Wonder Woman has posed:
Diana was out and about in Metropolis today, she'd been making public appearances at various holiday related events going on around the city and as such she was in full gear with a dark navy blue robe over her shoulders and descending down over her armored body. She'd been posing for pictures with Santa Clauses and with all the kids who'd come to see the bearded present giver.

It was a fun time of year for her, she enjoyed it every year and all the happiness that it brought to little ones... sure the adults seemed to be usually stressed out but she did her best to help them feel happier as well.

In the moment, Diana is standing near to the side of one of the festivity events, things were calming now and she was being instructed on her next task for the day by an assistant that helped organize all of these things, the assistant is a middle aged woman, considerably shorter than the Amazon Princess who's standing tall with her dark brown hair loose and gently waving in the cool December breezes. They are casually talkint/discussing and preparing for the rest of the afternoon and evening.

Domino has posed:
It actually started with a joke... Yea she could take her if she had to, but that was a few months ago by now. Prone on a building just a few houses down laid a woman in all black though looked abnormally pale. Currently sitting infront of her are two things a half eaten MRE, as she had been there for a while, and a gun that seemed as large as her. She had been tracking Diana, well not personally, but enough to get some patterns down as she knew it would have to be an ambush. She had watched the tapes of her fighting, and even timed out her movements, though it was all just bad news. She had no idea how this was going to go down, but she had brought some tricks that saved her life in the past. Domino would have to just hope it would be enough, as no-one in her field even had the guts to try what she was about to.

She had multiple things, ready to go but what she was most proud of would be her opening gambit. She could afford to take no half-measures against her so she brought out Sam.. Sam was a long range anti-tank balistic projectile that she had been saving for a specific occastion. She was hopping it wouldn't kill her, as she wanted her alive, but she would be caught if she held back even a little bit. With a deep-breath as Diana steps out into the open.. "Here we go.." is all she says, with a pull of the trigger. The recoil would be deafening, and there would be no doubt where it came from, as she isn't tring to hide only get the sneaky first blow.

Wonder Woman has posed:
The thing about bullets versus Diana's reflexes is that when they do get fired at her, she's so unbelievably fast that she can literally watch the bullet fly through the air with the same focus that a normal person can watch a pedestrian walking down a street.

And the thing about Diana's hearing is that its so focused and tuned to the world around her that she can hear things across the way with clarity as though it was happening right beside where she stands.

So when the high velocity rifle is fired from the rooftop two things happen, Diana can hear the blast and pinpoint its place of origin and she can look up and see the dead pointed bullet traveling toward her. Her reaction? She reaches up and pushes her Assistant to the side, she tosses her robe off of her shoulders and she raises her bracer-encased forearms... and intercepts the bullet with a splash of fanning-out sparks!

And now? And now Domino will see Diana running right for her, closing the distance between them at a very rapid speed, faster than any Olympic athlete.

Domino has posed:
The woman see's the deflection, and smiles.. It would of been too easy, as she stands not running away from the litteral Olynpic athlete. She pulls two pistols out that have large clips as Diana gets closer the look of calm determination on her face as she pulls the trigger on what seem like way less threating of bullets at her just more. What Diana may not know is it took weeks to make these bullets, the large caliber wouldn't work at this point, so she had shaved each bullet individually. What change may that make, well not much, unless you try to deflect them as they are not shaped like regular bullets.

The other people around them would make deflecting them dangerous or so Domino hoped as Domino knew she was luckier then a random killing. So she would keep firing, waiting for Diana to get closer, if she did like before at some point she would jump up here, and when that happened she would trigger the trap door below her to drop her the ten feet to the ground. One other thing she had a jacket on now that looked like it was made out of some cloth. It was in a pack, and just incase exactly this happened as close range this just got way more dangerous.

Wonder Woman has posed:
Its been a hundred years since Diana had left Themyscira, over 100 in fact. And in that period of time she's been fighting nearly constantly and she's described the foes she's faced as growing ever more dangerous and ever more threatening to the peace of the world as a whole. Perhaps not to her always, though she's certainly faced some challenging foes that have pushed her to her limits, but threats that outweigh guns and ammo... by tremendous marks.

Diana DOES charge at Domino's position, she DOES deflect the rounds of ammunition fired at her from the twin handguns, but she expertly deflects the bullets up into the air or straight down into the ground just in front of her or just beside her!

She also DOES leap upward and with an arching perfection she lands, right on that trap door! It triggers and it opens and for a second she DIPS but... Diana can fly. So that second of a dip in her position only results with the woman in blue/red/gold now hovering where she stands in the space where the trap door had been.

