Cast of Characters: Hela, Battleborn, Black Queen, Ekaterina Vespucci

Hela has posed:
Hela has only been on Midgard for a short while, but already she had seen and learned of enough disturbing thing. This country, once one of the main hubs of Viking culture, has been so greatly reduced. No longer is valor celebrated, but some nonsese variant of governing where all are allowed everything regardless of class and power. Worst of all, barely any worship if at all of the Asgardian Gods in general, and for herself in particular. She naturally blames it all on Odin and his unforgivable mistake. Sadly, someone else already killed him for it. And even worse, that someone is dead himself, so even her revenge for stealing her revenge, was taken from her. What a cruel, cruel fate.

Standing at the bank of the fjord, Hela glances at the serene water, and reflects on great glories of the past. How she misses them.

Battleborn has posed:
Glory? Helena has seen enough Glory in her over 40 years of life to make most people sick of it, but, being an asgardian hybrid does come with it's failings, the rush of a fight, the thrill of conquering the unconquerable, she will always fight the good fight, though, ever since she arrived in norway to visit some of her Mother's 'Kin', somthing hasn't been right.

She sees that somthing when she finaly walks up to the Fjord. Wearing her mother's armor, Valdisdottr steps next to Hela as she looks over the Fjord. "I am no Vakyrie, but I feel your call, why?" She says, there a very strange addditude to her... very.. American.

Black Queen has posed:
Honor? Glory? People actually live by codes? Selene is shifting from the darkness, moving in from a wisp of a shadow, and forming as she's walking into a solid figure. She's a distance from the bank of the Fjord and looking around. Her eyes scan over the area and with her comes the death toll. Yeah, sure, there's a lot of death lingering around the goddess of Death as well.

There's a difference though for anyone who can feel the ebbs and flows of magic, or psychic energy. With Selene's presence she brings along with her the dead. Countless thousands, if not over a million souls screaming pain, horrified by their last moments here on Earth, stuck to Selene and unable to leave her. She carries them with her like a balloon attached to a child's wrist by a string. Happy to have them, and unimpeded by their boisterous tormented experience. For those not able to sense those things, a smiling attractive brunette is walking in heeled boots, a black coat that she keeps open enough to reveal that fact that she wears nothing underneath of it but a pair of boyshorts. Though, almost magically, it never gets so far open as to show any indecency... just terribly terribly close. It is the Black Queen.

Ekaterina Vespucci has posed:
No shimmer no shine - there is another immortal immerging at this penultimate destination of the Fjord. Ekaterina Vespucci emerges with her easel nudging weith little respect poor Hela to get a better view. "Sorry..." She manageds to Hela and "Battleborn," The small enthusiastically animate little creature says of Helena's emergence. But no new personage is met with as much enthusiasm, as the horror who emerges with a thousand silent screams behind her. Kat looks to Selene and imnmediately shouts - "Selene!" She goes for the hug - but can even the Black Queen defend the attack!?

Hela has posed:
Hela turns to look at Helena with surprise when she just waltz' up to her, with little hesitation, and outright speaks of the call she sent out to the Valkyrior. Not just that, she's also stressing how she feels it, knows what it is, and all despite not being a Valkyrie. Needless to say, that woman is not like the others. Hela turns to look at Helena in confusion. "If you're no Valkyrie, how came you by Valkyrie armor? How do you know of the calling, or that I am the caller?" The questions are asked with disdain, and the look she gives Helena is not necessarily a friendly one. Though it is most certainly one of interest.

But today is a day for all manner of anomalies, when Selene lurks into the scene, immediately drawing Hela's attention. For she can sense, see and understand that Selene is yet more unlike the others than Helena. She is no Goddess, to be sure, not a real one at least. But she is no mortal, not in specific terms. Odd is what she seemed. For the time being Hela just stares at Selene. It's a notice, she saw her, she is aware of her, and she's interested to know. But she doesn't ask verbally, having better decorum than what Helena just presented.

Then a third ruins her quiet reflection, going the extra mile of actually bumping into her. Hela hisses quietly as her patience is tested. She turns to look at Ekaterina, and that one too is unique. What is it with this fjord and bringing about nothing but anomalies. Seems like a place of power in Midgard, of all things, who would have thought?

Before she can even offer anything for the insult, Ekaterina is already rushing to attack Selene with an embrace, at the least she proved useful. There's a name given. "Selene...named after a Goddess," she smirks, maybe there's more than meets the eye with this Selene.

With all this curiosities surfacing about, for a moment, she loses focus on Helena, even though she's right there by her side.

