am far too familiar with and it hurts." She sighs.

The elevator dings and the doors open allowing everyone inside to exit. Autumn waits until Dan heads out after all, she is following. Not leading.

Amarok has posed:
Amarok walks out, not responding to Autumn's reply, "These are the living quarters. If you graduate from probationary status, you'll be given a room here. There's the kitchen," he points to direct Autumn's attention to it, "and there's the monitor." He points to direct her attention to the unmissable enormous TV across from the huge couch, "Let me know when you're ready and we can move on." With that, he steps over to the wall, and leans back against it.

Stardust has posed:
The lights are on in the large space that makes up the Titan's living quarters. They weren't on earlier, when Autum arrived at the dark tower. The enormous has cartoons on, though the sound is off. "Got bored of waiting on your dramatic reveal, Moon Moon." The sardonic voice comes from a figure sprawled on one of the sofas, apparently watching the silent cartoons. "Hope you don't mind."

The speaker is a young woman with shoulder-length blonde hair, wearing a domino mask and a full bodysuit with a jacket over it. The color scheme is two tone white and pale gray. If Autumn has been paying attention to the Titans, she'd guess that this is probably Stardust. 'Probably' because Stardust is an annoyance to cape spotters, wearing no symbol and changing her outfit literally daily. She has been fairly prominent in the Titans of late, but nobody knows much about her.

Stardust turns to look Autumn over. "So, this is the prospect. Hello, Prospect. Welcome to Titans Tower. Take a seat, there's no need to be marched around staring into every corner. It's not like it's for sale. You don't look very green for a Lantern."

Wonder Girl has posed:
Cassie Sandsmark heads out from the West Wing, striding briskly into the lounge. It's pretty clear she's not going to be stopping, as she heads straight for the elevator. At least until she spots the new arrival. She's dressed for a working in yoga pants, a close-fitting tank top and cross-trainers. The Greek-style sword and shield are a wee bit out of place, as is the golden lasso at her hip, but otherwise she could be just a normal girl.

"Oh! Excuse me. I'm Cassie, and you must be the new kid." Gesturing towards Moon-Moon, she offers. "Let me know if you can get him to say anything that's not snarky or rude. He's good at keeping things secure, but we're still working on his people skills."

Colette gets a wave as well. "I was just heading downstairs to run some training sims, unless we need any help with escort duty."

Breath has posed:
Breath looks up from a textbook and waves. "Hey! You made it! Bad-ass." She looks over at Stardust. "That's because she's purple, not green. Greens are all manly brow-furrowing. Purple is, like.. Kinda more Sailor Moon-ey. Or something. Anyways, she's pretty awesome. And hey, Cassie. Uh, I don't know, do we?"

Star Shimmer has posed:
Well. Now she's nervous. Instinctively her body begins glowing violet. Now she's ready if anyone wants to start shooting her! She gives a warm smile, "Hello. Yes I'm the new person. I was informed that I'm not a Titan yet. Just a newbie. and won't be allowed here just yet but this place really looks cool!" She nervously moves about.

"I am Umm... Nightingale... I guess. Or Star Sapphire... Not THE Star Sapphire. Just a Star Sapphire. I know I confuse people. I really need to come up with a better name." She sighs and looks at Colette and then at Cassie, Then of course to Breath.

She smiles again, "Nice to meet you, Miss, And you too Cassie." She looks at Breath again and she seems to ease herself a little, "Oh! Yeah! I'm really nervous. This is all really overwhelming."

Finally she collects herself, "Okay so, I'm not green because I'm not a Green Lantern. I am a Star Sapphire. I wield the violet light of love. It also means I am kinda more at risk of crazy stuff than a green is. You see, Violet Light is far more dangerous to wield because it presents the risk of losing ones self. There have been Star Sapphires who have really lost their minds. I won't go into just how crazy things can get but, lets just say, its a challenge." She blushes. Her eyes shift over to the Monitor and her eyes go wide. "teeeeeeecccchhhhhh...." She just starts floating in that direction. A chance to check out a full on Monitor is very much up her alley.