Suddenly she lunges straight up into the air and her lasso is pulled from her belt! It flashes to life in a brilliant display of golden rope and it lashes out toward where Domino is, hoping to ensnare her attacker in its searing hot and unbreakable bond!

Domino has posed:
Domino does exactly as planned though the lady still stands infront of her, or well slightly above her. With the Laso coming you swear you have her the laso is around her shape, and your pulling it close, but like a high-jumper she bends her body so when it closes down it is on an empty jacket. You see her land on her shoulder, and take the hit rolling forward she junps not away, but towards you as she reaches out to try to grasp you legs to pull herself up like Diana was a climbing device. She moves quick, but at high human speeds with no hesitation at all with all the failures up to this point. She had only Diana in mind right now, with only one goal.

This whole time as Domino has been moving the little clinking would be dropping off of her. Trying to draw focus, but away from what... As the dozen of flashbangs that were in the Jacket go off at once. Domino is already in the air jumping towards her goal ready for what was coming next hoping that would buy her a little more time.

Wonder Woman has posed:
The lasso wraps around the jacket as it comes off of the woman and the flashbangs detonate with a fierce brightness that causes Wonder Woman to close her eyes up where whe's hovering a good ten feet off of the roof's surface.

Domino will be able to grasp onto one of her armored boots but when the added weight is felt, the result will be Diana flying further upward! This is where Domino may rethink her desire to scale the Princess as they're now starting to gain altitude and the ground disappearing beneath the Mercenary who's trying to best the Amazon.

Height is achieved at an alarming rate and Diana looks down toward her target now with her eyes refocused after the flashbangs. She curls a up and moves to reach down for the woman to grasp hold of her!

Domino has posed:
As she lifts Domino shows great upper-body strength not climbing but lifting her body to wrap around a leg. Flipping around Diana can now see Domino though she seems to have something in her mouth now. It looked like she expected her to go to atmospher, as she already brought what she could. She had already lost her other suit in the flashbangs so she couldn't make it to space so with time a ticking she sighed, and opened up the bag marked do not open. Though as she rummeges through it, and it might look like that is where she will be when you grab her. She stop, and points.. She can't speak because of the rebreather, but she can point.. and she is pointing behind you.

Most of the time things work... Bill just flies his plane with the proper paper-work, and takes a quick shortcut through here.. No problems. This was not Bill's day as a woman currently holding another woman shoots into the air right infront of him. Of course he is trying to correct, but will prob make it worse pulling madly to the side.

With a cold smile this is when she finds what she is looking for.. Seeming to hit the back of her Diana's leg as she kicks off her back towards the ground. Seeming to fall very quickly towards what seems hard road.

Wonder Woman has posed:
The altitude is gained quite quickly indeed and that poor pilot is suddenly met with the sight of the two women, with one of them lunging/detaching from the other... leaving just Diana there to have to sweep her body off to the starboard side of his plane and NARROWLY avoid it, she actually glances her boots off of the wing but the smooth surface does nothing to her feet as it soars past.

With a heavy, if not annoyed and tired exhale, Diana re-angles her body downward and she SHOOTS after Domino's tumbling forward, now grasping her lasso in both of her hands she flies right AT the descending/free falling woman, intending to wrap her up and capture her before she splats into the ground!

Diana descends quicker than Domino to achieve this, moving at tremendous speeds in fact, making it nearly impossible to avoid her in the Mercenary's descent.

Domino has posed:
As she corrects the planes trajectory by a quick tap in the right place to counter the wild pull Domino is just falling. She waits calmly watching her as she falls seeming oblivious she just waits.. Right when your about to throw the laso she hits the button. The C-4 she put on her back would go off, and Domino would remind herself.. No half-measures she was dealing with Wonder Woman.. She hoped to throw he off long enough so when she expanded her suit to slow her fall into a passing matress truck Diana wouldn't be right there hoop her again.

So she hit the button, kicked open the suit, and went to the ground where if she could pull this off it would take them to the carpark.. which is where she could do her last trick. She realizes this feeling around in the bag, and touching one last thing in it. She sighed because this one was a long shot even compaired to what she has done up to now.

Wonder Woman has posed:
The explosion certainly causes Diana to have to veer off on her descent and it gives Domino time to complete said descent into that luckily timed mattress truck. Of all strange things to suddenly pass a person at such a convenient moment.... but Diana doesn't have to to worry about that, instead she waves her way around the explosion and then... she's gone.

Wonder Woman literally disappears into thin air in the sky.