Battleborn has posed:
Helena is about to answer when she sees Selene, and blinks a few times, before almost wincing at Ekaterina bumping into Hela, as she is about to say somthing to the pint sized artist.... the little one attacks the dark one. "This should be interesting..."

Though, she does say in an aside. "My mother warned me about you, Death Goddess. She was... well... is a Valkyrie, and her armor was a comming of age gift to me, though, maybe she will appear here as well." She says, having questions for Valdis. Though she never takes her eyes off the two externals, wondering exactly how this will play out. "Forgive the lack of decorum, but even the allfather wouldent get much more out of me." Yep... American.

Black Queen has posed:
It is basically impossible to sneak up on, or otherwise surprise as powerful of a telepath as Selene. She simply turns to shadow at the last moment. And then reforms into a person again, moments afterward. At this point she is looking at her nails, "Listen Kat, there are some rules to be had. About..." She pauses a moment, and then turns her head again, looking the direction of Helena and Hela. Who the hell are these people? She raises a brow at the strangely armored woman giving her the eye, and she waits a moment tilting her head, "Hello? Can I help you?"

The woman in the limited black clothing speaks up, so as to minimally call out the relatively small distance to the other woman in black, though Hela's much more covering. "I apologize for the clearly rude interruption of ... well well, Death Goddess?" There is a smile that perks up on her lips, and as if completely forgetting that Ekaterina is even there, she starts to walk in the direction of said Death Goddess, and stops a few feet from her and she looks over Hela, "Strange. Asgardian, but old... a bit... out of style I would say. Clearly, missing a helmet... gaudy things, really, but all of your kind tend to dress horrifically. It is like the entire plane is completely out of touch with what is stylish, or even remotely attractive. Except of course, that Loki fellow, he is rather fun..." She pauses and looks over to Helena, glancing at her, up and down, just grimaces a little bit, clearly showing off an expression of 'far far worse'.

Ekaterina Vespucci has posed:
'Rules Selene about?" Ekaterina, "Gah I give up - I waa wanting to do a riverside landscape and I can capture it unbelievably accurately. Do you care to all pose and make nice by the roadside. Selene - can I give you a torch?"

To Hela "Who are you?" - gesturing to Hela - "This is my sister. You feel very Norse?"

Hela has posed:
A sure way to win Hela's attention is doing precisely what Helena is doing, someone who was untouched by Odin's efforts! Someone remembered her, someone told of her to another. That was most interesting. "Who was your mother, who was the woman who knew of me?" After all, her very brothers never heard of her, she had come to Midgard to found she was all but forgotten thanks to Odin's trechery. Yet here stands a woman who knows of her still. Odin was not so infallible as he'd like to have believed. No surprise there, he was dead after all.

Hela smirks at the claim that Helena wouldn't give the Allfather what he wants, "amusing, though I trust you never met Odin, or you wouldn't speak such silly things." She may well hate her father, but that doesn't mean she would take away what he earned. If he wanted something, none would say 'no' to him, Hela should know that better than any.

When Selene speaks to her, Hela arches a brow very slightly, before musing, "you could explain by what manner you've attained such a bountiful harvest." See? Decorum. There's no need to announce to one and all, one must be subtle, else there's no more mystery in the world.

But then Selene gets a bit familiar, and Hela is at first surprised, then amused, and finally vexed as she speaks in a soft monotone, "oh, I do have a crown...but you won't like me with it on. Care to see it...?" It's as soft spoken a warning as one could form, no direct threat, no promises of doom and tarnations, and yet there's a very foreboding subtext to Hela's word. One could say she just asked for an apology, without so much as utter the request.

With what's being offered by both Helena and Selene, a small triumph and an insult, Hela utterly disregard the incomprehensible words from Ekaterina. Was she asking who she was? Was she telling her who she was? It didn't matter. What mattered was whether Selene cared to truly see her.

Battleborn has posed:
"Ekaterina.. have you been taking drugs?" Helena asks simply, of course, she is fond of the 'little don' in a manner of speaking, harmless, but still oddly dangerous. "Valdis, One of the older Valkyr." She stats to Hela, and of course, about Odin. "I wasn't refering to him... I was refering to his overly loud and boisterous son." Of course, mentioning Loki get's a twitch of her eye... she was there, when he tried to sack New York.

Then she had to go and disrespect her mother's armor. "Bitch Please!" Helena says and in a flurry of snow her armor and runic weapon vanish to reveal her 'street clothes' which is an understatment, Itallian cut clothing worn by the social eleite, modest and conservative, but still, worth quite the penny, down to the rolex AND Armani sunglasses.