Amarok has posed:
Amarok turns his head slowly to Colette as she makes her presence known in her uniquely personable way, "Sounds like a volunteer to replace me. Good." He monotones before glancing to the arriving Cass, grunting irritably at her comments. Autumn's nervous babble warrant a few comments from him, "....Nightingale sounds fine to me.....Weaponized love sounds.....insane..." And of course a few grunts here and there.

Stardust has posed:
Stardust hops to her feet and comes over from the sofa to join the crowd greeting the newbie. She rests a hand briefly on Cass's shoulder as she passes. "Heya Cass! I heard you were back. Gonna be with us a while this time, or just passing through?"

Watching Autumn start to drift through the air, Stardust raises an eyebrow in Amarok's direction. "You recruited someone who uses love as a weapon. This seems most unlike you, Moon Moon. Are you unwell?" She folds her arms. "I never volunteer. And your prospect is escaping."

Hopping a foot or two off the ground, Stardust drifts after Autumn. "It's called a screen. It's something we have on planet Earth. Normally they are not this big. Why don't you take a seat on the sofa rather than floating? Sofas are another thing we have on planet earth. Normally they're not this big, either. But they are good for sitting on. And staring at big screens. I'm Stardust. Hi."

Wonder Girl has posed:
Cassie Sandsmark shakes her head to Breath, giving the sword a casual swing. As if it were a golf club or something. "I don't think so. I've been on Themyscira training with the Amazons for a while." Blonde brows lift and she looks over to Autumn again. "You're a Lantern? Oooooh! Violet, too."

She lowers the sword, letting it rest lightly upon the floor, point first. Listening as Nightingale explains, she nods slowly. "That makes a lot of sense, I suppose. But everyone here has their own little bag of special problems. It's what makes us all different, and what brings us together. We help each other. It's a big part of what being a team is all about."

She flashes a smile to Stardust, and it's a warm expression. "Going to be a while this time, Stardust." she replies. The girl is nicely tanned, and a bit more buff than usual as well. "Volunteer to replace Moon-Moon? Can't be me. I don't think I can handle the combat side of the job." the Amazon replies dryly.

Star Shimmer has posed:
"Errr You do know I'm from Earth right? Libby, Give the most recent scan of my genetics please?" Nightingale states.

"Certainly, Nightingale. Current scans indicate Nightingale to be of Human Origin, home planet, Terran or Earth. Sex: Female. Race: Caucasian. Sexual Orientation:"

"That's plenty!!! Don't need to say all of that!" The violet clad girl's face goes bright red. "Sorry. She overshares sometimes." Quietly she pours over the Monitor and tries to get an idea of how things work. "Sorry. I love tech. Even built my own computer but it got stolen while I was away."

Amarok has posed:
Amarok shrugs slightly at Colette's questioning of his decisions, "I didn't pick her. I got the recommendation, and she passed the tests. Her weapon of choice is irrelevant." Cassie's snark is also replied to, "You cant. But in a few decades you might be able to, on a lucky day." Naturally, everything he says is a monotone, so this sounds EVEN MORE condescending than it actually is. Which obviously, is quite. Autumn's boundaryless ring warrants a response of it's own, ".....Why would it even bother with that?" He asks in a confused monotone, because somehow a monotone CAN in fact have variance.

Breath has posed:
Breath nods vigorously. "It's true, she does. No filter At All. And this is totally my fault. I met up with her the other day when I was volunteering, and tried to help her out a bit. I gave her the card, and put the request in."

She rises and stretches a bit. "So yeah. Plus, she needed a place to stay too, because being off world totally jacks up the whole living situation thing, and that's not something you can just explain to a housing agency."

Stardust has posed:
"Never assume. Ever met a Kryptonian or a Daxamite?" Stardust asks as she floats down to resume sitting on the sofa. "You wouldn't tell they weren't human. Until they punch your face off. <<So how does someone from Earth become a Purple Lantern?>>" For the last sentence, Stardust drops quite suddenly into Interlac. She's pretty sure none of the others will understand it, but Autumn might.

"It's an A.I," Stardust answer Amarok. "Prone to literal responses and lacking in social graces until programmed or learned. Probably a young one. You should understand, Moon Moon. You're half robot yourself." She gives a quick wink to Amarok before turning back to the screen, watching more silent cartoons. "So. There is a new Titan. She has been here several minutes. Where are the pizzas? This is a puzzling turn of affairs."