A split second later and there's a screeching sound in the air, an otherworldly screaming sound in the sky, and its coming after the truck that Domino is attempting to flee in, its resonating all around it in the sky in fact as though its right above the truck itself!

Domino has posed:
Not sure what is going on as the rumble comes she is already hopping out of the truck into the carpark. As she rolls and ducks off the truck, and into the enclosed carpark she had aimed for earlier, although empty as the drivers had already parked, it was full of cars to hide behind. Also as Domino entered she was throwing out a heavy fog, that kind of reminded you of someone, but if second rate as the fog more clumped out still doing the job of helping hide her, but it might not last as long.

Unfortunetly the surface entrance was too small for a jet, as it had the wall in the middle with not being near tall enough for sideways, and the entrance at the top was the same made for cars. She was going to need to go in and get her, but there were only two ways out through the top.. Or through this exit.

Wonder Woman has posed:
The jet touches down as close to the scene as its able to and Diana disembarks from the interior and appears again once more beside it, having walked down the invisible boarding ramp and re-emerging into the visible world.

She simply turns toward where the smoke is and starts to thusly walk toward it as well. It doesn't make her eyes water, or her choke or cough. No, she just walks right through the smoke with little hesitation or resistance from it at all.

What HAS changed about Diana now though is that she's holding her sword and shield. The sword is gripped in her right hand and the shield in her left. She's got the lasso coiled once more to her hip and she's stalking though the smoke simply looking for Domino as one might a lost pet.

Domino has posed:
As you enter it is silence for a moment as she enters it seems like just some cold run of the mill place. After a moment a voice comes from your left, "So... Bullets are a no, explosives are a no, not that I thought they would be mind you but a girl's got to try" then silence again. You hear scurrying, but it could be a rat as it wasn't by the voice and mans world was often messy. As one might head towards it another voice, well same voice different location, "I see those flashbang's hurt a little, and you totally lost control of those bullets.. Though I will give ya smart to just shoot down with them." and a little laugh.

She hasn't jumped out even now she waits calmly only moving when she needs to.. She waits with a small smile, though that smile seems hidden behind a mask of some sort that covers her face.

Wonder Woman has posed:
Diana continues to stalk through the parking area, her eyes scanning from left to right whenever something makes a noise or speaks with the sound of a voice. She finds it and locates it and then moves on to the next, while she just calmly walks with her weapons at her sides.

"Enough of this." Diana finally says then. "If you have some issues with me then you should face me and speak of them as a true warrior. Not one who hides and uses games and tricks to try to lure their prey into submission. Face me and face your destiny, prove that you are a true champion and not some tiny scared person.

She turns then and readjusts her grip on her shield, feeling a little antsy by all of this, afraid that this person may harm others as she'd nearly harmed so many all ready.

Domino has posed:
The lady under the mask rolls her eyes, and stands up slightly in where you see why she lead you away with the voice. If ya had continued your original path you would of found her, and she had not dared move to make a sound so distracted you with another device. She eyes you with a cold stare, and just reaches over and pushes a button. From the side another recording starts, "Govermental Industrial Seditive also seems not to work." and then "Fine.. it usually comes to this anyway" comes from somewhere else, and tosses the box. There is no reason to jump at her as she walks slowly forward even in this she doesn't look too woried.

She doesn't have her hands up, but it does look like she is moving into a more open area... She streches her neck out a bit keeping an eye out for the lunge as she really did not think she would wait for long. She had no idea how she was going to hurt her, but wasn't time to think about that right now. She pulled a small K-bar out holding it down in a defensive manner as she got ready to fight Diana in a cloud of sedative with a mask..

Domino actually laughed to herself... Maybe she really was hanging out too much with crazy.

Wonder Woman has posed:
Diana steps out to where she now sees the woman was originally in the direction she had been going before. She moves toward her now until she comes to a stop and she stares at her, her chin slightly lowered. "You have endangered countless innocents." She speaks to her foe. "You have put their lives at risk for what?" She asks flatly. "For a vendetta?"

Her chin raises and she stares more flatly at the other now. "Then you may speak now and tell me what it is that you are here for? Because you will not be able to best me in a fight. That much I promise you. I give you this chance, and this chance alone, to put down your weapons and call this to an end. You are my prisoner now and I will take you in, for justice, for what you have attempted to do here today."

Diana doesn't seem to WANT to fight, but she very rarely ever actually does. She was trained TO fight for a thousand years now, but that doesn't mean she enjoys doing if ro any other reason other than preserving the safety of those around her, those who do not deserve to have their lives unfairly placed in harms way... as this foe has done repeatedly now today.

