Synopsis: Summary needed
Cast of Characters: Nina the Conjuror, Raven

Nina the Conjuror has posed:
Seeking out Tony Stark had met with a dead end so Nina went a different path. She had been told by a talking Gorilla about who might help her and that there's a new Sorcerer Supreme. She had heard him called Strange but that wasn't a lot to go on. So, instead she went after what she did know. Sorcerer Supreme. With that in mind she held up the Eye of True North, whispered an incanation, focused hard and she opened a portal.

It'd be likely felt, a ripple of power from an artifact that was powerful an ancient as well as magic of a portal being created. The Eye of True North took the wielder direclty to a target, taking them even between realms to whatever they sought out. Now, Nina steps straight through the portal into the Sanctum with the eye held before her. Once inside she slides it away quickly and looks around, "This makes sense I suppose." She nods her head to herself, "Now where is this Strange at?"

Raven has posed:
Raven has been residing in the Sanctum since shortly after Strange vacated it. It's not entirely correct to say that she works around the clock, but to call her work ethic anything more than Herculean would probably also be inaccurate, to say the least.

The Sanctum has many magical defenses. None the lease of which is its guard against teleportation, it would take a God- and sometimes those have trouble- to enter uninvited. That is not to say that Nina does not arrive, more that she arrives outside the front door, as most teleporters due. There are few exceptions, and so far, even Raven had to go through the front door- though she wasn't necessarily trying to break in. Raven is nothing if not polite, to a degree.

The door will open when and if Nina tries it, allowing her entry into the foyer of the Sanctum. At the top of the stairs, looking quite as if she was expecting the other woman, stands Raven, a book open in hand.

"Strange is not here. I am Raven. What do you require?"

Nina the Conjuror has posed:
Stepping in, she blinks a few times as she looks at Raven and then looks to the side a moment, "I am here to see Strange. When will he return? I am told he is the Sorcerer Supreme of this time." Her accent places her from South America though definitely one who had been in America quite a bit. She walks casually to the right and looks up to the ceiling and then toward various rooms, "And perhaps you can even tell me what happened to the Ancient One. I haven't eyebaled this place but I dig that it hasn't changed in all these years." SHe looks back at Raven again, "I am Nina, the Conjuror." She states, "I have been split from this world for a while and now I gotta get the word on what has been happening around this world that might pull me back into it. Not that I'm not grateful but for something to undo what was done, it'd have to be a pretty big deal."

Raven has posed:
The book snaps shut- not necessarily startlingly, but more necessarily. "Strange is indiposed. Likely, even dead. The Ancient One is not present. Currently, I am Sorcerer Supreme. As for the state of the world you've been pulled into... It would probably be better to ask Wong. He probably has the time to guide you. I do not." There is, then a pause.

"However, it will be important that I know the nature of what pulled you -out- of this world in the first place. I expect you'll have plenty of information." Raven is sharp as a tack, after all- and her eyes are quite penetrating. It might even be a little intimidating.

Nina the Conjuror has posed:
Nina seems, well, surprised as she turns her gaze back on Raven. She stares for a long moment, "You're the sorcerer Supreme? Aren't you a bit...young?" She asks and then shakes her haed, "Well, who am I to say, I suppose." She then looks at Raven, "As for what sent me here. A very powerful demon, demi-god type. One who would be a god." She looks at Raven, the intimidation factor really isn't there for her, "I used to work for the Ancient One. Was trained by him. I took care of messes that he was too busy to deal with." She then looks back at the area around, "Now I have lost nearly 80 years of time due to a mistake against a powerful being and now I am here." She looks back to Raven, "And who is Wong?"

Raven has posed:
Raven responds to that the way that she always does. "I am an old soul." she remarks, tucking the tome under one shoulder. The other hand slips into the pockets of her hooded sweater. "I will double check to see if the demon lingers. I know of it, though." Such a statement isn't without cause for one in her position, so it probably isn't surprising.

"Wong is... Basically you, for the Ancient One, Strange, and now myself. Think of it that way. He will be best to tell you what you need to know about the eighty years you lost."

Nina the Conjuror has posed:
"Perhaps, but if he is than he must be powerful. I am and was." She states simply, cocky to be sure though there's a strong underlying confidence there, "I was going to replace the old man one day...maybe." She shrugs, "Of course, now Strange has the job, well, you have the job." She shrugs, "Whoever Strange is. And you know of the demon I faced." SHe looks back at Raven, "How interesting." She then considers and starts toward Raven, looking her over more closely before saying, "Not bad." She states and then considers, "But something is happening in your world. Something odd. Something very powerful and I would like to know what. It isn't just that I can see it. I know it is happening. I was pulled from another dimension locked outside of time but ripples from powerful magic." She states, "The stuff only someone like the Ancient One or myself could pull off."

Raven has posed:
Raven can sense the pride and the power and everything in between. She stands in silence, appraising Nina's claims while the other woman talks- something of a trademark for most of the Sorcerers Supreme, it seems. After she's finished, Raven remains quiet for a few moments, before finally piping up.

"There is quite a lot of that going on. It is a... Tumultuous time. The presence of magic has become rather intriguing in the past decade or so. There are issues springing up all over the globe that require my attention. Once you've had some time to catch up, it will require your attention, too."

Nina the Conjuror has posed:
She turns her gaze back to Raven and hmms, "Well, I'm sure." She states, "And I'm sure I can acclimate fast enough." She then nods her head to Raven, "You have a pretty Class Chassis by the way, if you ever want to tell me personally more about what is happening, count me in." She then turns away from Raven and idly places her hands on the hilt of her blades and states, "If you have a spot you'd like me to check, let me know." She then looks back, "I'm sure you have enough magic to get in touch." She then starts back for the door, "Obviously you are busy now and I got a world to check out. Got any suggestions of where I should start besides the Stark tower place? I've heard of a Justice League and an Avengers group popping up around here. Guessing that there are a lot more than magic running around today. Am I right?" She looks back.

Raven has posed:
The vernacular is dated, but Raven can tell that for what it is. Her awareness doesn't exactly mean that she is going to respond, however. Now is neither the time, nor the place- after all, she isn't exactly well-seated as Sorcerer Supreme just yet. "I will give you a call if I have need of you. I would expect Wong to be in touch sooner rather than later."

With that, she pulls the book forward and opens it up, unappreciably to the exact page she'd closed it on before. "If I were you, I would seek out the Avengers, and the Justice League in turn. When you reach the latter, tell them you're looking for John Constantine and Zatanna Zatara."

Nina the Conjuror has posed:
A look back and she considers, "Constantine...now why is that name vaguely familiar." She then shrugs and hmms, "And I don't mean an Emperor." She then shrugs and starts off in the direction of the door again, "Well, then, good day to you, Sorceress Supreme." She looks back with a smirk before saying, "What an odd choice." And hten she walks out the front door, "So quiet." She then simply pulls out an odd stone and mutters a word and steps through another portal, gone from the front step once more.