Wonder Girl has posed:
Cassie Sandsmark squints at Amarok, hefting the sword to let the flat rest lightly upon her shoulder now. "Listen, Moon-Moon, my *worthiness* or lack of it isn't up for discussion." Yeah, he's starting to get under her skin. Giving him a final glare, she turns her attention to the others.

"So Libby is an AI who works with you? I'd kind of like to hear the rest of the report, actually. Or can Libby do similar scans on other people as well? If Moon-Moon is half-robot, I'm curious about the rest of him."

Raven has posed:
If there had been a Titans betting pool, and it had been for money, the amount that someone won on said pool when Raven actually leaves her room would be astronomical. As far as anyone knows, she hasn't for quite some time- ever since she'd been back, which has been a matter of days. It's not uncommon for her only to leave for specific necessities, but this has been a matter of days without her leaving her room at -all-. It isn't exactly a reason for most to be concerned, but it's still noteworthy. Especially since she probably hasn't eaten, and there's no guarantee she's slept, since she returned.

She doesn't commit to any conversations, looming quietly on the outskirts and making her way towards the coffee machine. Its time has come.

Star Shimmer has posed:
"Libby is the AI within my ring. So yes, I guess she would be a helper to me. She's tapped into the combined knowledge of all obtained by the Star Sapphire Corps. As far what she can get from you..." She aims her ring at Cassie and violet light pours out of it. It sweeps over her like a proper scan would. After a moment it stops.

""Scan of: Cassie, Of Human Origin. Home Planet: Earth or Terran. Sex: Female. Race, Demi-goddess."

Autumn smiles, "I can also understand most languages in the galaxy due to the ring translating for me. For instance, A few days ago I met Starfire and was able to communicate with her in her native language. to my knowledge there is only a single language that it can't translate and I don't know it so... yeah!"

Amarok has posed:
Amarok pushes off from the wall and walks to the kitchen area, pulling a stack of four pizza boxes out of the oven, "....They're cooled off, but should still be edible." He says as he sets them down, flips Colette off, and returns to his wall to continue propping it up. Cassie getting mad at his condescension goes totally ignored.....What a prick. When Raven vacates her room in a hunt for sustenance, Amarok's head turns to her, watching for several seconds before offering a nod and turning back to staring dead ahead.

Robin (Wayne) has posed:
Robin turns out from his room. Dressed in all of his uniform.

As always, he steps with purpose and determination. That was until he looked up to see everyone in the adjoining common room. His brow furrows. "No."

Damian keeps his bad attitude up and raring to go. "Absolutely not. No!" He's already crossing to the elevator/shaft to get out of this situation.

Stardust has posed:
"Rae! Come on over," Stardust calls out. "There are pizzas. You need to eat. The logic is inescapable." Already she's opening pizza boxes and offering slices around. Being flipped off by Amarok does not dampen her enthusiasm in the slightest. It's just Amarok being Amarok, after all. You worry what you've done to offend him if he /doesn't/ flip you off.

When Robin attempts top nope his way out, Stardust calls over to him. "Robin. There are pizzas. And you're not explaining yourself very clearly. Come on over, eat pizza, meet Prospect over here, and tell us what you're Noping about. You're not Batman yet, you don't need to mysteriously disappear all the time."

Breath has posed:
Breath sees a flicker of movement out of the corner of her eye. After a moment, it registers that it's Raven. Slowly, her brain ticks away, considering what she knows of Raven and what she might have been doing for a moment, then filing it awa-

-wait.

She suddenly swivels on the balls of her feet to face Raven, then looks over at Autumn. Then back to Raven. She pauses. Then she nonchalantly takes a half step back away from the arbitrary point in the room equidistant between them, out of due caution. She grins. No good can come of this, but that doesn't mean it won't be horrifically awesome. No movement toward the pizza just yet.

Wonder Girl has posed:
Cassie Sandsmark gives Moon-Moon no further attention, apparently thinking it's best to return the favor and ignore him as well. She's surrounded in violet light and she looks down at the nimbus. "Whoah..." Cassie doesn't exactly try to brush the aura off, but she does see if some of it sticks to her hand.

"I know a few languages, from travelling with my mom. She's an archeologist." She pauses, then adds. "At least I can order food in most places and I know a handful of swear words..."