Domino has posed:
The other lady looks at her and then at the blade tilting her head in confuion. She doesn't speak but doesn't move forward either as you speak she just stands patiently listening. After her speaking the lady in black just shrugs, and puts the knife away, and starts making her way to the exit. She would try her skill against her in hand to hand another day if that is what she wanted, honestly nothing had worked up to this point she was going to have to rethink her strategy.

She thought of why, and that brought back Damian tied up waiting to be used as bait, when he asked her the same thing.. Of course she lied and told him it was the money, but it wasn't.. no.. She was no god, she was touchable, and Domino would prove it. Not out of fear or anger... Just because of the challenge to bringing the princess down a single notch. She smiled at her and nodded as she started walking away from this fight... just watching her with those cold eyes.

Wonder Woman has posed:
Diana can't really take no for an answer in this situation because this woman put innocents in danger, there was no letting her walk away from this. This was her duty to stop people like Domino, who used whatever power it was she clearly possessed to place others in danger with such a carefree attituede about it all no less!

So when Domino turns and non-chalantly attempts to walk away from her. Its then that the princess strikes again and she does it at blazing fast speeds, her shield comes up and she charges Domino with it! Moving like a truck she charges the woman attempting to bash her and knock her down to the ground!

Domino has posed:
Thankfully one does not need the speed of hermes when one charges another from that distance, she is already moving as you charge forward steping back into a nearby car to fling herself over you in a motion of smooth acrobatics. The K-bar is back out, and she wags a finger at her, as it would not be that easy. She wasn't some green fighter herself, and has fought through dozens of mutants. Strong ones that could of killed her with a single hit, fast ones, even ones that just would not die no matter how much you stab them. She spent the time watched her fights saw how she moved, and yes she couldn't copy them as that would be creepy and would hate that power, she did know some of what was coming.

She dances backwards a bit to keep her distance holding the K-Bar infront of her defensivly she seems to always be moving slightly backwards yes, but side to side just movement to make it that much of a harder target. She had offered to have her walk away then attacked her.. Domino didn't feel betrayed, more surprised that she would do so, maybe this wasn't such a wasted trip after all.

Wonder Woman has posed:
Diana plants her feet and adjusts her posture so that she's once more facing the nimble woman. She turns and glares at her and then proceeds to move forward on her, not really worried about the wapon that the woman holds, she in fact drops her should with a thud on the ground and draws the lass out once more.

She rushes at Domino then, swipes her sword at the woman's midsection and then dives down to sweep her right leg out at the other's knees, she moves very fast, like a bullet all her own!

Domino has posed:
Domino smiles when you drop your weapon though blocked with the mask she sighs, and shakes her head. She puts away her knife as well, and pulls out a bag that says simply.. 'Do Not Use' she looks at you one last time and stops. Almost like a disapointed look on her face as you charge forward, and it would of worked had she not already pushed the button as "Womph" hits shaking everything around them. This knocks Domino off course as the sweep comes in and it becomes a clipping blow other then a solid one.

Domino goes down, but is rolling already as the whole building is starting to crack around you.

This whole last jaunt must of been a trap to lure the fight right here. The building was colapsing she had made sure of that, and that kick had sent her right towards one of the nearer cars. Another piece gives, and the floor wobbles a little bit in the meantime.

Wonder Woman has posed:
When the building starts to rumble, Diana knows what the woman has done. She flips backward and lands again on her armored boots. She walks toward her shield and gathers it up with a lift of her right toe, then slides it onto her back. Her eyes go to the car that the woman had gotten into but she doesn't have time to get across to her, so she just lunches out the roof of the building and into the air.

Her motion outside now takes her on a lunging arch that leads down to land on the ground in front of the parking facility. She turns them to hold up her shield again and blocks the debris as she awaits the end results of all of this.

Domino has posed:
As the Car-Park comes down around her she just shakes his head. She hated using his plans, but she stole this one from an old mission they had. It would take her a while to get out from underneath the pile as the building collapses. One might even have to be lucky to survive, but Diana had no idea what was coming after her not yet. She had refrained from using her powers more then she absolutly had to just to get out of some small scrapes, but she didn't want to show all her tricks. No it was time to use that luck to find something that would work because next time she wouldn't hold back.

As the cars, and building come down from the outside that someone survived this would be astonding, and you didn't see her teleport, fly, escape the property. But maybe deep down you would know she isn't dead... Maybe feel those cold eyes watching you from the shadows. Or go to lunch, and forget bout it as no real harm done. Either way right now this fight was over.
