Cast of Characters: Green Lantern (Jordan), Superman, Aquaman

Green Lantern (Jordan) has posed:
It was a quiet day in Earth Orbit on the Watchtower. The last shift had gone well, and nothing had attacked or destroyed the Earth in the last few hours at least. Hal Jordan was just finishing his mission monitor duty, and walking down the hall to grab a coffee before signing off, when he says, "Now, do I head back to Earth, or head out to space and the Sector? Hmmm." Hal shakes his head and frowns, deciding.

Superman has posed:
"You could always earn Brownie Points and take Batman's next monitor shift." Superman says already holding a cup of hot coffe. "Or take one of mine, seams bad stuff only happens when J'onn is on duty."

Green Lantern (Jordan) has posed:
Almost starting at the sound of Superman's voice, Hal Jordan chuckles nervously, and nods. "True. He does seem to be unlucky like that." Hal shakes his head, and grabs a cup of coffee. "Is it your shift this time around then? Mine is just finishing up. Or was it Aquaman's? I probably should have looked at the shift schedule. I know it's not Barry's, or he'd be late anyway." Hal smiles, joking of course. Maybe.

Superman has posed:
"It's mine, I stopped by on my way here and got one of those Chicago Hero Sandwiches." Superman says as he takes another sip of coffee. "So, I'll take it that nothing bad has heppend? No big robots? None of the known criminals are causing a rukus? I mean, I helped a little old lady across the street AND got a cat out of a tree, good deedws, but no big ones... yet."

Green Lantern (Jordan) has posed:
"Ah, good idea. Those sandwiches are amazing." Hal Jordan nods, and takes a sip of the coffee. Grimacing, he adds a bit of milk and sugar, and says, "There, that should be better." Turning back to Supes, Hal says, "Nope, nothing bad happened. No catastrophe's, yet. Better not say too much, or we'll jinx it." Hal laughs, and says, "Cat and old lady. Wow, boy scout merit badge day or what?"

Aquaman has posed:
Aquaman steps in and stretches, his long blonde hair spilling down over his shoulders, "I mean, if you don't count the giant psychic mushroom apocalypse down in Mexico. But Iron Man seems to think he's 'got that'," he says, making air quotes, "So I guess as long as the Earth doesn't suddenly plunge into chaos, we're probably okay. Oh, and J'onn wants to go to the Himalayas to get some sort of mystic artifact spear. And there's a girl Green Lantern lurking about, but you probably knew that, right, Hal?"

Superman has posed:
"I've actualy never joined the Boy Scouts, though I get the reference, I can build a fire too. The fungus is Ironman's job, and I've met the Lantern's youngest member." Superman says and then get's an idea. "Hal... Mind if I teach her how the monitor womb works?" He asks, maybe a way for the all to get alittle less time in that boring room.

Green Lantern (Jordan) has posed:
Turning to nod at Aquaman, Hal Jordan says, "Ah! Good to see you! Yeah, Jessica Cruz. She got a ring a while ago, and helped show her the ropes a bit, before shipping her off to Oa. She's a "junior" member of the League, with some potential there." A pause, "Oh and yeah, thanks for the update. I heard Iron Man was involved in that thing the other day in Mexico."

Hal takes another sip of coffee. "Better keep an eye out for J'onn then Superman. If he's onto something, I'm sure it will be catastrophic." Hal grins. "Sure, you can teach her Clark. I'm okay with that."

Aquaman has posed:
Aquaman liberally douses his own coffee with creamer and sugar, shaking his head, "Why did we call it a womb? Whose idea was that? It was Bruce, wasn't it?" he says.

"J'onn seemed to feel fairly urgent about it. Apparently he's been talking to Dr. Strange a great deal and was given it as a sort of 'mission'." he says. "Yeah, she seems like a good kid. We can always use more Lanterns."

Superman has posed:
"I'll keep an eye on him, and I think it was Bruce that named it." Superman says as he finishes his coffee. "More Lanters are good, so long as they are of the god type. I don't think Hal wants to see Sinestro here causing problems." he says. "Neither do I, last thing we need is our villains with yellow rings."

Green Lantern (Jordan) has posed:
"Yeah, you are right Clark. It was Bruce. He has a...interesting sense of humour." Hal Jordan takes a sip of the coffee, and nods, as it tastes a lot better than the first sip. Looking first at Arthur and then back at Clark, Hal nods emphatically. "Exactly! No Sinestro's or Arkillo's or worse." Hal chuckles. "As for Jessica, she is a good kid. A little.."rookie-ish" but getting there. A good addition when I'm not around." Hal puts his hand up to forestall the jest, "I know, I'm away a lot." Hal smiles.

Aquaman has posed:
Aquaman shrugs, "I can hardly judge anyone for being away. I have an entire undersea world for which I am responsible. And they get a bit cranky when I spend too much time up here. But I've always been a man of both worlds and, until one of them can topple me from the throne, they'll just have to deal with it. Privilege of royalty and all that," he says.

Superman has posed:
Superman smiles. "It's good to be the King?" He asks before he nods to both of them. "Anyway, let me get my shift started, Hal, if you get ahold of the rookie, send her in... Maybe she can help lighten the amount of monitor watch we do."

Green Lantern (Jordan) has posed:
"Hey, I get it Arthur. A lot of additional responsibilities, just like I have with the Corps. Takes up a lot of time!" Hal smiles, and finishes off his coffee. "It can be difficult to try and fit in both worlds, and heaven knows it is hell on relationships." Hal looks at Superman and nods. "If I see her, I'll send her along. Thanks for doing that!" Hal moves to leave as well. "Nice to see you Arthur! Later Clark!" With that, Hal floats above the ground, and heads to the Teleporter.

Aquaman has posed:
Aquaman smiles, "Well, it's certainly better than NOT being the King. There are definitely downsides but, if you're offered a throne, you should definitely take it. Although I bet you wouldn't. Always making the rest of us look bad," he says to Superman, giving a wink and raising a hand to Hal as the Lantern departs.