Then Raven emerges to slink towards the coffee machine. She's quiet, but at least she's outside of her usual four-wall self-imposed exile. That's a good sign, in her mind. Robin comes in and declares his dislike for... something.

"I suppose room temperature pizza is better than nothing. Unless someone wants to order take-out." She pauses, adding. "I don't mind pick-up duty.

Robin (Wayne) has posed:
Robin raises a finger. "I can Nope whenever I want. And I say NO." Robin says, clearly and loudly.

"I don't know where she got a T-com but no." No apologies, no explanation so far. "I deal with enough already without having to keep up with everyone else's basic supplies."

Star Shimmer has posed:
Nightingale turns to see Robin. She gives a smile and a wave, "Hey. Don't leave so soon. We've met before right?" She smiles a little. Then she notices Breath's actions. Her attention goes to Raven and she gives a smile and a wave. Unknown to her, she is positively radiating love right now. Partially because Robin needs a hug. Partially because someone else seems completely shut off to it.

Her attention shifts over to Robin, "I passed your test. You want to test me personally? I'm game. You may think I'm some kind of space hippy but I assure you I am anything but."

Raven has posed:
Raven stands there at the coffee machine. It is very clear that her direct contemplation will make it bre faster, and therefore she doesn't look away from it. She responds to Colette- as that was the most direct anything she'd received, and what is happening in the room approaches Too Silly for her to regard.

"You have no proof that I need to do anything." Raven notes- and it's true. She's eaten before, but that's not proof. Damian does Damian Things, and Raven doesn't speak to him directly, but she -does- continue to bait the trap. "That is correct. If he were good enough to be Batman, we would not have heard him enter, nor leave."

Amarok has posed:
Amarok lazily drifts his gaze over to Damian as he tantrums, "Yes, I can see how busy you are with your delicate and even-handed leadership." He monotones at him from his corner before grumbling irritably, "....Something's prickling my skin.....Somebody check for a gas leak." He grunts out, the monotone dropping entirely into a plain and simple bad mood voice.

Robin (Wayne) has posed:
Robin turns sharply to Autumn and keeps that finger pointed upwards. "You left your power battery off-world as you left for assignment. You obviously do not respect the power you were given. And for that alone, I cannot consider you on the same level. You passed no test of mine. And you wouldn't."

It's obvious that Damian is something of a perfectionist.

"My commitments are various and sundry, Amarok. And NONE of your business."

Damian himself seems to be in that mood, back to the old Damian.

Stardust has posed:
"Robin, if you're gonna nope, tell us why you're noping," Stardust suggests. "'Cos you're our glorious leader and are supposed to be sharing your glorious wisdom. Space hippy?" She turns and stares at Autumn for a while, then looks back at Robin. "The love thing? Yeah, about that..."

Stardust takes a bit of pizza and makes a face, then shrugs and eats more. "It is kind a tepid. They're on speed dial, Cass. Just tell them to do the regular order. Maybe Raven will agree to bippety-boopity the pizzas over and you'll be saved the journey."

Wonder Girl has posed:
"First, I don't think she HAS a T-com yet." Cassie offers. "Second, if someone wants to make the *call*, I'm heading out to get pizza." Yeah, nevermind the yoga pants and Greco-Roman heavy metal. She probably figures there are too many personalities in the lounge already.

"I'll catch everybody later. And nice to meet you, Nightingale. And I was just going to fly over, Stardust." She casually leans the Amazon sword and shield against the nearest wall. "I need to get out. Somebody call ahead, then, otherwise I get to pick the toppings." And with that, the elevator dings.

Breath has posed:
Breath just sort've scratches the back of her neck a bit. Awkward. I mean yeah, but she wasn't exactly, you know, there to see what happened. And she should have expected Damian to go off on this. It's the sort of thing she's a bit careful about, not that it ever seems to help.

"I think he's upset because she left a vulnerability in her apartment and then went off world without it. I don't know WHAT might have happened, so I wasn't about to judge." She keeps an eye on Raven, not sure what's going to happen when she notices the happy adoration glow.