"Does this suit your tastes better? And she is right, you wouldent like her with her crown on." Even Helena doesn't want any peice of Hela... at least, the human part of her doesn't.

Black Queen has posed:
"A torch? No." Selene mentions, shaking her head, "I do not know where she got her sense of artistry from. Quite frankly, she is not actually family. It is a long tale, to be exact, and which..." She speaks up, loud enough it is clear she is directing herself to Ekaterina, and is turning her head to speak to her at the same time, "is NOT something that bears repeating."

Back to the warrior women, Selene is smiling, her eyes get a bit wide, interested, excited at the mention of a crown and the evil foreboding sense she gets. "Yes, please. Do put it on. I believe there is even a town nearby. Care to add to my collection?" Afraid? No, not at all. Afraid of what? Threats, potential death? This instead draws her in more, "Pretty please, with a cherry on top?" And then it's the first question last, it would seem, as Selene adds to her words, "As for my harvest, well, I do fancy myself a bit of the farmer. Pulling up the weeds."

She continues with a bit of a smile, "Roses, shrubs, trees, grass, pretty much all of it really. What is it they say, Farm Fresh, variety is the spice of life? Play with your food before you eat it. Something to that effect."

Looking up at the 'Bitch Please', Selene is assuming it's her, she gets called Bitch -a lot-, "Hmm?" Looking over Helena again, it's one of those looks royalty give people, you know the one, as if they'd forgotten you existed only moments after having addressed you. And to the statement about the crown, "What is a tornado if it is not filled with the cries of children?" Back to Hela with an expectant look, smiling again.

Ekaterina Vespucci has posed:
This is amazing. Ekaterina has glanced from primarily from Selene to Hela but Helena (battleborn) as well. She insists upon setting up her easel.

Hela has posed:
"Valdis...then she would know me well," Hela smirks, for a moment reliving the glorious battle, when Odin sought to end her by sending the Valkyrior against her. Didn't work out the way Odin planned, though it did give him time to further enforce his spell. She was victorious in the battle, but lost the war as she was trapped in Niflheim.

"Your collection? My dear, you are gravely mistaken." Hela doesn't so much say as she asserts, and just like that all humor dies. "I will review your bounty, I hope you only pick from your crops. Otherwise, you will get your wish." That seems to have gone from jest, into something altogether severe. A manner of accounting, credits and debits, and potential obliteration should there be red in the ledger. It's not always pleasant when higher beings cross paths.

Hela knows full well that look that royalty gives those they deem inferior, as she uses the very same on Selene. Simply disregarding the Black Queen, she turns around as a swirling green mist appears out of nowhere, a black gate opening from within, and as Hela steps inside it, the gate is shut and fades with the swirling mist that disappears in the same manner it appeared.

Ekaterina Vespucci has posed:
Ekaterina watches the exchange, "Selene?" She powerfully adresses the Black Queen with her own name, "That did not sound good. Sounded bad. Warlike. What side of this war am I on?"

Kat turns quizzically to Battleborn, "What side am I on?" She asks again.

Battleborn has posed:
Turns her head at the Goddess of Death vanishes into her green vortex, and then turns to reguard the two externals. "I'd say you are on the same Side as I am little don, which is to not take a side if those two go at it." She says and turns to look at the Fjord. "Besides, there wouldn't be much of a war, Hela was able to conquer entirle planes of exsistance." She says, though, part of her wonders....

Black Queen has posed:
"Yes, my collection." Selene mentions as she looks around a moment, "You would not be the first to wish my death for something I had forgotten I had done. The literal devil, angels, most of the roman divinity really." Selene struggles for a moment, looking upwards toward the sky, "Well..." As she's counting on her hand, her fingers rapidly grow from one to a full hand and she just shrugs, "Rather quite a few, actually. Though I do not expect that you should find any fruit you've lost from your domain with me... I do have some taste." With that though, she turns back to look at Ekaterina and mentions, "Whatever it was that you were thinking of coming out as and living publically as, don't. We can talk about it later, but we should not have to talk about it at all. As soon as you do, your membership might be revoked. And there's no war, trust me. I do not think she comes unprepared for battle and I do not waste my time." And with that she kind squints a bit, looking off to the side as she sighs, "I must go, though, 'they' can accomplish nothing on their own... another time." Then Selene is walking away, wisps of blackish shadowy smoke flittering ahead of herself as it pulls away from her and into a small point of darkness no bigger than a quarter. It pulls on her flesh, until she's essentially shadow herself and is gone, in a different direction than Hela.
