Tinyplot: Rise of the Outsiders

Red Robin has posed:
A quiet cold night in Gotham, nothing going on aside from the usual mugging or drug deal, which are easy to combat. Red Robin usualy just tips off the police and watches as they break up said crimes, no mess, no fuss, and no ninjas.

He wears his usual red robin suit, though the colors are changed to all balck save for the red double R on his chest. Leaning against a wall high ontop of a building, he is currently watching the drone feed. "Even the 'Red Light District' is empty."

Spoiler has posed:
"That's because all the bad guys are hiding from you so they don't have to visit the dentist for the fifteenth time in a month."

The glib reply comes from Red Robin's right as Spoiler steps up with a light footed saunter. "Or maybe there's an underground fight club and they're all running around in the sewers trying to find it for the big showdown tonight? I think that's more plausible." She nods as if agreeing with herself.

Stopping a few feet from Red Robin she offers a light wave. "Hi."

Red Robin has posed:
"Yeah I doubt 'Punched for doing bad things' is accepted by an insurance company." Red Robin says as he turns his head to look at Spoiler. "How's your trainning with batgirl and Batwoman?" he asks with a smile. "When both of them arent doing their own thing."

He looks down to his mini computer screen and frowns... tapping a few buttons before the screen switches to a simple black screen with green code flowing over it. "Maybe killer croc will eat them then.. if they are down there."

Spoiler has posed:
Spoiler nods. "Yeah. And I bet telling the dentist they fell down the stairs only worked the first four times!" she says with an amused giggle.

"Training is good. As much as it can be, right? I'm sore. In places I didn't even know I had. And on top of those same places. And... now I'm feeling sorry for myself. I need waffles. Waffles make everything better with the world." Spoiler turns, scanning the rooftops for the surrounding blocks to see if there was any sign for a YHOP or Waffle Shack. But it not to be. At least right now.

"I'm not sure Croc could handle that many badguys as a boat snack. right? I mean he's big. huge really. massive. But he'd... pop. If he tried to eat that many morons... wouldn't he?"

Red Robin has posed:
Red Robin chuckles. "That means it's working, at least that's what I was told." he says as he looks at her. "You'll get used to it, and eventualy, it wont hurt as much, trainning is as much about learning, as it is about weeding out the ones who wouldent hack it. Always make the trainning harder than the real thing." He says with a smile as he looks down at his screen of code. "Spoiler, I've been watching your work, you're pretty good, getting better... but how would you like to go Pro?" He says with a smile as he takes out a black card, on one side is the Logo of the outsiders, on the other side it's blank (black light letters). "Get a burner phone and text the number hidden on the back of the card, when it's time for their big meeting, you'll get texted with an adress.... also. destroy the card when you get the number."

Spoiler has posed:
Spoiler nods. "I know. They always say that. And then the real thing is actually a couple orders of magnitude worse. That's how Bad Luck Murphy seems to have it play out." She grins behind her full face mask. "But it's been fun. A real challenge. They're almost not yelling at me from beginning to end. There's... maybe half a second where they're breathing and not yelling. I'm taking it as a good sign that I'm getting better" she quips.

Looking at the card as Red Robin talks she tilts her head curiously. "Pro? I'm not sure I'm good enough to officially go Amateur yet.." Another laugh and she nods. "The Outsiders? Who are they? What... are they? Do they just need a token blonde full of snark and stubbornness but no other marketable skills that hero types tend to be able to offer?" She's joking. Mostly. More or a realist, this girl. She's all too aware of how much she still has to learn but she's determined to drink all of the water from the firehose - because everyone else in this business can. Why not her? In time.

Red Robin has posed:
Red Robin smiles. "A specialized group that focuses on taking down out of controled metas and mutants, and getting them the help they need, as well as crime of course. But they arent watched by any of the other groups, kinda like how the titans are watched by the JLA, or the Avengers are watched by SHIELD, oh... wait until you get into the files about SHIELD... THAT will make the hair on the back of your neck stand up." He says with a smirk. "Also, I'm the boss of this group, so it's not like you will be going into an unknown or dangerous situation.... at first... just a meeting."

Spoiler has posed:
Spoiler blinks. With her mask it's hard to tell. But somehow it is entirely obvious. "Okay. Metas and Mutants? Yeah. I'm ... pretty sure you're talking to the wrong Spoiler then. You want that super awesome Spoiler over in Manhattan. The one with all those powers who could stand a chance against bad guys like those. Me? I've got not-a-chance-in-hell-not-even-twice-on-Sunday.." She shakes her head. "You're really serious? You think I can contribute? Gonna need a whole lot more training.... and a cargo ship of waffles.."

Red Robin has posed:
"You sound like beast boy... though waffles are nice." Red Robin says as he turns to look at her. "Spoiler, this is a great way to train, That and it's doing a good thing, I mean, in gotham we have croc, and bane, and Ivy, they are metas as well, and you have a large chance of comming across them." He says with a smile. "I mean.. if you are afraid of it, then I understand... it IS a big task." He says as he leans against the wall. "I mean, -I- know you can do it, but do YOU know you can do it?"

Spoiler has posed:
Spoiler looks at Red Robin. "Beast.. boy? Oh this sounds like a fun bunch already. Should I bring along some Scooby Snacks or is he more of a... red meat kinda beast?" she asks lightheartedly. "And you're right. Bane and Croc and the others are here. But I've been specifically told -not- to come within half a zillion country miles of any of then. And I don't because I'd get turned into an appetizer for any of them." She shifts her weight. "Do -I- know I can do it? Am I /afraid/? If you're NOT afraid, you're psychotic and I don't want to be out here with you any more. Of course I'm afraid. But even I know the difference between being afraid enough to be cautious or being scared spitless to the point my brain shuts down and I just want to go hide in bed for a year." She looks out over the city. "I can do it. Yeah. But not without a LOT of training and practice first. I got lucky on that ninja I helped you with because he didn't know I was there. I'm interested. But I'm absolutely not ready to jump into field work against metas or mutants right now. Unless you put me in one of those puffy suits they use to protect trainers from attack dogs.. and use me as bait."

A pause.

"Do. NOT. put me in a puffy suit and use me as bait. Ever."

Red Robin has posed:
As she rants Red Robin's smile get's larger and larger. "Just what I wanted to hear, see you at the meeting." He says as he stops as he reaches the edge of the building. "Oh.. and here's a little surpise.. um.. don;t tell anyone." he says as he lifts the mask so only she can see... Tim Drake, before lowering the mask and grappeling off into the night.

Spoiler has posed:
Spoiler eyes Red Robin as he grins. "Now you're grinning like a psycho.... I'm not sure if I could laugh or run."

A nod is offered. "I'll be there." Then he gets cheeky and lifts the mask. "Oh great. Now I know what he looks like but not who he -is-... that's helpful" she mutters and rolls her eyes behind the mask as Red Robin disappears.