Star Shimmer has posed:
Nightingale gets pushed a little too far. "Since you are the expert, Why don't you contact one of the Green Lanterns on Earth here. Ask them if they take their Battery with them whenever they go off world. I guarantee they don't. Same goes for Star Sapphire and any other ring user on this damn planet. The only difference is I wasn't trained on how to properly hide it. But yeah, you probably know that, Right Robin? You probably know that I was called away because I wasn't trained here. Because, Queen Aga'po wants the best from us. I didn't expect some.... crazy wolf person to sneak into my apartment, swipe my battery and then stow it in a crack house in a room filled with women in cages!"

She frowns, "You know what, Fine. You don't want me here, I will go find someone who does want me around." She starts moving to the elevator and just stops for a moment. "You know, You failed my test. I always looked up to the Titans. This team was always just so cool and seemed to be so friendly..." She sighs and looks at Amarok, "Can you show me the way out of here."

Amarok has posed:
Amarok yet again responds to Damian's rage, though the tone reverts entirely back to the monotone when he does, "They are entirely my business, you know that as well as I do." At Cassie's communicator comment, Amarok pipes in again, "I gave it to her in the lobby. Need to re-bomb the test comm though...." At Autumn's own outburst, Amarok pushes off the wall and nods to her, "Right this way..." He walks back to the elevator, shooting Damian a presumed glare, no expressions on the helmet, on his way past him, waiting in the elevator for Autumn to join.

Breath has posed:
Face. Palm. The two meet.

"Great. Guys? Do we have to be jackass central?" Breath shakes her head in frustration. "Because, like, seriously? This shit is getting old." She sighs some. "I mean, we already tore up our team cohesion, why not chase people off too? GOD."

Stardust has posed:
"Nightingale, come back," Stardust calls out, her attention still on pizza. "Sit down. Robin is surly. Get used to it. Love without forgiveness is ill-advised. In your case, that's an understatement. Robin. Come back, sit down. You're supposed to be leading a team of new heroes. People who make mistakes, and can help each other to learn. She wasn't trained since birth like some people around here. If you're going to give up on everyone who makes a mistake, you're not much of a leader."

Colette looks down at the slice in her hand, head tilted. "It's kind a congealing... " She sighs, and puts the slice back in the box, then jabs a few buttons on her Titans com. "Hi, regular order for Titans Tower. Pickup is on the way, thanks." She leans back with a sigh. "I wonder if there's any pizza place where the pizza makers have been trained from birth in the most rigorous possible regime to make perfect pizzas."

Raven has posed:
There are enough people present, that Raven would have enough trouble keeping her composure and butting out if she hadn't fasted for several days. She probably wouldn't have been content doing nothing if the tensions of those present weren't running so high. The combination of the two pulls a level of maturity and dottering out of Raven that probably hasn't been seen in a while.

It begins with a startling and sudden call of "ENOUGH." from the woman in front of the coffee machine. There is, then, a sort of darkness- the kind that not even the light of a ring can penetrate. That such a thing exists might... Not be pleasant to the new Sapphire. Raven's wings, metaphysical they may be, extend throughout the tower at almost all times, when she is present. Flexing the mystical muscles like this is nigh akin to breathing when there isn't some Space Ballista shooting Energy Bolts at the tower.

Everyone save Damian finds themselves temporary in another place.

    Breath is in her room.
Nightingale is in the Lobby, facing the door.
    Colette is on the roof.
Amarok is thirty-five feet away from the western wall of the tower's roof. On the outside.

"Damian Wayne." Her voice echoes in the room that now only contains the two of them. "We all read the news. Those of us that know are aware of what happened. The -purpose- of this building, and the team that dwells inside is to stop mistakes like the ones she made from happening. If you react this way, you force out someone trying to help, and -because- of that, you may be the direct cause of their -death.- Grayson knew that. Figure yourself out."

All at once- likely several loops' worth of time for Amarok, who is teleported to the same point away from the edge of the tower roof every time he either reaches safety or is about to hit the ground- everyone is restored to the room. That Raven can negate their momentum and pull them back in like that- even the Sapphire, who likely intends to continue leaving- is just a new factoid about her ability to teleport people.

The positions are as if nothing has happened, but of course, for a while, they were not in the room anymore.

    "My Coffee is ready."

    Sip.

Robin (Wayne) has posed:
Damian had already been coming down from his anger, but the reaction from Raven gets him to blush slightly, even pout a bit, then he huffs, slumping in a chair and looking overall pissed-off still. For once, he didn't have anything to say. He pulls up that hood of his, lowering his head, and reaching at his ears, the white eyelets of his mask gone dark with his eyes closed.

Star Shimmer has posed:
Autumn stops as she is asked to stay. "If you honestly want me to stay, I will. I just don't want to be somewhere that I am really not wanted." She states this seeming more relieved than anything. In fact, a closer look at her glowing violet eyes would show that they are glassy. She was nearly in tears.

Thats about the point everything goes pitch black. The void of light and more startles her enough that she begins glowing brilliantly. That doesn't prevent her from appearing in the lobby however. "What the hell???" She comments as she looks around. "Okay I guess Raven can teleport people..." Then its right back to where she was. She's still glowing bright and her extreme level of love is flowing out of her like she's sprung a serious leak.

Amarok has posed:
Amarok prepares to hit the button, only to suddenly be a good eighty feet up from where he was, and nearly three dozen feet from the nearest ledge. As he start to drop, he twists and turns, barely managing to pull and fire his grapplegun before being out of range. Just when he's almost to safety, he's suddenly righ back where he was. This process repeats several times before he's suddenly back where he started in the elevator, whirling around in a panic. As he is almost reoriented, he lets out a feral roar and punches the elevator control panel hard enough to dent it so badly several floors become inaccessable, break the number reader, and completely mangle his own hand, before dropping down to hand and knees between the elevator and floor, panting with pain, anger, and confusion. A few moments later, his breathing regulates, and he looks at his badly broken and disjoined hand, ".....Ow." He says in perfect monotone before standing back up and attempting several times to press the medbay button to no avail. After that bit of failure, he walks back out and heads into the kitchen, pulling a small medkit from under the counter before attempting to remove his gauntlet.

Stardust has posed:
"Boundaries, Rae." Stardust leans back in the sofa, where she has been nicely returned, folding her arms behind her head. "So, we all good now?" She asks. "Has the evil elevator been defeated? Moon Moon, you're hard on the medical supplies. Are people gonna stop being weird?" She looks over to Breath with a broad grin. "Hey, Breathmints! Did you go anywhere cool? I went somewhere cool. There was like... magical floating rocks everywhere. I was just about to get a photo, but then I came back here.

Colette turns to Autumn. "So, this is a typical day at Titan's Tower. You get used to it. Did you volunteer to become a lantern? Or were you converted?"

Breath has posed:
Breath blinks, not having moved. "O....kay?" She looks over at Amarok, frowning. "Isn't there some bit of craycray ninja wisdom about not punching walls hard enough to hurt yourself? That looks like it hurt." To Colette, "Just makeup. You go somewhere cool. I got sent to my room." She pouts a bit, theatrically.

She looks at Rae, "Is it good coffee? Because I haven't had any, yet." She circles around to wander around the crowd and the pizza toward the coffee machine, and look for a mug.

Star Shimmer has posed:
Autumn turns her attention to Colette, "I see. Its cool. Well, As far as the power rings are concerned, they are typically drawn to a person who is the a strong candidate. My ring was drawn to me because I have great love in my heart. I am also one who has been very much hurt in the name of love. As the Star Sapphire oath states, For hearts long lost and full of fright, for those alone in blackest night. I lived this. I was one whose heart was shattered by those I loved but Even now, I can't not love them. My parents to be exact. They umm... Kicked me out almost a year ago now. I couldn't shut out that fact that I still love them and everyone around me. The only person I couldn't love at that time was myself. I learned to though." She smiles. "Then I got beaned in the head with a violet ring."

Amarok has posed:
Amarok silently goes about the task of prying off his scuffed gauntlet from his mangled hand and applying splints, before stuffing it back into the gauntlet and locking it back on like it's perfectly normal, all without one grunt of discomfort, disconcertingly enough.

Stardust has posed:
"Ah, love." Colette hops to her feet and heads over to the kitchen area, to explore the fridge. "Love conquers all, or so they say," she continues. "Only sometimes it launches a thousand ships and burns the topless tower of ilium while it's doing it. Do they teach that on Zamaron?" She comes out from the fridge with an assortment of cans of soda. "Drink, anyone?"

Raven has posed:
Eventually, Raven finishes contemplating her coffee. "It is adequate." she remarks, her dreary voice ringing out quite honestly from nowhere, as the conversation has gone a few lengths without her contributions. Dan has hurt himself. That is unexpected, but either way, Raven doesn't do anything about it.

"Love is overrated." She then turns from the coffee machine with a renewed cup, and makes her way towards the hallway that leads to the bedrooms. Her work here, for now, seems to be done.

Breath has posed:
Breath huhs and watches Raven walking away. Pretty blank face. "...I wouldn't know." She eventually pulls her eyes away from Raven and looks between everyone else.

"Uh. I have coffee..." She points at the mug she just filled, before adding a bunch of flavored creamer and grabbing an apple, leaning on the counter and watching the crowd now.

Star Shimmer has posed:
Nightingale smiles and looks down at the floor, "Not really. I was taught something much different on Zameron." She closes her eyes and thinks. "I was taught about one of the strongest loves that has ever been seen." Just the thought of it makes her radiate love.

She thinks a little "I can tell it if you want. Oh and I'm good. Don't need anything at the moment." She gives a smile to Raven as she starts walking off, "Or underrated."

Robin (Wayne) has posed:
Robin stands, not looking at anyone, and makes his way to the open shaft adjacent to the elevator.

He stands there a moment before jumping off, straight to the basement. He wouldn't be seen around the tower for a while.

Amarok has posed:
Amarok bends his arm back and forth, testing it's stability, before commenting, "...Love is the most powerful force in the universe....It is also an unwelcome distraction and the cause of more suffering than most anything else in human history." He says in his usual monotone as he puts the kit away before returning to his wall, waving off Colette's offer as he passes by.

Stardust has posed:
Stardust watches Raven's departure along with Breath, saying nothing. She watches Robin's with equal lack of reaction. "Fine. Nobody wants soda. More for me." She takes three cans with her and returns to the sofa.

"Thing is," Stardust drawls, "Nightingale, to me that sounds like they're missing an important lesson. You know, sometimes ancient aliens show up with powerful and mysterious technology that seems like it can be the solution to everything, and then tell you all kinds of useful things about how to use them. Always remember that just because they are a lot older than you, and seem to know lots about everything, that doesn't mean they should ever be entirely trusted. Even if they mean well. Know what I mean? My names Colette, by the way."

Star Shimmer has posed:
"I know. And I have learned more than a few lessons from just living here. For instance, I learned about Helen and the Trojan wars in school. I learned that so many people have twisted and perverted what love is and what it means. Its sad really. The lesson about the greatest love is actually the very heart of the Star Sapphire main battery. It is a huge thing for the corps. Lets just say, if I met the Reincarnation of those at the heart of the ring I wouldn't be able to function. I would be that overwhelmed."

She sighs, "A long time ago on Earth, in Egypt, there were two people, They loved each other so much. They married in secret and were killed for it. The love was so strong... When they were reincarnated, they met again, fell in love again. It has repeated countless times. Every lifetime, they meet each other and fall in love all over again. The remains of the two... They have been preserved in the battery. Their love a beacon to the universe."

Stardust has posed:
Stardust listens to Autumn's story, and after a few moments deep contemplation, offers a shrug of her shoulders. "Sounds a bit cult-y to me. Just be careful, yeah?" She glances over in the direction Raven departed. "Oh, and word of warning? Raven's complicated. You may feel at some point that she needs your intervention. That the precepts of your order almost demand it." She turns back, looking Autumn right in the eyes. "Don't. Take my word on this. Some stones are best left unturned. I don't mean this in an 'it'll be a challenge' way. I mean it in a 'Do not press the red button' way.

Stardust's portentious words are punctuated with a chime on the comms. "Ah. And that means it's time, Rookie." She smirks slightly. "You are about to witness and participate in the most secret and dangerous of rites. Now is the time to prove to us you truly have what it takes to be a Titan. By which I mean, Cassie has returned with the pizzas!"

Star Shimmer has posed:
Nightingale smirks, "Well I guess you will get to see what a Star Sapphire can do when there is Pizza on the line!" She gives a little laugh and makes an oversized pizza cutter construct.
